Cerri doesn't have guaranteed income, evi does. It's difficult to compare the two, since we're just starting evi's and the cerri is finished for many players. I'd say that a beginning cerri player will have worse officer shard income than the evi, but the cerri's picks up by the time you finish it. Evi has significantly more than just one shard/pull at even T1.

I had an issue were one of the beginning missions that give the klingon miner as a reward kept giving me the reward and on my end it showed me collecting shards. I maxed him only for the game to finally crash. When I reset the game he was back to where he was before the mission glitched.

So it must be client to server communication error that you will just have to hope resolves itself

The cube's are for you to " Buy" the older Arc ones, the canister is used to buy the current one's/ others

I finally got a G6 Minerva.. tier 2 now and its still performing like 💩. In addition the repair cost is extortiante. And the cherry on top is G5 epics wipe the floor with the Minerva at every pvp battle. Why did Scopely drop the ball on G6 uncommons? I remember when I got a kelvin; no way an augur would come close to killing it. Or when I got a corvus, the pilum was immediatly obselete. I am still using my G5 epic because the G6 uncommon is complete 💩. 500 m power in difference but the performance is worse in every category; its nonsensical. Can I get a refund? 🥲

it is the change in fireing patterns. they try to go away from the round 1 kills by lowering the intial damage and upgrading everything else... but the older ships still have it and this makes em equal

Minerva dealing insane amount of dmg... it can kill 65 hostiles in one round, that's not the problem. somehow getting big amount of dmg... in G5 world if you kill the biggest hostile in one round you can kill 1000s because you don't get big dmg, I guess g6 hostiles different, they hurt alot and ratio is not the same ratio with ship's hull and hostile dmg.

I think, we need a new grinding crew for g6 hostiles. mbenga is a disappointment, will see how swn kirk works.

I am in a software business, I am not defending Scopely they are awful but bugs happens and users tend to break things more than developers and QA teams.
Developer who write the actual code, can't see what's wrong because they test things as how it suppose to be. I bet it's working on their computers flawlessly.
QA teams, follow the instructions. Do this and expect that and report back.
Main problem of this game is the game being cross platform which one code base and works on all platforms. there are 100s if not 1000s different devices out there. not easy to keep up with all of those.

We are unlucky because we are living in a world depends on consuming stuff. If there is nothing new, no penetration = no profit. Therefore release cycle is brutal. not having a beta run is the mother of all problems.

up to 64, yes dailies doable with t6-7 g5 ships. you need 50 points for killing dailies, if you kill hostiles with the same level of your ops you get 1 point, if you kill +1 level hostiles you get 2 points.
I kill enough for 20 with Minerva then switch to g5

Yeah, I'm not so much having sympathy for the CCs so much as I hold Scopely responsible for them. If they're giving them info and material for these previews, and they do, then they've gotta take responsibility for the content of it. It's kind of just paid in-kind advertising.
I've been in that position with a few things in the RTS space, and those companies are usually very clear on what you can and can't say or reveal.

And while I know they can get things wrong or maybe mishear, like the Spatial Rip level lock thing... I strongly suspect someone did tell them there was a 'day 1 path' for the Gorn ship and they repeated that, that doesn't seem like something they just made up

It used to be -- just a few months ago -- that if you got the "big" BP then you got the missing shards for the epic officer (singular) that was on the main BP. Folks who got the "small" BP could earn the missing pieces through events and generally earn the two rare officers with events as well.

Now nearly every officer is epic, the shards are impossible to get, and the big BP does @#$%-all to help you get them and instead just refuels a bunch of ship currency I'm already at capacity on.

Haven't seen the value to the big BP in quite a while now. I'm not afraid to get it if I get something out of it, but as-is it's worthless.

I just changed strategy there. Since they moved from two days (six tickets) to three days (nine tickets) I just save up six tickets and then start on that weekend. As the weekend progresses I'll get three more, then I can do the last day. One ticket weekend per BP, free.

I'll grant that it used to be you could get the half-pack and it would last two arcs, but the ticket events are now quite exhausting so I'm good with just one per BP.

What bugs me the most about this game is that it's a good game. It's generally fun, and the mechanics can be interesting. It's nice to have goals and hit them, and talk to people and hit them. But then everything they make hits the Money People on the way out and they goose the numbers for Maximum Pain.

This puts me in the position of being super-excited to help people play the game part of the game and advance that myself, but then super-angsty about how horribly the thing is monetized and how much ridiculousness is going on because of it.

I listened to that on the way in to work. Not cold, smart. Efficiencies are a way to catch up to current content, which expects them to be done. Pretty simple.

Now, the path to doing the ship primes could be a LOT shorter, since new ships will effectively expect them.

Waves help there, but it's still super-slow.

Scopely wants everyone in g5+, but you get there and you're lumped with everyone 50+ in leaderboards and life gets miserable

I seriously almost quit at 59. The material needs were insane and then not being able to win anything at all to help with those needs was excruciating. I was at 59 for about six months.

The longest I've parked in ... ever. But I wasn't going to buy out of it.
