They never said for sure (other than the comment on reducing the iso damage for G5's). My assumption is they thought that people were doing them too easily so they boosted them.
I think it's a nobrainer to assume that if they don't say something definitively, it means you're gonna get screwed.

What’s worse is that with the current points structure there is no reason for many alliances to even try to complete tasks and could cause many alliances to lose their bigger players in favor of an alliance that could possibly compete the tasks.

these targets are impossible to achieve
there is only 3 of us none stop farming the AGG hostiles so we at least get that one out of an alliance of 90

way way back when i was ops 25 and the idea of an ops 25 player killing a 2.5million strength mission boss was impossible they just auto completed the mission for all.l who still had it open. seemed like a reasonable solution to the issue 😅

I’ve got 22 but am as far away from being a whale as Voyager 1 is from Earth IRL … I just use as much faction credits as I can to buy the Syndicate credits in the various faction stores or even various Event Stores.
That said, I totally hear you on the number of crews you need to set-up for solo armadas, waves, outposts, V’ger, PvP, Loot, etc. The real fun gets to be setting up the crews for some (eg, armadas, waves, outposts, etc.) so that you aren’t inadvertently stealing crew members from another preset part of the same group.

Vger is 2 slots for me, orions take a special crew, silents take a special crew, gorn and hurak I can just kill with my generic combat preset
I wouldn't mind more presets though some of mine I use then swap 1-2 officers
but in general you can have a premade layout that fits several crews where you only have to change 1-2 officers to fit the task
especially below decks are identical for a lot of tasks you just have to change 1-2 on-deck officers
like my vger silent crew is literally just my general combat crew with tucker and phlox thrown on there instead of seska and suder

You'll need to kill more than 2 hostiles in the system. Had that issue the other day and the form didnt work til we had killed like 20 hostiles.

titan is basically obsolete, koskari or velox would've been better, velox being easier, with the cube taking the place of the titan

And I went Minerva for my g6 uncommon so that would have ruined any stockpiles for a koskarii altho I do have one built but only took it to t2 bc it wants the same ore and such my titan does

Any crewing suggestions for new borg armadas where the biggest ship uses a loot crew (dajash toli 5,doc bd), but what officers would be useful on 2 smaller ships which are expected to die quickly. Hitting g6 targets and their crit hits do 0 damage so not troi.

No matter what I do I'm just not seeing the same mat income as others my level or their efficiencies are way way higher and the small trickles go farther for them
