@heady moon mate, when was the last time we had an event that worked without issues? Why is there always something wrong with every new event? Now the level 68 hostiles dont count in the Suliban Hostiles event. All the screw ups used to be funny to watch. But now it just getting sad.

What can I say, my moto is generally "Expect bad things, hope for good things. If you expect bad things you can only be pleasantly surprised". That being said seeing the state of this arc I'm not having high hopes for a positive reception of the Q&A unless the devs come right out of the gates by admitting scopely erred on this arc/flashpoint events and indicate clear and concrtee changes they'll make. I think most of us here could suggest a few if they need suggestions. Not needing multiple selkie trips for a single rare refine would be nice for example.... It would also be nice if the low G6 experience was smoothed out since as it stands most of low G6 is locked out of grinding rare G5 transogen containment issues.

If my server failed on the IMS, but others succeeded, I would say my server failed (which we are pretty petty over here and can't work together on much). But the fact that none succeeded, and there has been no response to questions about it, and the fact that there were things locked behind being successful as a group (and I potentially have a mission taking up 1 of my mission slots that I can never complete now.. but idk on that, there has been no response on this) and there hasn't been anything responded about that.

My wishlist for flashpoint changes includes:

• Transogen refinery cost squish: Even making how long it takes to mine the transogen wouldn't be an issue, I just want to get 1 or more refines out of a selkie run while as it stands I need 2 trips with a T6 selkie to get 1 rare transogen refinery pull
• Place the solo armadas in a separate system: It's very rough grinding dropships in the same system with invading entities
• Smooth out the hostile scaling: G6 needs x20 (x22 I think) of the cost for the targ tag chests while our grinding potential isn't much higher, especially the power jump for the 62 is rough in that regard
• I do feel the hazard damage in the level 60 and lower systems needs to be removed as those ops have no access to the G6 hazard research
• SMS/IMS milestones: Enough said there I think
• Make the armada directives a guaranteed drop from the targ tag chests
• ....

stage 3 was flawed because players were sick of exploding to hazards while chasing a single enemy that wasnt there because the few systems were overfarmed by higher players with impulse crew. and that only happened because... ding ding ding, they overtuned the enemies and milestones and gave players not enough loot.

farming near the own ops was ok for loot/chestturnin ratio. but half of g6 farmed in g5 space because... yeah ^^

it’s some of the best research in the game lol… the new hostiles are definitely more difficult than say, fkr hostiles but sounds like you’ve crippled yourself by neglecting key researches

and these researches are effectively instant so no reason to not do them as soon as you’re able

There's no point Arenas end at midnight no one's awake at that point and tomorrow is Arc fall so extending Arenas does nothing and helps no one just send out a compensation chest and call it good

Oh I wouldn't say that the month hasn't been that bad well the art that shall not be named was certainly terrible this one really wasn't that bad and I've gotten quite a good amount of stuff out of this month I suppose it depends on how you look at things

Not surprised probably everyone's too busy or didn't think it was critical enough maybe the lag didn't affect enough people I don't know I'm not sure how they determine comp chests and when to send them

The last two arcs have been grind-heavy, soul-crushing disappointments and the fact there's still 5+ months of Flashpoint left makes me want to drink Drano.

Wasn't the idea behind Flashpoint that there would be consequences to how players succeeded or failed? Given nobody came close to finishing IMS stage 3, shouldn't the Hurak rule the galaxy now?

It's absolutely possible. Go watch the Flashpoint preview video. They say it very clearly. It may be broken down into sub-arcs but the overall thing is going to last six months.

I look at it this way. They told us there was fantastic new things and the galaxy was reshaping. They gave us invasions 2.0, with mining and hazard space. They added crucible which is an awesome event but falls flat when you’re trying to figure out and explain it, along with build a building, mine 3 new resources, figure out new hostiles that the space kills you before your hull would die. Rewarding somewhat. Dumb, yes. Well thought out, no.
