It's always that bad but at least before you had the chance to play with similar casual players like you. So when things are roughly even, it could be somewhat fun. Those players have been chased away by the pvp spenders and now there's nobody else left but them. If you go in, it's just a farm for them

Oh, match up wasn't good, but that's not even what I was talking about. I was talking about ships getting stuck in warp and not being able to send a different one so have to reboot through the match. Then try to join another one but my squad won't load. After another reboot I get a frozen blend of the Arena page and my home screen. After yet another reboot I can't find a single squad where anyone is ready. So after an hour, I've been in one arena that I barely got to participate in.

As an idea. To encourage further engagement on arena could you look to refresh the prem dust refine options in the faction store? For us that have engaged they are long gone now and we are seeking new sources of regularly drips. It was one of the key perks and reasons for arenas so putting more back in the faction store would help.

tried now, it seems to work now. Even when this workaround works, it still breaks the mechanic. as Im struglling with dailies/events and just want to set a target for my ship and then return to it after it ports to another desired system, not to an error 🙂

People need to realize they only truly care bout the 2-4% of gamers who will willingly drop serious cash. That is their target audience. The other players are just filling space. Many just can’t comprehend that fact, but it’s truth.

Look at statistics from every year summer is normal to lose active player base as most can't play at home or on holiday, really it's quite normal across all games.
As for individuals choosing to move on that's pretty standard, let's just look at past. People move on quit play something else or even take time off.

Ive always had better drop rates opening them after each run. Was getting like 14 per 200 chests, but the 1 time I saved a bunch of chests I only got like 24 from 700 chests.

rushing ops is not advised, especially at G6 where research/artifact, ship and officer power will be behind and the resources/time needs to ops up increase dramatically.
in general our pleas are either a) slow down the speedrun or b) spend more purposefully on power you lack (if a whale but even then, it will be 10s of $1000 to even make up the stuff)
