It used to be a good way to find potential recruits if they were in a 'large" alliance full of inactive players; the ALB is not a good way to gauge activity because if you have 2 very high lvl players they could potentially outscore an alliance of a few dozen low to mid 40 ops people just by hitting high level hostiles
The AMS showed who actually got the alliance credits done and how quickly

With the new requirement for building ships (g4 rare and epics etc.) to level up another ship (Borg Cube) where can we grind G4 epic ship bps? Like the Hegh'ta for example, I have been playing this game for years and only managed to so far get 47/650 Hegh'ta bps, I only started when I got a Borg Cube as I was not bothered about G4 rares or epics. These bps are mainly from Away Teams and no I do not have 964,800 Klingon Credits to acquire it through the faction store and no I am not willing to pay for it. As Scopely are requiring us to build these ships access to bps should be more readily available. @heady moon

I think I have 4 and tiering isn’t hard but don’t actually put ship xp into any of them. It makes them cheaper to repair and no one ever really mines dil with them. Or ever

I'm pretty sure repair cost depends only on tier and not on level
in any event I hardly ever use ship xp on ships and instead just park them in an Augment system overnight
