Arenas are undoable for many players. If you can't get 5 players within your level range on at the same time AND five other players from an alliance are also on then you queue endlessly and no battle. It's been about 5 hours for us and not a single battle. A few of our lower level players were able to try it and they were steam rolled as they were all near same level and the other alliance had players 5-7 levels higher.

This is an often used phrase on occasion, but arenas are very much a non-starter dead on arrival.

Could be my elitism speaking, but if you can't kill everything up to W10, just put on maximum impulse speed crews like Klaa + synergy or Ent Riker or something and just kill the surveys until W10 to actually help the rest of the team. If you die on first wave, you just died for nothing

How does treasury rewards (especially latinum) increase in number? I am at ops 28, my treasury is at level 25 and I get 5950 latinum offered from it. My friend is ops 23, treasury 23 and he gets the same amount, but our other friend is level 32 and he gets 2.5 million latinum dropped from treasury. It just confuses us how come his drops are so high with just a few level difference than ours? Can someone explain it?

What I learned from my friend and this community is that you don't need to put officers on your ship seeing their strength. Look at their abilities. Last longer, if you have some below deck crew, use them to get some additional perks added to your ship, get the researches done. You will handle hostiles just fine.

Here is a tip: if it's a mission ship and you can't defeat it, don't try to duel it. Take two ships. Park right beside the hostile. Use the relatively weaker ship to attack that hostile first. Your ship will die, yes. But before dying it will deplete the shields of the hostile which will take some time to regenerate. As soon as the first ship dies, select your stronger second ship and attack the hostile ship. You will be able to beat it easily due the lack of shield health it has at that moment.

Depends on your Mirror Universe refinery area and your level. There's Mirror Refinery -> Trellium-A and Mirror Refinery -> Trellium-D. You need to mine enough of those resources to get max pulls, then you can do the pulls in the Liquid Trellium-D store, which lets you get the dust to do the Mirror Universe research.

Also, you can always let the timer run out. You will get kicked out of mirror space, but wont lose your cargo.

They're relatively easy to kill, and if you're at risk, you can hunt (with the battle triangle is easiest) and keep killing until you are out of time. If you're on a ship with low cargo, just keep killing. Your big loot is probably going to come from the chests that pvp'ers can't steal.

With Arena? Apparently a lot of lag in the latter half of the event and matching was poor, favoring whales.

A lot of complaints on the +-7 ops levels preventing small alliances from playing in the new content.

With the lag, there were some people that couldn't join or crashed out.

But other than that, it seemed to work as designed.

To be honest, my squad was mostly low level and mid level 40s, and we kept being placed against 50s,but we were winning alot. They were able to kill us but there is so much extra strategy involved we were still able to secure wins. For example a level 52 slowly following a talios to the other side of the system guaranteed he wasn't killing us.

Also faced high level players that knew good strategies, but I felt their win didn't have to do with their power, as much as it did with how they were playing and securing objectives.

Why? Play smarter - seen plenty of matches people would have flounced from but got won by the smaller team because they didn’t believe that power was the advantage.

Kronos knowing that he couldn’t win the fight against the bigger player that was hosting the group armada but that by suiciding on him he would stop him getting there in time

I'm kicking in an open door when I say both the 8 hour time limit and the timing of ssid 8 hours was poorly chosen. It's also bad you basically need specific starters to avoid getting a g5 vs a g6 team. If they wanted a real arena they could just use other games systems with preset ships for various roles. With yesterday's run many couldn't or wouldn't participate in the run. Heck sole people would need to quit their alliance as there are too few people in their ops range.

And I get ypu saying feedback is important but scopely 2024 has been a masterclass in ignoring player feedback and instead pushing monetization to even more absurd degrees
