Jellyfish is G4 materials, you'll probably want to be scrapping G3 faction ships after you're doing dark space to supplement your refinery..
Oh and I already have every prime available before lvl39 research opens up

Anyone can benefit, but yeah they need to ease the requirements to progress at those levels.
They also aren't against easing the requirements, which is something they've done for lower levels ages ago. I'm sure in time, when the finish 40+ 😂 that they'll ease the requirements for progressing somewhat (though end game will always be primarily for whales, or they'll need to add more content again..)
Biggest roadblock atm is still uc crystal which they are locking away behind these new formats.
Easing low and mid lvl requirements is just a way to bottleneck the playerbase at the mid-30s forcing the "pay up or gtfo " model of play

I get cynicism, but easing it for low to mid players is still an improvement to a lot of the players. It's the cynicism mixed with only seeing your specific personal POV that's leading us to an impasse. To me it sounds like you're essentially saying that everything sucks and they'll never do anything that'll benefit the players, and if it does it's secretly not really, and while it's unfortunate if that's how it is for your gameplay it's not the case for what I would say is the majority of players.
And it's certainly no reason to rubbish ideas that could add additional avenues for progression into the game.

Of course, using shields solves everything ... come on, we are going to spend all the shields to prevent an abuser from stealing from us everything that has taken us so long to achieve

Faction hunt is great for rewards but at high levels it's a 2hr grind with warp times to do all 3. Too many actually gets annoying tbh
Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, fix it that Lat refinery rewards us with D'Vor parts once we have one ship maxed. Where is the motivation to work on another ship when i cannot get parts to upgrade it? and beside that, why should somebody who has invested time and cash in to maxing out a ship be chastised for it? There is no clear reason for it as i can see, and no warning of it happening.

@west mesa PvP isn't designed to be fair in this game 🤷♂️ even players at the same level with the same ship, P2W wins. And if you put in more restrictions then you limit ability to raid (an important way to generate resources later in game), clear miners (already a complaint that you can't clear low level miners), and even defending raids (already your alliance member can be raided by someone that you are physically unable to attack). They've already reduced the PvP range at lower levels, buffed the stations to minimise issues of people getting cracked by a survey ship (because it was too hard to leave a ship home, like what we all used to do).
What they should do instead imo is change mechanics to reduce the impact on non-consensual PvP and implement proper PvP systems so that people can do something more fulfilling than clearing miners when they're bored 😴
If you're being raided: shield 🤷♂️ they're provided up to 12 hours per day freely in game, and you can get more with alliance credits. You don't need to use them at lower levels and you don't need to use them 24/7, so you should have a stock of shields and credits by the time you really need them..
They also awards plenty of tokens to help mitigate the issues of being raided. While it would suck to lose my 950m steel, the 3b I have in tokens would keep me going while I built stock back up from events (because after a point events and raiding are the only real viable way to get resources without buying packs).
PvP should be expanded and enriched. Resources should be more easily acquired. Griefing should be minimised. And of course bugs should be fixed, always fun when you can't actually repair your station 🙄
please for the love of god add a button to select auto hostile kill

Is there a power-ranking across all servers somewhere?
Auto killing hostiles is a bit silly but the idea of selecting a daily and a assigning it to a ship isn't. Once your ship receives it's assignment it could become locked out for a certain amount of time let's say approximately 50% longer than manually hunting. This could even work for mining, select a ship decide how much you want it to mine then it does just that free from pvp but with the caveat that it takes 3x as long to gather resources that way. So if you want fast mining/hunting you gotta do it yourself but you also have the ability to redirect those ships if needed, if you want safe/convenience the ships are locked to that task until finished and it takes longer.
I feel like people would just go to sleep or work and reap rewards from doing nothing..
Eh I'm just spitballing...there would need to be risks to balance the ease like having your ships bound to a single task all day could leave your base vulnerable to attack etc
I'm going with add additional mines and increase mining rates generally. Mining event seems more of a pain than most other events, most griefing is around interrupting miners, resource generation from mining is a joke, and watching people complain about mining is painful 😂 seems like it would fix a bunch of issues in one move
Additional drawbacks could be hostiles or materials killed or gathered in this way wouldn't count towards events or only count at a reduced value

Engineering officers could be sent to gather small quantities of basic rss, science for materials and leaders for xp, shards etc....quantity and quality would depend on the officer plus the difficulty of the mission selected

It'd be a nice little fire and forget thing to set up in the morning. Those officers used would obviously be tied up for the duration of the mission so an element of strategy comes into play too

If scopely is wondering where the profit is, how about a new building. The shuttle bay. This would act as your mission hub and the difficulty and quality of rewards would be linked to the buildings lvl (also max number of away missions per day maybe?)...again I'm just spitballing I'm no game developer but it sounds good to me and fits the star trek aesthetic

@crude sentinel I've been trying to see it from his point of view for a while, as well as trying to write it in a way that doesn't look like a small child, but since it can't be the first or the second.
the game is no longer fair since people from more than 4 higher levels can attack you, but it is still bearable, you can still recover and move on, the problem arises when someone 10 levels above you attacks you and your defenses Even with a ship at the base, nothing can be done, leaving the ship of the player who attacked you intact.
leaving you so frustrated that if you cannot put your shield on before you run out of resources, it is very difficult to decide to continue playing and recover from the attack knowing that if you are careless, however small, you will be attacked and you will run out of resources again.
And you don't have to believe me, just search in some systems how many players of levels 20-24 are without resources and inactive because they have left the game.

@west mesa trust me we understand, the pvp lvl banding is universally agreed to be suckier than a turbocharged vacuum cleaner. It's unlikely to be changed though
@west mesa I'm in the same boat, whales on my server up to level 46 can hit my station, I doubt all ships docked would stop them 😂 I don't bother leaving ships hope because it's actually more expensive to repair my ships than for them to take a bite out of my station 🤷♂️
The people quitting because of it aren't spenders, the people using it to their advantage generally are...guess who's side scopely is on?
And yes I know that without the krill the whales will leave, but scopely doesn't care.
The pvp gap used to be +/-5lvls but the whales grew too fast and ran out of easy targets so scopely changed it for them to make gameplay more "interesting and challenging"
I came up when the PvP range was worse, the stations were weaker, had my Kumari killed in station by a K'Vort 😂, resources and materials were given out less, and before I was in an alliance that earned much alliance credits. I have too many shields now, and still try not to use them 😅
That's "interesting" for the whales and "challenging" for the rest btw
They have since narrowed the pvp band slightly and the station improvements make you harder to crack but for low to mid 20s it's not generally enough to help them.
On the flip side, before the most recent changes most high lvl bases were impenetrable to anything but a maxed faction miner or strong warship. With the new raiding mechanics if you can crack a whale you can drain him with whatever pos survey you have (until he comes online and burns the galaxy to ashes anyway)
It'd be nice to have an option to set the timer on your miner to mine your protected cargo limit, so you know how long it be before your oc
I think it’s easy to answer most issues with a little AI. We spend hours n hours working on upgrading officers, however they are too dumb, they couldn’t tie their own shoelaces. Now if we could give a bridge captain a mission, that would advance the game massively. It could start with something simple, tell Kirk to protect a survey ship while it’s mining. Tell Tpring to keep mining crystal, I.e. refresh the stupid mine already. No point having captains that can’t take and give orders.
I believe that devs must work seriously on optimization, and on the continuous bugs reported, first of all on the need to exit the game continuously because after 10 min it freezes.
Can we get 2-4 borg 10 of 10 officer shards with the top tier mining reward on lat Monday events?

I need a self-destruct button. Get my ship back home quickly when there is no bounty hunter nearby. Also be cool to use against more powerful players. Warp core overload and take out and/or damage ships within a 3second impulse range. Explosion size relative to ships warp range.
Add a chat section for your allies or include allies in your alliance chat so its easier to communicate with them in game.
Add the ability to buy multiple peace shields at a time. IE, ability to buy 1/3/5 4H shields for 20/60/100 or 1/5/10 4H shields for 20/100/200
I had an idea I call "Overwatch" (Also, perhaps, "Escort") it goes like this: Basically, the ability to assign a Warship to a miner until it's unassigned - this warship would follow the miner wherever it goes to mine. While on a non-zero node, if the miner is targeted by another ship, the warship assigned to the miner would attempt to intercept it.
If the attacking ship withdraws, the assigned warship withdraws to the miner. and takes no further action.
If the attacking ship continues it's attack, it must first get through the assigned warship, and then the miner.
If the miner drains the node to zero, the warship automatically withdraws to it's base.
Scopely could also implement a system where tokens could be earned by an alliance that would allow another alliance member to assign a warship to overwatch a miner belonging to the same alliance, but also using the same attack conditions as normal (For example, a lvl 38 warship would not be able to "Escort" or "Watch over" a lvl 20 miner.
The warship would take no action if the miner was stationary and not on a node, but WOULD take action if the miner was actively mining, or was in motion.
The tradeoff is that the warship is effectively useless while providing overwatch and must recall to base before it can be "unassigned" to overwatch/escort duty. this would allow the player a choice of a "Safer" mining experience, or the ability to better defend their base, or go hunting for other player ships, etc.
@austere sand so killed nothing but level 40 veterans ships and this is what I pull from 31 chest. I mean really valk, khumari and kher BP? I think you guys really need to review the awards, not one player hitting veteran ships need these blueprints.
Give us a way to trade them in or something. I have almost 900 khumari BP that are just wasting space and data in my account.

@austere sand the refinery needs some serious tweaking, latinum is fine 2 chests is double 1 chest, but for G3, its not, and there doesn't seem to be any difference in change of getting uncommon or rare when opening more chests, i usually actually get more opening 2 for 1750 then a do opening 3 for 12K, or 4 for 75K!
You think G3 is bad I agree but think Borg refinery takes that cake it is 5.6 x the original cost for 1 extra chest

I got a suggestion how about Scopely actually listening to us who pay your wages and do things that we ask. 1: a 5 lvl up/down range that you can attack ( not a 41 jelly that can destroy a 30 base in one hit ) 2: increase the amount of uncommon so that we can upgrade our ships to at least stand a chance of fighting back. 3: reduce the price of the packs in the store . I can’t be the only one that thinks you only care about the idiots that are lining your pockets so us that can’t/won’t pay your extortionate prices can’t progress in the game.

It would be awesome to see resource specific packs available. Frustrating with elite packs giving a ton of 2* resources when it its time needed or wanted. Should be able to just purchase 3* crystal, ore and gas
Stop putting hijacked ship bps in epic armada reward chests. I don’t want nor need a mayflower at ops 33. And now I have 40 blueprints for a ship I will never want or use, and I can’t even get rid of them in a way that is useful.
It would be nice to have a “collect” or “collect all” button that would collect all your resources.

It would be helpful to have a “survey” button within the news channel. I’m thinking of ideas as they pop up and the survey screen doesn’t show up for days. Or, the survey screen pops up and I can’t remember that “one” spectacular item that would make the game better and save the galaxy.
I like the isea auto hostile kill, it removes the need of maintain hostile killer while doing mininer swap or hunting zero node
I like how the officer recruit section will sometimes give a “Lucky” roll of 20, 30 or more shards to an officer. How about a “Lucky” roll with the refinery tab too? I would like to actually see the words “Lucky”. It’s a nice feeling to see those words on occasion.

So in systems that have both dilithium and g3 ore/crystal/gas nodes, if you mine all the dilithium and refresh and it is dilithium again. I think that should be changed. Waste of time mining dilithium for the chance of the useful stuff only for it to be dilithium again. The nodes should alternate between dilithium and ore/crystal/gas so if you refresh from dilithium you know it will be the useful stuff next time

Scopely will release the enemy detection radar when? Friends ask for this feature or scopely will take 10 years to create while creating boring and useless features.
A radar for approaching enemy ships. This radar they created is not the real one that was there at the station showing that it would be released in the future.
Here's an idea, would like to hear everyone's opinions on it as well; The Vi'Dar's attack bonus against Borg should also count against Assimilated Vessels considering that they are operated and maintained by the Borg. Growing up watching anything and everything Star Trek with my family, having this background knowledge, it kind of bursts one's bubble when an Assimilated Vessel is categorized as Borg in the series and this game, but the Vi'Dar gets slapped into the hangar for restoration because that slight detail was left out. Would it be possible to look into that and revaluate/reconsider that?
I’m sure it’s been suggested, but: when starting an armada, if the target already has an armada targeting it, give a warning. My alliance lost 3 armadas worth of directives today due to the ongoing UI lag in the game (that doesn’t show you when someone else has just started an armada). OR they should refund directives if the target is no longer active when the timer is up. Otherwise, it’s just the game randomly stealing resources from players.
Here's an idea bring back the events that give Jellyfish blueprints as rewards so the non pay to win players can have one and stop getting slaughtered.

Scopely devs have you ever considered resource swap facilities in the alliance store? My alliance members would love a facility to be able to either trade or swap resources with each other or buy in store with alliance credits.
Also some kind of @everyone message that would cause somekind of window or glow that user must read it.
Aslo like I suggested before everyone should have Last login info, average duration per day online

Next idea... auto save crew setup button so you dont have to keep changing Individual officers per ship.I suggest about 4 to 6 auto save slots that are changeable. This will reduce times for getting ships.out to armada. Swarms, borgs space and events etc.
Lastly can you fix the dam notifications for armada and raid which aren't showing properly
Might be worth exploring putting certain officers shards/ship bps in a more affordable package
So instead of $100 for a complete officer shards/ship bps. Have a $20 for 20 shards/bps. You’ll still have to spend $100 for complete package but more affordable @$20 at a time
I noticed that Romulan officers aren’t represented well in the game

Allow us to trade in blueprints we don’t want for faction or independent credits. Also, at ops 33 we should not have hijacked lvl 26 ships in our epic armada reward loot pools. That’s just ridiculous.
@static copper Thank you for the insights on my suggestion. Filter and sort is of course a huge value. But the members on my server are pretty sure that 5 10 or 12 presets of exact -pre-chosen officers in the specific seats that can be dropped into any ship with 1 click, is still desired. However, I totally can see how your idea of label, sort, and filter, would make the setting up of these presents so much easier and faster, let alone when not using any presets and doing it manually.
When efficiencies like this can be included, much like the great job they did on the bookarks and the friend/enemy labeling system, then it keeps players in the game longer, and increases the chance people will invite their friends to start playing more than even the free gifts for inviting a person. I guess we will see if they agree or have a different plan. Thanks again.

My only other Suggestion for the coders would be to get a trading post system implemented. Some may have mentioned it already. Lots of ways to implement it. But probably making use of the electronic trading in the actual base section could work easiest.
Until that happens, many alliances on our server are simply expanding a trading system using existing functionality of ships and bases. Its a little extra effort but it works and is completely free for everyone. I expect it will continue to grow if a coded solution doesnt appear in the next little while. I do like seeing how creative and resourceful players are though. .
This game is dying. Not because of the merits of the game, but for the lack of vision from the development team. The game is sinking, and the answers from development is not to fix issues, patch the holes or balance the game.
Their idea of what we need is to exploit another event to create something else to bleed its players of money. That is sad considering COVID-19. Most people are in financial peril because we cannot work without the risk of spreading the disease, but you open a new opportunity to tax our wallets.
The basic issues of the game:

New players cannot compete. As a result, the player growth has stopped.
Your answer for this is to have us invite friends to play, so they become stuck in the teen levels and quit playing. -
The game has evolved, base combat needs to change from 15 to 20.
This will help new players grow and become better equiped to joining the community. This would also add some balance to the game because sub 20 cannot really defend themselves nor are they able to be productive in events. -
Create a PvE server.
Allow players to migrate to the PvE server so casual people can grow. Then monetize migration tokens in the PvE store for people that are done growing and want to return to PvP servers.
Of course node mining would need to be adjusted. Can only start mining if hull is empty (this would function as a cool down for mining forcing a recall to unload). When hull is full or node is exhausted, the miner is expelled from the node. Then cooldown, allowing opportunity for other players to harvest.
Add events on the PvE server that would utilize a group function to combat bosses. Alliances can form fleets and attack PvE content as if they were a combined ship, as a fleet. -
Lower the level requirement of the Envoy to 14.
If you refuse to balance base combat, make the envoy available sooner so level 14 players mey have an easier time preparing to transition from 14 to 15.

Perhaps it is already told, but playing this game is cool only the protection of a player station is really bad! How is it possible that station L31 (11.5 million power) can be destroyed and drained of materials in 2 a 3 minutes by a L34 mining vessel 311.000 power. I think it is out of balance and is destroying the fun of playing this game
Can we review the independent credits, only being able to get 50 a day is ridicules since you have now added new officers that also need them

I've suggested it before and I'm going to suggest it again. Add an actual timestamp to messages and logs. Having the amount of time lapsed is completely unhelpful. I don't understand the reasoning behind doing it that way in the first place. Common sense here.
And tbh killing 38-40 reds, game gives Phindra and vahklas, HZ and kumari BPS? Cant you give more like speedups, more Faction ship bps and leave these unnecessary vessel images from under ops30 behind?

I would like to suggest that the automated spawning hostiles like the trained fighters war armada and whatever they are all called either be disabled for faction hunts or at least not count towards points for the alliance leaderboard
I can't say how it is on other servers of course but on mine there is a tremendous amount of players parking in systems generating points for the event simply by being hit by these bounty hunter types and the lag on the server during these events gets excessive which harms overall gameplay
A suggestion of possibly creating an calendar to show when the next events will come. Have it at your station the news screen. Etc: ship bps,mining,war.......

Get rid of rng in the refinery. At ops 33 it’s been weeks since I have had an actual rare pull on crystal, and that’s with doing twice daily 4x pulls
@wooden timber go around killing their hunters. They don’t see a battle report saying you killed their zombie farming ship, they stop getting points, and likely hours go by before they notice.

It seems to me that it is essentially an exploit misuse of game mechanics for a not intended purpose and one that favours only a certain segment of the player base those who are not friendly with all 3 factions
@wooden timber the lag is not caused by people zombie killing. Scopely servers are really unstable as is across all the game servers since the last update. If it really were cause by that, it would only be WORSE if those people were all active and trying to kill ships. It is not the cause of the game lag.
Well I and many others have noticed an increase in server lag during these events for months not since last patch but for months
Yes correlation isn't causality maybe the actual reason for it is something else I cannot but there is a distinct correlation one that has been present at least since autumn time

One idea I can give for the game is giving the player an option to play single player, progressing through the campaign with NPCs being the hazard while mining (being super aggressive, as well as near impossible to defeat at any level, and fast to both the player's ships and station in hostile space) or to play multiplayer with the focus on competition for events and such. One note is that perhaps people can toggle between the two but progress in one may not carry over to the other.
Could the devs please make some mechanic where I can defend my miners from griefers without cancelling the peace shield from my base?
It is ridiculous to try to do a mining event when a griefer just blows you off the node with a 1.2 million warship just to have "fun". Even with a fully upgraded survey ship, it will not be able to defend.
then to have the same person do the same thing to you continuously is ridiculous.
Increase the chances of a blueprint from the ships crashing into my base.

How about an event where we just try and kill player war ships. If you don't want it galaxy wide it could be limited to certain systems.
Would love to be able to swap out damaged ships and delay their repair. Would incentivize building multiples of different classes (and using those extra bps), if you can pull a fresh one for your crew to use now and repair the damaged ship when no other repairs are happening. Repairing in shipyard would be ideal, but I get why that isn’t available. Totally agree with others that simultaneous repairs should be allowed, with penalty, if necessary. Last thing: would like to shift officers around on a ship without returning to station. Would be easier to shift gears with mining if you can swap roles within a ship (not bringing new officer aboard, that would require docking). Thanks!

They had something like this with the seperatist events previously a designated system per day of the event and only faction warship gave points of course it just ended like all other pvp events mostly do and people did kill trading
And people given the choice for that went with faction hunt instead because it is not like we have had faction hunts at all during the borg arcs
They need to do some more blueprint events to get some of the ships like northstar and jelly and the latium miner ship so that those who dont have them can have a chance for them again like maybe once every 6 months or so do a repeat of ship blueprints or make it a yearly event
@nocturne lantern It would be very nice if you were to introduce a possibility to exchange ship blueprints. Right now I'm level 30 and I have enough blueprints for 28 Kehras, 13 Vahklas, 6 Kumari, 4 Horizons and I've lost count of how many Envoys I can build.

I posted an armadas concept before. I forgot to add that the expanded armada starter controls should include a button to start the armada sooner than 15 minutes. Literally no point in waiting when it's not necessary.
And yes, please add an option to hide the text and go button for the missions heckler. The amount of times I've tapped one of the minefield buttons around the display is insane. And, sadly, you cannot hide every mission, but even if you could, this mine is unnecessary

Bring back the old ship, officer and research event. These new ones are garbage. Also I can read it looks like most agree with me. XP events need to come back.
Have you guys considered changing the daily milestone rewards? Either swap out the 8 hr shield with a 12 hr shield, or with the final milestone include a 12 hr shield? I say this because sleep is one of the most important things that humans need to be able to function and be healthy (world wide pandemic or not). This game is fairly addictive for a lot of its player base. A lot of us are free to play or nearly free to play, and do not want to spend ridiculous amounts of money on the game just to get shields. A lot of players are not in big alliances that can regularly get alliance points to purchase a 12 hr shield in the alliance store. For many, an 8 hr shield is not enough time to get the 1 hr recommended break from any screen before bed AND get a full night of sleep.
I am not suggesting that we have enough shield given to us to remain shielded all day, but we need to be able to sleep at night without the added worry of being raided or not because we do not have the resources to get an appropriate length shield.
I know I would get a lot of 💩 now but I would appreciate a Klingon or romulan batch as an avatar 😁 or the augment eye would be also amazing

Is it possible to get the pvp brackets closed a bit? A lvl 26 has no way of defending against a lvl 40. Even in events, I am against way higher levels with faction miners and all. Seems way unfair especially when I have 3 ships mining and all the research I can do and they are still extremely far ahead of me.
Sell Level Downgrade Packs!
After a very expensive upgrade to OPS41 (from OPS39) I noticed that events get impossible or hardly playable, especially the Battle for Glory Solo Event. I would therefore suggest to sell downgrade packs to allow players downgrading back to 39 or so. Definitely worth considering IMO, @ scopely.

How about add “Repair Crew” Galaxy research to upgrade each dock so they can repair independently of each other instead of the current mode where repairs can only be carried out on one ship at a time.
yea that would be good or for a certain amount of lat or whatever, you could dock in the station of a nearby alliance member for repairs instead of having to waste time goin all the back to your own base which might be a lot further away ......especially if u happen to have an alliance station in the system already

Let’s take repairs a bit further. How about if those starbases out there could actually allow ships to dock and repair? Or if your ship is destroyed your ship might end up there if it’s closer than your base. You could impose a time, ship or faction restriction and charge a nominal fee. If your base is nearby within one system then perhaps it won’t allow you and tell you to go to your base instead.

At present I’m getting a token amount of Officer XP (nothing compared what I have from faction hunt events) and then a couple of shards for offfiers I’ve already maxed, which is turned into a token amount of Officer XP.
Anyway of making it give you shards for only officers you haven’t maxed and doing away with the token XP in exchange for another shard?
Transporting. I should be able to swap officers from ship to ship in the same zone. And they need to make the sound. If not that at least allow officer changes on the same ship.
Right now, the lvl protections that keep high lvl players from hitting low level players are being abused to death.
Also, they don't make any sense.
Instead of limiting who you can fight using ops lvl use individual ships to do it.
For a lvl 20, the strongest ship they can be hit by using ops lvls is a Vahklas.
Ok, fine. Make it so lvl 20s can only be attacked with a Vahklas and below - but let ANYONE do it.
I can see why you wouldn't want a 20 trying to defend against an Augur. But, against a Vahklas it is totally doable - even if facing a lvl 40 player.
That suggestion doesn’t really make sense now that the scrapyard exists. Many players may have already scrapped whatever ship it is you’d be allowed to use. That said, a very high level player wouldn’t likely hit a low 20’s player as the payout wouldn’t be high enough.

Top of the line android device with amazing resolution - yet this game looks like its for 3 year olds - I know its possible and I can achieve higher resolutions if i keep force closing and re-opening the game it eventually loads and looks fantastic in full glory but 9 times out of 10 i'm stuck playing in the standard kiddie mode. See my screenshots for a comparison - FYI the resolution of a Samsung Galaxy TAB S6 is 1600 x 2560 pixels, 16:10 ratio (~287 ppi density) - Doing the same open - force close - open & force close when i have my external monitor connected I can even get the game up to full UWQHD and it plays just fine - so please let us configure (or do it for us) to use the maximum resolution of the devices.

The key issue is that description of soooooo many things in this game are misleading it is irritating. The game is reaching a point of unusability that is pissing me off. The costs of upgrades are so high that one needs three days of meditation to decide where to spend them.
The idea/request/improvement is to please make costs and their related buffs/benefits/research more understandable from the perspective of a player. Officers are now ok. Time to sort the mess out with ships, buildings and research.
The benefit of buildings and research refer always to the BASE COST, which would be ok if the game showed which factors influence the cost to get the NET costs (like in the lcars spreadsheet), but hey it doesn’t.
For example, this wonderful work of backwards engineering by LCARS should be beautifully implemented within the game.

Some things I've asked about before and some several times.
- Let us change crews in ships ie are at gas mine with best gas mining captain it changes to ore. But have that miner on bridge, move out mine switch captain spot go back to mine.
- Give admirals better way to manage alliance. Color codes for activity like black for no online over a month red for 2 weeks etc etc.
- When attacking high level hostiles get better chests, why get a lvl 34 killed and get *2 parts or *2 ship bps? Should get more faction ship bps, *3 or *4 parts etc.
- The cost to upgrade is just unreal it's funny. Shows scopely wants our money not our enjoyment or commitment to this game. Why build a home $100k then that summer add a sunroom that cost $150k more? These are improvements not rebuilds.
5.make refinery user friendly. If I need 300 uro for something, I chose that amount it says need x amount of raw. When it's there makes that 300 uro. - Keep the low cost packs in store players are more likely to keep spending 10 or 20 dollars for needed items. Whales will always spend big money for big packs.
Yes scopely needs $ for overhead but this is a game for most of us not our job. In real world star trek scotty could have shields on all time or on when scanned or 1st attack hit. Yes real world so no pause button but like shields when we sleep or at work have shields up at no cost or it eats rss.

New event idea... actual borg invasion. survival style event. Basically, the borg come through and wipe every system in progressively stronger waves. Every station, every ship. Prizes awarded at the end based on number of waves survived.
If you lose, your station is temporarily "borgified" until the event ends, and you can join the carnage and attack anyone you want just like the npcs
No looting allowed during the event, everyone gets those maintinance shields, and the borg can ignore them.
Here we talk some gui features that are bad in this game.
Create crew sets where we can design crews to drop into a ship( provided officers in crew are not assigned to another ship) this would greatly improve how we assign officers to ships. Also let us swap officer position while deployed. Swap bridge crew and captain positions around at least.
PHASER TAG! An event where your alliance gets points based on damage done to other alliances. You lose points based on damage taken. It would be like tag but with ships.
Let us refine for a specific type of end product. Refine 75k raw for x amt of uncommon only or x amt of rare only. We use very little common yet it is the highest qty of result we get, sometimes the only end product.
Faction events(daily faction) should have faction kills as a point scorer

It would be helpful to display the amount of time that it will take to get to the location in the list of Missions instead of having to tap "Locate" on each and try to memorize the lowest value after going through ~50 missions. Perhaps even add sort options, to sort by closest, most challenging, type (defeat something, donate something, visit somewhere, upgrade something, researching something, etc.)
Daily Goals should auto-collect before they reset so that you don't have to remember to collect it. As a new player, I didn't realize that I had to tap at the top until I was already a week into the game
When an allied ship is on a mining node and you select it, you can't tell who it is. Please add the Scan button back in for allied ships in this situation
Add a feature to receive notifications in changes to alliance membership and alliance announcement message. It is good to know when someone joins or leaves for multiple reasons. Some Admirals use the Announcement text as a means to communicate with their alliance since the chat history is so small. Knowing that there has been a change would direct attention to read the update.
Please add Confirmation buttons in the faction shop so I don't fat-finger error myself into another Commendation rank. 😠

Allow cancelling of jobs in-flight, such as building base modules, new starships, researching, tiering up starships, so that we can correct our "oops, I didn't mean to push that now", or "I'm under attack and I really need my ship now", or "I just realized that I need to research something faster so that I can reach my daily mission before it resets and I don't have any speedups". It should offer a full refund since you don't get a partial starship or partial research, etc and would have to start over.

Suggestion: create two types of servers, PvP / PvE focus, PvP orientated one would be like now, PvE could for example have the following differences:
- Lower PvP ranging
- More Resource Nodes
- Auto Nudge Off from nodes when mine is no longer mining (cargo full, node zeroed)

ship upg is not happening more than a couple modules a month...but i love the officer events as is. Very easy to do if you stockpile or use minimal faction credits to buy a pack or two.
Faction credits are used for ships, and you can’t stockpile ultra shards to max the events regularly. They don’t even give the uncommon mats that they used to

Reduce the daily leaderboard range. A level 28 has no chance competing with a level 44 player. Not even much chance against a level 34 player.

Please add a Start Now button to Armadas if it gets filled to max capacity. Seems dumb to wait 14 minutes when you start an Armada right away with a full crew seconds away. It will allow using Armada Directives quicker which will also make you more money since they get used faster if you don't have to wait 14 minutes for each one.
PLEASE REVIEW PvP ranges. PvP should be no more than a +/- 4 levels. How is it fair that an Ops lvl34 with a 1.6mil power Faction ship can hit an OPS lvl24? Lvl24 can't even get close to defending let alone attacking that high. .

@glacial cypress some upgrades are a lost cause. This is why Scopely should be reported to Google and Apple for bad behavior. Either they fix the logic and issues either should be banned from platforms.

grade <lower> to <higher> conversion is currently done the long way buy building <lower> grade ships and scrapping those when maxed for <higher>

Idea: given the multiplier of the raw resources you us when you refine multiple pieces please increase what you get back considerably.. so if I spent 12k raw crystal on refinery then make it so I’m getting something considerably more then if I was spending 1750.. yesterday I twice got more from 1750 than I did on 12k
Please think of a way to get easier access to shipparts. Farming them really takes ages and is not really fun. What about a store where you can buy or trade them. I have a lot of parts that i do not use at all, trading them for ones i do use would help a lot.

Scopely, while you aim at improving. I would suggest to do Leader Board type event per level. having an event base on damage done is pointless when I am level 25 against level 39 and up. They kill 1 ship is the equivalent of 50-100 ships for me!
Suggestion: with the influx of new players through the invitation incentive it would be fair to begin offering the ship events again so they are not disadvantaged because they were not active when these event ships were introduced (Jellyfish, North Star, Franklin, Vi'dar, hijacked).
Please let us sell faction ship bp's back to the store. Even at a 30% rate I'd be happy. I got all kinds of them from hunting hostiles and I'll never use them

They tightened up the lower levels too, because they complain about being raided a lot, same reason stations got buffed (leaving 1 ship home to defend was too difficult). I'm unsure how the rest of us survived and managed to grow into the 30's 😬

I’m on server 26 a guy on my server started making homophobic remarks to me, in galaxy chat. I took screen shots and reported it as well as many other people since this is a TOS violation. Unfortunately calling a gay person a Nancy and telling them to hold your pocket (the prison term for...., which he explained in detail....) then going on to explain what a Nancy is in detail. Since he has been reported he next moved his base right next to mine to make it easy to hit my ships in swarm space because he knew I was in first place and had to stay in swarm space to win.... not in first anymore. After people in our server started yelling at him for his remarks in galaxy chat, he learned his lesson as now moved it to private messages to harass me. Every time I send in more screen shots I keep getting the exact same copy and past message.
Is there a next step of action I can take other than keep sending them more screen shots to be ignored? Is making homophobic remarks to a gay person not really a tos violation?
I would suggest keeping him blocked and perhaps sending all your information into Support as a ticket via Email

But to be honest a suggestion of blocking someone who is doing what he is doing is kind of frustrating. Instead of taking action to protect plays from stuff like this, we just get told to block him. Which once again if he’s publicly posting it in galaxy chat, blocking him won’t make any difference.

Option B: 20 level brackets

Option D: 5 level brackets
Option E: 3 level brackets
then submit the data with the poll and some consolidated commentary or additional information blah blah blah.
We've in the past done a community survey which was absorbed in an in-game survey by Scopely shortly after so as to get a larger sample of data.
this is for new ideas or oversights that scopely makes, and a response instead of a harangue of negativity that you and other staff have to wade through to get to the meat of whatever the issue is.
We continuously monitoring all the channels and gather ideas/feedback, create rapports and are sending these forward to Scopely.

The negativity they received was either on the galaxy chat here, or in individual tickets in the game. which is so much less effective than a poll system when you can consolidate gripes and have voting done on it.

Each Epic Credit could've easily been 1 part, whilst leaving plenty room to spare in the future to entice people into purchasing packs to bolster said officers.That would've created a scenario of mutual gain and interest, where these resources have not.
I'm confident that we can all relate to the idea where through other factors, you are limited in what you can do - I know I can.
But it's also a matter of communicating and investing the energy to turn words into visuals - so as to open their eyes so they can see as you see.There are so many sound arguments players are posting through the rants, that it'd be beneficial to gather them. Or perhaps ask us to for you.

I can remember real quick as I'm writing, a screenshot of someone having 53/90 Rare Ore towards a Weapon Upgrade.Imagine the visual with that: 4-5 Ships. 6-7 Components per ship. 3-5 Resource types per component. ?? per resource. And this player got 12 of that ore for a 3-month investment.
I'm not blind myself of course, there's other arguments to be made. Vi'Dar was released, other resources were had.
But it's the experience. 3 Months of this 'Mystery Chest' and the trust the community had to put in you to invest the time and dedication.
If not amended, I worry this will discourage players from reacting as passionately in the future and I'm a big fan of investing in the long term myself.
And as such, other moderators have written to them as well with the announcement as result. 🙂
I feel like you aren't addressing what I am saying.
What I'm getting at is that we're already doing a lot more than commonly seen and there's only so much we can do in our spare time.
I understand the desire for more transparency and to create publicly available statistics for anyone to view but this is undesirable for a company to have and for a team of volunteers to moderate/curate.
1000's of ideas are submitted some of them are good and a lot of them are bad, but the rate at which they are posted means not everyone gets to see those ideas, and then they can often be repeated.
Additionally it is not you that should be the sole arbiter of what ideas get submitted/proposed, if it is in the communities best interest should the community get a say in what get's submitted? Or at least the illusion that their opinions have a marginal amount of weight.
It's not an issue of gathering the ideas/feedback of the community, there is plenty sent to them on a regular basis that are filtered to the most often requested/forwarded ones and formatted properly.
It's what's done with it that's the cause of frustration to many, which they're slowly but surely picking up on so that's good.

Has to be better way to report crap like this. No excuse for this. Needs to be a way for players to follow up and get a resolution to reports made as well.
I got a suggestion that would be a great Idea and feature for this game, that is the be ablity to save crew setups in a profile or something similar. That way you don't have to dig through the entire inventory of your crews for specific individuals you looking to equip on a specific ship.
I'm actually surprised this game doesn't already have this with how often you have to change crews for different tasks.

Hmmm, todays swarm event is still a competition between low lvl and high lvl players, will these events ever put players in appropriate lvl brackets. for example +-1.

A better way is to remove it as being a ranked stat. Pwr destroyed don't mean anything if you're hit miners all day. It just means you hit just weak miners all day.
Know a guy that does just that all day to raise pwr destroyed stat. He's part of a alliance that also does it. They attack mainly miner empty or opl doesn't matter. It's all about the pwr destroyed with them.
How about Alliance bookmarks...like Commodores and Admirals could make bookmarks that populate for the whole alliance.

we need some events, particularly for DiLi. On my server there is a galaxy wide shortage and it is limiting play. I can never mine or manufacture enough. Farming hostiles generate about half the rate of repairing ship, so killing hundreds and getting 40k cost 20k plus TriT. Hours just to repair 1 ship. This is forcing me to raid, but those I'm raiding also have little DiLi and it is not pleasant crippling fellow players! I feel this is putting undue stress on players at a time when stress is already high and just is not star trek! There should be a way to obtain DiLi without constantly attacking players bases!
Example would be swarm kill event. When I had DiLi I know I would be challenging top 10, now I'm making do with top 100 because it costs too much DiLi to repair. Draining away challenge of competing with fellow players and the fun.
this game is severely unbalanced due to resource costs, in repairs, research, component upgrades, building upgrade costs. the ratio of cost to mining rate/mission rewards/hostile hunting is beyond out of balance. It's at a level of disparity that says pay us or you will never progress beyond a certain point.
Nearly every other freemium game i have ever played requires a stupid amount of grinding, like this one, as is expected in a game of this type. The primary difference is that the rest of these games have a positive return, with the stipulation that you don't fail of course. But here even if you succeed in the daily missions/events beyond a certain level, which I personally have not yet reached. The returns go deep into the red. If you don't buy certain primes, or have an enormous stockpile of tokens, this game limits what you can do per day if you want to profit.
like the jelly or some lvl 40+ faction ship. they cost millions in dil to repair, and 100's of millions in trit to repair. What is the point of building such ships if the cost to repair them a single time makes them pointless to use?
Every single player above 42 on my server can't actually use the new ships, there just isn't enough rss out there to use them, especially during this pandemic. the buying power of everyone has been affected. Maybe the whales still vomit money into this game, but I am willing to wager that the torrent of cash flow into the game has been affected...
Either up the output of Uncommon and Rare materials from the Refinery or lower the cooldown time. I haven't been able to get enough to upgrade the shield on my Mayflower in over a month, between the requirements for research and the other ships as well. Or, better yet, lower the costs of everything.... The person above me is correct, there isn't enough rss or nodes to get your materials out there. Half the bases on my server are either dead or broke so raiding isn't a feasible.
Some originality into the game would be nice, atm it's just log in of a morning. Set your surveys up for mining & drop them on nodes. Hit a few hostiles. Open your chests & send help requests to your alliance. Then at 6pm do one of the 5 daily events that are constant repeat. Pop a shield to protect your resources & log off for the night!
Could you add like a future were you could send ships to map the systems by them self like, map 20 undescoverd systems?

Been with the game for a long time. Still need more strategic gameplay, marketplace, alliance tools. Different variations of hostile hunt only go so far. True alliance wars (dozens of ships fighting with attack.defence options for each side) kind of a like armada on steroids, ability to mine systems/mine sweep, capture the flag scenarios between alliances etc. I’m level 40 but I’m waiting for some changes before doing anything else with the game.

I see lots of people saying this game is too much pay2win, but I don't agree. You can speed up your gaming by paying, but it is very costly. Playing for free adds a little difficulty, but shouldn't be too tough as long as long as one is willing to adapt. Those few who can pay so much they are in class of their own, pay for the gaming of the rest of us.
It would be nice if Scopely focused more in fixing bugs though. 😅
If I could change one thing in the game, I would do something about mining and how tough it is to find mining nodes. Most of mining nodes are filled with extremely slow miners. At first this happened only during nights, but now it is also happening during days. On my server, one could almost say people are abusing ROE because they are allowed. Changing ROE to not cover for tier 5 envoys with slow mining crew is too complex an addition. But having 75% of nodes in system "slowmined" by people who are away, is annoying for someone who would like to simply mine the daily mining goal quota and be done with it.
What could fix the slow-miner infestation? Only Scopely could fix this. Maybe prevent slow miners from latching on to high-capacity mines? Or maybe make it so that if mining speed is under certain limit, miner will auto-detach after 5-10 min unless one keeps resetting the counter? The speed limit could be lower in low capacity nodes. And if miners could auto-detach on 0 node after 30 sec, it would be something! There are numerous ways to make mining much more enjoyable for everyone. One way to ease mining would be to add more mining nodes, but I am sure people would quickly just add more slow miners to the mix, making that fix a temporary one.
Mining is the biggest part of the game if one wants to upgrade anything: it could be refined a bit from what it is currently. 🙏

If I have to kill a level 30 to 40 player, can we stop getting tallas and envoys and kehra bp's from the PVP chests ? It's kind of insulting. Maybe faction ship bp's once in a while? or more useful stuff like uncommon RSS, speedups relo tokens? Just asking for a lvl 38 friend who's getting pretty jaded on this money grab...er game.
I second the request for a friendly fire option. Maybe give people a setting where they can turn on friendly fire for a short period, allowing alliance mates to attack during that window.

How about adding a trading dock for us to unlock on our station to be able to trade bp’s and other rss amongst either fellow alliance members and/or allie members. Some sort of marketplace is very much needed.
how about every alliance have a space station where members can dump parsteel tritanium and dilithium to build it. and members can dock into it for repairs and defense from it being raided. also have it set up where we can share unwanted rss to other members through the space station. contributions change with the lvl of the alliance. but make it where the space station will not change but the amount of the rss it can hold.
Tiering up ships also like to see when u tier up a ship u can still use the dock. Tier up gets no alliance helps i would like to see that changed where alliances helps tier ups. and it is sent back to the hanger during tiering up..

Since mining is very important you must realize that refining is also s stumbling Brock. I would lime to see the time to refine latanum and biomaterials lowered. 21 hours is too long, also how about offering more than 1 chest in the beginning. Example, I have 300 plus points in biomaterials, currently I am lowest on dillithum, but can only open 1 chest a day, it really slows me down. Also would look to see you add chests in the alliance store as well, it is very time consuming to buy shields one at a time.🤔
guys why is it possible that a lvl 28 can attack a lvl 40? also the other way does not make any sense. fix it that only lvl 35 and above can attack lvl 40

Can we get a data mining in the Daily Goals area as the Augment Faction increases. Independent credits can be the reward. 50 credits for the first goal achieved and 75 credits for the second? Add in some tokens to round it out.

Well maybe they should add some features to the game that aren't lame and bring value to the game, like Armada's was a nice attempt, but not a very good one. would be cool to have things like,
- bridge view where you're controlling the ship from the bridge and not a birds eye view.
- ship racing, hit each marker and get to the finish line first
- mini games, such as some of the games they played in the TV series, do a spin off on those.
- officer combat simulator, have your officers fight others in hand to hand combat, whether it be PVP or PVE.

As they have failing for a year to fix some bugs, all they do is differnet brand similar events all the time were we high players would want more content for higer players. All the event rewards are poor for higher players and most likely bring something new to keep our intrest in this game on.
Whats there is to play if refinery gives 55 uncos 2 times per day total 110 while doing nothin. Then there is swarm event grand prize is 77 crystals. LOL did 24h killing just to get 77 uncos? LOL how about main prize to correspond levels that u play? Swarm event and now ongoing poorly prized vulcan event who cares?
Top reward should be at ops35 level 500-1000 unco crustals
atleast 500 uncos for 24h event 1000 uncos for vulcan style 2 day event

Also, the same way relocation tokens add an element of strategy to PvP and raids. Can you please introduce name change tokens / alliance change tokens to add strategy to the alliance jumping / name changing trolling
Recommendations for Crew management:
- The ability to shuffle crew around within a given ship without sending it back home. This way I can send my miner out with both Domitia and Barot then mine the same node when it flips between Crystal and Dilithium
- The ability to promote and level up officers without them being in the base. I know that they have the ability to call out to ships in every TV series and movie!
- The ability to swap out crew between ships within a certain distance. There are transporters on the show, after all.
- The ability to save crew build outs. I know there has been a lot of talk about this, so can we have it, already?
- The ability to assign crew to the station. Why do I have to have a ship sitting in the station in order to have crew defend the station? Where are all those people not assigned to ships?
- In the Officer list, the ability to view those that can be leveled up, in addition to those that can be promoted, without having to click through each one.
- In the Officer list, the ability to "mute" a notification for an officer you have no intention of leveling up (such as some of the low-powered common officers).
Besides the 15 minute timer, implement a “Launch Armada” option for when everyone is inside the circle so we don’t have to wait the full time.
Give the possibilité to allocate 3* resources to upgrade a ship or building even if you don't have enough for the moment
There are some systems where zero mines disappear and reappear a few minutes later. Changing all mines so they disappear once empty and reappear elsewhere who stop people sitting on empty mines. It would also help resolve arguments players have in game where one argues their empty miner was killed and another argues it was a zero node.
Can you lock out armadas when they’ve been started by an alliance until the battle? Or refund the directives if someone else has started an armada before you, I’m REALLY sick of the game not showing an armada as started, only to waste directives because another alliance got there first and it wasn’t showing
How about leadertable for power, resource raided and power destroyed across all servers on this discord with one per day update?

Given the current climate with Covid and the amazing job or health service is doing putting their and their families lives on the line daily, is there anything Scopely could do to show appreciation for their heroic efforts? Maybe a really good resource pack of a shiny new ship for all NHS staff players? I know it would do wonders over hear in regards to raising spirits but I also this Scopely would benefit greatly showing this appreciation? Just a thought

I give up then, I thought it may be a good idea to pay homage to those frontline workers but clearly (and as per normal) there are to many individuals more concerned with putting blockers in place rather than getting on board and trying to find a way to potentially make it work.
You would have to include all essential workers risking their health and safety. Not just hospital staff.
So many are sacrificing for the greater good. Food suppliers, utility and transit workers. Some have even re-tooled assembly lines to manufacture protective gear. The list is long.
Add a line to the start of each round in the battlelog listing what abilities (Morale, Burning, etc.) are active on the ships.
@strange mural no you wouldn’t have to include all essentials workers. Whilst I commend them for their efforts not all essential staff expose themselves to patients who have Covid on a daily basis as do a lot of medical staff. I am classed as essential staff and I work on the railway. The risk of me coming into contact with individuals carrying Corona is significantly less than a nurse/doctor etc. Just because someone is labelled as an essential worker does not mean that they are at the same risk.

Need to increase the frequency of uncommons dropped in refinery I've got 3 2chest pulls and got only common and it's a lvl 27 refinery common is basically useless to me I need so much uncommon
So I've been playing for just about 3 months now (my server is about 4 months old) and I've noticed that the server is starting to die down pretty quickly with most players quitting out or becoming stagnant. Since the events start to become a little redundant and the number of active players continues to shrink and individual and even alliance growth starts to slow dramatically, im wondering if Scopley can introduce some kind of long term PvP element that could keep players engaged even as the number of players shrinks.
I think non-movable, non-shieldable, alliance-held stations would be an excellent and exciting addition to the game. Spread across the galaxy im various key systems these stations could offer some slight bonuses to the members of the alliance who hold it. These would be both short and long-term alliance goals that can be sought after long after the initial growth period ends. By having these permanent stations at various levels, this would also give the less powerful alliances something to shoot for, since it is often the case that moving up or down a couple positions from event to event rarely changes your reward, especially for middle and smaller alliances.
I have frequently requested bracketed alliance events in the surveys for the same reason. Ideally there should be several similarly powered alliances vying for the no.1 spot in any given event, however after the initial growth period ends, its generally the case that there is 1 or 2 top alliances which will always rank at the top and it becomes painfully obvious that no alliance not comprised of mostly 28+ players can hope to compete. When there's actually (or apparently) a 0% chance of ever "winning" whatever that means to the player, thats when they just uninstall and walk away 
The game would have, in my opinion, a much longer playability for a much wider range of players if there were attainable goals at each level.

I left my alliance and started one on my own (experiment) I was ranking 46 in most alliance events
The player fade is ridiculous and nobody new joins
Everyone needs tritanium and uncommon crystal and have done for 4 weeks now (prizes are all parsteel)
I think the game is only playable to level 28... After that it becomes far too slow and repetitive and even as a whale... You can't justify the spend to progress

Event suggestion... Invasion saturday. Could alternate borg, swarm, elites, and new content as available. Enemy Ships spawn in every level appropriate system, same strength as normal, but outside there normal systems too. Once an hour, a world boss shows up in a random system. Ranked and point based events for boss and ship damage. World boss also drops rare armada shards, number based on damage done. Event appropriate hero and ship packs show up in the store as well. Would be a lot of fun, and offer an easy way to keep event content alive and profitable.
Add a 'join all events' button to negate the need to click through umpteen times to join 3 reputation events and 3 faction hunt events.
And sort all these new tabbed event screens such that the events are sorted with nearest to finishing on the left.
Could we have some more options to get officer badges f2p? Maybe as an option to have an exchange simlar to what we have now for transporter patterns, but an fx range like 10k to a badge?

I read alot of complaints about the lack of certain rss/parts in the game due to the refinery and endless grinding. Especially at higher levels.
How about a ferengi NPC trading post.
You wouldn't need to build an in game economy for players to trade but would allow players to trade 2* parts for 3* then 4 respectively also the same with ores.
Trade in parsteel/trit/dil for the parts you need or even just trade them into tokens to keep safe/spend.
I think this would give players the option of grinding, raiding and to play the game in a style which suits them. You could charge lat as a surplus for the service, eg. Each transaction would cost a certain amount to make. 1000 2* interceptor parts for 100 x 3* parts for the cost of 50 latinum. (Because forengi love their lat)
My ships has warp 55 and I can reach every system prior to dark space without Scotty. So following that logically I should be able to travel all warp paths prior to dark space too

Yes but I can still reach the system using warp 55. That is why I get confused when you are trying to figure out what warp requirements you need to reach a system. It tells you warp 61 is required if your ship is below warp 55 but as soon as you have warp 55 it allows you to travel to that system albeit a longer route

It's like looking out from a skyscraper at the view. Considered in 2D everything is right next to everything else, like if you had to draw it, but in 3D sand reality there can be significant distances between them which your drawing can't accurately depict 🤷♂️

A "galaxy" or "exit" button like an ⬆️ next to the "back" button to exit quickly would reduce it to a single tap rather than several taps. I agree, when in hostile space, you want to get in and out quickly.

We should be able to convert our main resources back into tokens. And where it shows your cargo protection it should be rounded out to at least one or two decimal places to know a more accurate number.
Make rules for people who pay for play be unable to target people who are a considerable amount weaker then them. Us people who do not pay are targeting non paying members with ships that are often 500k above power of the unpaid ships. Alliances who are full of rich people band up against alliances who don’t pay, and there is no even or fair battle. We who do not pay are at the mercy of a game that has created a class system. The rich, and the poor. There is no in between. It’s pay and have fun destroying the poor, or spend hundreds of hours only to have a payed player who doesn’t need the resources come and destroy you and you have to wait an hour or so to fix the ship! How is this fair? And in APAC server 199, Koreans get away with racism, discrimination, harassment and bullying and the rest of the server gets the bans, why? There is an alliance of Koreans in APAC 199 that band together and have said on multiple occasions that the Germans should have killed all the Jews in WW2. I reported this, over and over and over again. All I got was, we will look into this. And 5 months after, they are all still there, still doing it. Nothing is done about it because they are the pay for play players. And guess what, I reported the racism and harassment, and I got a 24 hour ban. I appealed and asked what the report was, and was told due to privacy I wasn’t allowed to know what it was or who made the report. It’s a load of garbage.

Suggestion: For base PVP defense, you have to be in internal base view and simply rely on an alert to let you know a hit is coming. It would be nice if the repair station button was actionable from standard view so you could see your attacker and watch the attack. It totally favors the attacker and makes base defense more of a guess. I would even think an entire new base attack / defense screen could be cool to increase the experience.

Hey, here's an idea. In the officer's panel, put an option to lock crew layouts into groups. Then when you are selecting crew for certain ships, you can simply select the group you previously created. Instead of manually choose officers according to the ship each time.

I know we're in lock down and people are home playing more bit alot of other games have discounted packs as people aren't earning as much whereas you have made the majority of your pack £99.99. bit shameful..

I was wondering if a change could be made to the base shield. Currently if you want to added time to your shield you loose the remaining time. Could that be changed so it just adds to the current shield time?
Suggestion: in deep space or a certain area space systems that can be controlled by a player alliance. An alliance could control an area by a armada type building that can be upgraded by the alliance who controls it. Also the alliance could pump resources into a fleet that would auto attack anyone outside the alliance. Then some of these system could have materials like iron or crystal or gas and an alliance could have there own mines. The zone could be lost by another alliance destroying the alliance armada system and then they could build another armada. Thing this would make some good pvp fights but would have to be fair that small alliances could have a chance.

Being able to sell of blueprints/resources that you no longer need or trade them in for other resources. Example trade two type 2 common gas for one type 3 common. Then depending on type the cost rises.
Here is an idea ... why don’t you make daily quests selectable from certain planets and have quest hubs similar to other mmo.. and then let us actually grind our way to certain BPs or officer shards..
Suggestion: Set up a system to where if you hit so many player ships during a time frame you get a rogue emblem which would spawn more pve hunters(dependent on what lvl area you are in) and put a different target on you for other players. If you get killed while rogue that player would get a special box.

With servers open to choice now for sub level 12 players I have had friends join the game due to the fact we can now play on the same server and other members of my alliance have had the same but a problem has arisen with the swarm and the Franklin. With more new players now you still have build the franklin as a mission but don't run the event will this be corrected? A few of my lower level players feel like your only interested in current higher level players who have shown loyalty to the game. I know the Franklin was recently available to buy but at the moment with everything going on in the world spending money it possible for everyone so some more events for speciality ships would make sense especially for the Franklin if you want new players to stay with the game

Limit ranking events by power buckets - e. g 1 million to 2 million etc. Level 29 players with 4 million power being in the same event as level 40 with 25 million power means level 29 can never win.

I missed using a May token from last year, of course the tokens from this year are different. At the very least we should be able to use an old token from the previous year in the month it was designed for.
It's a tough enough job to collect antique borg tokens to refine. It then takes 5 days for the antique latinum refinery to cooldown. The last 5 refines have yielded 5 transwarp cells which are next to useless - this is a truly awful success rate. How about the refinery gives out 1 special token for the new systems every refine guaranteed plus a randomised extra thing? Alternatively reduce the cool down rate to 2 days?
@slate oasis - this feature started with a bang and now is a running joke in our alliance about how 💩the drop rate of the only thing you want from these refines - the rare and epic transwarp cells. I have only gotten rare cells once out of many many refines (getting up towards 10 refines). Mostly regular transwarp cells, apart from a few M parsteel once, which is worthless at level 35 at that amount.
So alliance events are basically a numbers game where medium sized alliances with really active players have no chance against the bigger alliances. Level the playing field maybe by only having the top 25 player scores for each alliance counting? This would really mix up alliance events for the better and would be way to do without changing any game mechanics apart from which scores count.
Suggestion - Sync the game with FB so we can play cross platform ... I think it would be cool to be able to play on your iPhone when your out and on the PC via BlueStacks when your at home.
How about an attack chain or the ability to string up to like 3 targets queued for attacking.. if the chain gets broken, you have to reset targets

Make events be able to automatically join with an on / off button. The on off button will let us be able to join Rep events and will be saved for future events.

Match hostile icons to the names. Suliban Cabals currently have a picture of a Naussican in Maclynn system. The assets are already made for Suliban, you should just swap them in. It would really help with immersion for the Trekkies

During these trying times where esports is taking the place of traditional sports it would be the perfect time to introduce some STFC competitive team play. I think you can have a 5 on 5 game where each side gets a base to defend. That would allow for defense as well as offense. Or maybe capture the flag style.
To be able to repair are ships at a alliance member star base. That way we don't have to go all the way back to are home base.

Why is so much parsteel offered as rewards for the events. It seems that everyone below level 34 has an over abundance of parsteel in our alliance. This makes it so that no one wants to do the events that you are doing that offer even more parsteel.

Idea : Reinforcements
When an alliance mate is being attacked, the rest of us can only sit and watch as their ships, station, and finally their savings, are destroyed.
Intercepting the attacking ship is of course an option, but requires you to be able to target them, which is impossible if the attacker and victim's stations are side by side. The attacker's ships spawn directly into the attack animation, rendering them untargetable, and dock instantly, causing a "target was lost" error message if you somehow do succesfully target and attack.
What if it were possible to actually contribute to the defense?
Our suggestion is to allow alliance mates to commit ships to an alliance mate's base, one per host drydock, such that further attacks on that base would use the committed ship as a defender, automatically returning it to the owner if destroyed or the host repairs the ship they have in that slot.
We think this will be an amazing new form of teamplay that not only encourages good communication, but also builds a trust relationship within alliances; rewarding being a good alliance member and being polite and courteous to them, with their willingness to sacrifice their ships to save your station. Bring the level 32 ship pack in-line with the level 26s and 28s.
The 28s are 50 bps for £99 so 2 packs for the ship.
The 32s should be 30 bps per pack not 20. This would cost £500 for the ship, which is just over double the cost of the 28s.
As it stands the level 32 ship bps are way out of line with the 26s and 28s. The jump to that price is clearly a cash grab.
Ps I don’t mind spending money. In fact I spend at least £1000 a month but even I don’t think the 32s are worth the price and I bought the level 28 ship by purchasing 2 of the packs.

@elder nimbus That's pretty easy, I should think. If you can just send your resources away while someone is attacking your base, then raiding has no reward anymore, and everyone in a good alliance becomes immune to resource loss. You could even use alt accounts to 'store' resources, if this kind of trading were to be allowed.
Sending your resources away to alliance mates right before you are attacked, is standard practise in village builder games like Travian, in fact.

There is an "auto attack" glitch on mining nodes where if you attack player A, then your friendly jumps on the node before you get there, your friendly will be hit instead. Please fix this. As an admiral on server 40, it is making my life a nightmare and turning the server into a war zone. I have to recommend to my members that if they get hit, message back to make sure it was intentional. Its absurd. Please make attack stop if intended player moves from node, plain and simple, thank you.

Complementing my previous suggestions for officers, lower deck officers need to be more automated. Just add a recommended button that cycles (in a pop-up with a select button so you can just view it without inserting them while changing bridge officers) through 3-5 LD officer suggestions based on the bridge crew's abilities.
This works great for people who don't really care, but also to learn more about the details when picking officers as well as complementing the current lack of visible officer information and absolute lack of sorting by a/d/h stat.
Apart from the game being a glitchy mess this is shady. At first I was like oh look something reasonably priced then you click on it and it’s $99. I think before you charge such absurd prices that are well of AAA games you should make sure the game works correctly. $99 is ridiculous for virtual content.

@west mesa are they triple a titles? I know games like star citizen have dightial content for that much but you’ll get a game “eventually”. I’ve spent tons on that game but it’s on another level of quality.

That way it cost an extra pack every second level, rather than basing it on credits.

@vale heath there was a marketplace promised at one point. so many people noticed the spot in the base labeled level 50 that they ended up having to remove it to end the confusion and fighting over whether it actually existed or not. Since that was removed the devs have not mentioned it.
Combat logs should show total damage dealt and total damage received for each ship in the battle

there is a huge shortage of viable systems to move your base to. all base locations are clustered together and there are an absolute ton of systems with absolutely nothing valuable in them, just hostiles. please put planets to parks bases at in more systems, especially higher level ones, travel times are ridiculous.
I want to borrow alliance members ships to help with my missions. If I'm lvl 20 I should be able to put my ships in a community dock and lower players could use them for 30 min or something

Hello contacted issuea with Alliance TAG with admins. I would like my alliance use LD tag sine Last Dynasty. How ever there is on server 140 one dead 1 man ops6 alliance LD Drivers on server and hes stopped playing ages ago. Contacted customer service that they could edit the alliance name so our alliance could use LD tag. How ever they responded me that customer service dont have tools to do that. Is there any server admins who can moderate server allainces or delete them?

Let us sell unwanted bps back to factions. Also let us get independent credits for non-faction and hijacked ship bps.
Introduce a way to either sell unwanted ship blueprints for rss, mats, faction credits (obviously at a low return, like the scrapyard) or let us trade them in for blueprints that we need. For instance 50 2* bps could get you 1 level 34 bp, 5 level 32 faction bps, 10 level 28 faction bps or 15 level 26 bps.
Then 50 3* bps could be 2 level 34 bps, 10 level 32 bps, 20 level 28 bps or 30 level 26 bps.
Set it so you have to be at least level 26 to trade. At least all those useless blueprints we get from grinding could go towards something useful, instead of having 300 khera bps that are no good to us.
The amounts are just a suggestion and could be anything. The point is to make use of all the unneeded items we have and that we still get from hostile drops.

Make officers that lower mining rates so you can overnight mine. Like "corrupted" versions of the mining officers crew, you can tie them into a reboot arc from mirror mirror.
that way you players won't refer to Mirror Mirror as a complete and total dumpster fire.
Add automatic alliance chat messages from players when their base is under attack. Provide a coordinate link. Armadas do this already. Perhaps extend this to when allied alliances are under similar attack

I have more envoy, valk, horizon and kumari bps. I make 4 envoys every mining event then scrap them. I’ve already maxed and scrapped 3 horizons.
Allow us to be able to defend our alliance members station when under attack,add a rally station that will allow 3-4 members to fill the station to defend from enemies attacking

Please provide a switch to turn banners on and off? The current position is infuriating when you click the screen, the banner pops up and you press that instead (game lag), then lose all the on screen ship information and just see blank ships everywhere!

There needs to be a way to view individual member scores on the alliance milestone, and not just the alliance LB. Scoring for the two are different, and both should be able to be tracked.

Relo tokens are hard to come by. This give players the ability to move around a little bit more and, if they choose, to move to another server and try things there. Maybe make this a special pack only available every couple of months. This could probably be a $25-$50 pack depending what else is put in.

will the Franklin event ever repeat? we have lots of newer players whose only option is to buy the ship, as the event was over a year ago. seems a bit overdue to have some method for obtaining a fairly crucial ship other than paying for it.
Depending on the fact that I get a lot of parts for ships I do not need anymore, I would like to have the possibility to send that to other members of the alliance or also to send lvl1 ships to lower alliance members.

With regards to crucible of war event could we get an in-game notice that the event is coming up, this will be helpful for the smaller alliances as they can offer to take in other players to help them complete the event and help the players that don't have an alliance that can complete the event.

Is it necessary to switch to a new screen, while helping with the help button popping up at the upper right? The pushing should just help all and done. If you want to help just single ally member (stupid idea), you can go over the Alliance Button to do the job. Less is more, always.
The Collection of gifts is also needing 4 taps to get back - way too much imho. If it can be collected, tap and boom - collected.
Making things simple makes the game more enjoyable.
Its urgent improve the mission section to somehow organize the missions. It’s a mess when we want to find one. Maybe categorized. It would be very helpful create teams pre defined of officials and assign the team directed to the ship or at least be possible to create my categories and set them.
Idea for the refinery. Let players choose the drops from the refinery in exchange for greater materials. For example, at my level (27, Romulan faction), if I refine 1,750 ore, I get a range of common ore. If I refine 12k ore, I get a range of uncommon ore. If I refine, say 24k ore, I get a range of rare ore. Of course, the higher level you are, the more you have to refine, but the greater the range of the drops. This would make mining a much more important facet of the game and give a measure of control over the refinery as your effort has more to do with what the refinery drops as opposed to a random algorithm. It would also encourage leveling up mining officers, ships and research.
Would be nice to be able to see who is the attacker in a battle report. Maybe even if the defending ship was on a node or not.
Did everyone notice they increase the points requirements for the fqction hunt...last week i needed 750 to complete...now i need 1080...worst is tbey didnt even increased the rewards accordingly. Would be nice to see events for lower levels during the faction hunts. Even if it's just hostile hunting. If certain events are going to be exclusive to certain levels then there should be a balance.
Can we get an event that awards larger amounts of dilithium. I have plenty of steel and tritanium , but can't keep enough dilithium to hardly maintain my ships.
Please make the station similar to a ship where we can add / change crews to reduce repair times and cost or even significantly increase base defenses and reduce build and research times...

We really need a way to trade in ship blueprints as well as materials we no longer need. I have prints to build 197 ships that I would never need or use. I have never played a game that gave it's players so much worthless stuff without a way to trade it in.
