There is a 2k daily hostile kill limit, after which you stop earning rep/lootboxes/cargo/xp. It resets at 5 utc, ie. one hour after daily reset.

Should not affect armadas. I'd check again.

I was trying to get some Lat and Gas from the store and wouldn't have noticed otherwise. Unless you pay attention to your resources, it appears like you're getting stuff. It might be broken for everyone and most just don't notice.

No actual gain? That’ll be the daily hostile cap (2000). Or no visible gain? The 2nd number goes up when you level, otherwise it updates when you dock.

The armada speed up doesn’t change the visible timer, but it does shorten the actual wait time to 30 seconds.

Letting yourself get attacked in enemy FKR territory doesn't count as an enemy defeated in the Cerritos event. You need to manualy send your ship to attack a hostile for it to count. I assume this isn't as it should.

There used to be a bug awhile ago that caused summoning to fail with certain % of cost efficiencies. A workaround was to vary your % by changing the crew.

With that kind of points I don't know your minimum required hostile level. For me the minimum level is 35. Maybe check that and see if your auto grinding is matched or higher

Leveling the cube can cause the beam to become stronger. A stronger beam requires more charge to fill up.

What generation is your IPAD? I use IPAD and don’t get thrown to my desk top. If I remember correctly there may have been an announcement that the game will not function on older generations mainly because IOS they are not supporting older operating IOS operating system. Also try turning off Background App Refresh. I had to turn off mine because of attacking hostiles I would get errors.

Messages with fewer than 2-3 characters often disappear as part of some unseen spam filter. Change your callout reqs to something more and it’ll fix itself.

Scopley charges big money for packs but yet at busy times can get 20+ disconnects in an hour. Bugs all the time. I hope the next update actually brings some fixes. well, not really. It effects your gameplay. When the ship is displayed as destroyed, you need to "repair" it first (click on repair) to use it again. For that, you need to have the ressources in stock. You won't spend them, but they need to be there. No problem with the stella, but with bigger ships, this can be annoying. Especially when you use the Titan, and suddenly half your fleet is displayed as destroyed.

So for the last months, I've been reminding the dev team that server 96 doesn't spawn anomalies in FSEP-505.

INCURSION has allowed me to get into server 95 and confirm that the issue seems specific to server 96, cuz I was able to harvest a full load of anomalies for the very first time in about 6 to 8 weeks.

Hmm, ok so the iPhone 12 has 4gb of ram, the 2018 iPad has 2gb of ram. Current prevailing theory is a lack of ram causes the game to crash, presumably when it runs out due to increasing consumption or bugs over the years. Would explain why your phone works better.

Depends which i think. The newest standard iPad is 4gb ram, the next older 3 have 3gb and the 6th gen has 2gb. All 5 of which run iPadOS 17. By comparison my iPad Air 5 has 8gb, and has none of the issues people regularly report here. Maybe the iPhones run the game differently or more efficiently, i don’t know.

You may have hit 2,000 hostiles since the limit reset (autogrinding counts). You won't be able to get loot/xp/rep from hostiles until that limit resets later today at 5am UTC, 1 hour after daily reset. Event scoring is unaffected.

If you reach a limit for certain gifts, when claiming, you get a speed up instead and you can no longer claim that day even if you fall below limit. This is frustrating and unfair, especially if you have a claim all option. Why not deactivate the gift until it is available?

There are actually two exchanges, but only one shows up at a time. When claiming the good one, it goes on cooldown and the speedup exchange pops and is available. You can claim that one, or ignore it, it won't affect how long the good exchange is still on cooldown.

So here's a new one, at least for me. I tried installing the PC version of the game on my Windows 11 machine. I have been unable to make my way through the stupid tutorial to even try loading my main account; each time I open the game, various graphical glitches occur and end up with the game stuck in a state where it will not accept any input whatsoever. Idle animations and background music continue, but the program is for all intents and purposes unresponsive.

I finally decide to try uninstalling and reinstalling it. Open the launcher, hit "Uninstall", then "Install" again. That finishes, I load up the game...and it picks up in the same exact part of the tutorial that I was stuck at before the uninstall, with the same glitch! WTH?

So I close everything down, go to Windows Control Panel and uninstall it from there. I delete the installer file I downloaded from the STFC home page, then I search for any remaining files on my PC with "STFC" or "Star Trek" in the file name. I find a folder "Users/Username/AppData/Local/Digit Games Studios Ltd_/Star Trek Fleet Command". I delete this entire folder as well. Should be good to go, right?

I go back to the STFC home page, click the link to play on PC, download the installer, and start over. Launcher installs, does its thing, I hit the PLAY button...and I'm right back at the SAME PART OF THE TUTORIAL and stuck on the SAME GLITCH.

I am officially out of ideas. Anyone got anything?

The very first time I opened it, it asked if I was an existing player, and I tried to log in. It just said my credentials were bad, opened five browser tabs with the Scopely support page, and if I try to switch focus back to the game, it immediately swaps back to my browser and opens five more tabs.

Also, the "tutorial" starts with the combat simulator, for some reason.

But no interactable button by the yellow prompt arrow.

So I've been wondering why this happens at times when I'm certain I selected a ship. Turns out if a ship has no captain, you click/tap it to assign the ship a captain to use, it will go back to the last active ship you had, not the ship you just selected to put the captain on. This occurs as well when you use the arrows to change docks when looking at the manage screen. This feels as a bug because people will come back out expecting the ship they just adjusted to be the one selected whether it was via clicking on a no captain ship or changing via arrows in the manage ship screen

You’d need to test that a few times. If you did any of that cloak reveal research you would have a chance to reveal your attacker. One data point doesn’t make for a convincing report when there is rng involved in the outcome.

Bug report: During wave 6 of a wave in Yaderpa (40) we had double hostiles spawn. The duplicate hostiles were slightly offset on the screen. Not a visual glitch, we could engage with both sets and they all triggered the attack on the borg sphere. Server 9.

Have an issue with mission "It is only logical part 4" Section Get past T'Kin's security. I destroyed the mission hostile but it did not vanish and the mission will not progress. Instead the mission hostile is still onscreen and shows zero health and when you scan the mission hostile it says it is still in battle. Has been stuck like this for hours. Bio nueral circuitry research(starships) doesn't work. Level 1 is 20% reduction in research time. "Strengthened sensor reduction" shifted from 2days 22 hours to 2 days 20 hours. Not even close to 20% no matter how this is spun. 40% = 2 days 17 hrs. 60% = 2 days 15 hrs

it's not a total reduction, it's an efficiency calculation that is rolled in with all your other research time reduction bonuses

The game has become unplayable on iPad. Crashes every 1-3 minutes if actively playing the game and manipulating the screen. Seems to happen when the game is loading information like when you enter system view or select a red which loads visual data about the selected object. I can see frame rate drops as the game tries to load data and then it crashes. On iPhone it runs much better although it does still have a tendency to crash in Xindi systems but the crash doesn’t happen as quickly vs iPad.

You have to be careful with basing because there are no guardrails for this. Hostiles can also spawn in token space if you are based adjacent.

Hitting 8472 or hirogen elites may not be a good option for some because warp range limitations. In that case best option is the hirogen hunters
