But yes all the CMs can do is pass information along. However, unfortunately we don't have access to other employees from the studios. The CM are the only people we have access to tell things are going wrong and to vent our frustrations. This company also has a big transparency and communication issue as well.
However, some of those past CMS should be criticized for saying things that are completely untrue

That was server 15 a few hours ago. My server has at least stabilized to where we can login and claim things without things getting eaten by the refinery, claims, and faction stores. Those stores are still super laggy, but only taking about 15 seconds to claim things versus several minutes and timing out.

Agreed but I think we can both agree that there has been enough "constructive criticism" for the CMs to pass along that Scopely knows that we, the player base, are very unhappy right now.
Remember the CMs are humans and make mistakes and are likely players themselves so they are likely just as frustrated with Scopely as the rest of us.

Well CMs are actual Scopely employees. They're not volunteers like the moderators. I'd actually be surprised if some of them actually played the game full-time. Typically employees at a gaming studio rarely play the game they work at, but maybe they do at this company.
But I will agree with you that people constantly @ pinging them at this point isn't very effective as they already know there's issues.

It does happen. However, let's say you're in IT, and something goes wrong. That could be the fault of Microsoft, Apple. Etc, or whatever software you run.
The difference here is this company codes and makes all of their software. So the buck stops with them. They patched the servers early this morning, and it broke something which tells me that patch wasn't properly tested before they made it live.
That has been the theme with this whole arc. Clearly things were tested thoroughly enough before putting things out to the public. Let's not even get into the fact that for years and years and years they have ignored a lot of the buggy code they have and not fixed so many things in this game. They keep releasing content on top of old buggy code that they have not properly fixed, and it's bound to collapse at some point

There hasn't been a single update in 4+ hours. I agree that Hammy has done a good job. Yes, an update saying "no update" is helpful. I've worked in enterprise customer management during major outages like this and communicating with the customer (the players here) even if there isn't a solid update is VERY useful. Also, some level of empathic message.

Just to give you a heads up. The points for killing Lost and Hirogen in the Threat Reduction Battlepass event are not being counted. I just finished killiing the Hirogen Hunter Elites for the EE event. I entered the system Sakari (53) needing a little over 4 mil points to complete the Battlepass as I was at 4.44 mil points. So I killed 8 level 54 Lost worth 514250 each. I am still sitting at the same points levels I started at.
