Someone in Scopely tested the new hostiles and AT assignments and thought nerfing the temporal artifacts would make the new content hard enough. Well, I have it all, and it's still a chore. Maybe I have to grind 45 minutes vs the 3 hours some people have had to, but still, anything over 15 minutes should be bad design.

I'm not sure what the solution is, and I'm not complaining about the rampant unchecked abuse of power going on in our server right now, but there are mechanisms that enabled and encouraged this behavior, and that needs to be fixed. Along with the other 42x10^1701 issues.

Income isn't usually the factor that wins. Whales have already nearly maxed out their FCs, and it's people who are hoarding underdeveloped FCs that have the real advantage.

Mat income isn't the issue there. When a whale buys a new FC, they have a place to dump the mats. To beat them, you need more than one unused FC. It'd help a lot if you bought the new FC too, but not necessary.

The concern is "high level people." The difference between a 51 and a 70 in terms of income is effectively nothing. If you want to spend 3x packs at 51, you'll have advantage over a 70 who only spends 1x pack.

No. Saving up to Max 3 FCs rank and levels doesn't equal up to points bought for ability like using rare FC tokens. Those score the most and you don't accumulate enough. Taking 3 FCs from rank 1 to 20, and level 1 to 90 lost the event cause I couldn't upgrade abilities and whales can buy packs for just that.

So my Janeway’s pocket watch is at tier 9. The pull in the DTI store is on a 24-hour cooldown, but pulling it doesn’t actually get me extra shards to refine down into extra disruptors. Was this intentional? I thought the change was to reduce this to once daily, not to take it out conpletely.

1. Go as high as you can with a full punchup PvE Crew. That will complete your Event fast.
2. Go full extraloot on crewing and go to 40s 50s 60s systems to grind your doublechest.

I love the events today, our alliance can run 100 epics if everyone would like to complete the Final Weapon, or 650 Xindi armadas which we get 1000 directives for per week. Then we can grind for hours to complete 2 or 3 of the Augment milestones and give up on the rest due to boredom or exhaustion, not to mention the repair costs. Finally, we can all run to the store and buy FC Khan if we'd like to complete that event. So.....I will be completing none of them, and that is becoming a much more regular happening these days. I guess the end is near.

Looking at assignment rep numbers. Botany Bay mastery gives me 62.5k rep. Single pull of 600k common (since I can really only hit L38s at Ops 41) gives me 13.5k rep. So .. if I grind over 30 hostiles a day of new L38 augment, it will only take me 116 days just to reach the next rep tier. A double pull you would think is about 1.5 mil? Nope, 4 mil....(Almost SIX single pulls)

Sorry, but the new update is the biggest piece of crap in a long time. The balancing is just awful.
If I can't shoot a single 42 as a 46, something is wrong.
And no Scopely employee has tested the missions themselves. The number of enemies is simply a joke. The time you have to invest for this is disproportionate to the paltry few resources you get for it.
And unlocking a mission that you can complete in months if you're lucky because it takes forever to get your reputation up to unlock the champions.
No thanks. Scopely. Set six. Urgently rework or look for another job. You're ruining the game.
