I think the bounce in the AT is related to how much the screen is filled. My ex-borg faction store does the same thing (bounces) because it fits all on one screen for me. So they may be able to stop it by adding a series of invisible, non-selectable tiles (really one tile, repeated multiple times). This also means it might have something to do with scrolling/screen overflow behavior (a good place to start looking).

Players should get G5e ships for playing in G6. By the time you're 60, you no longer need mats for buildings and can dump all of them into the ships. Maxed G5e ships can bridge to G6r or some other exotic mid grade push.

Some players want to make a strong cube, so T9 a G6u, and I've seen some suggestion that a specialty ship focus would get you to 70. The vindi is usually the ship of choice.

Vindi parts have entered end of arc event stores, and that looks like a viable way of getting there. The faction ship path would take you over a year anyway l2p so it's not like that's the "fast" way either.

Anyway, it's probably good to work on both paths at the same time. Maybe you can end up skipping going too deep into G6r that way to save mats.

The g6 uc is still needed. The g5 epic doesn't have the warp range past lvl 63 systems so at 64 and 65 you can't use one for dailes. While you can relocate to the lvl 66 system you cant them do epic g6 solos.

A g6 uc helps here. Take it to t9 and upgrade the cube.

The cube is hands down better than the g5 epics.

Also by doing this you have more time for research and acquiring other buffs and to be a stronger player overall. There are many quite weak ops 66s and 67s. Rushing or doing the bare min so you can upgrade ops faster bites you at some point.

SNW isn't just about triangle advantage, it's about loading damage onto shields and lasting longer on a grind. It's an exceptional crew for survey farming.

When you're G6, speedups become the problem. And a lot of players are f2p farming them from MU.

MU traders only have 2 guns. So you take full dmg on the 1st gun of every round.
You'd be better of using Spike to just have an increase to shield mit against everything.

Janeway works after the first hit, Pike from the start. So against hostiles like Gorn (where the first set of shots takes it out) you mitigate more with SNW Pike. There are subtle differences.
Now, add WOK Carol bd on Pike crew and you have 100% damage to shields after the first hit (same as Janeway) but with better mitigation. MU traders are then easy.

It’s not the sourcing it’s also getting it to a level you can actually use it. That will take about a year or more (ops 67 at the moment. I’ll probably be 69 or 70 by then). Really with the f2p sourcing you should be able to also get some upgrade parts for it so the time to bring it to usefulness isn’t 20 arcs time.

Your math is forgetting that solo waves still crash periodically after the first set of hostiles, then you relaunch the game and find you lost wave 1

With all officers "min t1" you get 25 points per red.
In an "ELITE" solo wave (50+, not the 45s, there are even fewer) 41 enemies.
41 x 30 gives you exactly 1,230
So you have to take out ALL but 7 enemies with ONLY ONE ship!
And if you miss one, you have to make another wave. 🙂

These are 30 hostiles in a regular Solo wave ... 3 ships so that ship with the HORRIBLE crew will average 10 kills (give or take)
So you want us to do 4 waves ..... with a horrible crew with directives that you hold so precious as to give us 1 start every few days.

But for most, solo waves are difficult... So splitting them up makes more sense so smaller players don't lose overall power on their ships
