for example, hitting gorn shows 5 pts per same level kill, 8 pts per +1 level kill (i.e. level 43 gorn) and so on

yeah it's 1600 divided by the points per kill for the level you're aiming for.

basically, you can hit easier ones with multiple ships to "save time" but it's a harder grind for sure.

Both views have value, and it mostly boils down to what other officers you've got, and what tiers they are at.

Once you have EPic, it's going to pretty much always be EPic, Ed, Janeway, unless you want to squeeze out a bit more volatile, in which case you could run 5 over Janeway. But since Gorn only take iso dmg, you want as much of it as you can get to stretch things out. You'll eventually have a big-enough grinder that you can easily punch up and rake in the Volatile. Evis eventually gets enough loot bonus that loot crew is just a bit of noise, so how long you grind becomes king

It depends on what ops you're at, and what rank you've managed to achieve, if any. For example you only need to reach Gold 1 to get the G6 favour and one of the Premium dust pulls. If you're not G6, Gold 3 or 4 is enough

Perhaps when some improvements are done, you can keep the comp chest still on, but open arena so people can test it out if it works better (pvp crowd will most probably jump in) and that way people who need to try ranking up would get their opportunity - but overall less people would participate, as people would have their guaranteed loot chest, which might be beneficial for testing it out on production?

I'm firmly of the view that if we'd had incremental changes to arena to try to improve things, we wouldn't have had the mess that we had on monday, and everyone would have been a lot happier. It's the same argument with Alliance Tournaments and the issues there. Keep it running, so small changes can be assessed, and people are still given the opportunity to engage with it if they choose, rather than taking it down, making a bunch of changes that the team clearly don't have the facilities to load test in a comparable way to the live servers, and then being surprised when things fall apart.

The problem was that i killed that hostile didnt get nothing ran out of time and still wasnt able to do anything else cause the game registered it as still running trial

I don’t understand how the hell they can give eu 405 ascension and not eu 406… but were supposed to merge in a few days. What a complete joke. Not only that doing it after TT season has started which puts 406 at a massive disadvantage. Even if it’s reset everyone has lost rss. Then giving us (merged 405 server) incursions 2 days after the merge… are they trying to make us all quit the game or something?!? It’s truly sad. You ask Scopley to put your account up in layup for you don’t have to worry about it. A person like me told Scopley going through a heart surgery. After surgery I have a stroke. It’s been now 4 weeks. My friends tell me I still see your base. If it wasn’t for my wife to see a message of my shield is down and my base is hit. I would have lost 250 trillion in RS. So sad they never follow through with there promises.
