Don't look at it that way, look at it as an opportunity to earn tokens to choose which officer you want instead of previously when Scopely choose which officer you went for. It's all just a QoL update to give more choice so long as you don't choose the newest officers.

I did the math (roughly), I'd have to grind for 8+ hours straight in order to get enough of the loot from the hostiles to pull enough directives to complete the 21 lvl55 rares needed to complete the 3rd stage of the SMS (assuming I got 100 directives 100% of time). This ignores the chest cooldown timer and warp to system / repair time. 5,800 level 58 hostiles.

You take their weapon 1 no matter what. My philosophy has always been kill them with your weapon 1 of possible. Take the damage Against these particular hostiles like I said, the multiply every weapon. Better to go damage rd 1 and take the hit, than go all defense and take more damage potentially per combat

I think the difficulty of the higher Flashpoint Entities is meant to be handled by this newest Scotty. That's so huge iso damage boost it helps to end them swiftly. Luckily high tier Demarco will do in the meantime.

It is bad enough to have an event that requires 25 Borg Poly armadas. But we just had 3 armadas not working due to the "armada canceling" bug, that has been in these types of armadas since they were introduced into the game. This is for me the sixth time I logged a ticket on this to support.
