But for those who don't, or can't due to their limited income etc, there's nothing wrong with someone who has abundant resources, and still buys packs for other things, helping out their fellow Alliance member, who, due to their limited income or whatever don't buy a lot of packs. Not everybody can afford to drop hundreds of dollars into a game, nor has a desire to.

And we do the outside thing, we go outside and play with the dogs, during the summer we go out on the lake with our boat, and I don't play the game during those moments. But due to disability, there are things I can't do which I would love to do, so playing the game allows me to have fun, when I can't do other things. This game gives me that little dopamine moment as you mentioned, and the hyper focus kicks in. Which in the winter time especially, helps with things that I'm unable to do outside.

not really, not unless you're after store currency, in which you would have to do the high end tasks that require a lot of spending.
you can do a 5k hostile task and get nothing for it, waste of time.

For example, players have been hoarding exborg Choice Opportunity chips to claim during AT instead of during the month, and DSA/BSA rare pulls can be paused when AT is announced. By the time they run, you'll have the chance to get 2x claims of each.

to unlock the entire store, you have to reach the highest tournament tier, and stay there, then you have to finish the emerald chain, that's just to unlock the entire store, before you've bought anything. then you have to get the currency to buy anything and then you've got the cool down timers on purchases limiting you to what you can buy. sounds like years to me.
