It really depends on their tier and what other traditional mitigation officers you have on your ship.

Traditional mitigation caps at ~70% damage reduction, so if you are reaching that with only Paris or only WoK McCoy, then you don't need both.

Otherwise - its a tradeoff, mitigate more damage or do more damage with the BD slots you have? I personally have one crew where I routinely stack McCoy and Paris on the same ship. For me its an exception.

Test some crew combos, analyze your results. And make the coice that is best for you, and in a few weeks when you have more new officers, ships, levels on em, try it all again!

that's a complete approximation based on I don't even know what tbh, but for sure different hostiles have different piercings, good crews will increase your mitigation during combat in pve, etc, and I wouldn't rely on that at all

3. I have the Reliant (T2)

Are certain levels of favors hidden behind ops or ship levels? If so, is there a reference for these? (I've looked a Jules' spreadsheet, it's not mentioned there)

Probably won't ever happen. Scrapping ships is "too valuable". In the unlikely event they do add Scrapping speed ups they'll either have terrible sourcing or have the same lat costs as Sigma speed ups (or worse)

Iso refinery changes mostly based on the tier of the ship, but at ops 61+ it does remove the G4 ship parts from it unless your ship is tier 6 or under

I believe ship parts refinery works just like the mats refinery where you just have more refinery options i.e. a g5 and a g4 one, so the only thing would be you'd likely have to go out of your way a bit to farm g4 broken ship parts

I believe gs-31 always has 4*
armada chests are another case of "the 4* remain unchanged; you get new 5* options as well"
