Force money spend work for games that are on for 2-3 years and then they die.

Star trek online is making bank because they keep the content fresh (within reason), bring new ships constantly (not one trick pony ships), and aren't heavy on p2p/p2w

Mind you tons of strategy goes into STO for ships and officers but that's what keeps it engaging, also you have the ability to share stuff with alliance mates upon reaching certain ranks within the alliance (something stfc/Scopley still hasn't given us)

Scoring on "Hurak Domination Mastery" is very broken. I now did rares with less boosts and lower 1st round DPR ship but got higher score (all chance based officers are 100%).

Both times all 1st round weapons shot. DD with more boosts got:

259,22B points from 63E,

but now Rotarran got 330,97B from 63R.

So it seems to be completely random.

In late g5, the research and building speedup stuff never seemed all that critical. Lat and speedups were plentiful. Once you hit g6 though, you want all of that maxed as much as possible. The artifacts, any favours from factions, research, etc.

Operations is still the building that takes the longest time to upgrade. A decent tip is to try and finish a spend event with the next level of operations cooking, so that you can let it time down without spending lat or speedups on it. I.E. I started ops 67 on july 12 or 13, and its ~40 day build time will have it done in time for next month's spend event without any lat or speedups needed.

Normally they fix themselves if you either go up to the next rep level or if you go back down in rep to the previous level. (Which is massively impractical/impossible at certain points)
