equip it with a speed crew to traverse MU quicker for mining
I only use it to kill Omega hostiles, since mining for Trellium-A and Trellium-D is a lot quicker and less tedious than killing the hostiles for it
There's 4 options for crewing (for fighting) in my opinion:
A speed crew like Ent-E Riker + Synergy + Kuron
A survivability crew like Janeway + Torres + Doctor
A loot crew like Ent-E Picard + Ent-E Data + 5
A mix of all those crews, like Janeway + Torres + Kuron for survivability and speed. Or Ent-E Picard + Ent-E Data + Kuron

The hostiles give guaranteed chests, it's up to you to figure out if you want more chests or more regular loot.
Just don't underestimate the chests, early on they accounted for more than 70% of my loot

Im developer. I play this game for over 5 years.
This issues they are having are no longer programmers faults. It is managements. They push for insane 1 month cycle and they force it on the dev team. It is money, money, sell, sell... You cannot run any game efficient like that. I'm kind impressed with programming team at Digit.
With multiple years of running this, I do not expect that they have a lot day one people on the team. This makes fixing of old shortcuts even harder.
On top of this, they run the game on Unity and limits their option on performance fixes A LOT.
Im that the point that it is what it is and it will run as long as it runs... I do not get angry on bugs and fails

I've progressed from developer to syadmin to DBA to Project Manager.

In the end the product as a whole has severe issues and a lack of quality.
It doesn't matter (to the customer) who is reasonable for this - and it's a black box to us.

Everyone in IT knows the problems of not getting time and resource needed to finish their tasks.

But STFC has serious issues that need to be adressed.
How much time (e.g. money) has already been wasted for working around the core performance issues? Performance tuning specialists would give them a idea of root causes of the slowdowns if they don't already know them.

For me it looks like STFC made a big step towards end-of-life this year and keeps on accelerating.

I does feel like they take forward steps and stumble backwards around the same amount, but there is still at least a faint whiff of someone trying to do good for us.

Not sure how you can call this balanced - this year was horrible.

• quantity over everything
• emergency-maintenance after maintenances
• canceled ongoing events,
• exceptionally more greed in spending events
• more spend demanding overall.
• chaotic Alliance tournaments (still lots of trouble, wrong rankings)
• new content particullary designed for OPS40 (tons to do at OPs40) while forgetting late game content
• Vindicator, Eviscerator as mostly useless niche ships only important because of their refineries
• LSD Trip Mirror and Mirror Waves
• Ships glitching harder, the faster they are. Orders (attack) seem not to be executed or are not executed, 5 second fights last far longer depending on server side performance
• Arena matchmaking is a bad joke, Directives per kill do not fit description, when 2 players try to start the same solo, the losing player has a idle start button until the solo is finished and so on
• Vindicator tiering up is ultra slow and the ship becomes useless for OPS 53+ for a long time
• War Chamber Events are rare or cancelled - who knows?
• Communication is a mess. No info on how long the alliance tournament store will be open after tournament ends.

While all the above is true, there’s more simple issues making the game frustrating.

1. The lag brought upon whatever “optimizations” and emergency fixes on said optimizations
2. The freezes on screen switches and crashes.
   The lag now forces yet another restart sometimes with ships showing stuck in warp when arriving somewhere.

Wouldn’t kill the developers to have a more mellow officer rerun month (Voyager ones except Tuvok would be great) while fixing bugs for a month.

Back in the day, it was more worth to skip the ops26 ship than skip the ops28 one
Then you can skip the ops32 ship and go for the g3 epic like an Enterprise
if you completely hold off on spending resources you'll hinder your day to day gameplay and not have good research to use your Enterprise properly

Don't forget to equip it with Kirk for its ship ability
For Q Trials, maybe try to do a different type of Q trial (if you were working on Battleships, switch to Explorers for example)

1 - This is during a territory season (which started last week).
2 - We are scheduled to meet server 114 during Incursions at the end of this month.
(Oddly enough the server we are merging with has a bye, which is kinda true as it wont exist then any more).
