No idea if someone gave this answer yet. Some missions spawn to a random location within two jumps. If you were within two jumps you were just unlucky that this random spawn was in there.

You can open a support ticket and request assistance. They helped me with a mission in Outlaw space I could not get to as a level 12.

Just be aware of this as the mission spawns for random locations do not get "blocked" by your own warp range.

Reward wise i think should be 25% of the same percentage as G4 scrapping (ie rewards vs total ship cost in mats and parts before researches) but obviously G6 mats. G5 epic mats should convert to G6 rare ship parts as a bonus but at a lower percentage to make it fair.

Timewise epics should that 20 days before researches, rares 15 days, uncommons 10 days.

An option to mark your favorite ships under the ship name on top. Mark up to 10 ships and they are showed at the very beginning, with most recently marked going to the front of the list. Most of the specialty/support ships get lost way back in the list. Even newer ships like Dauntless, Serene Squall or Reliant are way down. Marking most used low powered ships would be a very handy QoL update.

Gets to 60%-ish and says game needs to be updated with an UPDATE button. Clicking that takes you to the Scopely website to download the installer again. Which if you try and start it, gets you looping into the launcher and "Game needs Update" etc. Only way out of the loop is to choose "REPAIR" in the launcher, not PLAY. Just a heads up.

In its current state, it’s one of the more useless features in STFC so I wouldn’t even worry about it, unless they eventually speed up the whole outpost run.
