on most servers you can hit oc and you can, if you're weird, hit bases, but most servers with an roe will prohibit hitting non-oc miners in territory outside of situations where, say, one alliance asks someone from another alliance to do it, to clear 0 nodes because someone's not responding, and the node is needed

They did, but they found themselves in the position that they couldn’t roll back to the backup taken the day before and apply the transactions from there and then apply the transactions from when it reverted because of the data that was behind it.
As in, the absence of data impacted the changes that were made over the following week.

That being said, the 3rd of July is sometimes seen as "extra work day" for employers in the US. Also some of the employers don't allow vacation/personal time the day before a holiday, so I can imagine US participation being lower this time.

anyway, i don't get people's concern about new servers. i'd rather start on a known one than take my chances with a new one. plus, you get to win a lot more & have better packs on older servers, to at least some extent

I agree with HD, around 38 you wanna be flying one of the "G3 epics" - augur, ent or d4, and the ent is the much better one these days
yes, it's a lot of rep work to get to that point, but it's extremely necessary and worth it

Didn’t say that - Mayflower is useless to you as a ship but you should max it and scrap it, and the Saladin isn’t useful in this context but again in your 40s turning it into Pilum parts is helpful.
(It’s also very useful as a ship but the D4 is better in most ways except for as a troll ship)

The Saladin is front loaded with one big gun so it can do silly things to much bigger ships, the D4 is equal two “big” (ish) cannons so doesn’t have the same party trick.
