That this bug is still a thing and that the support teams don’t have a standing, “accept it, it happens, give them tokens” is both astonishing given the impact and unsurprising given the massively declining activity levels.

People are usually reasonably understanding that things go wrong as long as you deal with those things properly.

Lately things are taking too long to be dealt with and there’s too much ostriching.

Spoiler alert; I logged in to see I had one more hour of shield left and I’d been looted three hours previous. Those two statements are incompatible and that is the client not being synced after the shield applies. This isn’t a new issue!

You know what really rankles with players? Players buying expensive packs, having those contents taken due to a bug that’s been around for years and then support telling them to jog on.

Especially when you tell Xsolla that you can’t have a refund because you’ve used the contents. No, your bugs let the contents get taken.

The battlepass gave tournament credits, the store open is for the qualifier. When the regular tournament store is open, you'll be able to use the credits, not before then. The qualifier store is still open because people still haven't received their qualifier rewards, it will be closing on sunday and extended/reopened once the rewards are finally sent out.

You can get the unbuffed number from stfc.space. You can get the buffed number by looking at your ship stats. That gives you your current buff %. Then you plug your FT number into the Scopely math and get depressed at the small increase.

But there's no calculation for X amount of hull = Y amount of ship power.

So my server 95 has a big problem. All the new players with new baby voyagers (warp 30) are unable to summon any species 8472 as ALL of the lower delta systems made for that have error 200 since last November without it being fixed. During incursions even the opposing server noticed and felt bad for us. I have myself put in many tickets since last November on my behalf and now on my teammates behalf. Could put him in event store for those that haven't got him only. There are ways to get Tal out there and get more people involved in incursion without letting people t2 Tal. That’s only regular lat, and it’s usually that it doesn’t change the shiny/not-shiny when the node gets reset unless you restart the game. Clat at least to my eyes has no visible difference between the two nodes.

At the end of this invasion I had just under 200k eye patches. Having already bought ship bps, I have enough patches to finish the ship with spares to spend on other things, moving forward with invasions all the extra loot will go towards other things, plus it means I don't have to try anymore if I don't want to or have the time.

Ok. Just went back to check some stuff. Pre the $1000 efficiency research, doing T11 to T12 on a Kelvin would have set you back $6600 roughly. Nowadays you can buy a Kelvin and go T1-T12 for less than that.

That depends on the level you are taking it from to what you are taking it to. Taking a kelvin from tier 1 to tier 2 is a big difference from taking a kelvin from tier 11 to tier 12….

With all the sourcing for ship parts now and all the new efficiency research the Paywall for G4/G5 ships is significantly less than it was even a year ago. I.E $1000 research plus $200-$500 of ship packs vs $6600 on just ship packs.

The efficiency researches are solely there to make you feel good about your purchase… by the time you get to the point where you benefit from those researches, you have already moved past the need for them. Same concept for the reasoning behind all of the new officers. By the time you have gotten (let’s say SNW crew) the o the point where they start to become useful, scopely introduces “new officers” that pretty much make the old ones obsolete (i.e. they move to he proverbial “paywall”) it’s part of their long term “growth” model and how they fleece players of their money…. Same concept with iPhones…. Planned obsolescence…

If you're in the group of people spending $1000 on research the MU research is also really good for the efficiency. Probably more expensive than the prime stuff though.

Plus they max out at ops 56, and I'm sure the G5 rares and G5 epics upgrade cost would be significantly affected by the research....

Sure, for those that are already spending the money to get into the higher g6 levels; but for the average player (which I believe is mid 40’s), by the time they get to the point where they would benefit from having that research in the g6 economy, scopely will have moved the “paywall” to g7 or g8 (it the game lasts that long)

Even having the research at lvl1 (which you can do for free really easily) you're still getting the benefit from it, even if it's only a slight decrease in costs, any reduction is cost is openly welcomed.
