I'm thinking, based on these answers in the Q&A and whatnot, that the issue we're hitting is the Devs aren't considering both the Arc contents AND the new loop contents together enough. Really, if they want us to not just power-through the loop contents (to bait us into buying the ships early), they should scale back the event score expectations. Worse is when, like last month, buying the ship early and even buying an upgrade pack isn't enough to make it useful for the events at all.

  • "With Flashpoint, the goal wasn’t to create a repetitive grind—": Sure could have fooled the entire playerbase
  • "Specifically, we know Stage 2 and 3 of the Hurak Invasion IMS events were too tough".: They weren't too though, they ignored reality
  • "The intention here is you should be hitting hostiles of your grade": Perhaps design the mobs so that's possible? Ops 62 players with a maxed G5E, good research,... generally can't farm the 62 mobs
  • "We definitely are acutely conscious of the time needed each day": And you aim to keep increasing it until we all quit the game you mean?
  • "The last part is a theme for our arc where hopefully you have seen it being a super efficient": Get this person a dictionary so they learn the meaning of the word efficiënt....

I appreciate the thought of having a Q&A… what I don’t appreciate is the same old response (or rather lack thereof) to the tough questions that are being asked. I understand keeping answers “within the brand standard” but when scopely sent out the survey on this Arc a week ago, they could and should have seen this response coming from the player base and had at least some response to ease the players. Instead, I feel this is only enraging the player base even more.

Anyone have problems running the game after the last update on windows? My CPU goes up to 100% after I starting game and whole game lagging, not possible to play. With all the grind and impossible milestone, I think scopley has finally put the last nail in there coffin, I used to play 8 hours a day and do all content, but since start of arc I play maybe 1 to 2 hours a day and skip a lot of the content as I know I cannot complete it unless I played 24/7, so for me now I have no problem putting phone down and forgetting about the game and log in occasionally. It is a sad time as I used to love the game. But I don't like what scopley has done to it now,

Lets take a look at the Ferengi Transogen Mining event. I need
30 hours of mining, with a approx 25 trips over 12 days. Just on rare. If I need to fuel the common and uncommon refinery that is additional trips. Plus whatever other mining I need my g6 miner for. Then add onto that that there maybe 60 mines to share among several hundred g6 players.

event's are bull, G6 uncommon/rare mats, rewards, g3/4/5/ and 6 that's not worth the sigma speed up's lat, needed to complete the event, no speed up's, means events are pointless, well done on these events

Officer xp can be bought with lat at a very favorable price. It shouldn't be the limiter.

If you can't afford the lat, you can grind xp from borg probes. Can get a million xp from 100 chests off of the 58s.

Pick and choose the officers to push until you're G6. Whenever wandering warrior comes around you can get a couple dozen million lat there.

you do get more lat in G6 - unless you accidently buy something that wipes out your stash in 1 hit. Think i miscliked a research somewhere or something and kissed goodbye to like 40mil without even noticing for a few days facepalm

That's the point, the lat income exceeds officer shard income so there shouldn't be an issue there.

Don’t ignore faction recruit token pulls after you gained max shards for the uncommon officer
You can get quite a lot of officer xp there, but it does require faction credits to buy those faction recruit tokens

looks like all that raise the floor/solo waves and revenant is working - moving everyone up, certainly felt my pace of upgrading ships has increased
though looks like a bunch of G3 left given whats ascended since may and the diffs between them

prob why G6 has been full of fresh meat lately taking my mining spots

What in the heck is this farengi mining event

How am I supposed to mine 37 million raw rare transogen to complete the event and I don't even want to think about how much of the other ones

But my maxed Nova with the farengi mining speed crew in lvl 59 token system has been there for just about the full time this new arc has been out and it's barely even got 18 gonna be 19 mil here soon

I haven't been able to reset it when it's been done every time but it doesn't sit for very long without mining
