The only mystery that remained was why in the world did Scopely decide it was a good idea to introduce 3 new materials to mine, a new hostile grinding currency (well actually like 5, but only one is specific to your ops level), and even more time spent each and every day pressing 'claim' repeatedly on stuff before you actually get to play the game.

How have the costs changed? The material cost and time for for buildings and faction ships are EXACTLY the same as before all these loops. People did fine then without the new loops, you’ll do fine now without them.

There will never be a finishing line in this game, why are you rushing? And then telling people like me to rush. Relax, realise that there isn’t a mad rush. Ignore all the new loops for now, you’ll progress just fine like the people before who progressed without those loops. There is no finish line, rushing is not needed.

The point remains that all these new loops are not essential to game progression and completely optional. Things weren’t too hard for people who didn’t have these loops, so they won’t be too hard for people that ignore them. It’s completely sound logic .

The nsea has level locks in it too. It's flawed in design, it should have a lock at 51, ie. the G5 grade shift, but it locks at 50 so it's too strong if players overdevelop theirs at that level.

But that doesn’t help with my Rev. ops 59 T10 Rev and I can get the Evolution 6* gift, but the Rev solo chests aren’t giving me any epic rev parts

This is the best way. People managed fine before without the new loops like transogen, you can progress fine without them too if that makes your game time more acceptable. Nothing released in the last 2 years is critical to ops or faction ship development

Out of the box the selkie in 62 faction system mine 45k/hour and I need 80k+ for the hazard daily

technically yes, practically it's not a viable task until ops 63 or so

but it doesn't die instantly in the hazard system so with some number of repairs per day to the hazard you can do it before then
