This may be the first time there’s been so many players ready to move straight into the new grade (G7) at its launch. But being at the bleeding edge has always been whale-territory only for probably at least 6-9 months. Things only slowly start to get cheaper and more manageable so I imagine a lot of people are going to find it very difficult to progress for a good while to come.

There is an SMS that rewards this, for klling enemies with EMOTONAL DAMAGE used. That currency can be refined in the EMOTIONAL DAMAGE refinery into Exocomps related to EMOTIONAL DAMAGE, Forbidden Tech shards for that Forbidden Tech that is related to EMOTONAL DAMAGE, officer shards for Pauly,Hammy and Special Counselor Troi, EMOTONAL DAMAGE shards that are used to upgrade EMOTONAL DAMAGE on your ship and THERAPY shards that are used to upgrade the THERAPY on your ship. Everything is in capital letters. For free, you can also get the two missions "Psychological Warfare", that explains what EMOTIONAL DAMAGE is and "Counseling", that explains what TERAPY is. At the end of each mission, you get EMOTIONAL DAMAGE shards and THERAPY shards. The "Psychological Warfare" will also reward Pauly shards, and the "Counseling" will also reward Special Counselor Troi shards. Each one of these missions will also reward 1500 sandal currency each, to start up the EMOTONAL DAMAGE refinery.
Special Counselor Troi:
Captain Maneuver: Increases the amount of THERAPY on the shp by 100%-300% on the ship every round (not cumulative)

Flashpoint was put on hiatus because it was a pretty big failure.
They started off with linked events with unrealistically high milestones of difficult hostiles to kill in hazard zones, ignored they player complaints, and it never really recovered well after that.

that's because of the officer efficiency. you need to get 130 shards for dchok for that to stop happening
because you 'have him' but the game doesn't always factor the efficiency in so until you click on the officer himself you 'dont' have him

you can click any officer in the crew assignment menu of your ship, click Upgrade and then return 1 menu. That usually fixed it for me nowadays and is a lot faster than the old method

The "+" button to use the slider (as in, I can do more than 1 / 3 / 5 pulls at once -> 50 pulls max) is disabled as long as you don't own enough standard recruit tokens for at least one pull.
I know I can just open enough hostile loot chests to get enough tokens every now and then, but I thought there may be a way to buy 50 pulls for lat independent of my standard recruit inventory count.

It does that in the faction store for ship BP's too. You can't do the + and do a max pull (converting from latinum as needed) if you don't have enough faction credits to start with.

I don't know it is a building 61 thing. My outpost building is 58 and I no longer see the FC slot in my outpost refinery. But maybe they hid it for under 61 buildings now. Did you check to see that the FC slot is nowhere in the refinery (maybe they moved it once your building unlocked it).

I think we got 50 points each (and a day or two had more than 1 gift chest). If the event said 100 points, it was probably wrong and stealth corrected. I dunno, didn't pay attention to the scoring.
