I have been randomly attacked 3-4 times in the past week whilst I was offline for 6+ hours...
But, to be honest, in all cases, I applied logic like a Vulcan and looked at all the variables before coming to a conclusion - only time it was even remotely unfair was the time I was mining 2* Raw Isogen for a Surveyor event for the Officer Flash Battle Pass. Even then, post-destruction/post-attack, I depleted the spot and got the points, so didn't really matter.
