It'll trigger in any fight when your current hhp is 40% of starting hhp. In a slower near-peer fight, it's basically a guaranteed win since 35% shp regen is a lot. When the fights are short or bursty, then yeah, it won't be active that much.

I take my largest ships, hit each with Cerritos, then Titan, then start the first armada, hit Lorca’s Fist, speed up/start/repeat until dead. I can knock out about nine that way and I’m hitting my level. That’s at least where you should be, regardless of level.

And a lot of the loops you can spend 20minutes on and have enough stuff for several weeks.

My Rep is just shy of 30B for all 3 factions. I got the Faction daily event prime for free from NSEA, and got the DTI favour for the Message exchange.

I spend 20 minutes grinding rep a day and that gets me 10k credits and a few 100mil-1B rep.

lets do the math I get ~70 credits from 1 level 55 mu hostile and it need 900k credits I can hit 20 level 55 per run so that will take 643 runs and the will cost 300 entry vouchers and 190 common rift keys so total that will cost 192,900 entry vouchers and 122,170 common rift keys to get the 900k credits I need

The absolute fastest way to get refined common materials is to use Latinum for them. The game will offer you that option if you try to do a research or upgrade that needs common mats that you don’t have. The cost varies by the grade (G6 common is pricier than say G3.) I don’t recall G2 stuff costing a ton, but it’s been a long time. This only works for common grade. It won’t work for uncommon, rare, or epic grade mats.

Outside of that, the only way to score it fast would be via packs or rewards from say missions, etc.

Other than that, you just have the refinery.

Ironically, moving up to 50 or 51 would have cut that time by several months and gained a few extra tiers on your main ships at the time. Same thing applies to G5, jumping to 61 gets you a lot more stuff. Mid to late G6 is a lot better but still sucks.

It used to be great. Then they updated the main refinery tables a few years ago and didn't update the bonus refineries. Then released favors in Bajoran to up the output of the refinery and didn't connect the bonus to it. So before this moment the bonus refinery was basically setting your raw materials on fire for all the good it was doing.

The G5/G6 ones lined up, but they didn't go back and fix the old ones until now. Glad they did.

G4 is done, G6 is too new to care, so that leaves G5. Whenever those changes drop, I would personally expect G5 scrapping to be a part of that larger package.

Do you get iso from scrapping a Meridian? etc. It's a larger problem (and likely why hijacked can't be scrapped; who wants plutonium?).

That's tricky because it can't be rolled back, and someone does have to math out what that does to the overall game economy. I think that's also why they aren't addressing ship parts. Once you make G4 ships easy to build, you make them easy to scrap and thus increase the availability of G5 parts. There's a cascading effect to a lot of these changes.

And if G5 ships can be scrapped, then increasing G4 ship part availability will have an effect on G6 progression, even if minor.

And that’s the bad way to do it, going up a couple ops to get a far better ship (g4 to g5 is way different from g5 to g6) and actually increase rewards for prior gen and new gen will serve you far better than camping at the end of 50 with no real benefit.

Bad as in nerfing your own rewards in the same timeframe for “working on a couple researches” or whatever that would actually go faster and cheaper with the progression into solid 5* play

People have done spreadsheets showing the difference in growth a couple times now on other discords, pretty sure at least one has made its way onto here somewhere in that time

Or, jeebus forbid, the “I’m gonna build and max a g4 epic” reasoning, when even a talios on its way up to ops related upgrades will kill those easily, not to mention a t2/3 53 ship

Oh, I've seen them. And had the talk with a lot of people but I'm a completionist and collector. So far being well prepared has made going up easy. And I like easy and uncomplicated in games

Whether or not people camp in G4 doesn't negate that I believe it's gotten easy to get through, and now they're making it easier. Those are two separate things.

I went from ops 42 to 55 in just barely over a year. Could've gone even faster if I didn't park at a few levels to build up faction credits and whatnot. That kind of progress was nearly unheard of not too far in the past. There are multiple older folks in my alliance already on the cusp of G5 or breaking into it that aren't ready for it at all... but it's so easy to get there now, there they are. We just had a player hit 51 that doesn't even have a lvl 46 faction ship. So, like I say... here I thought it had already gotten too easy. Many folks are blowing through levels and aren't in any way prepared to be G5 and will end up hurting their alliances for leaderboards, tournaments, etc. It's already too easy and they're making it easier.

Exactly. I've seen mid 50s that failed where I could do the events easily. Rushing up can hurt a lot if you can't do what you need to be able to do up there
