Not sure I understand why this is a bad time for the game. I know it has lots of bugs and problems, but that's always been the case. 😄 Why is now worse than any other time in stfc? Not saying it isn't, just wondering why you think its a bad time.

As far as gaslighting... you should always take anything said by a paid representative with a grain of salt. But gaslighting means something very different. They are speaking positively of their company's product. Gaslighting is "a form of psychological abuse where a person causes someone to question their sanity, memories, or perception of reality". fwiw, now that spend events in g5 have their own bracket (FINALLY!!) g5 has been as fun as g4 was for me.
Honestly, it seems fairly obvious they will improve the economy of the 2nd last g(x) when a new one comes out, and it seems the best place to be for low/non spenders. g4 was fun when g5 came out and the ds9 arc made the g4 refinery and economy way better, and now g5 is fun with g6 being out (and having its own bracket).

I won't go to g6 until g7 is out AND has its own bracket. Learned my lession by going to g5 a few months too early.

This game works with any intellectual property. People often forget Scopely isn't a gaming company, they are a marketing company. They acquire games made by independent developers, go into massive debt to get rights to IPs and apply them to the games. They put themselves so far into debt a couple years ago, they couldn't get out and had to sell the company to the Saudi government

it doesn't matter what the new arc is there will be a few hundred people complaining that they are releasing new content and not fixing bugs. They have teams of artists, story writers, arc writers, and coders. Are they going to fire 3/4 of their staff just so they can have a few months of no new revenue and just fix some bugs? Don't be ridiculous. The most we can hope for is they hire a few more coders who can focus on bug fixes but even then with a game this big that is going to be hard to fix anything without breaking 4 other t hings.

What STFC calls the kehera was a Tellerite cruiser in ST:E and is fairly close to what was seen on screen. There a couple others mentioned by name but the in game designs are slightly different since Sopley technically did not have full ST:E IP access at the time.

How about a cross-over event with literally any IP that is not requiring as a basic assumption parody of Trek and mocking it's fanbase? Any one? There are over a dozen Paramount IPs that would work, and hundreds more which could have with, several with ready-made plotlines in comics and novels ready to be brought into the game....
