This game is a marathon, not a sprint, it's best you learn this before investing too much of your time, if you're looking for quick progression that changes your game dramatically, you will need a fat bank roll or a diff game.

Also, I've been checking ships at 28, and I am not sure why people are so amazed by Saladin. It has only 2 weapons, one of them shots every 3 turns. That makes it terrible for crews that need to maintain hull breach or burning (or other effects that trigger with hits). Is it because Saladin gets huge hull and shield comparing to other ships at 28 ?

Any 28 ship will carry you to the 34 epic no problem. dont get hung up on which one to much. research will make them strong (they gain extra bonuses for faction research (shield/hull/damage etc)).

Remember when building a ship that you dont get the cloak for free, it also needs bought seperately from the faction store.

Yes, you get a kill 1 and kill 3 ships for the cloaking daily. The daily is easy to do as long as you dont level to fast without the research for damage (am 40 and using a d3 to do cloak dailies still as its cheaper). The daily may not show up until the day after you unlock the cloak refit (needs unlocking in refits once you have all shards).

For ships my mats efficiency is only like 800%, but my parts efficiency is like 1700% 😂
