My theory (no confirmation) is that whatever broke the alliances up months ago in the SLB was never really fixed. For a period of time, some alliances saw themselves in two brackets. There was a "fix" deployed for the next AT but it 1) didn't seem to always work and 2) made those alliances not get rewards at the end. I haven't seen things return to normal for those alliances since.
But this is 100% supposition. So far, there's been no official statement other than "they're working on it".

That said, I have about two years of standard speed-ups and I think I did most of that 600 days with 15 minute speed-ups (believe it or not) so they do provide them. It's just ... insane.
As painful as the speed-up situation in G6 is, it's at least more straightforward than the one in G5.

@heady moon I think it needs officially recognising something is wrong with Arenas. I would be tempted to bring them down. Its not just the lag but your latest patch has made it so the UI is randomly screwing up and you cant even see your ships.

imo, the real pain is the inconsistency. Voyager BPs are (at least) Adept, Armored Voyager Refit is Expert. NX-01 BPs are Master, Columbia NX-02 Refit is (at least) Adept. Make up your mind please Scopely.

the issue is that you can do this forever and not gain the rank needed for your pulls you want. i find that for most people thats a big turn off. or even worse be dropped in a lower rank for even trying.

Hi there! unfortunately it's hard to answer that question; the player base is split among a large number of servers & each one has different alliances. Good ways to try to find an alliance are to look at who owns territory (the multicolored area on the bottom left of the map) or alliances that are ranked highly on alliance leaderboards & request an invite from a member of their leadership team - some of them will specify a recruiting contact, otherwise I'd go with a commodore or admiral

I have been using that entire crew without issue. In fact, I just ran some last night. Your mileage may vary. I never did have any issues with that crew on those.

That was what was circulating, but even on debut, there were groups of us that had no issues. I don’t think they ever did nail down that it was exactly Toli for sure. With that being said, that’s why I caution that your mileage may vary.

I do know that I do still see scattered reports of lost directives here and there. I’ve not lost any of either type. It’s a weirdly sporadic bug that seems to plague some people more than others despite identical crewing

I get the frustration, but let’s take a step back here. Nobody is saying you never lost directives or invalidating your experience. We are just saying that there were lots of people who were using and still using Toli without issue, thus answering your question.
If you run more and lose directives, file a ticket. Support is much more aware of this than they were when the content first launched. They generally are quite responsive, but if there are issues after speaking with them, you can reach out and we can see if the CMs can help.

i get it the slowdown starts around t11 but even with the loot prime because the way its structured wont give you daily max pulls. only once you hit t15 on both the research and the prime will you be able to do daily max pulls again.

Even without the loot prime, using a loot crew on Rev armadas is almost entirely pointless. The Rev research is so massive that the loot crews are just washed out.

Using a loot crew would be a terrible idea for people still trying to tier the ship. They'd be better using normal crews and trying to punch up. If you're maxed Rev and hitting lvl70s for fun then sure use a loot crew not that it'll make any meaningful difference in loot acquisition.

As far as the sourcing, I don’t see it changing since that’s one of their pulls to get people to shoot for master rank in alliance tournaments

@solemn plaza while the loot bonus from a loot crew pales in comparison to the bonus from the research I will absolutely agree 💯, for those optimizing loot WITHOUT busting out the CC to buy the prime ... every little bit helps ... and furthermore ... for those helping others to "punch up" on Poly's... especially because unfortunately not every Alliance Member takes the time to research crewing , knowing if a bug is FIXED and a Crew is SAFE to use or if someone shows up with that crew and then gets "locked out" because they showed up with it .... knowledge WORTH knowing

That’s why I’m agreeing with you. It probably won’t change. Since it started off as a pay to obtain and level artifact, they basically just changed the sourcing from that to another clamped down sourcing mechanic (master rank AT with a cool down.)

Punch ups on Polys means needing people in bigger ships which will massively skew the loot distribution so even with the loot crew you'll get basically nothing. 90% of Poly loot comes from the starter chests. You'd be better of telling your people getting carried to use a crew to boost other people's crews or to maximize thier survivability so they can hit more than 1 armada per repair (especially if you're carrying them in a system they've had to be ripped to)

the loot in general for doing polys is just not really good. it is a big opportunity though to carry people because the starter chests tend to be huge. like for 70s the total loot is like 600k but the chest is like 8 mil. my alliance mate and i usually do service for our lower ops members. i tend to be the primary faceblocker for those

im dropping 200 tril iso dmg shots and its 50/50 if i can survive more than 2 polys before repairs. i dont mind it, the repair costs arent brutal and we are moving people up the tiers on their revenants which is what matters
