Can’t end my away team missions:
Missions are finished, but clicking on report doesn’t end them. That means, 12 Crew Members are now blocked and can’t be used. Also it prevented me to score in the away team event…

Also I just noticed. I havn’t got new missions for this already ended once, when the timer was reset. Should have gotten 6 new missions, not only 2.

It's clearly not the time to fill cargo, but time to deplete the mine. Should take closer to 6 minutes to fill cargo at that speed.
Though I have a screenshot from April 2019 where it also says "fill cargo", so nothing has changed either.

It looks like you're concerned about the lost cargo exceeding what is listed. The report shows what the opponent has taken, not what was lost. In PvP you will lose everything above protected cargo.

Should be self explanatory. Just about every time I open the alliance power ranking screen, the list of the top 1-14 are populated with the same alliance name. The alliance name isn’t consistent - depends on who is in a particular position on the list. Scrolling far enough, the bottom updates to an infinite spinner and never populates with data. The alternative to the bottom sometimes shows the alliance name, but then has some broken code to the right.

The officer carousel continues to be broken. When I remove all bridge officers from a ship, and begin to select the officers I want, the officer in the #10 position from the time this list populates is missing. In this example, when I remove the bridge officers, then scroll to pick Moreau, the carousel refreshes. 10 slots from the first displayed is Pike, who is hidden.

That happens to me too but I didn’t realize an actual officer is in missing slot. Sucks that yours is Pike.

It would be less of an issue if it wasn’t an officer that I needed to pair. 🙂 Pic to show Pike is in that slot after scrolling off screen and back.

Rather than scrolling thru the carousel, I find Pike by putting Moreau in captain slot and selecting Group. Quick and easy for me.

not meaning to minimize the problem, but why does your alliance mate need to see it? you have a guard ship there, so just turn it against the hunter, then warp out if it survives. your miner will be able to mine freely until you recall it

As a point of interest, your reports don't have you listed as attacking anyone inbetween? But if you feel that the shield wasn't up when it should have been then you'll need to contact customer support to check their logs.

Away missions on IPad (Air - g1) seem a bit flakey.
If I start one, I then can't start another until I go away and do something else (crewing, shooting, restart, etc). If I try to start another available away mission, it just shows me the first one I started instead of the new one.
Same if I speed up the first one, it shows me a 'completed' screen with empty crew slots.

That away team being stuck was handled totally wrong by scopley. They just deleted the mission and I have ZERO REWARDS. I was shown 100 percent chance of mission success before it started so where are my rewards scopley. Working as intended.

It's bad enough to deal with scopelys poor decisions about the game but the performance bugs that have lingered for many months need to be fixed. I was just booted to galaxy view while in augment space for not having a ship in system. 😑

This past week I've went from playing 20-30min consecutively to maybe 3 minutes before the game kicks me out having to restart. Can't even get a ticket in because by the time I get in to the "contact us" page and about 5 words typed it boots me out. Movies stream fine, other games work fine and yes I regularly clear apps and turn off all background data users that I can. Also have cleared cache, force close and restart, and several other tricks to reduce any drag. Any suggestions?

It would appear that the game suffers from a memory leak. In about an hour's playing my system memory usage has gone from 85% to 97% and still increasing, starting to spill into my swap space. When it runs out of swap space, the game locks up and need to reboot. FYI

Have you checked shield health damage from your battle report?
I mean it looks like you lost 26k hull, I'm assuming that's the one battle? 🤷‍♂️ In which case 26k ÷ 0.2 = 130k expected total damage, and so 104k expected shield damage. 104k expected damage + 80k remaining = 184k starting shield health, or 88k more than stated in stats. Looks ok off-hand 🤷‍♂️.

They're empty because there is no battle once you're cracked. Go to the first couple at the bottom while he was still getting through your ships and station and they'll be there.

I am glad Ares recognizes our plight here on 35 but I also hope they realize that even if the rewards are delayed, as he put it, they are so far delayed by almost 10 hours. That, to me, is not a delay, that's a major malfunction. Even if everything we've done all day suddenly shows up, it still screwed up everyone's day. Being unable to track progress in events and goals has certainly caused most of us to give up even trying. I realize the top rewards can't be given to everyone, but a meaningful compensation for losing an entire days progress, so far, should be forthcoming. I was looking forward to getting that opus skin.

Faction specific bonuses are not reflected in the clients costs, but the correct lower amounts are taken. This is deliberate due to a bug with faction specific bonuses while in dock.

Originally none of these bonuses were reflected in client, they enabled the non-faction specific ones and left the faction specific ones off until they can get them working properly.

Today I upgraded 2 lvl 26 defense turrets around 2 hours before this event ended. That's around 66k or 33k points each for the turrets alone. I also built a few more things but this was my end result. I've got my ID Ready there is someone here that can address this problem. These points seemed to record correctly on the kuron frags event that includes station building.

I don't think that's accurate. They made an attempt, it failed. And I believe they did eventually manage to get it working with repairs, after many attempts.
I believe that they want to, their ability to achieve it in a reasonable timeframe though is another matter.

The amber glowing ones currently showing are latinum/low level klingon crystal systems with absolutely no pvp activity or starbases.

Have reported this over 2years ago and still not resolved....my base sporadically floats around in galaxy space and ships cannot return to base. Scopley support respond to say it has been escalated or passed onto the team or a report is being written, but then close the ticket! Have got fed up of screenshotting my STFC life so have just posted a couple of examples....the latest Scopley support message provided an invite to here, so hopefully I have got the correct discord channel! 2 years is surely long enough for someone to look into this and fix it?? Causes me issue during some events and stops me competing which is unfair and I miss out on rewards that I could have achieved! Any help appreciated, but not advice about restarting app, device, clearing localisation, reinstalling or updates as these have all been done numerous times!!

Which ship are you trying to recall? Is it happening on all of your ships all of the time?
Usually that error happens when your ship is already in warp or combat, but the client thinks it's not (not uncommon of itself), server throws back the error as it can't carry out the requested action.

Sounds like a stuck ship. They go through the recall process, but never actually recall.
Just tell them that you have a stuck ship and the below information, they can manually recall it for you (keeping it simple tends to make it a little quicker it sounds too, support can take their time).

Power shouldn't change depending on system. I mean that would mean that your power would have to fluctuate whenever you target eclipse traders, Armadas (other bonuses), or players. Instead your ship stats and power will remain constant. There are a couple of bugs that can impact ship power in reports and when viewed by others though.

This is basically what the research does though. Out of combat the extra doesn't exist, during combat it is applied (and power doesn't change).

Oh, and just to compound the confusion. I have another bonus somewhere on mine, I'm actually 132k when hitting hostiles that aren't exchange, and the next 15k is my eclipse SHP bonus. So can be good to get a base line by hitting a random tiny hostile too..

Yeah, all the Stella specific bonuses that are always active are not shown when in dock, like the Stella hull health bonus, so you can get a healthy boost when you leave dock; and why you ship suddenly implodes when you dock when damaged 😆

You need to compare before winning the refit, and after. Not without /with it, as once you deblock the refit, it s permanent bonus no matter if you use it or not.

Yes and no… @mighty notch you can calculate this, look at the hostile amount, the calculation is simple, add up the bonuses you have- your Stella loot bonus, highway robbery and your refit bonus. Then multiply that to the loot you would get from said hostile and that the loot you would recieve

Dark space visibility has some continuing bugs, which appear to depend on whether you select a different ship when recalling from dark space. I've seen two different resulting bugs: one is that a dark space system remains visible when it shouldn't be, the other is that systems that shouldn't be blocked as dark (either other dark space systems that have a ship or station or a system that isn't dark at all) become so, where you can enter the system only to be kicked out about 10 seconds later. These problems can be resolved by restarting the game, as a workaround.

Well actually you are opc, it’s just that you are only a couple K over your protected, so it will only be a very small line on the second section because of the total cargo capacity. If you zoom in close you will see that it has the little larger line there

But you know what the protected cargo amount is, or can find out by looking at what your ship details are and just look at your cargo amount, not too hard.

That’s what I’m saying it is showing as over, only just, and it depends on the rounding of how much exactly your protected is, it says 55k but that could still be anything between 55,001-55,999 unless you get someone to scan your ship to see what the opc say and you can easily calculate what exactly your protected is. And then amount of line shown is in direct correlation to how much total cargo your ship can hold, so if your only around 2k over with a 559k total cargo it only a small percentage of the total line.

STFC drains my battery far more than I would expect (ever since I started playing 1.5 years ago).

Upon inspecting with "adb shell top", I can see "com.scopely.startrek" uses about 120% CPU, surfaceflinger some 15%, android.hardware.graphics.composer@2.1-service some 12%. That is without me playing at all, nor swiping, nor typing, just observing a random system.

I was hoping it had to do with me having old phone (Blackview BV9000 Pro, older Android), but CPU usage is about the same on brand new Ulefone Armor 11 5G, only slightly less (from 130% to 120%).

In alliance chat, the usage of com.scopely.startrek drops to some 60%. Still way too high imho, yet somehow "better".

Researching a bit on surfaceflinger: it seems to be responsible for doing the surface updates. But which surface updates? Galaxy/Alliance/Private chat are dead quiet to the human eye. And in system view, only a view ships/hostiles are moving, some combat visuals, a shiny claim button. No difficult ray tracing, shadows, but more or less simple 2D from my point of view. And besides, most of the graphics should be handled by the GPU, shouldn't it? Not on the CPU.

I ran "adb shell dumpsys SurfaceFlinger", but that output is way out of my league.

So, I really don't get the fact that STFC uses more than 1 core all the time on my phone.

Any tips are welcome, although I'm hoping for devs to somehow diagnose/confirm/fix.

It's just showing the wrong cutout over the icons, not changing the rewards given.
If you need damaged datapads you should use LCARS to find what missions (with the command: !mission reward "damaged datapad") and then you can find the missions that you need.

Missing 2 resrarch and 1 building icons. Restart app they come back but gone after a little while. It is like this for more than a month now.

Lat Crit has always been 100% and showing Green for good Crit.

Am a thousand Lat down on just the last 2 Missions...and alot more on previous 3.

I could of course be doing something wrong but am receiving other Crit rewards like Ore.
