yeah im not really a fan of design so far, a bunch of auto grinders in the system. doesnt sit right with me.
what's the main way players have gained augment faction rep? i've heard some grinding it out already. i only see the 10k in the common chest pull at my ops.

You're right it's not a bug, and it's not a lack of testing, **but it is a design fault even if they purposely made it punishing **, and it means the designers are out of touch with their community. You "only" need to grind out to 60mill rep. Then the khan chests pump rep out like crazy.
I used my Sanctus with a loot crew and farmed the lvl52 hostiles. Took a very long time and it honestly sucked but it was 100% worth it.

And that's the thing it's not difficult at all. It's time punishing, and a lot of people don't have time in their lives to sit here and grind things for 6 to 8 hours because the event requires them to kill 400 to 800 hostiles in a day . There's absolutely nothing challenging about the event. It's actually super easy because you're just pushing buttons. It's the time sync factor that's out of control for a good number of the player community

And that being said....while the Rep grind for Augments is brutal if you try to do it all super fast. It takes less farming than youll need to do for FKR rep in the long run.

Surveys are easy. I can pop level 60 surveys easy and it hardly phases me. The surveys are much easier than the normal hostiles

Surveys only come out every 55 to 60 minutes so that is not a viable way to grind these events

That's the other problem with everything else you have to do in a game, they design an event so the average person has to punch down and run up into the daily hostile cap between the events and everything else they have to do

With my favors, the reliant, and a proper loot crew, it multiplies those numbers by about a factor of eight for me. (so if the ship drop 1600 reputation, I get 1600×8 ). Which is what they expect people to do. They don't expect people to grind that base amount. That's just for the faction, for the loot drops, my multiplier is actually about 21 times greater than the loot in the scan show shows

I have absolutely no problem farming faction or loot. That's never been a problem in this arc for me. It's the fact that I'm being forced to punch down and get punished during the grind events

The rep grind is brutal, I didn't do it last month because it sounded like a longer term goal than forcing it all into one month.

That's definitely possible. Especially with the younger generations, and even my generation (Gen x) is starting to lose their attention spans to some degree. I mean 30 years ago, I would be content to reading a newspaper for a 30 minutes, and now I groan at the idea of spending five minutes to read a news article. I'd much rather get a 15 minute video summary of the news for the entire day.

Good for scopely. That's hundreds of players being trained to visit the store every day.

Back in the day, there were hard to get officers in there. Now, most of it is in TPs so the value just isn't there anymore.

they were given a timeline of a week or a month, i cant remember.

When it says target players it doesn't mean player as in you. It means other targeted players by you. It's worded a bit funky

If this is how they calculate, then they really never should've implemented a few things that they did in this game with officers and research. That's it oops.

not really. i enjoyed it and if you actually read the event and scoring tasks, you did not have to rush..
it had evetns that required you to increase your power level, most people only did that by doing buildings... but research also gave points... so alot of people complained that they get pushed up the ops levels... they just didnt do research...

and no event required to spend money

AND if you stay below ops 20 you get the frontier pass a 2nd time when it runs again

double dip on the event rewards that dont cause you to ops up

I can assure you, i did research! I went from lvl 14 to lvl 23 in the Month it was running. There were 8x increase power events that required 800k of points each time.

Would be nice if the grind model for the Reliant, could have been the same as with FC Khan. Either we could grind out parts in hostile and BP`s in loot goblings. So grinder can get it faster. Love the FC Khan grind way, or pay to skip the grind. Fantastic way to sourse stuff in the game. Not have all the time gate in the game, pay to skip grind works for me.

We should not complain to much if the ship get stuck in Warp. You fix it with a restart. Before the cancel warp, your ship was lost to you enter the system you warped to. And back in the days we talking 10-15 min warp time. Then you needed to war back, then your ship was stuck for 20-30 min. Before you could send it to the correct system, new 10-15 min so, thats 45 min in warp. Yes, Irritating but much better with warp cancel then & stuck ship. Than not cancel warp. Look on the bright side, game have evolved.

The g3 epics aren't that different nowadays in terms of power. With so much power creep in the game it doesn't matter much which you pick. As with all faction ships, once you go to the next grade (g3, g4, g5 etc) it becomes a little redundant
