@native oyster So I was wondering the following, came across a Mayflower with the crew Azetbur(c), Chang, Kerla. However captains maneuvre from Azetbur involves kinetic damage, I found this abit odd on the Mayflower which only has Energy. During the battle Azetbur does fire her ability. On top of that Chang did fire his ability aswell due to the hullbreach from Azetbur her captain ability.
My NS only saved 814 dil. Out of the 4K it had. Protected cargo shows 1050.

How is that possible since I am not a member of scopely dev team? Is anyone else noticing that their Ship XP is not being updated? I have 100 Ship XP.I am using TāLaan on a Jellyfish to quickly gain 190 ShipXP per 20L Hostiles. I mentally add up over 1000 XP that should be collected, shown as part of the battle dialog, . Regardless of returning by being destroyed or recalling before that, my Ship XP is still at 100. I have also tried waiting and restarting my app to see if the XP points are updated, but no change.

I will attempt to get a picture of this but I have on numerous occasions had my node mining timer report as still ticking when the node has zeroed. This started happening two days ago I think. This is bad as I will set a timer for 5 min before Iām supposed to zero then check back at that time to find someone messaged me ten minutes prior that I zeroed and has proof. I have also watched my miners do this on four separate occasions. I have talked to other players who have said the same thing. I wonder if the galaxy research is working oddly? Regardless the reason, please fix it. Thanks!

The game is not optimized at all for iPhone 11. Tried to send a support ticket and I canāt even attach pictures bc the buttons disappear once you click your pic. You rotate your phone and you have to choose whether you want access to shields etc on right, or missions etc on the left because the notch covers them all

@vagrant cosmos Looking at your ticket, I'm afraid Customer Support is correct. The roll-out of the D'Vor started several hours before the actual event was launched.
As such, it was possible for you to build it before the event was there to reward you for doing so.

I built it at 12:15 pm eastern time. The event started at 12:00 pm and it was chock full of bugs and crashes
You're saying the payment option was only available when the event had launched as well, so attaching your payment receipt such support your case.

Unsure. I'm not privy to the knowledge of who gets what. If your ship is at the cap (was T5, now T7 I believe), the packs disappear until its possible for you to upgrade again.

you know, the longer you play, the more issues arise, and a restart kinda clears things up

A lot of systems have had a persistently low hostile count since the server break the other day. Is this a bug? Forgot to turn them back up? Or is it new for systems to have very low hostile counts?

Hereās a new bug. When you suspend someoneās account for 24 hours but after 28 hours they still canāt log in. This game so many bugs even your suspensions have bugs.
@turbid cave Normal behaviour. When a system was not visited for a time there are no hostiles. Visit the system, go back to galaxy-view and wait a few minutes. Then they will appear.

Had several players in our alliance claim the raid event never showed up. they are lvl23+ so it should be there.
@real vortex it's not a bug, if their base is not in the same system as your ship the attack button does not appear.
Send your ship there and you will see the button

my experience hasn't been that dramatic but I do experience what you have indicated with ships stuck in battle. It's an out-of sync issue between client and server ... network latency and timeouts are the usual root cause... Long poll sockets drop connection and don't re-establish. restarting the app fixes that

In Beta Penthe there are no LvL 33 - 35 Explorers anymore.....which is a shame .....coz there is no other system with Klingon explorers in that range

On server 130 we still have hostiles in that system. Not as many as there used to be possibly, but we do have them.
Still hostiles there on server 14. More than most systems actually, thereās a full 15 rather than the 3-5 we see in other systems now.
So, can one of the community managers with contact to scopely message me, we have pretty solid evidence that a couple players on our server can replicate the shield drop glitch and are using it to raid.

I was porting into a system with two ships to pull agro. My first ship to enter the system was destroyed as soon as it entered. I thought I missed agro or wasnāt synced but then I noticed my shield was down and still had a couple hours on it left. The guy who I apparently hit said he had recalled a miner and was hit when entering system. I didnāt get a warning that I was attacking a player nor did he.
It is very obvious that with the last major update the refinery uncommon rates were set back to the original lower numbers. The āincreased ratesā a few patches ago were generating at least a small amount of unc in every type. Since that update crystal is basically common drops only.
Is there a recent known issue with having difficulty maintaining an Internet connection? I am having to reboot literally every 10-15 minutes or forced to quit by the game for a ābadā connection. I have a high-speed connection that runs other high-bandwidth apps without difficulty.
This started happening two days ago.
For all who have had ships froze in combat and are unable to recall them, please message me. Scopley customer support is telling me.this is not a problem.

@vital estuary yea I warped in to smack some miners and when I hit them (3 different ships twice the power of the miner) all kf my ships were destroyed and when I loked at the log, it said that I lost to Fed Combat Ship when there was none and I only came into contact with a player miner

@unreal pewter i had a huge problem on talktalk recently, after reviewing my hub logs, i could see my device was constantly switching between 2.5 and 5 connection all the time. I fixed my disconnecting by disabling the 5ghz range.

why is it that when I send a ship in to attack hostiles as part of my dailies that at least 30% of the time the Connection Lost screen pops up, only to find my attack ship destroyed during the reboot? also, why is it that a LVL 29 system for instance is rarely replenished with hostile 29s, leaving 30 and 31s?

It might be a visual bug that the Vahklas isn't listed - but it should show in the Battle Log.
Can you check if you can see whether it's listed there as in doing and receiving damage?

Had a strange bug happen to me. I double tapped to move my Horizon off a node to reset it in Afritalis, but the ship warped out towards Sinisser, which was the last system I was looking at before I moved my view to Afritalis to reset the node.
Once the Horizon finished itās warp and was about to enter Sinisser, it appeared at the coordinates that I double tapped in Afritalis. Thought that was a curious bug.
2 mining bugs
1.click on node in another system, hit mine, ship goes there and goes idle, no other ship present, click on node again, hit mine again, starts mining
- With peace shield up, hit mine on a node in another system with a ship over it(2 ships tried to mine at same time, ship that lost race still there after winner left), ship goes there, goes idle, click node again hit MINE, says are you sure you want to attack it will deactivate shield, there is no scan or attack button, the only button says mine
Both seem to happen at random but I usually have at least 1 of each type every day
Looks like theres a packs issue /discrepancy that should get looked at. Front splash page shows the old 40bp for a lvl 26 faction ship and 34bp for the 28 ships. When you look at the pack contents the numers are now 80bp for lvl26 and 50bp for lvl28 ships

The mechanic that allows automatic miner swapping is broken. Both ships end up idle on the node. Which makes my node available without a fight.
Every time Iāve used it Iāve experienced no problems
Ship A on node. Move off it for a second. Ship B selected then tap on the empty mine.. to initiate the warp to node. Move Ship A Back onto node
Upon arrival ontop of the node from B there is a short delay for Ship A but it has always then warped home for me.
Please expand on how you do it š
So I just noticed a big problem with how critical hits and mitigation work. Just had a ship battle where my average damage was 18,000 and the enemy ship took 1,800 hull damage per hit so roughly 10% damage got through. Dealt 3 critical hits at 80,000 yet only 6,200 hull damage was dealt each time so only 7.5% damage got through.
2 problems here:
#1 somehow critical hits are 2.5% less efficient at doing damage than normal hits,
#2 Apparently mitigation scales up massively against critical hits.
It's my understanding that mitigation is a sum total of shield deflection, armor, and officer defense stats. If this is the case then mitigation should be a flat number and my critical hits should have dealt 62,000 more damage NOT 6,200. What i saw was my damage jumping by 4.7 times, but mitigation somehow magically jumping by over 5 times with no officers or effects that could have or should have caused this. Either critical hits are broken , or mitigation is not what it appears to be.
unfortunately I was raiding a base at the time and thos combat logs got covered up, i'll have to do more testing.

Very minor UI bug: you can press the green button here when your ship (Ship A) is already in the system.
When you use Galaxy view to set courses to places it randomly plops you into the system usually somewhere around the centre
So itās likely related to that part of when you enter into the system and it impulses you towards the middle somewhere
Any ideas how to get around the bug where a ship is destroyed and won't repair? We've tried destroying a second ship but that repaired ok. Also done all the cache clearing and restarts etc

Did you knew something about the return to base bug....mostly if i use the return key to get my ship back to base from a nod....it is flying back to home sys near the base and than struggeling down and try to aproach the base and again and again and again. If i set than a navi point near the base the hole flight from former nod in other system starts again.
This will cost endless time and often nods are gone before returning to it.

if they changed that recently, yes, but I always remember those as 10x level for 10pts, and 25x level +1 for 25pts in regards to generic hostiles

those 61 you see is the amount you saved for the NEXT promotion
39 more and you will see 100/100, and once promoted the second time, it will show MAX
your officers counter on the main screen should be bumped by one as well
If your miner is on a node that will be depleted in 5 minutes and you have enough cargo space to finish it off, and you get destroyed at that moment and sent home.... 5 minutes later you will receive a notification that the ship has depleted its mining spot.
what I think what happends is that in order to ensure push notifications to arrive on time is, that they are queued in before
for example, upon repair, the message gets queued in around 5 minutess before finish and tagged to be delivered at the time the repair normally would finish
if you use speedups on the last minutes, you will see the notification arriving spot on with the normal repair time
you have that problem with several types of notifications, not just repair/depletion
they only queue it in, they don't remove it when it would be no longer neccessary
thats why you also keep receiving push notifications, even if they would be obsolete if you are already ingame
the notification 'engine' doesn't care whether you are already active in game or not
those are minor nuisances they will probably work on at a later stage
Yeah I agree it's minor. Just mentioning it in case it gets added to a list somewhere. Dunno what they use for queuing, could be minor or major to fix.

Why are we getting notification WHILE playing the game? Would this constitute a bug?
Now this is completely and utterly ridiculous. Why not just put in a slide bar or some other way to adjust the amount you want to open OR, hereās a novel idea, why not go ahead and program it to pay attention to your total available and give you better choices.

Level 28 and 0 uncommon crystal dropped in 5 days straight with 2 pulls every time done every refresh. Please set the refinery drop rates back to the improved rates of a couple updates ago. The last big patch nerfed them.

On server 31, Andvaris seems like it's glitching. Have waited hours in system over past few days for hostiles to spawn and nothing shows up. There's just a few untargetable ones

Strange screen glitch. I was hit on a node, hitter claimed I was opl and fair game as per roe. My battle report did not show any opl. On a hunch, I quit game and reloaded. Now, same battle report showed I was indeed 470ish opl. Wisely, perhaps, I checked before retaliating. Screen shots follow...

Only difference between the 2 screen shots of the same battle report is one shows cargo lost, other doesn't. I saved both shots, one before, one after I reloaded the game.
That's a visual bug, if you click on Cargo Lost there it will still show the crystal lost
if you were truly UPL, it would have the words No Cargo Found

I find it useful to restart the app anytime something strange happens, it's a good indicator other things wil be going wrong soon as well.
After accidentially clicking into Ship view from the slide-out menu quickly closed it (pressed the top left button), and now the āShipā top navbar is stuck. No matter what screen I go it is stuck there. Hard reset of the app fixed it.
Restart app=default fix for most all display errors as well as many others.

I think these issues are related to the "Ultra Memory Mode" feature, which is nothing more then a cache for already rendered objects

for me, render issues are more like objects suddenly missing (labels, stations, clickability of objects)

<@&509690795536941056> I have two members of my alliance who cannot be removed or otherwise affected in any manner, and continue to take up space on my roster. This is a bug that has been persistent since the merge in November 2019, and I have sent numerous tickets on the issue without any satisfactory answer - nor has any progress been made in the 10 months since the bug was first reported.
Will any effort ever be made to address this issue? Or should I just give up and accept this bug as a permanent part of my alliance, and of my gaming experience?
@modern orbit once your base is attacked by any ship (realta through enterprise) you get a single 10m shield. after that drops, its up to you to shield up. if the ship that attacks you can get through your docked ships (if any) and your defense platforms they can get rss up to their cargo bay. then the 10m shield.
Once the 10m shield pops, also set a 2h timer
better give up, let it rest and wait for it to solve by itself, saves you a lot of headache
the problem you have is probably too isolated in order to give it priority
after 2h you get attacked? 10m shield again. rinse repeat.

@mighty panther I would mate, but I'm at 68/68 members and it's getting damn expensive to increase the member cap. Also one of the members has actually resumed playing and wants to come back to the alliance, but the bug means there is no way for him to join.

you'd need to find a lot of alliances on various servers for them to give it more priority, as it would also enable them to do some testing/debugging as to what causes it
especially as there is a crapload of issues affecting the entire game
@mighty panther aka for example I hunt Parka for hostile dailies. used to be for lvl29 now for lvl31 but either way there used to be like 30-40 hostiles now there are perhaps 10-20
why would you need 40 hostiles in a system ?
because with them being thick (ever hunted in orion?) you don't have to blast to the other side of the system to get to one

@drifting iris i got attacked approx 1h after a first attack... I though the 10min peace shield was triggered again if the base was fully repaired (that's what the support told me one day)
with combat triangle and proper officers I can get 25 lvl31's in two trips with my kumari .. if I don't worry about either I'll take many more trips. but using a kumari to travel across the system dozens of times vs before mines were added and hostile populations reduced .. is much more of a time suck, I find myself leaving my kumari in the system to wait for new lvl31's to appear .. all day long ..
in fact I start with the high hostiles to make them complete the lower ones as well

if I hit 25 lvl31 I get all 6 daily line items with no further effort
finishing 4 dailies in one go that way

why would I hit a lvl30? then I have to yet an additional lvl31 to get the top tier still
so you having two factions makes you indeed finish 6 dailies

you kill ahostile, you witness a hostile spawned

the weighted random algorithm spawns more likely lower level than higher level hostiles
yeah, but the issue I have is that when you kill a level 29, a ship with a lower or higher level comes back
and eventually you can extinct a given type of hostile if you hit them enough that the random function generates a replacement hostile of a different type
there is no balance in available shiplevels in the systems
the balance in my mind is a weighted random function where 50% lvl-1, 30% lvl, 20% lvl+1 but thats just a guess
if you kill a 28 for example, a 28 should return, keeping the amount of hostiles at a certain level the same
so I'm used to being very happy if someone is hitting lvl29 and I am hitting lvl31, we both help each other

so let me put it another way. my gameplay sucks more with less hostiles. period.

i wrote the following for a reason, to save grief:
I actually look for a system that has planets I can relocate to having the hostiles I need
saves a LOT of time
Escort Method
If a system requires an escord, there are various ways to end up with a ship
in the system free from attack by turtles aka trained fighters in #faction
space or bounty hunters in #augment space.
Note: negative #augment or negative #faction will produce a warning and a
turtle upon entering a system related to that faction. In #faction space,
some systems do not produce warnings until you are ENEMY reputation.
There are three escort techniques:
- 2+ ship escort
- Select the destination system in galaxy view
- note the direction the ship(s) will enter the system
- tap 'view system'
- scroll in the system to the edge nearest the entry direction
- zoom in all the way
- tap once near the boarder inside the system
- switch between drydocks of ships you wish to send into the system, and note
the warp transit timing - taking into account a 5s delay to charge and start the warp transit timing,
ensure that the first vessle into the system is the ship you either want to
turtle farm for ship xp, or destroy on a turtle, or exit the system once the
other(s) arrive - taking into account a 5s delay to charge and start the warp transit timing,
ensure that the 2nd and any subsequent vessles enter the system within a
small window of time after the 1st vessle drops out of warp.
things to note..
#augment systems seem to like to have < 5s delay between 1st and 2nd
#faction systems have been seen to tolerate < 30s delay but keep it in 15s
or you may get multiple warnings and multiple turtles
- distract enemy by hitting turtle
setup: you have a ship that is a turtle magnet but want to call off the turtles. This can be because you blinked and didn't get the 'ship escort' method timing right, or you are trading miners and don't have a ship available for escort, any number of reasons to be in his scenario.
- another ship hitting your turtle turns the turtle magnet setting to them and your ship is now free to stay in the system
use cases:
a) trading miners in a hostile system- enter the system with replacement miner, get warning
- step off the mine with the old miner
- step on the mine with the new miner
- hit the turtle with the old miner (note: death by hostile lets you get a free trip home and keep all cargo even opc cargo)
b) helpful friends - enter the system with a miner, get warning
- friends ship kills your turtle, they become the turtle magnet
- vemet
- a ship entering a hostile system can be killed by a turtle and if vemet is captain
- turtles stop going after the ship after it has resurected
- mostly only makes sense for data mining since joaquin data speed ability is officer maneuver not captain ability

one centrally located around rigel to be near all factions
and one system that has the hostiles I need
others use reloc tokens to get near enemies for quick raiding bases
I don't have the ability to reliably allocate 2 relocation tokens per day to hunting hostiles. I save those for base raids
I use reloc tokens to switch back and forth systems to get my dailies done
I don't raid
the alliance store gets me one, dailies gets me 0, if I raid a base I'm loosing tokens as a daily plan
so I got plenty of tokens

so i can tell you will not be passing my feedback over hostile counts being an issue

I'm seriously wishing many things about this game, and hostile count reduction being a good thing is not one of them. I'm very surprised at the fact that your general response to my frustration is "you admit it gets you to spend more time in the game, so thats a good thing" ..
this game is not made for people that have a lot of distractions
I've gone from start 1/5/2019 to lvl27 without spending money by using smart techniques, powning events, and generally strategizing out the wazoo. it is hard to strategize and be efficient if you get told spend more time to hunt fewer hostiles is a good thing.

I have found ways to deal with distractions and the game. mine resets are the hardest .. vemet cap on my bb handles the problem of timing escords into data .. 4h shields are like water in the alliance store .. swarm dailies get rss now yay .. hostile dailies get speedups to bank for base raids ..

'preciate you taking the time to talk with me, took me more than a few moments to sort the 'facts' from the 'guesses' but I think i overall am more informed now.
It isnāt healthy to spend all your free time sitting around playing this game or any other. Reducing hostile count for dailies is a good thing.

@hidden badger get a friend to hit your base. With any ship, he just needs to damage it a bit, it will unlock after the hit and you will be able to repair and relocate

I had the stuck bug, someone hit me with a realta, i didn't even take any damage, and it fixed the problem.
I have a problem with player's tags overlapping when they're mining. I see two or three different names, there. I have to actually scan the player's ship to see who they are.
Do not have screen shot, but I had my base attacked, I was notified and put a one hour shield up. Phone went berserk 10 minutes later stating I was being attacked, well, for about 8 minutes I was attacked, with a shield activated. I lost millions in res and my shield was down. Why?

@mighty panther iOS. The speakers are on only when in the game. White noise wouldnāt be heard over the music, but that would be irrelevant since Iād expect the speakers to be active to play the music.
Rebooting did not fix it
Thatās why I am reporting it. Something in the game is causing them to be on even when the sound is turned off. The speakers are active at all times when in the game, charging or not.

All this happened and still no autoshield coming up. I had to manually set one up myself.

sorry if been posted but I am sick of recalling ships when counter reaches 0 they are in Z state and have to move them to reset the warp time again. Makes raiding and defending a nightmare
When i come out of drydock, the first hostile I hit does not popup an XP above ship icon. the next battle pops up the first battle XP. and there after the XP popup is for the previous battle. this is confirmed Android and IOS multiple players.

When sorting alliance members by contributions, the number shown is power rather than AP contributed.

@vagrant fjord I used to play on Nox, and then it became unplayable, then switched to BS before it became unplayable. Now Iām back on Nox and found that if I changed it from the default āAndroid 4ā to āAndroid 7ā, it didnāt seem to freeze when I switched to galaxy view, station view etc. Seems pretty stable so far.

I have to restart when I receive the gold reward (Latin) to close the game and open again apparently they go twice in which my reward has not yet reached me and I lost 150 of Latinium! And I think it's not recoverable š

Second time on as many days, put up a 1 day shield before going to bed and wake up to no shield and my base cleaned out! What is up with that? From what I see, Scopley owes me about 90 million in resources. This game is getting so glitchy again, worse that before.
@formal silo you should be able to hit a level 12 as a level 9. At your level you can hit 3 level up and down from you. Do not know why you could not hit back.
In my experience I can hit 2 up 2 down only.
the likely possibility is that he was lvl11 when he attacked you and leveled up since
server 69, Kohva and Andaris and several others swarm systems have stuck swarms. making impossible to do events and missions

Question: When is the shield glitch going to be addressed and fixed? I witnessed it happen this morning. The ticket I recieved is lackluster because it didnt happen to me directly so they cant answer inquiries.
Backstory: I was eyeballing a raw latinum node and the person was 5k plus oc. I was going to go but someone else got there before me. The individuals base was next to the node so I was able to watch this transpire. His(defender) dvor was attacked by a bortas. At the same time his shield dropped. This from what I was told by their leadership, he (defender) was raided of his RSS. This is at no fault of the user. He (defender)had a shield in place to prevent raiding. He should be able to mine freely without consequence of the shield dropping because he didnt attack first as he (defender) was mining with a shield up and did not attack the bortas. Such as leave the node to smash a bortas.
you just said his ship attacked. Doesnt matter if it is first or not. If one attacks, that is a break of peace, and a PEACE shield means that you can have peace contingent upon your peace status. Attacking anything breaks peace status, hence the loss of shield. This is EVERY game ever made on the planet which involves peace shields

But the defender base shield dropped
He wasnt even online and his base then got raided

Yes, I dont know if he put a ticket in. But our server is wary to even sleep mine as many of us are not wanting to chance the fact that their shield may drop if their miner is attacked.

Yes, but the concern is still there. We as the public has to screen shot our activies ie shields before going to bed. If I got others to get their account of what they have done or seen. The issue is still there. Are alliance has been at war before for allegations that we use the glitch. I can't account what goes on other servers. It is hard to pin point the potential cause. Some have stated if you use knish or bardot on the bridge. You are asking for a chance for the shields to drop if you are attacked. But in this case the defender was using augment officers on his dvor. His ship was attacked to get the protected cargo. Subsequently, I also seen the sheilds drop next to the node when it happened. As i was going to attack his miner before the other party did. We as a alliance did not want to be viewed as taking advantage of the situation. As we have been accused before so we did not raid his base.cthe only thing I can do is ask the effected party to get on discord here and post his account of what happened. More importantly his battle log. This occured at 0346 approximately eastern standard time.

Folks, in case of issues, ALWAYS check if it 'solves' itself after restart, the issue might be data/memory related, restarting just ensures all your playerdata gets updated

@silver nova, we have some screen shots that prove this is happening in other cases. @zinc wharf is right about this miner glitch yesterday too. We have a reply from scopely support saying that one of our players initiated an attack that dropped his shield 3 seconds before his base was hit and then raided. He wasnāt even in the game then. They used this to support it was the playerās fault and not a glitch. 3 seconds!! Sheesh.

Warping broken again. Ships get stuck so often it is tedious.
@granite elm, it sometimes doesnāt engage until the 2nd hit on a base, depending on damage inflicted I believe. Also it only triggers once every two hours, although in this case that doesnāt seem to be the issue.

No it isn't, when you buy something for yourself that's not part of your daylie spending to live, it is you buying a gift for yourself, you don't bother wrapping it up, but it's still a gift
@mighty panther Iām not sure itās a ghost fight, but it seems that sometimes ships will defeat an opponent and stay in combat. The only way Iāve been able to resolve it is to restart the game. Sometimes it happens when a guard ship is close and I donāt have time to re-load the game and my ship gets destroyed.

what i see happening is that there is an extra 'battle' right after finishing one when that happends
and it gets unstuck in around a minute
without restart
thats why I mostly pick hostiles as far as possible from the hunter
that if it happends, I got time to restart before the hunter reaches me
if you wiggle another ship or switch to another app and switch back it usually unsticks it
onResume reloads the data, so that might be the reason
still stick to hitting hostiles as far away from the hunter as possible
in case of crashes etc
Is there any schedule or queue where we can find the bug fixing timeframe? I am affraid that the game has more bugs then it can be called relased. Maybe some mid beta.

not going to happen, as mentioning ETA's is evil and can lead to even more frustrations
on both sides (company sides as it puts more pressure on the employees involved in the task that needs to be completed at that date, customer as it would lead to frustrations from them awaiting a fix to arrive on time, murphy messing things up causing the fix not to be finished on time, etc etc etc)

there could be several reasons
either you tried to tier up a ship in the background, in that case, pull the ship back into a dock and restart the game
or one of your defense cannons has an issue, in that case, and yes, it sounds mean: have yourself attacked and your defense cannons destroyed, then repair them and see if that does the trick for you
My base was attacked but survived. No damage except for the 2 ships docked.

also, contact one of the <@&509691205798592532> in private, tell them as well, provide them with the screenshot of that error message, together with your playerid
they have a special place to report this issue

however, because it involves releasing your playerid, I ask you to provide that info to a moderator in private
they will need it to relay your issue to the devs, as they need a playerid for the devs to look at
for debugging purposes trying to find out why this happends

so they have another example in regards to this issue, the more reports the devs have, the more they can look at to find the culprit
if all of that fails, contact support ingame and request your base to be moved to a level 1 system
aka base reset, that sometimes fixes the issue as well

Nah, if your base gets stuck just get someone to hit it. If that doesn't work ticket support. 99/100 it fixes it though š

I've been on the programming side of the equation .. hard to track a problem if you can't find examples. if they can't use a stuck base example in realtime then I guess if we could (as vitamin suggested above) figure out the sequence of events that leads to a base being stuck, that would be hugely helpful.

I am aware. just as players mention to me what a problem this is, i might be able to point them somewhere .. srhug ... I can't be the only one struggling to complete daily hostiles where before it was a chore but doable
for me its not the amount of hostiles
but the fact that when I kill a certain level hostile, another level hostile spawns
there is no balance in the availability
thats kindof the hostile generation algorithm as I described the other day
the reason why you sometimes only see hostiles of the highest level is coz someone cleaned up the lower ones
if a player wans to come in and kill all lvl31 hostiles in a lvl30 system .. great, someone esle can come in and clear off lvl29 hostiles next
but there's simply less of them ot go around so a player can't come in and get their daily anymore, they have to kill the other levels until the one they need appears
On server 150 There are only 2 reds in Lempo (31)... And 8 of us there
or move to a different system and hope to have some left there
so I can kill lvl29 and 30 to get 31 or I can kill lvl32 and lvl30 to get 31 in a lvl30 or lvl31 system respectively
the problem is exacerbaed by the hostile cound
oh well, BFG event seems to be coming up
if the hostile count were higher, a player needing 29 could move in and slaughter, then a bunch of lvl31's would be present, so another player needing lvl31 could slaughter and so forth
so that algorithm will have a lot of work now š
they'll probably use the BFG now to check on that algorithm etc

Since the start of the new events a few minutes ago I have gone from friendly with the Klingons to untrustworthy with ZERO F****ING EXPLANATION!
I like your enthusiasm but as was discussed in another discord server .. on a scale of 1 being 'annoying but meh, can live with it' to 10 being 'I am ready to stop playing for good' .. this hostile count issue is a 7-8 for me.

I could get my hostile daily done in like 1h tops before. if I focused. now? I have to check back or make many trips with mor rss costs for repair and less ships available .. probably costs me 4-5h of focus time per day. this is unaccepable

Restarted the game multiple times to check, still gone from friendly to hostile, and no I donāt have screen shots because I did not expect to have to prove this! There are no logs to check so how can I see what has made this happen
I regularly bought Klingon Recruit II which you can only get at friendly, now gone to -95k to even get to untrustworthy
