For the 3 day Bashir events, has anyone else not gotten credit for the overall event after completing all 3 dailies? My count still says 2 points when I’ve completed all 3. Normally once each sub-event completes the overall event updates (even if slightly delayed), but not this time. I seem to have not gotten credit for Day 2 completion.
Sent in a ticket but we all know how long that takes to get an answer if any. Just wanted to see if anyone else experienced this glitch.

For battleship hunter, if you're hit by a Romulan trained fighter (I'm in a valkhas), the event triggers and you get points. If you attack the battleship in the valkhas it does not.

Ship grade might be meaningful, I'd try ensuring that a sacrificial lamb is starred, like a G2 jelly. That's lower power, hull, and grade to cover more possibilities.

So, apparently at some point today, none of my ships can collect cargo from destroying hostile ships. Cargo level just remains at zero. Kinda screwed up, as I have now lost out on over 30k of frequency modulators, can’t even collect Actian Venom with my Mantis that I just launched yesterday.

That’s what I am talking about. Considering I auto-grind all night while I sleep, it digs heavily into that 2k kill limit, since I am running 3 to 4 ships on auto.

Never figured out why Scopely runs so many events that require players to do so much, kill so many hostiles, etc, and then set a limit on them saying, “Well, we’re sorry, but due to your high kill number, we are taking away your ability to collect cargo after said number of kills.”

Based on my testing, it’s always the lowest… except when the lowest is the host. Then it’s the lowest except the host, then the actual lowest.

So, if host is smallest ship, they die second.

There are some systems/faction reqs that are buggy and killing a hostile of a level too low to count, will still count for that daily task. It's a player-beneficial bug that's not often talked about.

No you simply went so many rounds with your pilum. It’s not a bad thing. Same happens against 49 traders in the capital system with G3 epics.

The only time it’s a bad thing is when it’s ripping out huge chunks off your hull health

Dear scopely… when are you going to fix the bug where we can’t accept the current build on our starbase so that we can build additional modules, including the control module so that we can actually participate in this arc’s starbase events? Yes, 2k per day before it stops benefiting you with boxes, loot, faction rep, etc. It's apparently to combat botting. But it does still count for events.

Having an issue while grinding for Tritanium. Been basically killing everything in a lower system to build up Tritanium. Brought my ships home and went back out...now every kill, my cargo stays at zero. Even if I scan the ship, say it has 100 tritanium, once dead, my cargo stays at zero.

The usual causes are: full cargo, or you've hit the 2k daily hostile kill limit. That said, farming hostiles for trit doesn't seem all that great of a source.

You need to grind the BP in low level systems for yourself (Orion BP's in Nausicaa and Turas BP's in Herias for instance) 🙂

Since the incorrect BP pulls people saw earlier in the month I’ve noticed few, if any ship BP pulls from Holographic card pulls.

Polling friends and Alliance members via PM without leading questions it seems few have gotten BP’s in the last week or two, I’ve not seen any ship BP from the last 2 leaderboard / sms events that have them when handing them in.

It seems like admirals are impacted by something related to assaults. When my base is attacked, I am unable to repair it until I either clear localization or restart the game. This means someone can easily get 2-3 hits in before I can repair so I am forced to burn bubbles.

Another symptom is when my STATION is hit, my starbase shows that it is damaged and has a repair button. It was NOT assaulted and attempting to repair does nothing.

There’s been no reported issue here about the field training not giving rewards, contact CS and ask them if you received those rewards, it’s highly likely you claimed them and didn’t remember

@spiral venture Thank you for the information. You are correct in that you need the epic shards as well. That is a huge mistake by Scopely not including those in the purchase. They hopefully just forgot and will send a gift chest to fix it next week. However I purchased 8 shards and I only received 6. The hanger shows 53 of 75 when it should be 55. I had 47 shards when I started and can be verified by the number of epic shards I have. I purchased 47 shards during the first DS9 arc. I was upset that Scopely didn't have it in the event store so I could finish getting it. I will probably have to open a ticket to get it fixed.

They decided to split the shards into separate folders as everyone doesn’t have exactly the same amount of epic shards as the specialised ones so you can claim them individually to add them up and potentially save on spending on unneeded shards

In addition to scoring, they put the system for "Feeling Naughty" out of reach for some. Says I have to go to ST-9417, which is warp 110. Only ships I can get there at level 41 with Ghrush and Cadet Scotty are Amalgam and Mantis, and they aren't strong enough to kill hostiles there. How hard would it have been to put it in a level 40-41 system where more people can go? This isn't the first event where they make it hard to get to a system at certain levels, but for a Christmas event, you would think they would have been more thoughtful. Thanks for ruining it yet again Scopely!

The limit's there to restrict the amount of value that grinding can give out per day. It's 2k hostiles, after which you'll no longer receive cargo/lootboxes/rep. Events still score. It resets at 5utc.

Impatient? Playing Stfc for over 3 years now, there are bugs that exist for years. The only way they fix something fast is when it costs them money.
Players should expect features to launch bug free and if there's a bug it should be hot fixed asap and not at the next arcfall at best.

I am just lost at how getting a ship stuck then trying an uninstall and reinstall put me on a new player id. I’ve provided what I can based on the help doc guidance. I think uninstalling deletes most data connected to the app but I'm 100% wrong. For future reference, if you ever have a stuck ship, contact support as they are the only ones who can fix it.

I believe I did have a scopely ID connected. Been playing on that account for 18 months. However know my email and game center account are pulling up a new player id and account. Again, hopping they can remap with my OG user name and scopely account. I cannot imagine it full out disappeared from their servers. I really hop not

I have no idea how to find that original Player ID. I just looked at in-game purchase receipts and not listed there

Ships check the battle logs, ships dont deal constant damage, and kirk’s ability only sometimes activates

When scopely does things it just does not make sense. Why would the bracket for dailies be so large and other events not. Might as well be open season

So there's 2 things that could be going on.

1. is just variability in combat. Some times you get lucky in dealing crits and kill them faster, sometimes you don't. Sometimes you'll get lucky and not take many crits, other times you won't. There's also a range of damage in each hit, though less variable than crits. And with swarms if you don't kill them fast enough they can hit you with a heavy shot (which ties back to how lucky you are with damage range and crits).
2. is Kirk. If you aren't at max health stat bonus then Kirk as captain can provide a healthy boost to your Shield and hull health, though it's only while morale is in effect and so final health numbers in reports can then be overstated from this.

You should consider a different crew though, Kirk is doing very little for you really. I'll assume you don't have Pike and Moreau, so cadet Uhura, cadet McCoy and T'laan is probably the one to try.

Well they're all level 28 in the screenshots above.
But yes, I'm saying that there's several reasons why damage to your ship can vary.
If you get lucky with crits you kill them faster: less damage taken.
If you aren't lucky with crits and kill them slower you may be getting hit with their big gun, which is slow firing: more damage taken.
You might get unlucky and they hit you with more crits: more damage taken.
And Kirk's captain maneuver can inflate your ending shield and hull damage values, making it look like you took less damage than you really did.

There are variables in combat. Damage values have a range, almost never are they static. This adds some variability.
There's also a chance for critical hits, which can greatly impact the damage in/out depending on how many happen.
And not all weapons cause the same damage. So if you're on the round 11/12 point you can take noticeably more damage by going in to round 12 where these swarm fire their first heavy shot.

There is variability in every fight, it's just not always noticeable.
If you're around round 12 then you may be avoiding the heavy weapon in and battles and not others
You may also be more/less lucky with crits, which has a 10% chance per hit from swarm to cause an extra 50% damage for example.
And Kirk's captain maneuver can cause your shield and hull health values to be overstated at the end of battles, as well as allowing your shields to last longer and incur less hull damage.

That sentence doesn't make sense to me.
But this is the 4 weapons that level 28 clusters have. Note that each weapon has a range of possible damage and a crit chance for extra damage, and that weapon 4 hits significant harder (and so if you're right around 12 round battles can make a noticeable difference in the outcome).
And again, Kirk's captain maneuver impacts your hull and shield health. If he doesn't proc you may lose all shield and take more hull damage, if he procs only part way through your shields may last longer and lead to less hull damage at the end, and if he procs at the end you could have falsely inflated health numbers in the report. This makes the comparison quite terrible to try and make.

This might simplify the Kirk thing for you.
Identical ship and crew, only difference is that Kirk has morale in one and not the other, and suddenly my shield and hull health jump up noticeably. This makes it impossible to directly compare these numbers without first taking in to account the effect of Kirk's maneuver in the battle

Because weapons have a range of damage. For example, for a weapon that has a range of 90-110% of hps. If you're lucky you can kill it in one shot, but if you are unlucky, it will take two.

If it lives one round you take x damage, if it lives two rounds you take x+y damage.

it says zero because your ASB reached zero, the limit is on the plasma processor, not on the nodes, if you move the ASB you will start collecting again, and see an amount dependent on your plasma processor

Since many months there is a bug in the officer presets. When you receive a new slot through syndicate and save a Crew there, the slot above it will be deleted (see screenshot).
