You can grind them with max forti using a t4 53 along with a good metreon warhead. I use snw pike snw una e-data with Paris, Hugh, Torres below decks. Can get a little over 50 per hull. Without boosts each of them takes out around 10m hull on my Corvus, but the boosts reduce fights from 10-11 rounds to 2-3 rounds.

Waves (old ones and new ones) are easy if you have the time to coordinate. And get the right alliance members to join. Part of the problem is the game relies on a lot of people playing on the go/ at work .. so they can't coordinate or focus on waves. Kind of like MU takes focus.

Not so much 'easy', but scaled to the current max level in the game. As a low 40's level player, it is by no means easy, but also I understand that since normal waves are supposed to be start in the upper 30's, and also be challenging up into the 60's, there has to be a point where I can't complete them. Mirror waves take this a step further as the upper levels get more powerful. I can live through about 6-7 waves on the original ones, and only 3 on the mirror waves. That seems about right for a feature that is made to challenge the higher level players also.

I will say they made a mistake with the levels on Wave hostiles. They list their level, but the level has no correlation to actual game. So the levels are meaningless. Bad game design on that part.

well, waves are just Hostiles Spawn, kill Hostiles before they reach destination. This is the most simple and boring iteration of a Wave Defense any game has ever done.

Usually Wave defense have mechanics like Defense Towers to upgrade, friendly NPC Units etc. Something to provide something to do and not totally rely on ship power.

Syn XP and the Conversion to Regular are arguably the only things worthy to buy.
Field Repairs on paper could be nice, but require too much time to collect and too much credit to be worth it, even if i wouldnt be past those ships i wouldnt stand the grind needed for those. Agony Booth .. yeah good luck upgrading another FT with very tight Currency, also considering you need max Rep.
Not the worst FT, but surely wont miss it either.

I think thats part of the issue, they've effectively replaced the normal officer based ones. Which is leading to more frustration on the player side (espeically the smaller folks) who struggle to get the first milestones on the Quantum ones.

Wasn’t exactly hearing anyone beg for new harder waves, but while we are at it, having Texas class ships show up in 40 waves with a minimum power of the ones in 50+ monaveen grinding systems is not 40 friendly. Especially as monaveen tier ups are locked up till 51
