My ECS HORIZON T4 has a protected cargo of 10k without special officers. If I add my BORG Officer which is telling me he adds 30% of the protected cargo then the ship shows only 12k protected cargo. Shouldnt it be 13k instead?

All of the bonuses are additive. You would need to take this into account also.
Rounding makes it a little harder, but basically if you have 10% bonus from research you would need to divide your shown base by 1.1 to work out the actual base, then you can calculate the bonuses expected from that base number.

How is this calculated if this IS ADDITIVE. I would assume then the 30% are added to the proteced cargo which is currently shown and not only the pure ship protected cargo?

It's calculated on the BASE protected cargo. All of your bonuses are additive. So 10% research and 30% officer is 40% on the BASE amount (which you can only look up or manually calculate now)
By look up manually I mean go to LCARS and find the base stats.

I've been facing an issue since the last upgrade. I win a battle vs a hostile (related quest is completed) with my Northstar. Battle log shows I've won with plenty of hull health left, but my ship is destroyed after the battle. Anyone face something similar.

@waxen rain what crew are you using? This happens with a couple of officers that boosts stats during combat, after combat end the stats go back to normal and you lose the additional health, ship go boom.

@hallow seal level up and increase your ship strength. Just bc you have access to an event doesn’t mean you can complete it all at once. Was the same way with initial augment event and swarm event. Some parts do req you to have stronger ships. Look at it as a goal to reach.

NPCs Lvl 40+ are still ridicoulosily strong! Lvl 41 are almost 5 Mio., no way to complete training Lvl 41 and higher 😡 The unfair part of it: a few players already completed trainings until 44 with decent enemies BEFORE that update, which increased strenght of hunters and NPCs so stupidly 😡

So. Anyone else ha ing problems with chat after the update?
I always seem to lose either my keyboard when typing (just disappears and i have to tap furiously for 5 seconds before it returns) about 5 times before i have typed a single sentence. Or the brief 1 second of connection issue which stops any chats from coming in and stops adding points to events.
All of this is sorted after a restart for about 5 min until it starts again.
Done every standard thing to see if that fixes it but alass..

Since the update the automated mining swap is not working anymore. When the new survey ship arrives they are changing places in mining, but the survey ship which was there before is not returning to station.
It was really a cool feature, making the game more socially acceptable. 😁

I can only speak for the apple store, but you have to force an update, just because it says you have the latest, it may not be correct.

Officer Pike and "Advaced Training". Suppose to increase xp earned by combated by 20%. Interceptor started with 4845 xp. Destroyed a hostile and was reported to earned 211 xp. Interceptor now only has 5035 xp, where I expected 5056 xp.
Could also be a reporting/calculation bug. Hit another ship while starting at 5035xp. Was reported to earn 591xp. But only earned 190xp.
Unless that reporting is xp you gained that is in the pve chest?

Honestly everyone knows there is an issue with attack notifications. Best advice is to shield. Until it’s fixed nothing else to do. If actively playing stay unshielded. But stepping away I’d pop a shield.

@nova panther hey. Few months ago devs added a feature allowing to send a mining ship back home when another of your ship arrived on that node. It does not work anymore (ios). Do you have any info when it will be bring back? Among some other problems (sending ship to attack red doesn't move, but after a while it attacks the red from the place it is standing)... It is quite annoying that a feature once added doesn't work anymore.

How do you complete a mission to find inert nanoprobes when the only places to get them require trans warp device that you can build without completing the missions?

In order to complete the mission string and get inert nanoprobes you have 3 options:
- Pay money to build the ship. You will not get nanoprobes or warp cells until you build it
- Wait to build the ship, as it will be free after you complete all milestones in the solo Borg event
- Steal inert nanoprobes from someone returning to station. You will no doubt make them angry, but it is a work around. It will not get you further along in the mission string for very long, though
(You dont need missions to get transwarp cells or ship)

I've been experiencing "connection" issues for the last couple of days. Game is reluctant to load, it stops at 76% sometimes it finishes loading, other times it just stays stuck. Hostiles don't update in the system. Sometimes they are stuck at nodes, other times they display despite already having been killed. Gift boxes are unresponsive. Most actions come with a delay. Just now I've been waiting 8 min to see the result of one attack, when it still didn't come through, I tried to clear localisation, just to get stuck at 76% again. Only thing that seems to work is the chat. So at least I can complain about it 😂. But seriously this is unbearable! The issues seem to peak around 6-9pm GMT. My connection is fine, I've reinstalled the game, nothing seems to work. I could go into detail about further issues for pages, but I'm at a point where I'm thinking, why bother? If this goes on for much longer, I'll finally quit.

I went to the Unoma System as directed on the “Perception and Reality” mission. The next step was to attack the Borg. No further directions were available. Nothing in the system. It just stopped.

For the mission „beneath the heel“ in the rainsford system, I would need to kill a bounty hunter. His strength is 44k, when scanning him. However, when I try to kill him, he is mich stronger. - When you get the vidar don’t refine anything you get from killing borg probes. Turdgame subtracts what you spent from what you collected. I collected 1170, refined 1000, and turdgame screwed me on two mission lines.

Why do many of the borg missions not tell us the rewards? These are not the ones where we choose, but it says it will tell us at the end of the mission and instead when we collect, it just has the box with the question mark and then it zooms away.

That’s not to mention the constant crashing, after last update it’s almost every 10 mins sometimes less... Also the constant freezing of the game... At times it’s impossible to even complete your dailies attacking hostiles as it freezes so bad that you get attacked by hostiles....

There are systems bugged on server 37. Deneca and Cita Laga. You can’t see or use mining nodes or hostiles. You can’t complete missions that start or end there. You can’t move you station there. Countless players have reported this. It’s been bugged at least a week. Please fix it.

I keep having this issue in Borg systems: I send the ship (Saladin and Vi'dar that I've tried) to attack, and there's no animation of the ship moving to the hostile. It just stays still, then attacks from wherever it happens to be. Seems like a visual glitch, and as far as STFC bugs go is one of the more benign.
It does seem that things are overall buggier since the Borg systems came in. Chat is repeatedly freezing more than in the past (which includes frozen event point updates), I've had more app crashes than I can remember, and sometimes the hostiles will move at a very low framerate (while player ships will move at usual framerates).

@lyric arrow It’s just a graphical glitch. If you don’t do anything you will notice your ship will still attack the hostile at the right time. It just doesn’t move until it starts attacking (so it is annoying).

North Star timer on nodes are not accurate. Game timer said 14 min for 0 node while I set a separate timer. The node went 0 in 8 minutes and the game timer is still going with Zzz.

@stable umbra the mining rate does change, the number displayed does not. Thats also the reason why the timer isn't correct. the timer goes off the displayed value while your actual mining rate is much faster. It definately needs to get fixed as there have been many conflicts over whether a node was zeroed or not, always involving northstars.

Got a glitch with repair times being longer then stated, example just repaired half smashed centurion, stated 2h10m for repair, press repair and repair time becomes 2h17m
And when its on my fully smashed legion it'll say x amount of time and adds 21 or 22 mins to a 5hr+ repair time

Having chat issues with disappearing keyboard and 1 second connection drops while my connection itself is still solid(using mobile data because unlimited data), which causes events to stop counting and chat to stop working completely.

Targeting issues: Targeting a ship, press attack and the ship starts to attack target and bounces back a little, have to target and hit attack again to get ship to attack. The other targeting issue is on scouts, sometimes swarm, sometimes borg probes instead of ship going directly to target, your ship heads toward the destination point of the ship bypassing your target, where others attack same ship and head directly to it.

@charred sage if you press attack and it goes and it stops don’t press attack again just wait and it will attack even if the ship doesn’t move. Cached after being on for awhile makes your ship big out so just press attack like normal and it’ll kill it even if it “stops”

@charred sage the delay isn’t really a delay if someone out beats you with the “stops when you press attack” then it would be the same as being beat if your ship showed on your screen normally traveling. All the error comes from is the server to device telling the “ 101010001 “ to move ship on your screen. Normal gameplay is still happening

Is this mission objective supposed to be a borg hostile? Because the bonus from the ship is not applying to it. Being that it is in borg space you would have to spend a trans warp cell to get there and it says borg probe one would assume it is a borg hostile.

I’m just saying it’s intentionally misleading or a bug. And kinda a shitty thing to do if it is intentional. Make the ship weak on purpose, give it the buff for borg hostiles, and then placing the mission hostile in a zone where you have to use a trans warp cell to get there and is too high for your vidar to kill unless you’re already at t 3. In order to kill that I basically have to waste a trans warp coil sending a ship that can beat it and can’t beat any borg ships.

Just finished doing swarm daily's, 3 1/2 min ride home, hit recall. Walked away and came back to my ship in battle because it decided it was going to park itself just outside my base instead! SMH 🤦🏻♂️

There is a bug since the last 2 app updates. People are sending ships to systems and closing the game. When they come back, the ship has attacked someone.
I sent a mayflower to a mission, someone attacked me with a low lvl miner. I asked him why. He was offline and left the ship mining.
Same has happened to someone in my alliance. He sent a ship to a planet on the other side of the galaxy and went for a shower. Came back online and he had messages from someone asking why he attacked their miner

I think there are defects with warp that are related. 1. On recall, Ship stuck outside station; 2. On stop warp, ship is reported in system but cannot be commanded. I think the bug is that the reported warp count down is wrong, and actual warp time is longer. Like the domita warp time reduction is reported, but no longer actual. Same with the stop warp time reduction, is reported to be smaller than actual.

I couldn't refresh a 3* Gas Mine that had gone to 0. Immediately after 0 I moved ship off but when I tried to move back on it showed as still being occuped by the ship I had moved off. I went to Galaxy view and then back into the system but still was showing as occupied (which has resolved before). I rebooted app which again did not work. I then opened app on phone (was using tablet) and this was showing the same. I ended up warping to next system and then it would allow me to select the mine but by the time ship returned someone else had taken the node - not good when the mining event is on and difficult enough to get find a node.

@simple plank scopely never really fixed these bugged nodes. There's one of these in every G2/G3 mining system. All they did was to simply put a band aid, and it came off already

All interest in the game has dropped about 80 to 90% because of constant crashes and a non operational chat.

Miners no longer auto-recall when node swapping. Previously, you could pull a miner off a node, send a miner from station to mine that node, and then replace the first miner. When the replacement miner arrived, after a few seconds, the first miner would recall to station and the replacement would mine. Now, the replacement miner starts mining, but the original miner just hovers above without being recalled.

Something is wrong with the 10min defense shield, and station defenses (or else this is a hack) - see shot of continuous sequence of hits, as well as the ship that did it. Shouldn’t have pierced the station...

The attacks that cracked your base have scrolled off the bottom of your log. The last 3-4 log entries are bugged and and generally stick and are not sequential. Current base combat allows any ship into your base once your defenses have been destroyed. Base defenses do not start to auto repair for 10min after last attack.

Also, there are several other things amiss. The shield remains full but the hull is empty, and the battle log is also empty.

They changed base combat. Once you are cracked the logs will be empty because your defenses were destroyed and no actual combat took place unless there is more than 10 mins between attacks.
Yes all those attacks are real. The bottom log entries are bugged and are out sequential order. Ignore them. No bug Next time shield.

First off, if you shielded and it failed that’s a separate issue. And not what you posted nor what is being discussed. The bugged logs have been bugged and documented here for many months. The combat changes are documented and announced here #⭐-official-announcements . This was changed months ago.

@native oyster one issue may be you ship and it’s crew. Your Mehta is stronger but it’s also getting negative points against the bounty hunter. Also you need a hostile crew to maximize your chances. Try cadet uhura as captain, cadet Kirk and Chen That will lower ship power but give better advantage against the bounty hunters
If that is a mission boss you will need a different crew set up though.

Attacking a hostile before the green banner of the last combat is shown, results in your ship stopping mid space and performing a long range battle. It looks like server-side it works ok, but the client looses the position of the ship for a while, until after the battle. Well technically you’ve already got them unlocked, it states you have a chance to get a full unlock so if you don’t have the officer you get the full unlock

My warp ranges never changed when I relocated closer to a system I was gunning for.

Warp range is tied to the path between systems - so sometimes moving close doesn't change the star cluster you are in

@ivory vortex @native oyster lI'm having an issue with mining in hostile territory. I used to be able to send in 2 ships, set the miner and recall the other and be able to mine. Today did the same thing but the game sent 2 fighters even when the other ship was recalled. Tried this 3 times but still not letting me mine

@potent grove I’ve noticed that as well. Even when I have the ships arrive within 5 seconds of each other.

@potent grove if you ram the non-mining ship into the hunter for the ship that will be mining, the miner will no longer get any hunter/fighters coming after it.
