Ah if it's 2 peeps they can pretty much lock you in place with the way scopely lag works , but I would keep trying to move to a lv 19 or below system , shields will work there if you can manage to press the 4 buttons needed before their next attack hits

You can play however you want, but there are consequences for certain playstyles. You can play solo but you miss out on the benefits of an alliance, you can be a rogue but you miss out on the benefits of not having to watch over your shoulder every minute.

Don’t heal all ships leave one dead & when they attack, repair immediately & place a second ship in repair ready for the next hit (if you’re quick enough, it’s fairly easy to repair a ship & station between each attack, very effective at preventing a raid

The trick is repair while attack in progress👍🏻

I bought the Ablative Armor FT Unlock but did not actually get it. It only gave me the base level. While equipping it, it said part was converted to some credits. I was so taken aback at not getting exactly what I paid $9.99 USD for, I don't recall what type of credits of the many there are in the game. Nothing in the details said anything about requirements or conditions or anything about not getting the FULL UNLOCK of the Ablative Armor. Pretty sure there's a violation of implied warranty and contract law there, absent listing of any qualifiers and conditions required to get the full product as listed and paid for. The Orion Seismic Charges FT Unlock has the same lack of any limitations in the details.

@heady moon can you please have scopley revisit the aquatic hostiles. Out of 50 xindi trips to kill just aquatic battleships only 3 were 5+ kills in a row. Only 1 was 8, one was 7 and one was 5. The rest are below that with most being 2.5 per trip. In fact, the last 10 trips have netted a total of 2 kills. That is no where near a 30% failure rate. Randoms aside, the chances of this occurring is .00017% chance based off your numbers. Which is statistically a 0% chance of happening. True, I could be 1 out of a billion odds but I am not the only one with this type of success with Aquatics. Most players have a much higher than 30% chance of failure. In fact here a couple of screenshots to show the epic failure rates.

I agree, but probabilities, over time, will average out. And them claiming a 30% chance would average out giving more and more attempts. I would say the average deathshot is about 75%, not 30%. Granted, I am 1 players experience but from talking to my alliance and others, that is not far off from the norm. A few have had big rows of kills but the average kill is not above 4 in a row.

Luck is not a real thing, that is what people use to describe outcomes they like or don't like. Logic and probabilities and statistics doesn't matter if you try and bring luck in. When Aquatics first came out and i said something, people argued there was not a large enough sample size, which could have been valid. But as the sample size grew, the lack of changes in the probability has proven that is not true.

I did move up in size because out of 100+ deaths, every deathshot is round 1. It has never occured passed that. Maybe it is doing a calculation behind the scenes to see if a deathshot would occur in a later round and just having it activate turn 1 instead, and if that were the case, the numbers might be closer to the current probabilities, but I used to hunt just the 40's and had the same results with kills in the 2/3 round range so it became pointless to not take advantage of more loot for the same lose chances. I am a nerd, I run the numbers and make the calculations. I am not such a big nerd that I have kept and screenshot and battlelog for every death but I have enough to justify my stance that their description is inaccurate.

The data collection method should tally killshots only after you've visually checked the battle logs to see which gun is killing you. Only the 7b gun is the 30% death ray. All other killshots are from the 4th gun, and dying to it is a result of insufficient stats.

I'm unsure if you can run waves yet but when you can dolamide should be your priority as it'll greatly reduce how many mats/parts you need to upgrade ships. Dolamide can be used for other primes too but I find the efficiëncy primes to have the most enduring effect

I used to play a game like that many years ago. So this model isn't really unknown to me. Wasted years grinding things there just to have this "fun time with friends" which was a waste considering better things existed. I was lucky that I was one of the few early ones to move on and tried new games instead. Friends remained friends though, nothing changed that. Over the years I had to see many unfair things my old game was doing to the dedicated players to shave away a nickel here, a dime there. seeing that from disassociate point of view and seeing my friends slaving up for a faulty product while their frustration go through the roof, it was just sad. By now you get it what I am talking about. Just don't really want to go through all that again. Don't misunderstand me though, I like the stories in stfc, ships, some fights, some event dynamics and especially the more mature community than other games. The ship itself it going to be great for the refinery once you can get it built up.. It has tons os good crap.. Just more grind

have to get it to tier 10 to get rare G5 parts, but it will pay rare G4 and G5

Until you get the ships if you have a friend who can just for farm a ton of apex and let you grab his opc it would make it easier to just pull parts each day till you get the ship

Or if you are a pirate just keep an eye on the zone and go take it by force 😛

I stopped the game because its not so friendly for free to play players; the rules are so lame; getting gas so lame; getting everything is very slow; the real power doesn’t match up with your base power; to unlock ships like stella you need a lot to even get it unlocked; if you have finally the shards to get it you are stuck with that; overal not a friendly game for F2P players; was in for a long time like 3 years; in the beginning it was nice because you didn’t need a lot to grow fast; the more you get higher in lvl the longer it takes to get the things you need; and of course that OCP crap so lame; thats because the game doesn’t give a lot to begin with; and i like star trek a lot seen all the series and movies; but this game is very disappointing to play; only money players grow fast; if you ask me thats the problem with all the so called free games; its not that I don’t have the money for it; its because I don’t like to spend online fake power for real money; and the things you get back for it is nothing ad all; so i wish all of you the best;

I can easily kill 20 lv 50-52freebooters with a g3 epic but still can only do like 5 gorn without the ship, so no they are not easier than freebooters, everything is just easy for you because of ops 😁and that's okay 👍

Yeah I saw that too , but atleast the price doesn't increase until you get the ship xD but yeah it's possible, I did it day 1 and it took me like 2.5 hours , never did it again 😆

I think for people without the ship, it's a nice bonus for doing the gorn for the other iso pulls... just an occasional drip in

I think for the difference in grind speed with/without the ship... probably not worth the time to do it purposefully until you have the ship, IMO
