if the plastic bottle is old or exposed to heat, some chemicals from the plastic might get into the water in very tiny amounts. This is usually not a big problem for occasional use. FOR THOSE who dont know

Sally is a beast and worth maxing. It will take you quite awhile to get your first 3* epic like the enterprise and longer to level it up so sally will be your workhorse for a long while.
Even after you have a 3* epic you will probably still use sally a lot. It’s powerful and cheaper to repair than a 3* epic so just take your time and keep working on that sally. You won’t regret it.

Locking factions is important so anything that can boost the faction xp you get is great but it also depends on what officers you have because some officers can get you way more faction xp when grinding like the e-Picard crew.

The most important thing to know about for locking feds and roms first is ty’gokor. Once your sally is strong enough to kill the freighters there you won’t have any issues locking those 2 factions. Klingons will be a grind but they can come last.
I wouldn’t worry about faction locking until you get that sally up enough to handle those freighters.

It’s really not. Tally has replaced my Pilum by the time I hit Ops48, and the epics at 50, and it will probably make the uc at 53 unnecessary. It is an amazing ship that can have a massive streamlining in mats/rss spending. Make sure it’s ops-locked before moving up and you’re golden.

I think a pilum at ops 48 should still be significantly better than a talios; the loot bonus is very useful in PvE applications and the firing pattern makes the pilum much better at ship and especially base killing.
The talios's main advantage is just speed and cargo still.
at 52 or maybe 50 I can see the talios out sizing a pilum, but the size difference has to be huge to make up the difference vs bases, and the difference remains elsewhere as well until it's got at least a decent gap in power.

Depends how you play. I’ve literally never run out of ship parts. It was uc mats - crystal usually - for me. But it could have easily been all three mats.
By high 40s, the biggest blocker was actually hurry ups/lat.

Rare parts are a bottleneck only if you want to take faction ships beyond t9. For the specialty ships that need a handful of rare parts you’ll have more than enough. Uncommon materials can be a bottleneck early in g4 but if you keep up with the solo loop you’ll have more than enough. Rare materials are more of a bottleneck once you start needing them for station/ships/research.
And yeah, lat is a huge bottleneck if you’re f2p.

It’s not as bad as it used to be, now you have the voyager refinery, bajoran solo armadas for parts pulls and even the xindi loop has a parts package you can pull. It still takes time but far less than before.

There is no specific German server. You would be on an EU server with a mix of populations from different countries. Most servers tend to have certain countries as a majority of alliance but tend to grow to be multi national.

As of right now, BubbaJoe has quit the game and deleted the game and removed himself from all related discord servers. Unfortunately Scopely is driven away a lot of higher ops players due to the disrespectful ways they treat their players.
It is really sad to see this. Unfortunately their hubris will be their ultimate demise. At least for this game. I will personally avoid any other game titles made by Scopely.

I’m 52 and have been skipping it entirely. I’m not grinding out hundreds and hundreds of hostiles to make the grind easier. That would be like hitting my own forehead with a hammer so the Tylenol I take afterwards feels more effective.
Eventually I’ll be strong enough to revisit the loop without the excessive grinding…don’t know if that’s at Ops 60, but for sure it’s above 54…close enough to the expressed sentiment.

For this event, the new format pushes the redeem to the end. After 4 days of continuous grinding, having the 24 hours tailend is "standard" but also in a way deficient. Having dedicated players spend their saved up directives and locking them out with one time currency... is rather demoralizing.

Not everyone can be online as the event ends... And with the updated navigation, there are so many (inconsistent) tabs and buckets, ticketed events, month-long, season-long, meta of metas, etc.
All I'm saying is: there are many reasons for more than one person to miss the 24-hr Valentine's event store. It would be awesome to extend the store for this annual (non-frequent) event currency.

When the game lags and you can see the ship sometimes entering the system, I hit recall and stop thinking i was doing it on a ship being chased and it did it to the one that was coming in the system and froze outside the boundry

I know it was linked to the sonoma upgrade, and it was in theory fixed by the first patch this month (with the unity update that took some older samsung devices out back and did terrible things to them)
I don't keep a log of update numbers anywhere, but it would have been whichever patch version was released last in January

I've started WD's and player's Don't stay, that's the Life on my server.

When a gamer knows...he could win it...but the game itself does not support it. annoying af!...and not pleasing at all. We lost players because the game got unplayable for them....its sad

Had a lovely bug earlier, just finished a wave 10, no reward pop up, checked the faction page, saw that i did get the credits, go back to the screen, someone had already started a new wave and I got to spectate.
They bit it on the third round, with a 46 in there and a bunch of 40s

There are good things about this game 😀 but they are overshadowed...heavily. this is no good. And we talk about this since ever...started with TC laggs...and carries on till today.
So, updating the Unity Engine and stuff...I look to ma teamamtes how their clients do. But an Alliance and social bounds can just carry this much...and we carried till today 😄 Now, Scopely needs to show more love 😄

overcome a wave scores as well...and in an Ally, you could communicate 🙂
I know, its not always easy....we currently have 85 Members and to please all, is tricky. But thats actually whats about...communicate, help and play with each other. Play each strength on all lvls.
And a wave is pvp free zone...so, no war should interrupt that. You can kick also players, you are in war with 🙂
Its your decision 🙂 Overall, this game has the element to shoot people. Its no pure strategic build game nor a pure single player game. It has PVP Elements and being in an Ally is a big part to succeed in this game 🙂

i was just trying to find out how high swarm clusters go, and the hostile search maxes out at 46, but if i search for the system i know of that is level 50, its in the database and lists level 50 swarms which have their own page...but you cant search for the level 50 swarm in the hostile page....so i dont know if there are 51s, 52s, etc...
