it's like burring someone in a hole, but saying the dirt is organic. there is just a sea of quantity and a thimble of quality. hopefully they start getting more reduction in the game and less expansion. I still think when they put a new ship in, have it pull from a second loot table. so people can use the ship to complete two grinds at once. so say new ship hits mirror. you get a mirror box and the new loop box. win win there.

Gorn refinery was your ticket to rare 4 star ship parts, particularly low in supply for interceptors to allow you to max out Pilums so you could scrap to max your Rotty. There is even uses in the low tier refines

Janeway Doc EData is usual grind crew but… I’ve started to find Janeway Doc Nesmith can be better in a number of cases.

Also SNW crew hitting the right ship can help a lot on big g6 hostiles (66+) for when you want to really hit up.

Well on paper, seems the new anti bs crew is the weakest of the sets. BD on the 2 rares only proc if your ship doesnt have a state which never will happen as PvP has been based on giving your opponent a state

Throw in a maxed and scrapped D3 + legionary, and you get +1 refine for each (4 a pop) and enough left over to get an amalgam to 100 warp range for lols

My G3 one is crystal and takes 15 minutes to drain a 50k G3 node now, so technically I’ve done it in five or ten minutes or so, and my G4 ones are 125k and take me an hour if you include sending my other miner once it’s finished crystal to mine the 25k of each type that isn’t done on the first node.

Like i said, i mine my daily 35+k of all three materials for the faction missions, simultanously while i'm at work and can't do much ingame anyway, so i get my missions done, get supplies to refine and don't have to really worry about not gaining stuff because someone went rogueovernight and shot upc ships

And yes, only having one Antares, two Horizons and the Amalgam for 'default materials' i seem to mine at a glacial pace even with mining research and a dedicated crew that brings my Antares to 90min for 45k gas
