Anyone having an issue with Windows 11? I updated W11 this morning and now Launcher crashed every time. I tried re-installing Launcher to no avail. Just re-installed Windows 11. and a fresh copy of Launcher. Same thing

im running Win11 and installed the game previously on it, but couldn't get it to launch with my google account so I scrapped it... but... it did launch. keep in mind that was in november. (I am told that I should bind my player id to the scopely id, but decided to go a different route so I didn't pursue that).

I did have the .NET Framework installed and current Win11 patches.

so, just reporting that the bug that "leaves my ship on a mining node after I leave it" is alive and well, and occasionally rears its head... restarting the client app fixes it, but if Im trying to beat other players back to a node this becomes a problem. CS says its being "investigated", but this has been around for years... and I just wondered if theres anything I can do to help spur this along.

Did something happen to the PC Battle Log export function? It doesn't open up like a .csv file should any more.
It is now being exported as "tab delimited" rather than "comma separated" (there are no commas in the export file at all).
Why the change, did someone change a parameter on the export?

They made this change a while ago now.
This was actually the commonly suggested fix from players, which means the devs know about as much as CSV files as the average player 😧
The issue was that there are a couple of abilities that contain commas in their names, which without proper handling cause the CSV file to not be properly formatted.

some applications can handle it as is, no issues. Desktop installs of Excel tend to need the "text to columns" function, or (my preference) you can rename the files to .tsv and set Excel as the default handler.

I was told by CS I have to build a turus to get passed that item in field training. I don’t have bps for the turus and they said I would have to hit hostiles to get them. I hit about 70 hostiles level 9-13 and got zero turus. One fortunate. One corvette. There’s no way I can grid a turus and there’s no other way to get bps. I play this game for fun and it’s not fun hitting tiny ships to try to build a tiny I barely have time to finish events, and rarely get dailies done. I would have freaking bought turus bps if I could. Now I’m just fed up and insulted. A game should be fun not insulting and irritating. Im not sure what to do. Of all the hills to die on, this one seems ridiculous but I can’t seem to get over it. Is anyone else stuck at turus?

Yesterday I bought 1 Franklin Warp Conduit form event store(ship parts). Additionally I built shipyard at 18 lvl so I end USS Franklin part 2 and get 1 Franklin Warp Conduit.
I tiered up Franklin(1 lvl) what cost me 1 FWC(2 -1 = 1) but I cheak and have 0. what in my opinion is a bug.
What to do?

Indeed - the issue we have had is that on vanilla Android and versions like OxygenOS where interference is minimal, it does absolutely everything for you. On Samsungs and other more intrusive customisations we have devices crash, lock up, refuse to enrol, inconsistent functionality “because Knox”…. It absolutely decimates their credibility in an enterprise space IMO. Anyhow, the point in this context is the OEM may have done something lovely with Android that ruins STFC. More than it already is 🙈😅

personally, thats the "power of"/"problem with" android... because a lot of it depends on who you got your phone from and what build you have... i.e. you cant uninstall certain apps without using ADB because your OEM locked them in (maybe an NFL app that Verizon got paid to install in your phone), etc and the OEM and Dealer can both customize your phone with their own specific thoughts on what is good for you... 🙂 😦

So, there is a bug with star bases being able to be targeted after they have been undeployed.
A couple hours before this happened yesterday, we had undeployed our star base (because we didn't want to participate in this terrible 'feature'/event, but I digress). That is shown in the first screen shot.
We got the announcement that we were being targeted, and low and behold, there is an incoming attack. We then ended up not getting hit, so put it out of my mind.
Then today, I realized I could ask that alliance if they had been able to target us and kick off an assault, and they had, but then nothing happened at the end (third screenshot of the conversation with their admiral.)

"Your account has entered a corrupted state and you will be unable to login" This is when they launched back to back attacks on another ASB. This is one of our whales that is kicked. ASB screen is not "clearing" between redraws. The go button when there's an assault (via combat button) doesn't work for everyone. Assaults themselves, once battle commences doesn't actually attack the base. A battle report is also not given after the assault completes (at least i don't see one; the whole alliance should have access to that report).

The ASB is totally bugged again. When the ASB was initially introduced, my alliance could not properly access it for weeks on end with little acknowledgment from Scopley through customer service or otherwise. By the way no compensation was offered either despite all the members of my alliance missing out on the various competitions and benefits of the ASB.

With this arc’s ASB issue, all of the members of my alliance are experiencing new but similar catastrophic ASB access failure. Scopley customer service has not been successful and the only response has been to close the ticket in the middle of the night with a suggestion to restart the game. The restart did not fix the issue.

I like the ASB concept, but very frustrated about how we are treated as customers in this game. Scopley please help🤷‍♂️

However, that whole concept is still complete BS, tranferring the concept to e.g. armadas would mean you still get a percentage of loot even if you loose. Logically, it makes sense, but the game isn't designed like that. When we explode on hostiles we keep all the loot in our cargo holds, and none of the officers die. That's not really logical, nor realistic. At some point, we suspend logic and go with what the game presents to us.

70% is usually a network issue, they should try rebooting the router. Barring that, attempt to use a different one.

Check the node you are on if you have the harvester. The 0 or 3,433,799 is just a graphic issue from the last node you mined. But once you get on a node it does correctly mine after 1 min. Screenshots please of your ASB interior and the plasma storm you are on

It didn’t get turned off, the nerf is that it now applies the percentage as described (70% at max) instead of twice as much as it used to do (ie 140% at max). I don’t think there is a definitive list of officers that don’t work but generally officers who only trigger at start of combat (eg uncommon tilly) seem to be the ones that tend to not get boosted.

Most of the issue appears to be a byproduct of the mutliple Apex hostiles; now there’s next to no explorer churn so RNG for the exo rolls much less frequently.

That being said, that’s an explanation, not a fix; Actian space is something the Ecoms and mods are very vocal about 🙂

Here’s what I have learned in three years of playing this game. You can report a bug and have support discredit what you’re reporting. Durning the Dax ranking event, I spent over 1k rare credits. Chess tells me it shows no records of me spending any credits. I’m telling him that explains why I received no points for my solo armadas. His reply is that they record real time and blow off my claim. So why report anything for support to discredit it?

If events are broken and people dont get the last milestone and if purchases in the event shop do not work its normal to get more tickets. during this season of the year this is even more a challenge i get that but closing tickets 1 day after you have answered again with an auto response doesnt make anything go away but it makes you loose customers and gets you bad reviews.
That the company cares less because of a multi million income with this IP we all can see but its still not correct sorry

Went through the whole process already short of completely deleting and reinstalling the game

Yesterday my game wasn’t even letting me obtain RSS from anything except mining for just about 4 hours and I had lost out over 300-400k inert nanoprobes if not more that hot fix has caused wayyyyyy more issues I’m so looking forward to y’all getting to work fixing the game

Lately it’s been very possible with the POTM event. That’s why I mentioned it

I do roughly 1,300 kills a day without the POTM event but it wouldn’t explain even with hostile chasers my ships weren’t taking an ounce of hull damage or picking up any amount of rss or dropping a PVE chest if I had hit the limit I would most definitely understand the PVE chests but not the lack of loot from killing borg probes with a freshly minted T8 Vidar

cerritos is apparently bugged with cloaking. I was attempting to a rare 41 solo armada, and I cerritos boosted my Augur and attempted to cloak it but it gave me a 7m30s cooldown, no cloak ever happened. I tested this once again outside of solo armada space, i still recieved a 7m30s cooldown on cloak, but I did have cloak on this time. another alliance member reported the same issue within solo armadas. my theory is its adding max cloak duration+cooldown time=displayed cooldown time which seems wrong lol but ships not cloaking with an solo armada circle, seems like a issue.

What’s up with new hull research calculations? They used to match shield research buffs and rounded to powers of 5 like 10%, 20%, 35% etc but now I see things like 14%, 26% etc. I don’t think they’re giving me more than what was previously shown. Is this a bug?

Was battling at a raid, I didn't have the option to repair my base guns unless I restarted game. The button just wasn't there until I refreshed. Had to burn a bunch of shields in a situation where I could have easily repaired guns and kept on going. Happening to more than just me in my alliance. Very frustrating.

To be sure that everyone score, best way is to send a baby ship as 4th. Very little, a baby jelly for exemple.

Debatable. CC's have been wrong about how several things work, because they either assume or don't test properly.
I would be surprised honestly if it did work with the baby jellyfish, but it needs volume testing to know.

The Mantis protected cargo research applies incorrectly to all ships in dock, the out of dock value is correct for everything but the Mantis

Whatever was changed with the combat update, it had completely messed up armada combat. Crews and groups are now either doing half the damage they were previously or taking twice the damage they were previously. This seems to be applying to all armadas. Please look in to this.

@umbral nexus & @viscid cloud How many times do I need to explain that this doesn't work as you describe it (tested on Android and PC versions) - once the switch is turned to "Out" it remembers it for about 5-10 min and then it's returning to "In"... I have tried closing the game right after changing it, 5 min after changing it and it's still on Out, 10 min after changing it and it's still on Out, 15 min after changing it it's no longer on Out, ... regardless of that each time I start the game it's status is always on "In".

Has never let me join starbase assaults yet. Click to join it changes view to off the base, or says ship unavailable. Try to start an assualt and wont scan and has no option to attack just normal box saying occupied. Nope it’s never been that way. It’s always been get tetryons from the gift chest and the tetryon radiation from the daily goal

That is how you complete all the research for that loop

Anyone notice a change in win % for away team missions? There's one that used to be ~95% success chance every time I ran it, but now it's ~85% with the same officers. It's as if my officer stats have dipped a little bit. Alliance doesn't have any territory officer stat modifiers so it's not that.
