Hi-hope this is the right place to post this but I just downloaded the app and before it finishes loading for the first time it flashes the error message “failed to log in”. I have contacted game support but I have gotten an automatic message stating it would be up to 24 hours before I heard back. Does anyone know of a fix—I’d like to start the game as soon as possible. @nova panther basically game fails if you aren't logged in to your game center or Google Play. When I swapped phones I forgot I needed Google Play and I disabled it. First try to load STFC and I got the scene as above

Officer shards awarded from events display how many you have before the ones awarded, shards from a chest show how many you have after receiving the new ones. I don't know if it's technically a bug but it's a UI inconsistency that could stand being fixed as it's a bit confusing.

Yes, the game keeps spamming me with that crap every time i try to set destination or even check a target, love trying to target a hostile and have to deal with a dozen or so of those poping up. At least i have 10 minutes responce time on getting my base shield up after some one hits me, need that much time some days just to get there from the constant issues that keep poping up.

I put my Envoy farming mineral 2, with my Turas protecting it, and the Envoy goback to my base and my Turas starts mining.
2 times do it, and the last one I was looking something in my base, and had the Turas selected.

Common officer packs over the last month to month - 2 months have been showing a maxed officer as 1st officer and paying xp for one shard and not giving the other 3 shards or paying in xp for them. When is this fix coming?
This is the bug reporting room I believe but no one is addressing this.
I have about 4K in my account you can see for yourself.
Using it till it’s fixed is just an utter waste.

@tiny jackal that is not a bug, that is working as intended. You get 3 shards. If maxed you will get officer XP instead. For each shard you get anything between 20 and 1000 XP per shard.
So your pull of 1560 is actually pretty good. Considering the fact, that you could have got 60 officer XP total

Generally, "raided when shield is up" means your 10 minute auto deployed and it isn't actually the long shield you think was deployed.

3 bugs in a picture, but still just a funny sidenote in relation to the game freezes or game crashes when entering systems, trying to flee from NPC attackers - or the one, where the game suddenly stopps to actually relay the commands I give my ship until I restart the game. Most ships I lose to NPC attackers I lose by bugs.

Can a mod explain something to me pls. In the call to arms solo event, I raised 38mil pts last night. Yet over the same period I only raised 11mil for the alliance. Yet when I read the rules, the scoring system is the same. I did notice all my scores drop to zero for a few seconds and then come up again when I rebooted the game. (Server 157).
Addendum..I just realised the alliance event resets every 8 hours. Please disregard this. 🙄

I was not able to shield before the maintenance. I had cleared a zeroed miner a few minutes prior. I got a message saying I couldn't shield when there is a battle pending, but I had no battle pending. The miner I cleared told me their game was glitching when I attacked. In any case, I should have been able to shield and couldn't.

@uneven jay Battlelogs should show 10400% in practise, the battlelog tooltip doesn't take a lot of things into account and might be outdated as for today's patch. In practise, Franklin should perform better than before.

What they did, is create a breathing space. Big boys can help small players by cracking a base, and then the small ppl loot. While also making it impossible to loot you woth a maxed Kvort in one hit.

It's not all broken of Vodafone. I'm writing just now over Vodafone. Most apps work on mobile. Using mobile data with congstar also login in game is possible but bad connection, only EDGE.

if someone is suggesting a different isp or different dns, it is called troubleshooting
troubleshooting will hint to you if it is the app or the isp or the stfc server etc
we've run into issues in the past with dns not permitting access to amazon a necessary component of starting the game
I doubt all games are created equal so when you can reproduce a problem, it is actually a good thing, then you can start changing things (isp, dns, etc) and see if anything helps. when you can definitively say 'att works, cox cable doesnt' or something you know one is blocking something the other is not.

I've noticed a drop in the franklin kill rate after the update, yet I thought it's ability had been doubled? I was killing 25 lvl 32 swarms consistently for the last few weeks for the life of the ship, yet after the update I could only manage 20 with the same ship and crew??

Instead of getting Franklin buffed up, noticed mine was at 16% lesser in term of damage, everything else remain. Previously was able to kill two 32, now barely taking down one. Was able to kill 41 of level 28 swarm, now merely 38 kills.

Tal Shar appears to be bugged in a reverse way of Epic Kirk. If you win a battle with Tal, your opponent receives hull back after the battle. I tested on three ships with Tal, then one only changing Tal out. That last one died and stayed dead.

There is no "Destroyer" class of ship. If you look at the other ships in the store, you see "Explorer" and "Battleship" so this should read "Interceptor".

Mutual death scenario now results in a Loss rather than a victory condition. There was no swarm ship remaining to hit with another ship, so I was cheated of a victory. The detailed battlelog did not show the swarm as destroyed, so maybe this bug is that the ship does not resume flight to be attacked again.

Game restart appears to have fixed. Only had 4 points but killed loads of hostiles last night so presumed the one I killed to test was just another in a long list of viable hostiles.

@crisp cypress I've mentioned this before - it's a visual/server glitch. Try clicking the "eye" on ships and then going back to the list, you'll find the strength numbers change (visually). According to the mods, the numbers the server sees are what matters.

@@ivory vortex The gap created in base raiding by this update is allowing level 30+s to effectively exterminate everyone they can reach beneath them. People without faction ships have no hope of gaining them. They are raided every night and have to start every morning with no resources to build with. It takes 7-10 runs to attack a base that two days ago took 1/20th of one ship. And since they were raided buy a whale overnight they don't have enough for repairs to base raid now. This update will most definitely kill off the game please fix ASAP. The big whales are loving it and exploiting it and wiping entire alliances off the map. Probably the same people that exploit refinery glitches and the like. Higher levels had the benefit of base raiding for their last 10 levels to help them grow. As of right now, anyone below faction ship level has to grow the same 10 levels without the benefit of Base raiding, and on top of that having their station turn to putty after being cracked. Please fix ASAP, don't take my word for it, watch server participation data, uninstall data, dead base numbers, whatever u can, and try to catch it before it's too late. Pass upwards!

The health shown when you scan a base and when you actually look at your battle report when you hit a base is very different and makes it incredibly difficult to find raids. The first ss is the scan before I hit the base. The second ss is the battle report. The third ss is the scan after the 10 min bubble drops. It’s showing a difference of almost 100k health which is very significant.

Hello since the last update a lot of us are having issues joining and starting an Armada. We meet.the requirements but the join button will not highlight. If we use another.ship the join button will sometimes highlighted. However, normally the second ship we are using is weaker than the first. Sometimes players have to reset the game but after a while that will not work anymore so they are being forced to uninstall and reinstall the game. This becoming really irritating, since you can lose that Armada to.someone else who can start the attack.

@worn remnant augment space is hostile no matter what. Anyone who is friendly with the Augments is an enemy to the bounty hunters. No way around it. All you have to do is kill the bounty hunter following your mining vessel and you can mine in peace, as long as you don’t leave the system

I'm not sir this is a bug. Before the update I could user all of my ships collectively to take down a mission boss. This is no longer an option, only two ships aggregate damage before the boss regens 100% and I have to start over. What's the point of having more than two ships?

I moved my ship off a mine to refresh it. When I tried to move it back on, the ship warped to another system (not home) that I had recently had another ship in (though that ship wasn't long back at base by then).
The target point within the other system was at the same coordinates as the mine.

There seems to be a bug where people can attack stations before the shield expires. This has now happened twice during the last 10 mins of the shield. When I join the game to check I find that I HAVE been attacked but my shield is still active. Needs fixing.

I would also like to bring this person's question back up.@placid island Before the most recent update I could take on boss Hostiles with all my ships and collectively bring down it's health. Now after the update the Hostiles health and shields regenerate back to 100% after each attack. Even if the attacks are one right after the other. What happened?

Hey, when opening my Premium Recruit Chests, it looked as if the shards are not adding up correctly on the large hits. Specifically, I had one open that awarded me 15 Klaa shards, but only added 2 (saw counter move from 20 to 22). Is this common? Can it get fixed?

I need help. I have had my K'Vort stuck in Nekosa for 12 hours. I submitted a ticket and got the auto response. I submitted all the pert screen shots. I have done all of the following things: forced restart, clear localization, ask someone to hit the ship and no one can see it there, uninstalled, reinstalled but the game was super buggy so uninstalled again, waited until I was home in good wifi and reinstalled, still no luck, tried on a different device. I restarted each device in there too. I can hit recall and a timer starts, on each of my two devices I tried recalling and keeping the game open until it hit 0. Ship is still stuck in Nekosa. I am getting really frustrated.

Dailies being reset 1 hour early. It is 11:08 PM here in South Carolina. This is at least the second day where I would have completed dailies, but due to the reset, all previous accomplishments are lost, and I have to start over. Not pleased, at all!

@cloud dune yeah i'm glad I read that correctly the first time and didn't buy it. that officer ability is useless, virtually no one uses burning crew in pvp. Situational officers like that are very bad, pvp is often spontaneous and it's near impossible to set your crew to properly counter your opponents crew, especially since there's almost always more than one opponent.

I set my 1 day piece shield. Saw that it went up and then came back 2 hours later to find that my base was drained of 12M Par, 4M Tri and 2.3M Di. Why should a glitch cost me so much. Time to bag this game.

And I bought a weapon module after the update too...
But I can still shoot the same amounts of swarms (tested different swarm levels) as before...

Armadas seem buggy as hell right now. Even if you are in the armada and not in the queue you quite often don’t get involved in the battle. No reason why. Is this a known bug? I have been out of the country for 4 weeks and just returning to the game. This used to work!

Desync issues: Entered a system, as soon as it arrived I made it attack a swarm, but it seems travel was buggy, so it fought the battle, then it went into warp state for the entire time a travel from origin to destination system would take AGAIN

@ancient lynx since you won't want to reinstall and you got issues with your account, it might be best to contact support directly, since you are unable to do it in game, send an email to startrek-support@scopely.io including that screenshot, explaining your situation, and that this screenshot is generated in order for them to determine your playerid (see the greyish faint details above the dialog box)

Hay guys im seeing a lot of uncommon armada targets that when you click on them the armada menu dosent pop up and the number of uncommons that are doing this is alarming because without uncommons those ftp players cant spend time grinding the armadas to enjoy the nice rewards yall left us in the packs

Ships in the Armada queue sometimes don't show the correct power and because of this get placed in the wrong spot in the queue. The workaround that I've found is to click the "eyeball" next to the player which will show their ships true power and after closing the pop up their power in the queue will update.

Ship repair times aren’t synced up. Example: Before tapping repair, the time shows 2h8m. After tapping the repair button, the actual repair time turns out to be 2h25m. It’s even worse on a fully destroyed ship. Prior to tapping repair, the repair time says 2h55m. After tapping repair, the countdown timer starts at 3h28m. That’s before alliance help.
@vagrant inlet I have never trusted notifications to be on time. For mining, I set a timer on my phone 1 min before mine depletion.

📌 ** Not enough resources for repairs / Longer repair times **
The client is under-estimating the repair cost/time by roughly ~1%.
So when you hit that button, you are deducted the actual costs and you get the intended repair times.
If you get an error showing you don't have enough resources, advice is to collect an additional small amount from either generators or hostiles.
The under-estimated values as shown in the client are referred to as a visual glitch and apparently it's extremely hard to find and fix.
At least it is consistent in doing so; so you can expect each repair to be off by the same amount each time.

If you were destroyed away from your base time is added that would have been travel time back to your base with a damaged ship. I've had it happen to me.
