With the new update the game performance on iOS is still horrible... I counted 20 crash’s in total till now a lot of old things but also some new stuff, switching ships officers etc. causes game crashes. Like in the picture you try to setup a crew and nothing happens and the game still stuck

Been that way for as long as I'm aware with gold mission hostiles @night stirrup the trick is to get a headstart in the shields by using a second ship (also regenerate, but not instantly).

Hmm I always used to kill them by hitting With 3 ships in a row, it took damage each time, and then fixed itself after about a minute, however now I’m finding the second and third ships are hitting a fully repaired and shielded ship, although both previous attacks depleted the shields and did damage

Always been that way for me, instant hull repair. Shields typically regen very fast, so you need too lineup the ships for immediate attacking and I personally don't see the benefit in using a 3rd ship unless they've decreased the shield regen speed recently.

Another interesting issue I have run across today that I've not yet seen mentioned in addition to experiencing most every complaint reported above, with very few exceptions... Attack a ship and my ship races past it.... returns and by then the intended target has moved, warped off or just simply vanishes. The game has truly become aggravatingly unplayable for me. Try to do anything and it crashes or freezes requiring a full kill/restart within every 5-7 minutes, this absolutely without exaggeration. I finally put a 1-day shield up and tossed the iPad onto my desk and walked away.

@dusk zealot it doesn't protect 100% of your resources, it increases your protected value by 100%. My level 18 Parsteel vault protects 300,000 Parsteel, with Prime Protection that will now double to 600,000. I hope that makes sense.

When changing crew selection and hitting "CONFIRM CHANGES" I'm getting around a 50% chance that the game freezes at the crew selection view with the button depressed and I have to restart the game client to get the game playable again. The crew selection has gone through so I don't have to try again, but far from ideal when doing a quick swap during a fight etc

When changing from Vi'Dar to Centurion the dock display slot stays as the Vi'Dar but the ship changes to Centurion. When I then go to change crew, the below deck slots for my Vi'Dar are present instead of my Centurions slots (1 more than Vi'Dar)

I must say to @ivory vortex You guys totally ruined our gaming with latest borg event. List of faults:
- PVE graphigal bug is not fixed yet
- Ships now stay eternal loops when attacking base, screen update works and battle message appears.
- Ships do not return home, either empty or full. If the miner is full of cargo at raid it goes home when second ships vicotry message appears. You can also try recall twice then it might enter home.
- Bases seems to get wrong level numbers, when you close them 40 base is then 25 base and so on.
- Borg ALB event do not grant 5 points when fighting with Borg officer as Captain One of Ten Similar bug were last event when using Gladius should been giving 14 points but not... Must be ALB event scoring related bug.
- Increased eternal loops on PVE, Now can have 5-10 hostiles and you may have 2 eternal loops

@mild pagoda we are clients most us here don't understand the difference between lag or bug.... if the game does not work as expected it is a bug in our point of view especially when majority is experiencing same issues. Server lag as you mention is ridiculous in my opinion if you consider the fact that Scopely should be able to afford high-end servers to run a less graphics intensive mobile game where the whole rendering is actually done by clients phone. Twice since the update my Vi'Dar has bugged fighting Borg and been locked in combat, tried resetting localisation but the game fails to load with "Failed to login, please try again", tried killing the app (and all other apps) and re-opening but still fails to load, only a full phone restart seems to get it back to a working state
When the bug happens normally I can shoot another hostile with another ship and the ship comes out of combat, but with the Vi'Dar vs Borg that doesn't seem to work either

The reason to report bugs other people have already reported is so that Scopely gets an idea of how many players are impacted. One report is a fluke, 100 is a problem to be addressed.

How is it that another player (level 29) with a miner of 180k power can attack and destroy defences on a 6 million power base (level 28) on the very first attack? I think something is wrong with power distribution as that does not make sense.

@exotic ice the banners have always been wrong when dealing with combination points, only shows one of them. If you check your contribution before and after though you should see the full amount added.

Constant involuntary reboots take me to login / loading page for minutes at a time since we began the Borg Events. It costs me mines (I go OPC because reboot happens as I shift screens to swap ships), warships (destroyed by patrols at reboot) and time. This is why I don't pay. I don't invest in "broken".

I am having an issue that happens when I am attacking hostiles. After killing one I lock on and attack another. My ship shows the line and the ship does a small movement then stops and I have to hit attack for a second time. This becomes an issue when I am in Borg space, Swarm space or in an aggressive system when trying to get as many hostiles as possible. I end up loosing valuable time and hence I loose the hostile to another player. It doesn't happen everytime but it happens frequently.

8 hour Shields are bugged again! Much like the rest of the game right now post update but only getting a little over 2 hours from 4 hour Shields and 6 hours from 8 hour Shields before the drop is unacceptable. My 8 hour Shield dropped early and was raided below protection caps last night by a single player while I slept. Scopely won't help due to the latest terms of service. I will not drop a single cent into any of their content ever again.

@ivory vortex my server, 26, badly needs maintenance. Ever since the patch update the server lag has been insane. PvPing is an absolute nightmare. Even when you intercept an enemy in a straight line there’s still a good chance your ship won’t even engage. Recalling a ship from a local system has massive hang times, and after losing a pvp fight it takes about 5-10 seconds before the server updates and reflects your ship as destroyed. My 4th drydock ship is now “inaccessible”. Literally a dead drydock now (ticket has been submitted).

@ivory vortex Server 29 I believe. Selected my Teir 3 Vidar and Borg hunting crew. Sent them to lvl 26 borg space. Attacked a single borg prob as usuall and I die. My screen shows a dead Saladin in the dry dock. These glitches need to be fixed as they are preventing people from finishing borg events since we only get 2 transwarp coils per day.
Battle log also shows Saladin. I watched the Vidar warp there and showed a vidar of the carrect power when I hit attack.

The number and frequency of the "Stuck in Battle" glitches has seemed to double since the last update. So have the "Attack Abort" glitches. Now I am seeing a new glitch where ships going to base seem to fall asleep before arriving and game awards are not being credited until the game is exited and restarted.

The glitches of ships not showing docked after you recalled them is really annoying. It makes raiding difficult. I would hit recall again and usually force the client to update status, but then the attack button often was just spinning. I had to recall, and even though my cargo still looked full and it didn't look like I docked, just attack again. It looked like I was attacking with full cargo over and over but I was getting loads, I had to confirm in the battle log

Two issues I keep running into:
- When I swap ships, it stays with the one I had before the swap and doesn’t change to the new one
- When I bring my miner home, specifically docA, it shows its home when it’s still a couple minutes out but showing 00seconds

Also: due to increased number of ppl currently home due to virus there is lag on internet and phone provider systems creating delays in syncing between game and your devices. Please allow some time if you complete an event or mission and do not immediately see rewards etc credited. I had issue last night with the 9 of 10 capture key. Cashed it in and it took almost 10 min to show on my game. Please be patient as all of these delays are not Scopely’s fault.

Only Panic can do that. And he is busy with other things. There are various posts in here from all the mods regarding each of these reports that have been reported. The problem is it bogs down the channel and gets potential new bug reports pushed too far up where they can be missed. I understand the frustration and people wanting answers. I would like to thank everyone for their patience during this time. With people being quarantined, being laid off, etc., it creates a lot of anxiety in people which leads to frustration and anger. We are here to help however we can and I assure you we (the Mods) are reporting the bugs to the developers. Time frames for fixes is not known as most of Scopely is working from home, which creates delays due to various reasons. But please know we also play the game and any bug, glitch etc. is taken serious by us.

@mild pagoda I dont envy your position doing this mate. Complete ballache from all sides. There does need to be a clearer response from somebody that has input into these things. You could scroll for days and not see someone with the same issue as you or it could be the next comment up. So many people comment either nonsense or multiple bugs. I do think given the history of issues after updates/new content this storyline should have been postponed. This has been the most buggy update I've experienced without doubt and they have very few resources to actually fix it with all this stuff going on.

Found a fix to the against all odds glitch....unarchive all missions....my seeds of life mission was waiting to be collected. Once that was done, recall the stuck stage 3 and my mission continued on...

The game seems to always need a restart after I change the crew on my ships, which is really annoying.
Once it restarts, I can change crew no problem, but if I've had the game open for any time at all, it freezes up on the crew screen after I hit the save changes button.

@woeful stone I think what you are seeing is that it reflects your current stocks - It was an annoying quest line because you would buy it from the store, but you couldn't use it on the BB if you wanted to finish the quest. You have to stock up, finish the quest, THEN you can spend it on the BB.

Not sure if this is a bug - but I don't like that when research is running you cannot look at other research since the last update. I used to select my dry dock 4 (not yet built) and then select the research element that was missing. This still works - however previously you had the different research sections at the bottom so you could then move between combat, station and galaxt research so you could plan which do to next so as soon as it finished you knew what to do. Now these have gone I can only browse the Station research as he back button takes me back to the dry dock.

currently my game freezes regularily whenever I change my ships crew. Additionally returning ships stay outside the base, where they will be attaccked when in hostile space, unless you "recall" them, which gets you the message that they are not deployed.

Try completely exiting the game, if on an Apple device ensure you close the game in the back ground as well and do a full start. The ship should now be free. This happened to me yesterday as well.

The most horrible update of any app game or non game that I ever got. It's not just freezing any more it's also giving wrong info about points, then once it ranked me wrong on an event (before I restarted). Then the notifications with a red number are wrong. And then something very misterious, Apart from the usual glitch while recalling when the ship comes next to the base but not in the base I had something super strange.I recalled it again as usual to - Usually it reports an error but still gets the ship into the base. This time the ship was sent to my previous location (from where I retrieved the ship the first time) I thought I was tripping until it happened one more time. Today, my phone started blinking like it's a party when I had a call at the same time when the game was open.... My phone specs are super high, this should not be happening. I wish I could go back to the previous install

Augment mission "Beneath the Heel" is badly bugged / broken. Mission boss (bounty hunter in yellow explorer) scans as only 44k, yet it is able to kill my 101k kehra. I don't get the math on this, the numbers just don't add up. Mission boss suddenly getting strong enough in combat to kill ships way more powerful?

Note the difference in the stats for the explorer and you'll understand what I mean by the mission boss suddenly becoming way more powerful. Shields alone jump to 44k from 8.6k, pretty huge change in combat ability.

I haven’t been able to start any Borg missions since the 1st day. I did three in Tejat. The missions descriptions were missing. Just showed pics. Then I realized my app hadn’t updated. @gray elm Those missions was only 'tests'. Do the events and you will get the mission keys from the main event and you can start them by the keys in the gift section.

I think the best move would be to shut down servers, do a maintenance where they repair all these bugs and dont come online till all repaired... Then restart this Borg Act 3... Ofc not loosing any reward what we gained already and give us transwarp cells etc, what we already used for the events/missions...

Show of hands here with a "thumbs up" to this comment...who has had their bases attacked and drained with NO notifications from the game whatsoever, whether you were playing it or away from the game at the time? Say in the last few weeks to a month!

Do they even bother to test anything before releasing it ? All of these bugs and broken missions just screams of devs doing sloppy work. I've been playing online games for years and have never seen such shoddy work from devs.
I don't blame the mods here, program coding isn't they're job. With all of the bugs and broken missions, I would hate to have to deal with the numbers of irate players that they do.

Before releasing new content with more bugs, take the time to fix the things that are already wrong with the game. People wouldn't mind having to wait a little longer for new stuff to be released if it meant an overall improvement to the game (i.e. bugs and broken missions fixed). Isn't that what beta testing is supposed to be for?

This latest version of the app makes the game nigh on unplayable. Crashing even more than usual (who thought that was even possible), leaderboards showing incorrect names, events showing ‘Retrieving’ all the time. Come on! Sort yourselves out. Do you not do ANY UAT testing?

- None of my ships actually go home when recalled. They sit outside my base, until I move a different ship or hit recall - get an error screen - and wait.
- Getting the 10 minute gifts is throwing an error.

Lost about 75% of my Parsteel, Half of Tritanium and 40 % Dilithium, no 10min shield appeared, no attack on my Station before today, notification came when it was too late.

@fierce aurora between how difficult it is to climb due to all the time it takes for each thing, the crappy prizes that they give in most events and now the bugs and glitches that appear all the time .... I have already said this game falls apart.
We hope that they fix it at once and give us a compensation at the height of so much failure (unlikely right?)

Schiffwechsel wird falsch angezeigt, das Spiel friert ein beim Wechsel der Offiziere
Chat ist total verbuggt und friert nach jedem Rückkehren aus dem Standby-Modus ein
Bei dem Screenshot wird immer noch Schiff A auf der Mine angezeigt (kein anderes Schiff kann drauf) aber das Schiff ist im Warp. Zudem müsste die Mine 0 oder 18000 sein da ich sie neu machen wollte

Also have this problem- stuck on borg mission "Against All Odds", act 3/7, Return the survivors to your Station. Recalled all ships multiple times, restarted game few times, still doesn't proceed.
Also when swapping ships at base, after confirming the new ship still shows the old ship.

Trying to switch ships. It shows the Kumari, but displays the Mayflower name and stats. When I launch the ship, the Kumari appears in the system view, but the Mayflower appears in the bubble at the bottom of the screen. When I attack a hostile, the notification says "USS Mayflower", but the battle report and battle log say "Kumari"..
