<@&509690795536941056> Every day now there are material spend events. Whether it’s weekend Officer Depot events, COTA, Vengence is Mine and Galactic Rush. We do not have infinite material stashes, nor infinite cash. COTA takes so much to complete both in terms of materials and other items for upgrades that it pretty much means saving for the rest of the month so I bypass the Officer Depot Events and there is no point in even trying the Vengence events as a G6 even if I had materials to spare. As for Galactic Rush it requires ever increasing amounts of materials to complete for pretty poor rewards so again it’s something to ignore. I’ll probably ship COTA next month as well as frankly I’m suffering from material spend fatigue which means it will be 2 months before I spend any materials meaning that there is no need to spend any cash for 2 months either. On one hand Scopely wants us all to level up, but you hate us to hoard yet for most that is the only viable strategy. However what your arc runners are doing now is guaranteeing we both hoard materials and not spend cash

With galactic rush you need to ask yourself.

“if I dump my materials now will I get more or less than if I dump my materials in a future SLB/Heroic SMS?”

The answer will always be… “I get more later”. Therefore despite the updates there is still no incentive to do the event. Only mega whales will power the very biggest alliances to alb victory who spend enough to get resources to compete/complete every SLB/ALB

morale gives you piercing bonus but the % is so small its arguably negligible, burning does 1% of the opps max hull every round as long as burning is applied and hull breach as mentioned is 150% crit dmg boost

The tactic people did in the beginning was to use their disco to port their squall to the lvl 70 system (really quickly before the hazard blew it up).

Then port it back when it was full.

If you use the disco, the disco gets the chaser and you don't have to stun it with your squall.

If your disco can't reach, stick Ghrush on it. If it still can't reach, just go as deep as you can. The deepest system you can get to with a disco is better than the early ones you can reach.

Yes, 10M nodes, and 30M refines. With the particle CT you get a bit extra when you leave a node though, so don't need more than 3 times.

If you used the disco in Epic transogen space, it'll die to the hazard damage. The damage tick is every 30 seconds. The trick is you don't know when that 30 seconds is.

So if you're quick enough you can port your squall there before the disco gets killed.

Reliant, GS31, Dauntless and now the Excelsior are probably worse Specialty ships to date. I’d say the Serene also, but that ship has become decent with Artifacts.👍🏼

Reliant is good for the Augment store favours.
Dauntless takes way to long to upgrade but will be good for the auto farming MU for speed ups
Squall is really nice for the artifacts and the speed ups
