Has Scopley ever thought about retrofitting ships instead of just refitting? Let’s say you get a Gladius at ops 32, and love the ship. But it’s only useful for a short time. Why not offer a retrofit schematic (basically ship BP) that can be bought or obtained in the faction store once the ship has been maxed. Once unlocked and applied you now have a t1 G4 Gladius that has to be upgraded as a g4 ship using g4 materials. It could all be ops locked to coincide with g4 ships of the same rarity offered by the factions. Of course there would have to be a drawback somewhere…..my though would be this, say you love that Gladius so much that you retrofit it to g4, then g5, and g6 when/if it was available. Down the lines player thinks to scrap the ship for some extra rss! But sadly the Gladius can only ever be scrapped as the g3 ship that it is, which in effect makes scrapping it once you retrofit it to g4 or higher useless. And unlike a refit, a set of retrofit prints would need to be acquired every time you wanted to retrofit a ship. Not just a one time thing, but every time.

Here's a good one Scopely. You ran a RLB for the USS Vengeance that finished yesterday at event reset. That RLB gives loot that allows the top 5 peeps to work towards unlocking the Vengeance's ship abilities. Having gained enough loot from that yesterday to unlock an ability, I went to look for the event store for it to Make It So.

Except it wasn't there, like it has been for AGES. I waited till this morning to see if it appeared overnight, but it didn't. So I messaged the helpdesk, and fair do's their guy was very helpful but this was their response:

"I've checked on this closely and confirmed that the redemption period has ended."

So, let me get this straight: You ran a RLB to allow people to get loot to unlock abilities, then you failed to allow people to use their loot to unlock those abilities.

Their system logs crash along with the task completion acknowledgement, so if you bring it up to support and they look at the logs they can't see what the logs failed to log and conclude you missed some.
