The hype which was built before gorn release fell flat in the first 20 minutes of the arc

Eviscerator is a really good ship though. For the loop with good rss, for its refinery and fast jumping from system to system. And I use the rift often too. Couldn't imagine playing without it after getting it.

During release, it was quoted as a 5min grind which didn't happen until month 2 when Archer was released but the favors are great. That was a slight whiff. For Gorn the refinery is good but the whole ship thing overshadows it either due to a typo for f2p sourcing it or how the rift ability worked. The Protector saves MU loop cause it's easier to set out a miner than to do a dedicated 20-30min grind every day. The arcs this year aren't bad just they all missed the mark in ways that's hard to ignore

That has made lower ops hurrying beyond their power and research to get there. For example we have ops 39 with 13,5M power now anxious after noticing he can't ascend without a G3E...

And believe me we try to advice and provide examples on why they shouldn't hurry that much. But they just don't listen. And sad part is that because they often aren't big spenders they are likely to quit the game after ascending when they realize how big trouble they are in.

the 2 x ships for £99, or 1 x £49 was amazing value last month, just a shame it was all loop grind ships. shame there wasn't any iap bundles for players without g3 epics within a certain ops bracket. i'm sure they could have targeted something. i'd have happily spent £99 on the missing enty shards and another ship. lost out on that and any subsequent spending apart from the cheapo BP 🙈

Like said, against larger spenders he doesn't have a chance (with high rank M Data / MU). But he has gotten nice wins against one ops 50 who spends over 10k€ / year because he uses NX for PvP

i still say level 20 for a pvp f2p. you get a long term toon. you get a longer pvp range. longer playability, with a never ending influx of alts that wont ever bother getting out of your range. sure you get overpowered a bit, but thats fun! unlike 19 where you cam sit in NS at max and plow everyone over ever. boring!

So it could definitely be way better. Like how group of smaller ships have zero chance of defeating a higher bracket ship if let's say more than 300% power difference. (Assuming identical level crews.)

ok heres the issue with that loot crew unless your overpowered for the system your in can be opposite the effct youre looking for. the better damage crew lets you last longer to get more loot as the loot crew has no damage properties and you die getting less loot THINKING your getting more. My guess is people weren’t paying for it like they’d hoped when they released it after finding out how level locked it is, so they chose to give everyone the standard base cube for free in the hopes it would spur people into buying the upgrade packs in order to level it accordingly

It’s level/tier locked. You can’t jump it up til you go through a whole bunch of other hoops - and that fact kinda negates the fact that it was so much more powerful out of the box when they first dropped it. I got it way back when they released it, I think I was a level somewhere in the high 20’s. It was far stronger than any other ship I had for a solid 2-4 months. I’m a lvl 37 now, and the cube is still just at tier 3, and I need to hit level 39 I thing before I can tier it again. At the moment it’s still my most powerful battleship, but that will change once I am finally able to get the Agur. It collected dust for a while when I was in the low 30’s ops levels b/c i ended up being able to level my legionary to a point where it passed the strength of the cube and so I relied on it more at that time. But once I reached the ops level where I could tier the cube finally, it took the main battleship slot away from the legionary because even with my legionary maxed, the cube is still stronger (not by much but by enough)

Generously calculated, the old one had 50% more. The points per week are exactly the same as before. With currently 20 levels, did it used to be 30 or were the steps further apart?

the chance of a crit hit and crit damage are now immediately written on the ship in % and therefore there is an illusion power)
and if you put Freeman on the ship, he will write what kind of isolating damag you have %

Not just that if you have freeman or other iso damage officer it also gets added even account for anything that multiples your weapon shots thus more damage and total power
