No. Depending upon on how quick you move through Ops, aim for T9 for the T14 Cube. If you think you can push to 66 & T9 G6 rare using just G5 epics, that can pay off. Harder, but easier on the mats

Another feedback is that you REALLY need a party chat for this. For waves you can get away with it but for these you really should spawn a "party chat" tab when you go in with a public squad. A party chat is a 1996 feature that this game still does not have.

At that point you should be dual faction at least TBH. That way you have credits for the warships, cloaks and can use your second faction to get the Nova etc

Dominion is better once you get emerald conclave up. It gives double rewards for 1 turn in.

I spent like 15k catching up to the top players on 700. At the end of 50-60 ascension i had literally nothing to do. For over 2 months. It wasn't worth it to speed up.
I had all research done, all buildings maxed. It was just dailies.
So taking it slow in 60-70 bracket
I couldn't do power up events, it was that bad.
