Seems like your trying to drive away all the players..
If that is your goal i have some suggestion..
- Increase the amount of event to be done on Thursday and Friday and have little to no events the rest of the week
- Have incursion on Friday night (while arena is going on)
- Turn all events into a heroic version so people have a harder time finishing them
- Do event like the Maco every week but increase what it takes to finish the SMS
- Add more loops
- Convert officer depot tokens to a Recruit so you dont get to pick them anymore
- Convert Transporter patterns to a Recruit so you dont get to pick them anymore
- You dont get to pick what crew to use on ships, you have to spend Latinum to change it to another random set of crewss

My AT suggestion:
Keep all the existing tournament tasks, costs, rerolls and rewards exactly as they were from the previous tournament, and simply add the new 20k tournament tasks (with the new legendary credit rewards) and make those require the new sigma refresh credits. The new tournament store additions can still require legendary credits.
So everyone can continue to have the exact same experience, earn a drip of legendary credits at the tournament end depending on their league, and feel like they are still progressing (even if at a snail's pace).
Regular spenders will see this and continue spending on 10k tasks (refreshing easily to get what they want), and uber whales will double and triple buy packs to get the legendary store items faster. They are good additions, we see this. F2P come away without feeling disillusioned, or shut out.
There's still time to fix this.

Scopley, why don't you own the fact that you want this game a 100% pay to play and force everyone to either spend 99.99 for a log in pack or quit the game! You take away officer recruit tokens and replace with a bad rng setup, eliminate choice rewards, now Alliance Tournaments are 99% pay to play as well. Mission Accomplished!
If you want players to engage maybe don't act like we have to be your personal bank to be able to participate the direction new content lately is going is disgusting and is going to drive a lot of player base away
Time to go into permanent maintenance mode and throw in the towel, Scopely. That or sell this game to someone who will actually make an effort. You have completely mismanaged every level of this game for years and you don’t deserve access to Star Trek IP.
Hard disagree on that last sentence. This game has been on borrowed time for years. Nothing they do besides selling it to an actually competent developer would be enough at this point.
How about adding a reset button so that we can restart whatever we want that’s what I really want and I’m sure a lot of other people agree

Make raiding great again. No one really bothers much now because of Sigma resources. This was always a good source of fun and really was a good team building part of the game.

I suggest you implement an in-game refund store, where we can demand refunds for time and resources lost because of lag, bugs, bad optimization and code, etc. If you want us to pay for stuff in the game, then at least the game should run as intended!
And as always, nothing is coming from those in charge; you are a disgrace to this industry and should quit your jobs.
some new ideas for you to tank the game more..
- Sigma relocation tokens.. every system you move through costs 1 token (move 1 system over is 1 token, 2 systems 2 tokens, etc)
- Sigma Shield, if you have a shield up and you attack someone without a shield they get the duration of your shield
- Sigma Warp, the new currency you need to warp through any systems.. Out of Sigma Warp no problem you gotta go at impuse speed that takes you X100 time the normal warp time

$13.33 per shard. x20 = 266.66.... As i understand it x20 of an officer is almost always valued at $100 more or less. bit of a mark up don't ya think? I'd also like to say that i'm not out of that currency, I've never had it... and i never will.

They need to release critical damage mitigation floor and also they need to make sure the NCSS-V1sa next arc isn’t usable within this year. I would suggest releasing both of the ship and the mitigation floor separately, but require both.
change the name of alliance tournaments to alliance lottery, since getting the right tasks to score now is completely RNG and involves paying money to gamble with refreshes

At least a couple alliance tournaments ago. Whether it's the swarms or the Cindy or the romulans or any of them when you have to kill so many hundreds of points worth yeah. The ones that were worth 5K used to have credits attached to him now it's just tournament points so we're not going to get diddly squat to spend in the store. Some of them it used to take me all day to finish, but I'd still get some credits for it. Not anymore! 😡
Hey Paramount...get rid of Scopley. They're tanking this game. One might think deliberately based on the super obvious blunders and poor decision making, that any random person off the street would know how to do better.
If Paramount got rid of Scopely, the game would just end...lol. What they really need to do is demote/fire whoever has been making the monetization decisions for the last few months. Even if they're (possibly) making more money this way, the good will from the player base that's been lost due to all of the anti-player decisions since at least as far back as replacing the popular EoA shops with dozens of Battlepasses that don't offer nearly as much as EoA did can't be doing very good for player retention. And newer players aren't gonna put up with all the bugs that we do...
I haven't seen very much Star Trek, and started playing this game via one of those "play an app and reach a goal to earn money" apps, and it was the generosity of a New Years event, I believe, that got me to stick around over other games with a similar Base Builder mechanic. I'd be shocked if I'd have still stuck around if I started recently... But it's still not too late (hopefully) to course correct and go back to the "generous to F2P/Dolphin players while giving benefits to Whales that incentivize spending" style of monetization.

I just want to throw this out into the ether. I play on 706 and I (along with my team) run the 706 discord for players. Let's just say I hear a LOT of the feedback. So I'm not sure who ya'll are getting feedback from, or how ya'll are making choices, but I really, honestly, believe you're not going in a good direction with many of the recent decisions. Alliance Tourney is disappointing, incursions were disappointing, etc, etc. I am aware you hear a lot of complaining. I've been playing for 2 years and I have, too. But I haven't had so many people in one place either actually stopping the game or talking about how close they are to it. Usually it's "I don't like this, let's make fun of scopley together" but right now it's "I'm looking into archiving my account cuz I'm done" So... do what you will with that information.
This is Scopely math for those who haven't figured out why nothing works properly...
Are we ever going to get the "Quality over quantity" we were promised any time soon?
Maybe next time you decide on an update, see what benefits the community. Older content made easier to obtain and all that jazz instead of heavy paywalls

Here is another idea on how to possibly generate more $$ without ticking off your players….in addition to the $19.99 pass option, have a bundle pass option….You get BatrlePass, WavePass, Outpost Pass and Ferengi pass for $50.
Before you complain that you would be loosing money, would you really? How many people buy every battle pass ($19.99 version)? Maybe, if it’s a lot, it wouldn’t be worth it but I have to think a lot are like me who is an “on the fence”

Scrap the latest rollout and hire a decent coder. Yall lost spenders originally due to bugs and instead of fixing the original issues you just make the game more expensive with the same issues. For a game based on a canon that includes a race that lives by logic, scopely is clueless. Think like a Vulcan. Not that hard.
Here's a thought, how about syncing our maverick task pulls automatically to the start of the maverick weekly reset. I know this might be mind blowing

Most games do this in similar design. For example 70/70 energy. 1 task takes say 5 energy, you get 1 energy every 10 mins or pay to get more 🤣. If STFC did this I would delete the game

Suggestions:
- add epic Reliant parts
- add relevant ship parts, consider ops and ship levels players have; not everyone is building a second or third specialty ship of the same kind
And in the other bucket
- add sourcing for the subspace relay building

We know scopely plan was to make people start buying this new refresh packs that noone would EVER purchase. The $50 sigma refresh pack is absolute terrible that only gives 31 refreshes, some lat, some multiphasic. If they added more into it like tournament regular/legendary credit, points, materials, i believe they'd be ton of buyers
What I never understood about them wanting feedback is they listen to Uber whales they have a discord, content creators, but they are not interested in inviting admirals from the top 1-3 alliances on each server or at least established servers. Running a top alliance is a lot of work at time and if interested has a good understanding of their sever and how it's members view certain aspects of the game along with big spenders not in the vip discord. A lot of games pay or heavly incentives top alliances and guilds because they see their importance and how much work it is to run one. But here they are not even interested in feedback from us.

i was thinking that ever since I got stuck waiting for new FKR missions and that we regularly have fkr rep events, what about giving us a tool to quickly find which missions we could get ? I've no clue to which system to turn to anymore now that i've done and what could be pursued, aside from the romulans my enemies 
and this in-game tool could also help us find our way to open a closed path - it tells us which mission we need, but how do we get to it ? I looked on stfc database and i cannot find how to trigger the chain of events to reach them
how ist this reachable? i have to kill 5x my enterprise to reach only 4782 points.

If you removed our ability to choose the officers we want to recruit with tokens, and instead created one huge bucket of officers (which likely contains many officers we have already maxed,) then at least have the courtesy to update the freakin’ officers that are available with transporter patterns… many of which have been in there for YEARS now!

Terrible arc updates that have obviously not been sandboxed on test servers under the same constraints as live servers, reduction of value for pay-chests is digital shrinkflation, and rolling out things that nobody is really asking for. It’s tone deaf and out of touch…
Transporter patterns are dead, can we get an option in Factions at the end of a loop to upgrade or roll transporter patterns into the new cadre or new officer recruit tokens? This continues to have folks play the game and get rewarded and help rid the economy of a dead currency.
Cadre seem to disappear in 24hours of earning them, so don't even suggest that trade off

Bring back Choice Tokens as a means for those of us who are light spenders to complete 10k tasks easily. Removing them for all battle passes was a slap in the face, let alone myself noticing a lot of the rewards in the free to play path (economy is hard rn, I can't afford to spend on this game at all let alone your updates are not compelling me to spend, but I digress) were drastically reduced. If you want to do a "Mythic Pass," make it like the damn "Double Feature" battle passes of the past, as I know those were popular. Plus, many of us rely on the system to complete tasks, especially in G6 and beyond tasks.

Bring back the old reroll tokens and sourcing, but keep the Sigma Reroll Tokens. Now, I know why everyone will be asking, "Why two different reroll tokens?" Well, for that, let's look at Scopely's newest property, Pokemon Go. PoGo has both regular TM's for changing a Pokemon's moves at random, but also Elite TM's to let trainers CHOOSE what move they want to get. I'm sure if you let people trade in 20 rerolls for 1 choice at a task they can complete, I'm sure they would be willing to do it. So, to summarize: Regular Reroll Tokens would randomize the replacement task. Sigma Reroll Tokens would allow someone to choose a task for the same point value (so, 2k task with a sigma reroll would allow someone to choose another 2k task from a list).

Elite tokens in the store are okay, so long as you have a plan in place to eventually move them into the range where regular players can get the items. When those Elite Items get added, make some of the older items either cheaper to trade in or increase their trade in amounts to make it easier for players to catch up. I don't mind exclusive content, but when it's stuff that's over a year old...
It's a chance to make things right imo. Ball's in your court.

With the change in alliance tasks and reduced rerolls, can scopley consider the alliance tasks refreshing every couple of hours?
I would like to suggest for future Incursion Events. It shouldn't be forced on players that are not interested in participating in the Incursion events.
Solution those that are wanting to participate in the Incursion events will have to move their station base to a faction space system. And those that don't want to participate in the Incursion events. Has to make sure their station base is at a neutral system. Instead of being in systems below level 20.
Miners doesn't have to worry about their surveyor ships being attacked by server raiders. As long as their mining ships are mining in neutral systems. Which would make the attack button disabled during the Incursion events. Also giving an advantage for miners to keep mining beyond their protected cargo capacity until cargo is full up.

And I can't see how hard it could happen. Since they've implemented the Klingon Armadas. Which is in Klingon faction space. It shouldn't be impossible for them to implement these suggested changes.
Well yeah but it would take 2 incursions to get it right. Remember the first run crashed and burned before launch.
True but players were compensated until the devs got it right.
Also another idea if players were to use the Federation ships in Federation faction space. Players would get bonus points for the Incursion events. And the same for Romulan ships in Romulan faction space and Klingon one as well.
But you do agree, it doesn't make any sense for me to buy rare parts there? 😂 Or any of the Franklin parts etc.

If Scopely thought they gave away too much then they should have just reduced the amount of Choice Rewards instead of going backwards.

Low to mid-ops a new server is fun though, with lots of new stuff appearing consistently that has been fairly well debugged. The problems start to arise in newer content at higher ops after people have invested lots of time and money. And nobody who is sitting down the first time to play the game will feel that pain.
Not sure they care too. Money is still coming in. So why would they care about our experience?

An agent you can ask anything. Where do I find these enemies? What are invasion enemies and where do I find them? How do I gain "Class Honor"?
u can already do that using ur prefered ai agent... go to chatgpt and try out. it will work 90% of the times

Do not include odds in new content. People go to through much to earn rewards and for example, I pulled new officers in academy refinery 4 times and two of those times got nothing but officer XP. Hard content/coordination/time/resources and in return we get, close to nothing. This is not the way.

If you limit the amout of Re-Roll tokens for AT how about you change the refresh timing to every 4 or 6 hours instaed of 24hours? That would go some way to show you actually care about the players who have stuck with this Bug-Ridden game for as long as they have.
It is a cash grab. But they don’t need too. They are now owned by the Arabs who don’t need the money. Just get us a non laggy game that works. If they do that people will pay for it. They will pack in a laggy game that doesn’t work
every 30 min they should auto-refresh, MOST people cant spend their entire days playing this game. Most can only spend an hour or 2.
1/2 of my re-rolls yesterday were waisted. I re-rolled task A, and got task B, I re-rolled task B, and got task A AGAIN!. how dumb is that? It just makes you feel bad. what kind of game makes you feel bad? -answer. - - a BAD game...

New Event Where's Worf
Would like to suggest a new daily event called ''Where's Worf" or "Today is a good day to hide".
Everyday Worf dressed as Waldo (or Wally if you are British) is hidden in a system somewhere.
The players need to find Worf dressed as Waldo.
When the players do rewards are given out.
The rewards will build daily if Worf isn't found. Once Worf is found, the rewards are reset back to the start.
Please let me know your thoughts.

Here’s some constructive input, put choice tokens back in the battle pass, greatly increase the rewards in the mythic pass, have a very good crack at solving the lag issues plaguing the game, previously working mechanics that have seemingly become broken over time need fixing (kir shara as an example), make the game fun again adding more and more arcs without archiving old ship arcs is bogging the game down with grinds that just aren’t fun anymore.
This is the first month I’ve spent £0 on the game and until I feel the game is actually taking players concerns seriously and showing genuine effort to fix the game and listen to the player base I just can’t fund this game any longer. I’m speaking with my wallet and in an ideal world other players would do the same because if you keep spending money on it then it’s obviously not broken and nothing needs addressing.
How about when a ship docks, if it has 5 minutes or less worth of damage, just auto-heal the ship when it docks.
Fix or replace leadership. It's the only way, and everything else will follow.
Want good content ideas for Arcs? Run a contest for players to submit ideas to base an Arc on. There's a ton of Star Trek lore that the player base is well versed in, which can give Scopely a good idea for where they want things to go to next.
There's even an idea for content just in that short paragraph I wrote - Lore!

I like that idea. But let's call it: Where are my points?
So I see an issue where they forget about lower ops. Lower ops are what keep the game going. You need new players to stay interested. Maybe in between the big arcs. Do mini one for below 50 all the way down to new. Maybe it will keep players engaged. Also stop focusing solely on p2p stuff. The spenders will spend. Give paths for f2p people that are realistic.
Create some other way to progress in terran faction, just waiting for a full squad is taking forever
the ffcuukup thing about terran is that it only happens once a week for that few hours only which i'm mostly not available for. this is mostly locks me out of that content which probably will make them think that i will have to buy packs for....nah .... thanks
Upper leadership, I doubt it's management. The issue is with the decision makers, not operational.
Honestly if they did this arc differently and used it as an expansion of the wave mechanic it is based off of it probably would of been better. there is so much old stuff that could simply be made relevant to g7 the sarc, voyger, vidar and many of the older ships you could make a hard lock like so many already have and do a 49$ buy unlock with a a longer ftp grind. if you are out of ideas that is fine there is so many old loops that can be made relevant look at how well received augment was. Plus by having a ground that has progression everyone will be more inclined to buy stuff because us higher ops players only would need to spend 100-600 most likely to have it be playable and relevant to what our expectations are then when you do have a goods idea for new content make the arc last longer and give it time to progress or keep it g6 g7 so it is relevant day 1. the cube would be another good one g7 is hard give us a way to put that into g7 introduce another progression track for it with a buy option same for the vengeance. make going into g7 easier other than having a vengeance you can still keep the slowdown on the uc fkr ships. There is a lot of opportunities already here that can be made relevant that player would enjoy.
I think to continue with the QOL improvements the slb and sms events for next arc should be replaced with nothing but XRLB. Both the sms and slb will be replaced and then the only thing to count for points will be multiphasic credits acquired.
Make it so we can source the hailing frequencies from previous arcs from the faction store
Honestly, Update 90 is the worse than ever: Alliance tournament activities have become become are made just for P2V players, no F2P tasks spawn and very limited rerolls, in many cases, they're bugged and you don’t receive any points for completing them... Daily lag. The difficulty level of the new story arc is far too high. Very often, when you move a miner, even though the movement is displayed, the miner stays put where it was, and you have to log out and back in; this happens at any recharge.
Over the last 6 months, the quality of the game has deteriorated significantly, and both I and many other players are considering quitting (for what it’s worth to you); there are too many things that can only be done by paying, and too many demanding missions and tasks – it’s becoming more like a job (for which we pay you, mind you) than a game and planned to give addition...
Please look into this.
I usually came all my dailies at around the same time every day. When I start collecting them it is usually pretty fast, ie no lag delays. But as I get into the faction stores for those it slows down tremendously and it lags a lot. I get a lot of preparing/activating spinning wheels in the bottom right of the screen. It’s frustrating. I feel like this is some kind of memory leak when adding the items to my inventory but I’m not a coding guy. This is on mobile also.
when I provide my email in a support ticket, please actually use my email address to contact me. I shouldn't have to check the chatbot on the support site every day to see if I got a response or not.
Make a endless ship pass, where people can complete missions to earn just ships, ship parts, and parts needed to upgrade ships.

Hi. I hope, you really read this. I do not often buy things in the shop because most packages contain a lot of items I don't need. Why don't you offer a price for single pieces and give us the option to fill our own container? You could make different containers with different minimum prices.
With the addition of "lease" buildings which add extra slots for a set time. Consider "leased" docks. These could be used for arc launches to test fly new ships. One could also rent large ships around friday or pvp events as well for a fee...

I think they should add some of the 8k tasks as acquire enough of (specific specialty ship or building) items for a tier or 4. Like get 10k dauntless parts for a 4K task. Then make the roll rate 99%. That’s way it balances it all out.

Pleaso turn off the "respons delay" in Transogen space, known as lag ... even with "large" distance between hostiles and miners, the "freezing" doesn't work properly ... either the hostile keeps coming at the ships, or the recall button doesn't recall and let's a ship jump out of there but still explodes in the TO systems ...
Suggestion for feature:
Abilities that apply to all members of an Armada (or similar team-based encounters). Would make for a lot more involved and fun buildcrafting. And the weaker players can still be of use by providing buffs.
Could be anything; multiple layers of defensive buffs; offensive buffs; morale boosters, etcetera. Buff stacking is loads of fun.

This game just has to much bloat. Today I spent more then 40 minutes collecting faction and refinery items between the number of categories and lag. It is the biggest reason I am considering quitting the game. It isn't fun anymore. 40 minutes before I even hit one hostile is crazy. Please give us some kind of collect all button or buttons to speed this up. I feel I am not alone in being fed up with this.
Now that the choice tokens have been taken away as they benefitted players too much, please let us collect battlepass milestones independently.
Please fix the field training. It has not worked properly for about a year now. No matter which one you select to view. You get a loading screen with asteroids in the background. I myself have put in multiple tickets about this issue. I keep getting the same automated response. We know about it and are working on it, or we have to manually reset field training. Stop coming out with new arcs, or new stuff all together. Fix what's already out and broken. I know I'm not alone on that thought, cause I've seen the messages in all feedback categories, and other tabs here on your own discord. So please fix current issues before coming out with any more content. It is sad that the game still has a lot of the same issues that it has had since its original release.
As you e messed up tournament reroll at least have the system refresh the tasks say every 30 minutes or am hour so they don't just sit there

We need officer that increases all piercing stats by crew stats (eg.attack) that works in PVP, preferably below deck. With current combat mechanics, increasing main piercing stat does nothing in PVP except vs combat triangle ship. So all research and effects that increase all piercing stats by base only affect main piercing stat (because other are non-existent), and main piercing stat only makes difference vs combat triangle ship. Any other target is not affected because that ship uses different stat for his defense than our main piercing stat is targeting. So the only way to influence damage reduction with piercing stats is to increase all by % of the crew (kinda like Bellana Torres in PVE).
I suggest coding the bug reporting/ticket system to require a response from one of your people before your AI says the player hasn't responded and closing it
You ever think listening to the player base and not trying to squeeze them for every penny you can? The new drone loop is insane. The amount of loot required is ridiculous for players. Instead of being ops like it is, should be building level based, so people actually have a chance.
I think we all need to think seriously about this game/company and whether it’s worth it. How people spend their money completely up to them, but instead of spending $1000 on a ship and filling Scopely coffers, withdraw the cash, walk down the street find some homeless person and make their week or set up a direct debit and send it to a charity worthy of your cash.
That said I enjoy this game and just want a game that works. That’s the minimum expectation. No lag, bugs you work on as a priority over money grab new content. As a pet peeve Field Training broken for months, not a major issue for most but systemic example of Scopely attitude towards players.
if you respond, it also won't tell you if it added your response to the ticket and is in fact keeping it open... it will just ignore you.
suggestions to help fix alliance tourney..
- Give us a few more rerolls per day
- Fix rerolls so its better (a low ops shouldnt be better something that is way above there ops)
- Re-add rerolls to the 10k task (but give less amount) and add reroll to the 20k task
- Decrease points needed for some kill tasks like The Sentriels, Swarm, Gron, hirogen
- re-add a 5k hirogen task
- Fix the store to show Both currency and stop it from poping back up
- remove those 750 tasks for the kill related tasks
PS. to help limit the re-roll hording which it seems like why you changed the rerolls to this new one.. make an actual limit so people cant go over that limit at all

Having Gordon Shumway, and others important Melmacions as Officers, Ships, and Story Arc based on the Orbit Guard from ALF TV Series, could bring new fun, enjoyable, and improved game play to STFC.
The Orbit Guard could even be a new Faction.
I disagree with decreasing points for this hostile grind tasks. Those are a lot of work!!! Adjust scoring so people dont have to hit 1600 hostiles instead
Decrease points needed as suggested is exactly what you're suggesting, an adjustment to scoring so that the grind required is smaller, not a change in the points rewarded for completing the task.
On mobile game, in the empty real estate at the bottom of the events window, or any event sub-window, including tabs for season passes and event store, add 2 buttons “Base” and “Galaxy” which will instantly get me out of the deep, slow, hole of events/passes/event store and back into the game where I chose to go.

My understanding is that apple and Google take a 30% cut of all in-app purchases. 30% is HUGE!
I won't debate whether or not ANY game publisher is "greedy" - all in-app purchases are an exercise in capitalism after all. However, the clear greed shown here is on the part of the app store "owners" - so actually, rather than being greedy, Scopely are incentivising players to purchase directly from them (out of store) by giving additional rewards for that route.

Agree with Scopes on this. They give me a different pay path at least and incentivise via the multi-phasic credits. They give me a choice and up to me if I go in game, double click Apple Pay with no additional benefits or log onto their site and get the benefits. Customer Choice!
I suggest that we also start a discussion about what kind of restrictions should be introduced against people whose sole purpose is to ruin the game.
I am talking about the system EMK players. They don't like the game. They hate her. They also hate the people who play it. They just come in for a bit, kill everyone's miners and leave. Some action should be taken against such players. There are people who have literally been poisoning the atmosphere in the game for years.
As an example - According to the principle of shooting games, an example ban can be put after killing the 10th miner, that player will be expelled from the game for 24 hours, which will then increase.

I'm talking about people who don't follow the rules and don't care about the rules. They just want to destroy everything around them because they hate the game and the people. The Game needs to have some kind of protection from people like that. What is happening on my server is simply unbearable.
That's why I think the limit on killed Surveys per day is a good start to limit the arbitrariness of such people. They don't look for PvP, they look for chaos and they know that no one can do anything to them, so they feel impunity. And what can you do to them? You kill them, you raid them, but they get remade cheaply because Scopely reloads them for repairs and they start over. That's why I insist that blocking them for an initial few hours to an extended period of a few days will be sobering for them.
STOP The weekly COTA Clones event series!! This is not enjoyable anymore. Best to make Interstellar Dominance a monthly event so we get to enjoy it and not feel that your only concern is Money as it will back-fire by encouraging more players to quit rather than spend.

I want our efforts to be worth something. We shouldnt have a task that requires 4 hours to do (because we are too high level or not strong enough). One point per hostile at or below one's ops lvl makes these tasks very time consuming. They should give 10K in Alliance points with the effort required.

You just described FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). Just because the event runs weekly, doesn't mean you HAVE to participate in it every week. If you did, you would eventually run out of stuff to do for each day. Just ignore it if it doesn't line up with stuff you need to do, or bank stuff and focus on it for one week for max rewards etc. The alternative, as you alluded to, is spending to participate but it's still a choice for you.
First, there is no official announcement that this event is a weekly event like they do usually, which means you may decide to save for 3 weeks and then you will get a kick in the balls. Also, each event they change the spend stuff without announcements, like last time we spent Latinum instead of what was in previous runs. This not FOMO this is a honest critic to a lack of event planing and just push events that get players money.
QoL Improvements AND Reducing Client-to-Server Calls.
1. Event/Task Milestone Progress
Suggestion: Display a progress counter (e.g., 2/4) in the header of the Reward screen once a milestone is reached.
Why: Players often lose track of remaining milestones. Currently, checking progress requires navigating through multiple menus to find a specific task. This wastes time and triggers redundant server calls that could be avoided by displaying the state on the reward trigger.
2. Direct Exit from Sub-Menus
Suggestion: Add a "Return to Galaxy" button (an "X" or "<<" icon in top right) accessible from all sub-item levels within Events.
Why: Backing out through 2 or 3 menu layers is frustrating. Each step requires a screen sync, generating an unnecessary server call. A direct exit streamlines navigation and reduces total server load.

New Mini Game: Would it be possible for STFC to have another mini-Game? Since Doom runs everywhere, e.g. caluctors, car dashboards....Doom would be the perfect Mini-Game to add into STFC.
Doom could be a holodeck mission, that needs to be found, then successfully completed. After that it could be played by players while waiting for ship repairs, mining, and other game activities.
30% is the standard throughout the entire industry, Epic Games has theirs lower just to try and incentivize publishers to put games on that store but barely anyone uses the store as Steam is better in every way for the consumer

Devs, Game Managers, Developers, and Content Creators... Please purchase a Dictionary and Thesaurus or use one that is free on the internet. Why?
There has been a vast amount of instances in which you're using words and phrases that apparently do not mean what (or possibly translate how) you think they do. Here are a couple strong examples.
- "We're Looking Into It." (This should indicate an active investigation with an implied goal of correction. Not just that you looked, acknowledged it existed, and ignored it.)
- "New content/events and improvements to boost player engagement" (This implies that the new additions will make players want to play and that the changes would be mostly seen as beneficial. Not that everything would be devalued or hidden behing pay walls and cause players to either leave or desperatelyattempt to find reasons to continue playing.)
Notice how the divergence between the intended message and the actual message could cause frustration, distrust, and animosity? Honesty is the best policy and using words and phrases that share meaning with your audience is the best place to start.
Something really needs to be done about all the dailies we collect for free. Anyone really over 60 that collects dailies. Many of them are useless. Needs to be an away to get rid of items we never need anymore. Same goes for what we get each month in currency that we can use or left with. This here would be a great quality of life for many players.
Could you change shields to add to your time instead of replacing?

Is there an event that is letting us trade in stuff for event points RIGHT NOW? Yes. Is it dead currency? No. Mine wants aggregation loot. I'm still using that. Lower ops are trading in loot like swarm and plundered cargo stuff that is dead to me, but is not to them.
Anyway. I'm bumping this because this is still me asking for
- Faction store bulk refine (I cannot stress enough that when I am pulling everything I want out of the faction stores, I am spending nearly 30 minutes of my life every day JUST doing this task not counting my other refineries, gift chests, and other stores. That's 3 1/2 hours weekly. That's 15 hours per month.)
- any sort of search for your items (y'all did it for research, you can do it here)
- dead currency loot trade of any kind. I'm sure the exchange rate will be total garbage but I'd rather get anything rather than sit here as an ops 60 staring at 4* transogen canisters I can't refine.
Based on how quick you can "fix" ANYTHING that benefits the players, pretend some of the bugs that have plagued the game for months benefit the players.
Make reading Discord Feedback channels for 45minutes each day mandatory for your employees before they are allowed to progress with their regular work. This will simultaneously simulate the time Refineries and Faction Stores take for players and either reconnect your employees with player concerns, or assist with the creation of more content that drives players away... Whichever more closely aligns with your current objectives (Players still believe it's the latter).
Try telling the truth and doing something proactive instead of paying lip service to the player base promising the world and providing nothing. You expect people to pay for your service but won't take the time or put the effort into making the game work correctly. If you want a paycheck you need to come to the realization that we are the reason you have a job Scopely. Start providing the service you have been promising for years. Or watch your $$ dissapear.
The inability to source this seemingly insignificant cosmetic projectile shard is a constant reminder how much content still doesn't have sourcing. Adding things like this to the Amalgam refinery should be fairly easy and would go a long way in building good will with players.
Here's a storyline suggestion for you.
You know, sooner or later, Scopley will start tossing new and used alien spacecraft on their site. Just for the sake of all the collectors out there.
So selling a Mega Cube isn't out of range of their interests.

New Event: Player Roulette Event
Would like to suggest an event called 'Player Roulette Event'.
In this Event, every time a player logs in, an random account is chosen for that player. The random account could be on a different server, different Alliance, or different level.
This would create new fun, an interesting element to the game and add a new level of Pure Chaos beyond the normal level players have came to know from Scopely.
Whales become noobs, rivals lead your Alliance, and that maxed ship? Now it's a dinghy.
Players will be loging in and playing just to see and experience the level of fun and chaos.
One of my teammates suggested it would be hilarious to have like a BDA officer with something really dumb like a 0.01% chance to totally destroy your opponent when you are attacked in pvp. Kind of like what the exile hostiles do where they totally destroy your ship regardless of power without even entering battle. The chance would be stupidly low, but it would work no matter the power disparity. You could be an ops 30 mining in territory and have a 73 come in with their biggest ship, hit you, and die because you had this officer BD and you were RNGesus's chosen one that day. It would never happen, but she said it would be funny.
Great idea, wonderful challenge... Play an ops 54 account where someone is far, far behind with everything. Or you get a rogue player account. Deal with enemies and do pvp all day long.

Factions. Recent ones are amazing in regard to what they offer at their end. Would be amazing though if factions like bajoran or Augment would stop giving rep upon max and that rep would count towards some other item in their faction store to continue to give it longevity and reward the player for ending the loop.

Alliance Tournaments tasks suggestions
- Please eliminate all waves tasks, no one wants to do those for the small amount of points offered.
- Please eliminate the Ex-Borg tasks for 750 and 1500 points, players level 38 and up should be trying to get and do tasks that give more points.
- Please add Krenim solos as a task option, like the Borg or Dominion solos.
- Please change all hostile hunting tasks to kill 40 for 3k points, kill 80 for 6k points.
- Please eliminate the current hostiles points system.
- Please stop cheating us out of 1k points, when doing the 5k point hostile task it is twice as many hostiles as the 3k point hostile task, therefore it should give twice as many points.

Poor game mechanic. This should default back to the event store instead of greying out and forcing the user to back out and re-enter to donate (or better yet, don’t grey out).

Real life has real distractions. So, while I understand the purpose of dark space in the game, it would really be nice to have a feature that allows us to fly directly into an armada that is located in dark space. Your spouse calls you to help with the dishes and you missed the armada, maybe causing a loss. One might argue that you can’t see into dark space so you shouldn’t be able to go to a spot there without being in the system. I would argue that your alliance mate is already there and feeding you specific coordinates and that should be enough to get you there.
Why don't allow the changing of ship's command on the fly? All in all Picard and Riker charge Geordie or Data to be commander in chief sometimes...

Hi, I stopped playing because it's a disgrace that you boast so much about the game and yet you can't even include a universal translator like they have in the Star Trek movies and TV shows. Many of my friends quit for this reason. All you care about is raising the prices of the packs and making more money. It's one of the few games that still doesn't have a damn translator and doesn't let you travel to other worlds if you're at a high level.

I don't agree with this because impulse boosts, like so many other things, are tied to ops level, directly or indirectly. Doing so would guarantee that the higher ops players had more impulse speed available, therefore making it worse for lower ops and players with lower powered ships.

The rate g6 armada chests credits requirements are not aligned to the uncommon and epic. Doing maximum loot and fully utilized all available directives led to heavy overflowing unc and epic credits while rare can hardly maintain 2x refine, not even a chance for 3x.
Don't count on them not nerfing it like they did to G5 Scrapping.

You haven't ran a Tranosgen mining event in a while..... so it would be so nice to havpaue it added to the regular mining events since so many people mine it now.
Keep officer depot tokens. It’s the only control we have for getting the officer crews we want. Slower officer progression in this game will just lead to a faster game death.
They are starting to really push the gacha elements hard. That change also really creates a massive power gap between established players that have the few absolutely necessary officers maxed versus the ones that need to win a slot machine 500 times in order to do the same.
Our newish server (717, less than a year old) have already seen players quit because of this exact same concern. New players see it, I’m surprised Scopely is so eager to discourage the new players. We have to see a path to getting officers.
The icing on the cake would be RNG for ship parts… oh wait… I hope I didn’t just give them a new idea…
The inability to ever even kind of catch up is a killer. There's a reason why the content creators are advising people to cash in on the same handful of officers.
Game designers know that increasing player agency is vital for long term success. It's stunning that this game is purposefully removing player agency. Just a core aspect of game design being completely ignored. It's honestly stunning. Just burning this game to the ground to run it like a gacha from 2013.

Alliance credits for Armada Control Center
You should really consider to decrease the amounts of armadas core needed. So many alliances are losing players and the rest are struggling a lot without daily armadas. In that pace it would take years to get the needed amounts (if any as almost no armadas are taken place at the moment ) to reach one level so players are just stuck and can’t progress.
Just use away team or join larger active alliances, it takes time but "years" is false
Don’t run the next arc , make improvements instead … make the arc after that epic ! Players leaving the game over this arc ( and the last couple of arcs ) my alliance alone has lost 5 big 70+ players , the numbers world wide must be crazy this month !

Before coming out with new stuff Scopely how about fixing all the bs thats broke
Starships are a major part of the Trek lore and universe. Crews make that happen. Consider adding a section to ships that can hold additional officers. These would be unique slots that can get boosted. The major goal of this rework would be to slot and provide additional bonuses to the ship when slotted. The abilities of said officer in the slot could get bolstered by the "ship synergy" This would help bring new life to long dead officers, allow players to come up with new solutions for in-game challenges. While adding this new game mechanic to ships would be amazing, I could see where game mechanics could limit it's true potenial. The same can be achieved with a new building type with various slots that could also improve ships, base or mining actions.
That’s a bit pointless joining a bigger alliance when 70 per cent of the players decide to stop playing or just nit in the mood for armadas. And nothing in the away team missions. I’m talking about level 55 or less it takes ages. Not everyone is a high profile and paying player.
Add Dauntless parts to the Ferengi pass shop. No alternate sourcing for this ship is asinine.

My suggestion: The Galaxy Map: Would it be possible to put a red/ any colour ring around systems you have completed missions or missions that are no longer available. It is so frustrating when you go to an undiscovered system and all the planets are grayed out. Even remembering ones you have done can be a struggle too.
Having the blue for undiscovered, white for discovered, something for completed missions or unavailable missions.

Please finally give us a long awaited announcement for a trading building were resources/materials can be traded with other players and maybe even a lease option in there so players can hire out ships to other players for latinum? This is a feature that should have been added years ago and I think it would add so much more to the game and its community. I’m sure scopely would find a way to monetise it and no doubt spoil the feature early days except for whales but still eventually it could be a good addition when the normal players get to access it properly. Also fix long standing bugs would be nice you know to make the game playable and the lag over the months has ranged from unplayable to tolerable this needs major work as it’s a huge game spoiler.

Suggestion to everyone making suggestions. Don't make suggestions that are either already possible as free to play with a little effort, or to add things that already exist with a different name. Scopely is aggressively monetizing the game, currently, so asking to make it easier to acquire something you can get free, or pay to get faster/immediately is pointless. Keep the suggestions realistic and beneficial to all parties. Example: Suggesting they purchase a Dictionary so the messages they send mean what they intend instead of the opposite. "Increasing player engagement" meaning we play more instead of leaving in droves.
Or make it 10 or 100 per so easy to add it up but at least they have the pop up every time done mining to show our progress...
I think advanced players are leaving in droves because as a high ops player 60+ there nothing to do but sit around waiting for Events they cant protect their lower level players since there's PvP restrictions etc...
Leaving because there is a sharp increase in content that is not possible to compete in, much less complete, without spending. New content and buildings scale to fast. Lvl 65/66 get killed by 1x lvl 62 hostile, and the refinery/event requirements are so high that killing the 61s takes hours to do 1 refinery pull to get the materials required to upgrade the building which is required to kill the hostiles... Basically, Scopely spit in the face of their most established players while simultaneously saying pay us for the privilege.

Yeah I'm sure that too as each player has different favorite aspects of this game but for me a player that likes realistic PvP interaction I know when I get to those high levels I'll get bored and not have anything too do because I don't care for the Missions and PvE grinding I personally would like to at least protect lower level players in my Alliance when I have nothing else do to in this game but because of these lame level restrictions I can't even be a pylon for them...
All the highest levels on my Server mostly just do childish high school mean girls bickering over Turf or roe violations or over owning their own private server discord so they can feel important in game by banning from their private discord those with opinions opposing their made up server rules/roe so yeah I think removing all level restrictions would give the highest ops levels loads to do on their own interacting with other players if they wanted to without having to wait for scopely to invent new content...

suggestion: a visible ship "buff" for a ship removed off a mining node by another ship. Displays like a buff to the miner in a report, with a very short duration (say 10 sec) and no bonuses.
This provides information to the player-generated RoE environment and uses existing mechanisms to add this information (buff/debuff routines)
Thing is that anything to do with player made up server rules/roe aren't real game rules at all and player invented Server rules/roe differ server to server so making game changes to accommodate player invented Server rules/roe makes no sense...
Every other game I've played like this one that relies highly on teamwork and alliances all allowed you to trade resources with your other alliance members. They may have put in a trade tax so to speak, but you can do it. And guess what those games are still around. Scopely should get with the program instead of being so damn greedy.

409 sounds like one of the newer servers (I am presuming it is right now but please let me know if it's not) so the age/power/population/grade of the server affects match ups (according to a previously released statement on the subject)... so it's possible that it could be there's no suitable server of a similar match and you'd be very outclassed.

Ok now that you people at Scopely have listened to your players (finally) on the verrrrry unpopular changes to the incursion scoring and have restored the usual scoring methodology, now its time to actually FIX the incursion scene as a whole...Your devs of all people should know this is a 24 hour a day game!!!!
By limiting it to 12 hours you are cutting out entire swaths of the player base, and (in economic terms) shooting yourselves in the foot!
We all know those who spend on the game support the playing of those who are unable to... but many on my server have witheld the funds they would normally use for incursions due to the drastic changes out of the blue. The changes altered the fundamental play of the game in instant A and B cut a good 1/3 of the Entire participation base due to your extremely unpopular 12 hour period, in a 24 hour game. Please listen to your players!!!!
None of us it seems liked either change n I see the reaction from the rank n file made you reverse course immediatly! Now do the decent thing for your player base n return the other part of incursions that you Nerfed and restore the 24 hour time period so my players can all participate equally no matter their work and life schedules... As an admiral I get often asked about research, with some trees being as large as they are, they sometimes overlook the one they need/want, especially when they're newer players. Having linkable research (have it work like coords) would allow me to help them faster.

And any existing purchases from the past is added to the VIP level progression bar.
VIP Perks such as daily generous amount of gold latinum, similar buffs to the Syndicate Perks system. Special deal offers for shop packs, especially for seasonal passes.
Make Tom Paris work vs players. He is exactly same as WOK Mccoy, except weaker. At least make him work everywhere (or just add players) (below deck ability)
There are several reasons why it's bad idea.
1st, you would discourage f2p players because the gap would increase. Without f2p players you would not have any advantage over other paying players, so it would be just inflation in the system
There are already rewards for paying players, which is the item you buy. You don't pay for subscription to the game, so you don't need additional reward.
The game would get easier, and Scopely already gives too much stuff out making many game mechanics irrelevant.
After short while you would take it as normal part of the game and wouldn't feel rewarded anymore, you would feel that's what you are paying for.
So basically you just want increase the content of the pack you buy. Maybe better idea is to ask for lower price.
The other thing you would feel sort of forced to continue paying to fill the VIP bar and not miss out.
I was specific in my previous message for the VIP Perks. I only mentioned for players who does purchase packs would contribute to their VIP level. Also I did mention discounts for buying battle passes and packs when players reaches certain VIP Perks levels.
I never said anything about a subscription.
Plus other games like Mobile Legends etc has that sort of feature that boosts rewards. And it could also act as a bonus perk for the calendar daily login rewards.
Summoning a hostile should refresh the system as soon as you click on the summon button. Why copy an annoying feature from the Voyager loop to Excelsior and not fix that simple thing?

I can start several hundred of these and it would be nice to start one as "10x", spending 1000 directives and getting 10x the loot of just one. Stop the FOMO. Go back to ONE battlepass. No syndicate, no ferengi, no waves. Put all that into the one battlepass. Territory pass can stay. Make it possible to complete the battlepass even if you miss a couple days.

New Officer and Building: Could we have Cyrano Jones as an officer and a Tribble Farm as a Building?
Cyrano Jones as an officer will only have below deck ability called 'Scotty gave them a very good home'. This ability will, depending on the level fill your PvP Opponent cargo with Tribbles, starting at 10% of the Max Cargo Space.
The purpose of this is to protect your cargo from being taken in a PvP loss. For example you are OPC, each combat round fills your Opponent Cargo with Tribbles stopping your cargo from being taken in a PvP loss.
The Tribble Farm would be the same but for bases. This means when a ship raids your base, a random 10% to 100% of the raider cargo will be Tribbles. This will result in a higher level of difficulty in raiding and a requirement for better raiding ships.
Let me know your thoughts.

I suggest that no bugs are fixed. Just roll out new content and don’t ever fix the bugs. Fixing the bugs would make it to un balanced so never fix the bugs.
Some kind of log for in app redeems and rewards. There is no way to see what you received from something like the Treasury.
Edit: Another option would be the option to automatically roll back a redeem for something like the Treasury
Give people credit for power destroyed for base defenses. It's rather unsporting to participate in that type of pvp, willing or otherwise, and getting zero credit for it on the server leaderboards or during incursions. Alternatively, give it its own leaderboard.
I'm not a G6+ player, but I'm an Admiral with members that are.
My suggestion is a G6 (or G7) survey ship that can bypass regular rss while raiding to extract just the Sigma rss without having to empty the regular rss.
It would get G6 and G7 players to shield more regularly.

Raiding as g6/g7 is a waste of time. With the ops level restrictions helping lower ops crack a base is not even possible a lot of times.

Create “sanctuary” systems, maybe with a special token to gain access. During incursions PvP is disabled in these systems, pretty sure there are a significant number of players who can’t stand incursions and just want somewhere they can relocate to where their bases cannot be raided.
In paragon recruit out of 44 officers in three I have 25 maxed, please I dont need useless transporter patterns, can we have system that adds only 10% of your maxed officers to bundle not 60%

Incursions should last 24hours not 12 so it gives more time for different time zones to make time to participate...

Pointless. You can continue farming with a full cargo and even still get boxes, so "jettisoning" is unnecessary. If you meant having it go into your inventory, the time flying to empty is part of the cost of acquiring.
Not pointless obviously you don't do PvP much because especially in Alliance Territory sweeping System by System in order I'll get full of Isogen Id rather dump so I can get 5* or 4* materials or when killing in Augment get full of Parsteel/Tritanium after one kill and want to dump it so when I kill a Cube there I might get Distinctive whatever it's called and I don't wanna waste time scanning before each kill it wastes time as does doing only the 5* or 4* Systems first I rather go in a line fast without having to Recall to empty or continue killing with full cargo so there...
You're right. I only do top 10 placement in Incursions every catergory and top 3 kill count every incursion, but I don't do PVP (Attacking miners isn't PVP. It's piracy at best.) Iso is worthless if you max the Meridian, and if you farm pointless hostiles to get technological distinctiveness, that's a choice, and you're underlining my pointing out the cost of acquiring. Further, the cube transwarp allows instant travel to and from systems. Use the Discovery to pull your ship back, use the Eviscerator to send it out again. No matter how you spin it, there's ways around full cargo that don't require them adding a button that will break 10 things in the game.
it would be cool to have player to player trade store option , like put up mats for another kind of mats you want. so you you can look for something in the available trade listings or put some trade listing up requesting something

Lets say you in some deep space with useless full cargo, you would need to use resources to jump to your station and back again to free up space in your cargo, it would be nice to ignore all that traveling or wasted resources and just jettison useless cargo and start getting useful stuff right away, I can see logic here
Refer to my previous, "Cost of Acquiring." You mentioned using RSS to avoid travel times, too... With the aggressive monetizing they've been doing, why would they be adding anything that allows you to not spend rss that may lead to you purchasing?

Dont you kill enemy miners youre at war with or raid their Stations...? In raiding if you jettison their resources you wouldn't have to move your Station next to theis just to save time...
This is an awesome idea every ship should be able to do this just like in the movies with the explosion radius being at least the size of a node so that any other ship in that radius will get damage similar to Borg cutting beam etc...the Warp Core Breach should be on a timer maybe 30 seconds and automatically detected by all Players ships in that System this would add another aspect to PvP so that low levels can damage high levels and also make it so no one gets their cargo also if Warp Core Breach to cause significant damage were an option it would really level PvP playing field so that high levels would have something to worry about from low levels so maybe the timer should be 10 seconds like the final countdown for Armadas that would give just enough time for players to run away from War Core Breaches if theyre able...I suggest if Warp Core Breach damage was implemented there would be no need for any level restrictions at all and all space can be realistic again just like in Alliance Territory Space👍👍

Remove all the loading screen texts and replace them with "The lag is being investigated"
I'm going to say this for the vast majority of the players. We don't want more content, ships, loops or resources. We want GAME STABILITY. You are losing more players and money because people are fed up with the bugs, not scoring, the lag and lack of listening to what the players want. The ball is in your court scopely
instead of adding more and more new things to the game why not add more levels to what we have, as you move up ops you get different rewards for X tasks for different factions like bajoran I dont need any of this now at my ops lvl or rouge
As this game is so flaky now and development so incompetent as we have to clear cache and restart to resolve so many issues. How about a simple fix making the game do this automatically on every start.

Scopley, you ability to acknowledge game issues in a timely manner is sorely lacking. After nearly 10 hours of the game being unplayable I would have thought some kind of action would be prudent. Now your just making people mad. An official announcement at the very least would be nice.
For Incursions, why not have both Armadas and Base raiding, what's so difficult of doing both and maxing out participation?
Please switch the announcement policy to only posting when the game is PLAYABLE ... until then, we'll assume the normal, broken daily mess.

how about tie the amounts of hostile loot required for pulls in the remote academy refinery to the level of the building instead of the level of the operations? The ability to kill the hostiles is most directly tied to the building's critmit bonus, not the players ops level.
Add functionality to maxed Kir'Shara: new button next to the regular add to queue one with the following tooltip: "fill up your attack queue with random hostiles in the current system".
...adds QoL and reduces annoying clicking.
Refinery cool down timer when getting common resource items. It's a bit tedious.
Remove cool down timers for refining gas, ore, crystal, isogen, transogen and ship grade 4+ parts. Because there's the factor of waiting for research timer to finish. Which is also tedious.
So many cool down timers isn't necessary!
Base skins.
Think ideas and gameplay from prior pvp type events like the mirror universe and territory control. The zone could be in either territory control 2.0 or perhaps some new area “frontier space” There is something about this newly discovered zone that has galactic and faction changing ramifications. A new area so imperative and yet extremely secretive. Friend or foe? You need to scan ships for identification. The zones would be system specific and hazard like or random. (as in you can’t fully see or have awareness initially) You need to secure and scan safe zones to deploy your research stations. If the idea of hostile/unknown hazard space doing havoc on our sensors wasn’t bad enough, it’s also the first implementation idea of hard-core pvp zone.. A player would only be able to build ships and or stations in this frontier zone. The catch? Once destroyed, they are gone. A new pvp/pve experience that would be more balanced. There would be a unique ship that could only be built for this zone. Research stations (think a mini version and more remote version of the players station with a building or two and a few phasers for defense) This would be more “fair” pvp as only a certain ship type could be built. Only certain resources in the zone could be used due to the harshness of this new zone players are only granted what they can find-discover, survive on to upgrade-repair their ships. Activity done either in missions/events or research stations kept online provide the player with rewards or research to be done on the account or to make their experience in the hard-core zone. New ship abilities could be implemented for this new hard-core play, such as abandon ship or overlord the core. Ideally you want to preserve your ship and last as long as you can, however the harshness of the environment my dictate you need to cut and run to live another day.
Scopely remove 3 star canisters as loot for the Suliban hostiles or just remove the hunters that drop the 3 star Transogen canisters as is they are another unusable currency and a game mechanic which is literally worthless
add 3 daily "q-trial sim tickets" to claims. once you complete a trial category (like 4* explorers) you can use sim tickets to instantly complete q trials.

This is a major change but here goes. In the refinery every player has different things they want to collect each day. The ability to pre select the items you want and have the game save your choices would be great. A simple check box on each item would work well. Then each day simply click a collect all selected button and its done. The same could be applied to Faction stores as well.
To pull just 1 chest of engineering credits from the training merits I must shoot 2,181 hostiles using a loot crew. Can we just scrap arc 90 now? And don't tell me there is a prime to cut in half the number of hostiles I need to shoot. I am no longer spending one cent after you remove choice rewards, the choice recruit tokens, destroy alliance tournaments, introduce ultimate armadas last month for incursions, although you have changed it back and I do appreciate the 12 hr run instead of 24 hrs.
I will add let players in the same alliance share resources and ship bps. Im ops 69 and I have all this 3,4, and pretty much 5 star stuff that I would like to give to my other players.

An impound structure in orbit around mission planets that impounds ships below Ops 10 after 2 mins idle, with impound fee to get it out. Sometimes there's so many ships in orbit around mission planets I have to blast away the clutter just to see the planet, IF they're in my pvp band. And too many ships are sub-10 and can't be hit by anyone. Either that, or a ship skin that looks like a 1965 Chrysler 300 Convertible (big as a whale) but it only allows the ship to set sail to Risa, where most of the clutter happens anyway. A lot in Rigel also.

Once again Scopley has removed something in game that makes little sense except to their margins. Removing the Battle pass overflow and reducing the number of free de-sealing rods is another bad move and a slap in the face to the player base. Return it to what it was. It took 4 months to get the Treasury already. Don't run the rest of your players off the game for greed.
Exocomp that increases the ships lower decks slots by 1 for 2 hours...upon expiration if the ship is deployed eject that officer out the airlock!
Maybe VGer subsets too.

If a player is chat banned, others shouldn’t be able to PM them. It’d be nice to see an indication like “this player has been banned from chatting and cannot receive a message.”
In alliance chat? Then just boot him, but if its global then you have no control on what others might do
I’m not certain if chat banned is even a thing or how it works. There’s a player I’ve been trying to communicate with but they never respond. Someone said they might be chat banned.
Well the player might not be in mood of communication, if you have no history with this player I doubt its chat ban, also might not be online

Like 80% of my time in-game now is spent hitting claim buttons. Are we actually being serious right now? Still no bulk “claim all” button? When is the “quality” coming to our game experience?

I have a better suggestion. Force them to play the game they have created for minimum 1 hour a day. Let them get frustrated same as us at how crap everything is in terms of quality of life. If they actually saw the problems first-hand, maybe we would start seeing some improvements we care about. Starting with a single CLAIM ALL button.
I’m sick of spending an hour a day hitting claim buttons. I’ve been a committed player since late 2021 but I’m honestly getting to a point where I’m no longer enjoying any aspect of the game because of the lack of QOL investment and the continuous problems with game-breaking bugs. Nothing sucks the life out of a game more than having to spend an hour a day on literally just claim buttons. 🫣
An EXIT button on every screen would make life easier and put less stress on the lag bloated servers.

Please move the outpost button when you are running one. Its a pain to complete Q-Trials cause you hijack the button. You could add that "Special" sale button... but you couldn't add an independent button for outposts?
Agreed. You think it wouldn't be static. Like other things such as events and such, you think it would change based on officer inventory, officer inventory, ops level, mess hall level... etc. Half of mine are maxed, so why are they still there?
Also.......Just adding new officers in general would help. This pittance of new officers is annoying. With the growing number of officers in New Trek, and the pluthera in old-Trek, you think they could add more than one or two every arc....... You don't have to add one only with a new arc... I think we can handle it.
Delay downgrade "update 91" by a month or two, instead of days, and fix the lag, bugs, ticket backlog, and event scoring instead. Updating those would earn you gratitude, and $$ by proxy, faster than another lag inducing bug ridden, impossible to finish new arc that is really an old arc with a new name and image.

Take a chill dude/dudette. I'm a veteran and have lost family members as well. Memorial Day and Rememberance Day share the same spirit. It is to stop and think about the ones we've lost in the line of duty. Scopely celebrating it is no worse than all the retailers out there selling hot dogs, hamburgers, grills, beach stuff, US flags, pins, and whatever other cheap stuff from China to celebrate our heroes. If you're gonna be upset about it, be upset at our society that glorifies monetizing everything. Not just one company that takes advantage of it. And they're not even selling anything new they weren't already selling before.

I imagine it’s not hard to program for good developers. It would make mining fun and not boring. They could make it get knocked out of bases. If the base repairs guns. Guns start attacking miner again. If someone decides to defend the base. They can knock them off the base. The person raiding/mining can’t shield. All easy mechanics.
They could take an existing mechanic. And make a lot of money and make it fun again.
Unfortunately scopely does not have good developers, they have a free version of chatgbp doing the coding so this’ll never happen

Events should not be relying on ship types of other players. Ships of other players are out of my control.
You do realize that they named this for a Star Trek in-universe holiday...... right? Yes, timed to be active during what we Americans call "Memorial Day" and yes.... some countries actually have a Remembrance Day...... this is a game based on a FICTIONAL universe, so its likely that sometimes things wont line up perfectly to reality...... and also means that sometimes some will cause the writers of the show used it to base an in-unverse thing off of. And I say this as a veteran who not only served in the US military.... but also spent time working closely with members of other country's militarys... so there's no really need to take offense in something that obviously was not meant to insult.
Why can't you make Q-Trials populate in your home system like Khan Challenges? Its sooooo annoying having to pop back and forth for a quick one-two-three bam... its over. And when do you plan on expanding them into G6/G7? It maxed out and now just do them for the dailies...... but no challenge at all.
Why..... they're one of the easiest of the lot. I'm making a huge guess... but I'd say crewing is your bane.

And launching it in the game at Memorial Day is still an insult, both to US veterans who gave all, and to Star Trek lovers by getting it wrong in the game.
2 months to scrap a g5 epic? Make it make sense please this is far to long scraping should max out at no more than 7 days imo no matter the ship, I’ve already just demolished half my fleet because tbh I can’t see the game being here still in the 3 years it would have taken me to scrap the ships. Please drastically lower scrapping times this is ridiculous.
The game is on its last legs as it is with players leaving in unsustainable numbers, the more you squeeze the rest of us for what little spare cash we have the more of us just stop playing. I’ve already lost several long time players I regularly chatted with over the last few months.
Don’t let the game die scopely listen to your players stop squeezing us for every last cent we have make the game fun and rewarding not spend $500 minimum this month to get anywhere, fix the bugs and the lag.
Or just ignore everything players keep saying and go quietly die already so we can all go forward and never touch another scopely game ever again.
As an addition if you want to keep scrapping at 2 months per epic then at least allow multiple ships to be scrapped at the same time perhaps without making it a paid $$$ feature would you like to scrap 5 ships at the same time? All you need is this new forbidden tech, this 15 level artifact which can be maxed out for a mere $1500 oh and this new scrapping building that will only cost $3000 to max out to make it useful, lets not forget the new 10 level prime research which enhances scrapping which can be maxed for the low sum of $1000……….
Please rework outposts. Who actually makes use of the pvp bonuses while occupying an outpost?
Probably 0.1% or less of outposters.
Suggestion:
Remove any temporary bonus upgrades and only keep the outpost specific advantage upgrades.
Rework the outpost mechanics so that retaliation hostiles spawn in 10 second intervals starting 3 minutes after the outpost has been captured.
No one likes wasting 6 hours on this and locking down up to 4 ship slots.

Can we please resort incursions back to 24Hours? And then can you also increase the PvP gap? I think a good idea is low levels can hit as high as they want but can only hit 10 below
The “cant activate peace shield because there is a pending battle” is BS. Station shields should have precedence over everything. Imagine Capt Kirk saying, “Shields up” and getting a response, “We can’t, captain, because they are shooting at us.”
It makes sense when you understand they want to remove hard work and planning of players and substitute sales and profit.. They're not happy making a good profit, they always want more.
The maroons don’t understand supply/demand curves. They are overpricing so bad that they are almost surely missing the max revenue sweet spot. That, and their demand curves are impacted by the fact that they are shedding their demand side customers with their greedy pricing and structures.

Well, November 11th is Veterans Day and October 4th is National Taco Day in the United States.... so Im sure that you would find some way to complain about that. And there is no mention of the specific date in canon, so there is no legitimate way to prove otherwise.... so how about you just move on and stop finding any and all reasons to complain.

We both know it is an attempt at a money grab by trying to relate the game to an actual day that honors American soldiers that died in service... Yes to the 24 hrs on incursion, but you're off one the PVP range. I'm a 49, can hit 10 up or 10 down. A level 20 can only hit 4 down and 8 up. Pvptarget.com

Every time this game has a major glitch like last night, the compensation should be a level that improves a player’s gameplay in a profound way. Enough with the trinkets.

As such, calling it Remembrance Day is an apt attempt at conveying the importance of the day to international players as well as US players, since Memorial Day is the American equivalent.
- I do not feel Scopely missed the mark, you are just looking at it from a US-centric approach while they are ensuring the meaning is something their entire community would understand.

For incursions claims or anywhere where this format occurs, PLEASE add the “ + “ button for convenience. It is really illogical to have that in some parts of the game and not in others especially monthly events like incursions.
A few options down regular officers have the + button but the Command Center officers do not. Having to redo 52 pulls instead of one like other spots in the game is favourable and consistent. Ease of use please. Thank you

Right? I don't think we ever heard Kirk say "we can't raise the shields because we're in a battle!" Or anybody on the crew for that matter.
On another note though out of necessity I've had to find out that sometimes in the middle of a battle it's quicker to relocate your base instead of repeatedly hitting the shield button hoping that you can sneak it in before they attack you again.
Instead of compensation for issues that occur, i would prefer a publically presentable root cause analysis of the issue along with actions taken to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future.
pvp needs to have higher weight relative to raiding in incursions. maybe have raiding scoring be per hit on a base and scale with the ops level of the player that is raided IE 10 points per ops level of station hit

I’ve lost 45 minutes of my life (or gameplay time), claiming or exchanging all in refinery and factions stores, etc. At this point of the game with a lot of sections and tabs, this should be redesigned or re-thinked.
Please allow lower/higher level players to still Scan higher/lower level players, instead of just the message this player is too high/low to attack. I do not want to attack, but to be able to communicate with them and also to be able to learn from looking at their crews. This whole level re-arrange things has caused me to no be able to even scan a player ship and send them a message. It would be lovely if we could communicate. thank you.

Those of us that have worked our behinds off to max these ships and favors and faction reps get to a point where its not worth even pulling any of it anymore... or we pull it cause it gives partial benefit..... but you still get a bunch of stuff you dont need. Few G6 (ops 68/69) examples:
-Voyager: You max it out, get daily pull of Commerce Insignias in daily IA chest.... but ship parts only give out G5 parts.
-GS-31/Gorn Evis.: You max it out, yet while the refinery does offer SOME G6 parts..... you still get G4 and G5 parts that are un-needed.
-Rogue: You max the Stella, and max rep for what? Once you max all rogue research and such, the loop is pointless and while you provide a prime research to provide G5 materials in the store, why not G6/G7?
Other suggestions: In place of new content, why not work on old content and bring it up to date........
- Why is there still a daily for the Mantis once you max her? You only need it to pull the Officer Shards. Why not add that chance pull to the daily IA chest like you did for the Talios?
Loop expansions (You need to expand some of the older loops that have become irrelevent to higher players in order to modernize them... and make them worrth still doing. For example:
a. Rogue Faction becomes irrelevent after G5, yet many of us still do it in order to help our alliances complete weekly events. We get no other benefit out of it. How about an expanded Stella... or a new replacement that beeferier and such like you did for the Vidar/Talios.
b. Bajoran Faction/Dominion
c. Freebooters. You get to 60... then what? You have primes that allow you to kill them instead of FKR, yet once you get past lvl 60, its useless.
Fix your game platform, bring in an exchange room for defunct items (I have loads of them from the past 2 and a half years) and lower your prices. If you can't do that, close down!!!

Congratulations Scopley, you people have got to be the most Tone Deaf folks going. This game crashes and burns daily, constant issues with rewards, lag, a complete change to pay to play for a game thats falling down around everyone's ears. Every other month you invent a problem, then the other every other month you invent a 99.99 solution plus who knows how much more we need to spend to make the refinery ship functional. The Academy arc is Dead, and as far as im concerned its going to stay dead. You make this arc entirely pay to play or go out and shoot thousands of hostiles just to pull one chest. Thank you for making sure I never spend one more cent on this game. I appreciate it.

Your compensation for these all too frequent game breakdowns, while admittedly better than nothing, verges on insulting… the STFC equivalent of “let them eat cake”.
Honestly, this game is so intricately driven by things that often come to you after you’ve gathered 100 shards (or more) of it. It really wouldn’t hurt the company one iota to be EXPONENTIALLY more generous when you make an effort to apologize for ruining something.
And, no, being extremely generous with compensation wouldn’t hurt the company’s bottom line, either… because there’s always something else to invest in.
If anything, showing you actually care about your customers’ game experience could very well foster more growth and brand loyalty.

hull/shield repair should happen at the end of the round, instead of the beginning of the next round. That way even if we kill a hostile in 1 round it still benefits us to have it.
When is Scopely going to bring back the Player Advisory Council program (or whatever it was called) that they shut down due to NDA breach? I can't help but think that bringing back this program would make a huge difference in getting STFC back to where it needs to be, especially with SVP Mr. Stewart doing his deep dive of the different STFC business units. This game desperately NEEDS input from the player base during the "content pause".

Change raw type so each ops level has benefit of the ALB & SLB event part now we only face max 5grade materials.

Just an idea but maybe allow players to engage with new content without a huge paywall. Ships for example. Put them in the battle pass. If you don’t want them 100% free then put some BP in free track some in paid. But make it a reasonable payment. Pixel space ships/buildings should not cost $100 so that players can play the latest content and enjoy the product you have created. Smaller costs (or even free) might win you back some level customer satisfaction.
How about adding a refinery to convert Transporter Paterns into Officer Depot Tokens? Or add more officers that can be advanced with Transporter Patterns.
Second this, especially now that "chosen" depot tokens officers are going away, please add a conversion from TP back to Depot to pull the RnG chest.
At least that way when we pull the same admiralty officer again or have completed them all (since those are not being updated either) we at least have the chance of some useful reward, eventually...
For the mining dailies where you can mine UC transogen instead could you add mining Rare Transogen. Theirs a point where you don’t need as much UC and its be a timesaver to mine rare for the daily instead

Right now if you use broken desealing rods to create a desealing rod but you do not use it to open the current treasury, you lose the desealing rod.
Please consider automatically opening the treasury when broken desealing rods are used to create a desealing rod OR allowing desealing rods to carry over between treasury appearances.

I’ve said this 1000 times so I’m just gonna say it one more time. Things like arenas, PVP bracketing and PVP systems ( I still have 50/60/70 in same system for incursions) should be based on shipyard level. It’s really the thing that makes the most sense. more so than ops level and more so than grade.
Here's the best suggestion ever. Shut it off for weeks fix all of the issues and replace all of your old equipment at the same time do not turn it back on for everybody until you have it completely fixed
Do you people realize how much money you could be making if this game ran the way it was supposed to? I would spend hundreds a month, but right now you get nothing. And there are a lot of players who think the same, they are not going to pay for your defective product, especially $99 for something that is worth 99 cents
No Wonder I can never get enough of them I've been playing this for a year and 2 months, and faithful with my pulling of all the chests and doing my dailies and I think I've opened the treasury chest once in that year and 2 months
They need to figure out a better, player equitable, exchange system so that we can get rid of all this obsolete garbage in our inventory that we can't search in. 😠 That would also help with the load on the servers because there wouldn't be as many bits and bytes and pieces and parts that are just sitting there never to be used again.
Update: I just read the info about the Voyage events. Great. Things will be discontinued(but we're not going to tell you which ones), we're going to allow an exchange of tokens so you can use the new and useless "officer bucket" to get officers you don't like or will never use, and we'll break more stuff when we do it.

Stop awarding things that we either get a ton of already, or are useless to most 60+ in new events. Give 6* Mats, 6* (Not 5* like the 6* Solo Armada Chest) RSS, or anything that actually helps progression.
I don't know if it would require new tech, but having milestones for alliance events scale based on number of members and average player operations level would probably be needed if there is going to be an increased focus on "alliance gameplay"

Can you make the game more interesting?
The system for depleting resources from bases has become tedious, even pointless, for a long time.
Too many players are quitting because progression is too slow and too expensive for simply collecting chests or resources.
Dedicating only 1% of your monthly time to PvP, with rare events like the Incursion or the War Hall, is no longer appealing, as 99% of the remaining time is spent on PvE.
It is imperative to review the rules and create consistent and stimulating combat situations to revitalize this game, which was excellent at launch but has lost its appeal due to the time wasted on a repetitive and costly system.

HOWEVER.... you still have to go to the correct system level for the other task that is based on stats.... damage, etc, otherwise it doesn't count. Im ops 69. I can go down and kill 10 level-68 v'ger/orions... however I still have to go to the level-69 system and kill enough of them to get the 100pts of damage.
Wouldn't it make sense to update the points for that challenge as well... otherwise you still have to waste hulls going up a system to basically blow up trying to get the 100pts of damage. Just food for thought.
In the same way that refineries have “Bulk Refine” you need to put a checkbox in each faction store item and have a “Purchase Selected” or something to that effect. Having to wait 3-5 seconds in between each “purchase” is a massive playability issue with all the different faction stores. I’d rather make my selections, do one purchase and wait 30 seconds all at once than have to wait for multiple seconds for every.single.purchase.I.make….
I actually have high hopes on the new proposed event changes, Making the game less time consuming to complete what you need to do in a day is one of the big things pushing me away. In fact I would actually like to start spending again but really the only thing I need, probably like most others is sigma trit and parsteel. You have a good parsteel package how about making one for trit, or including more sigma trit in other packages. I fell like I am wasting money buying a pack for trit because I do not need another rss for what I am using it for no matter if it is for ships research or buildings. If it was kept mostly to ships it would be different or if there was enough in a station and research pack to do said thing the balance or trit does not reflect the need of the purchase.

i was looking at the Emerald chain, the pvp bonuses shouldn't really be there as it gives an unfair advantage to players in big alliances and might affect small alliances' recruitment pvp as it stands its quite tricky with so many factors affecting it. Can you PLEASE update the officers that are available with transporter patterns? This is probably the sixth time I have requested this. I have 8.6 million transporter patterns that I cannot use because I've already maxed all the officers that are available there... many of which have been in there for at least 2-3 years now! Since then, you've added numerous new officers to the game.
What are the chances we could get an additional "fun" option on arena days. Themes or fun rule sets that players can aggree to. Realta Arena.. G3 only ships , Only specialty ships, Forbidden tech is forbidden. You know fun ways to do the activity and have it be a lil bit more fair and balanced?

Every time you claim something you get the black screen that says Star Trek Fleet Command. Delete that black screen and you’d eliminate 50% of game lag and cut your servers power bill 50%.

Token transogen space needs to have much bigger nodes. Especially since the cost of pulls goes up significantly. Having 1million or less nodes is insane. Please fix this problem.
I think Stella Armadas really needs work and help. It seems like a few people do them and when they do, they dont help other people do theirs. It's very disheartening to not get help like on an Epic eclipse Armada and you waste your hard earned tokens only to be defeated with little or no participation. Can we figure out what can be done because a lot of people are also getting angry that Epics and rares are Stella only. They think that they are being left out of those as well. Alliances often lose people because of this. Thanks!

Not at all trying to invalidate your frustration but this sounds like you need to find a better alliance. The Eclipse armadas are meant to be paired with the Stella. Members need to grind a bit to get the Stella and then they can join in, too. The rewards from these armadas arent much help to members without Stellas, so their getting angry is a bit silly.

Congratulations Scopley, your nerf of the academy training drones have allowed me to go up 1 ship level to 62, and I can shoot 8 ships so in order to open 1 chest I need to go back 88 times with the loot I got last month. Well thanks for making this a Dead loop for me, and making sure I Never spend another Cent EVER on this game. The Independent Archives setup so the NX-01 doesn't finish until ops 71 is a Joke as well. Why bother adding it at all.
Everything is easy to grind in-game. I don't understand the problem with that loop that it's OBS 71 locked.

Had you FIXED the lag in your system players could breeze through those pulls quickly without the need for Scopely to spend money on developers and programmers.

Please consider some way to disable the insta-warp question on ships with jump drives. I did not anticipate having to click on an extra question every time I go to switch systems, even right next door. An option in settings to disable the jump drive question on warps less than a minute would be a HUGE improvement. Otherwise a toggle somewhere to turn it off/on.

when can we get a native Linux client please? unity makes it so easy to build for Linux. lots of us either use Linux as a daily driver or use the steam deck or other portable machine to play games now and windows/Mac are not the only big contenders any more

I would also like to see a filter on officers to what they apply, Armada, Hostiles, Outposts, Wave Defence etc.
It is very hard to properly crew ships without a spreadsheet or database.

Lower the completion requirement for archiving the NX-01, probably the greatest feature that’s ever been added to STFC and you have to go ruin it, I thought the whole idea was to tidy up old arcs and remove the grind so we could look to new content not just endless grinds being added on top of endless grinds already in place. Please don’t spoil the archive building make it what it should be please. Also increase the cap on the archive tokens or lower the amount needed to reach each archiving milestone on each ship, why should a massive QOL feature be locked away behind months of saving tokens then blocked by ridiculously high ops levels to neatly file that specialist ship away? remember that the community is asking "bulk faction claims" as a QoL improvement for years?
now that Scopely finally listened and implemented this feature it is locked behind a "login streak" wall to make sure that only a small percentage of the (daily active) playerbase can use it. so every genius idea is getting watered down or even torpedoed by an exec at Scopely to make it the most 💩 reality.
needless to say they couldnt implement it in tested working state and it caused more bugs than without this feature. vibe coding is working best as a bad example how not to code a game.
great job on the bulk refine for factions, but remove the 7 day log in to activate, it should be available to all anytime like the refinery bulk refines, and now add a master bulk refine button that will claim everything at once

OMG this is spot on for so many reasons. Other options would be nice for PVP versus PVE, and since some officers have both abilities, make it so that they show up in both searches. I still would like the trash option for unusable inventory that you will never bring back, and you know, scopely, all that stuff you make a save in our inventory because we have no way of getting rid of it, bogs down the server even more kind of like the memory on your computer or phone. The more stuff you save in there, the harder your device has to work, the slower your device will work, and the less space you have on the server for it the function properly. 🙄 Your techies should know this Scopely ( @queen pelican <@&509690795536941056> @autumn tapir ) but I digress. You're on the right track, for how long is everybody's guess, but it's progress nonetheless. As soon as you have fully promoted an officer in the new depot token store, can they just be removed for good ? Or bring back the old depot choice token stores where we could actually choose who we wanted.
I will not bother to spend any depot tokens in this new store as I already get enough transporter patterns elsewhere.

Silent Nebula new ROE and feature idea.
Players that mine at Silent Nebula shouldn't be attacked by random players. Instead the attack button will be different. Once the mining node is depleted. Another player can send the other player's mining ship back to their home.
The reason why an improvement is necessary. It's because there is a limit to visiting Silent Nebula if you've used all 8 tokens.
Another improvement for Silent Nebula. There should be at least 35 mining nodes. Plus Silent Nebula's should be excluded from Incursions. Then players can mine in private without anyone destroying their mining ship.

CHOICE tokens should have a option where you can CHOOSE from a list of selected officers so you can more easily get an officer that you need instead of gacha style 🤣 (just an idea to implement in the future)

Why on earth have they removed the officer depot feature in the event store, one of the coolest features in the game, allowing the community to go after officer shards they really want..........and replace it with officer depot recruit, removing the ''free choice'' completely, forcing the community to waste tokens on random pulls, only to obtain officer shards they absolutely do not want/need?

Thought the aim was to keep the community(your customers) happy and have players re-activate their accounts......however, it's continued wrong decisions(like incursion change, alliance tournaments change, choice rewards removal) that are actually pushing people away from the game.

Losing the Officer Depot was pretty brutal. But, if you are going to keep the current system, please find a way so that maxed officers are removed from the gacha machine. Spending the new tokens just to get 500 low value transporter patterns is brutal.

New Officer Depot is awful. I used to be able to choose the officers I wanted shards for. Now, I get useless Transporter Patterns or shards I don't need. All of my Transporter Pattern Officers are maxed. So, I have no use for those. Please add more officers to the Transporter Pattern selection area!!!!

idea: when a currency [token] ceases being of use any more, it should become a discount trade item with Quark. Quark knows where in the galaxy those are still in demand and could make a limited market for them [this being Quark, the value offered drops over time].

here's an idea, make it to where you can scrap the Franklin A for NX-01 parts.....that'll give people a ship to work on and make the Franklin valid again.....not unreasonable since Franky is the basically the same class ship

10% of the playerbase is likely almost 99% of their revenue. In most monetized mobile games, the top 2% are the vast majority of all revenue.
But you did hit the nail on the head with them. You can't have a duo event for an item that is 61+, let alone one coming after a widely disliked arc and a decreasing player count. I can't even ever find someone to even to do them with. They should be solo events. I think I have killed two waves alone and am 7th in the SLB on my server. No one is doing them. No one can do them.
The internal metrics have got to be horrible for duo waves. Even in a few months when more established players have them, the numbers will still be horrible.

Since now we have no control on which officer we get- wouldnt you agree that the price should drop dramatically? Factoring in the rarity of the tokens now, and the lack of choice I would say that perhaps 25% of current cost is appropriate
This is a "just for fun" suggestion, but here goes – I play another Scopely game, Tiki tripeaks solitaire. Putting this in as a mini game at Quark's or on Risa (maybe with some other casino type games) would be fun when we want a break from the grind.
I'm not suggesting it going in the Warp Dive bar, because that would make it inaccessible to lower ops players who deserve downtime too!

This is a personal example, but let's say there were only 5 of those 125 (exact number is 117) that i would buy willingly. They would need to give 2500% shards (25 per pull) to match the same "odds". Even then it's still just a gamble. Just to put down with numbers how messed up the change is. From 100% to 0.85%...

A suggestion regarding the SS Revenant, since there have been numerous issues with people scrapping at the proper tier only to have the refinery "break" after the scrap (i.e. refinery tabs vanishing leaving 0 way to acquire ship parts).
Why not just eliminate the scrap portion of that loop. You can still award the 10 day claims for each Evolution and instead of scrapping to receive the next Evolution skin, just make it a one time claim in the refinery at the proper tier (5, 10, 15).
This would eliminate any "failed communication" of ship tier between the players end and scopely's end. This was actually explained as the reason to me by support. It would also eliminate this as a potential problem reducing support tickets and player stress over waiting on responses.

Not to knock your idea but I would still rather fully promoted officers get removed from the pool, so we don't get any more transporter patterns. I personally know someone within my alliance who has 22.9 million TPs.

on some pages the bulk claim minimises to the side, but it keeps resetting to minimised. Would be nice to have it popped out permanently
Suggestion: let us be able to TURN OFF the kirshara artifact. It really goes against completing waves, especially the new duo waves where you gotta be quick. Since it doesn't look like its gonna get fixed, turning it off would be a lot better instead of being frustrated with it freezing your ship especially in waves.

Because it’s honestly insulting that we’re now paying the epic shard price but can end up with only a rare shard, or even worse, and way more likely for many of us, is that we’re paying out our hard to get depot tokens for transporter patterns, which are also worthless to a lot of players at this point. The depot shouldn’t even be called a Depot now that it’s random. Imagine going to the train or bus depot, and only being able to board a train or bus with a random destination that you don’t get to know until after you’ve paid for your ticket?? Makes zero sense. It’s just a much more expensive recruit chest now, and it sucks. Even worse is the 26% chance of getting nothing but Officer XP from the new Duo Wave officer pull. I’ve only gotten two pulls so far and got Officer XP both times, what a slap in the face!!
QoL suggestion: preview of what the improvements are from a promotion.
Just sank my resources into promoting E-Picard, to then find out that only his bridge skill improved and not his captain skill. Being able to see what you buy with such rare resources is something that should be in place already. I feel robbed right now.

I'd like to start by suggesting some more specificity in the tutorial regarding where to find level 3+ enemies.
Lots of people are getting lost on that part because they look around their system and only see level 1 & 2 enemies.
Maybe add a tutorial there or some extra information to show them how to go to different systems to find higher leveled enemies? Or include it in the mission itself.

Our Suggestions already sent to support:
- Allow minor ships to return automatically to the base when a mine is exhausted.
- The idea of a merchant who would spend all the X times (time to be determined). The latter could notably offer the "sale" of scarce resources in exchange for Latinium, basic resources, ... for example at a fixed rate.
- Allow the exchange of resources between players with or without conditions.
- Ability to interrupt the distortion (very practical in case of error).
- Ability to refuse a mission: especially useful at the faction level if we do not want to validate a mission that removes reputation points on the factions we want to be seen. Not that it rots our list of missions in short.
I firmly believe that alliances are vital to promoting and maintaining player engagement. Ideally I would like to see a much higher cap for alliance membership numbers. At the moment to progress from alliance level 15 to 16 takes an astronomical 33500 contributions for 2 member slots, which stifles the ability of alliances to bring in fresh recruits. I note there is already a channel for players-helping-players on this discord - the best way for that to happen in game is already in place, and that's the alliance system. Please give us the room to be able to accept and teach new players 'the ropes' of the game and build solid communities that will encourage people to keep logging back in.

Can I suggest that you log a support ticket before posting. That way there's evidence of the issue or suggestion in the system. And equally evidence if that's being ignored.

Support is not working as intended. Hence there is a significant amount of pent up frustration because players have nowhere else to go.

One click for opening chests. And have the buttons closer so I'm not tapping all over the screen. Back buttons should be top right next to a close button. I find the interface a bit irritating because there's stuff all over the place and I'm jumping everywhere to get at it. The refinery needs some upgrade info. And it took a fleet mate to tell me where to find the research tree while doing research. It's got to have an access point next to officers, items, ships etc. It's a crucial part of the game and shouldn't be hidden away
and for the 10min/4hr/24h chests, why not balance the rewards a little ? sometimes i get more out of 10min chests than a 4hr chest
It should only be possible to accept certain missions at certain lvls. Instead of having missions that are impossible to complete for another 15lvls. The active mission log is then full and players become stuck
Also Factions need better explanations, as many players start down FED path as the missions are almost thrown at you. Then almost impossible to switch to ROM or KLI

First of all allow me to thank you @nocturne lantern, @nocturne lantern and any other moderators and devs... for the game and this discord.
Secondly i'd like to propose "a few" changes to the game for user interface and quality of life as well as some possible features that would, in my opinion, improve the game.
🔸 1 step help button. There won't be a person that will not help everyone in the alliance. And adding a screen to see who to help is unnecessary.
🔸 alliance management leaders have it rough and we need some help making sure we maintain order and activity... to that end:
🔹 last online feature.
🔹 growth chart weekly
🔹 locator for members/ base strenght stat.
🔹 panique button if member was attacked. As in if a member is attacked a notification is relayed via report to the leader.
🔹 targeting. The ability to place 1-5 markers on the galaxy map in order to establish targets or enemies on the galaxy map for all members. (It could look like systems with quests but a different color)
🔹 nicknames in game. Like titles... lets say we have a heavy hitter and we want him to feel special. We can name him Khan or something. (Basically an option to give members a sense of belonging)
🔸 scouting warning. In every god damn show getting scouted would pop up a warning. Here's should be no different.
🔸 favorite coordonates. Set up a memory bank of 10-20 coordonates to be able to access quicker. Oh you want to go to a system that has ore 3*? Bang favorite... you have a system with a quest chain? Bang favorite... etc etc etc.
🔸 lets have an emergency shutdown for warp. Recalls are annoying but... sometimes the wrong ship being sent on a trip is as bad or worse.
🔸 ship names... we all want to have an "Enterprise", a "Kelvin", a "Defiant", a "Voyager". Etc...
🔸 searching the ships by faction. Looking for ships that you can get from a certain faction can be a pain if you're not a trekkie.
🔸 mission related...
🔹 selecting categories: main, faction, optional, discarded(unless we can get tthe following point)
🔹 option to delete quests/delay quests.
🔹 When having to attack a ship in a mission. Put power and type in the description.
🔹 organising missions by type: mining, attack, donate etc...
🔸 resources on galaxy map. Adding a small icon for parsteel/tritanium etc...(could be added next to the name/level) for when a node is free.
🔸 setting the blueprints as a way to "overclock the ship" say you have a fully maxed ship.... and a lot of blueprints for it. add the ability to use the blueprints for a special extra tier.
🔸 refinery chance explained. Right now it just states chance. And the 15k/ 50k aren't specified what you can get either. Just 2x/3x... but it's vague and therefore unreliable.
🔸 Decommisioning ships. Enough said.
🔸 unblock the forced building order (past level 15) people will still need buildings for research but we'll be able to select what to focus on. (And just to make sure that things don't get too over the top we can set a limiter as -/+5 levels of OP.
Disclaimer: I tried to make sure i didn't use other people's suggestions but i don't make any promises.
i'll keep an eye on things and when i think of more i'll add another list.
P.s.: can we get a chest description? Like what we can get in each chest... 10 minutes/ 4 hours / 24 hours.
Hostiles that can be hunted that drop G2 and G3 ore and gas and crystal the same way that hostiles can currently be Hunter for parsteel and Tritanium and dilithium.
Ability to move existing crew around without having to return to base. For example, changing the captain when moving to a mine with a different type of resource so that the captain buff can be set appropriate to the resource being mined.
Yea that would be a great one the the crew can be shifted as long as they are on the ship, just like in real life the ship wouldn’t need to go back to base, hey would just change seats.
@robust bluff you reminded me of something: officer quickloads. Have certain sets of officers saved and added at a moments notice. ^_^
Ability to set "bookmarks" for favourite systems or base locations of enemy targets so you can warp to them with one click without having to search the galaxy.
In the meantime, you could write down the coordinates, maybe?

- Gameplay where a PvP hit can be +/- 9 levels, so a ship of 1M strength can hit and detroy a ship of 100K strength, there needs to be an allowance taken into consideration for strength, not just levels. For levels more like -2 or 3 and + whatever.
- Ability to change servers/instances so that we can join friends who have joined and are playing on a different one.
- Recall miner when the mine is empty automatically
- One button to recall all ships at once
- Improve support replies - the cookie cut ones are not working and just adding to the frustration, "sending it for feedback" is like throwing something at a blackhole, nothing ever comes back out.
6.Cancel warp so that the ship stops in the next system - it is too easy to send the wrong ship or recall instead of locate. It was mentioned that a popup confirming if warp was required if it was over 10 mins, that isn't necessary (but also helpful) just give us a cancel warp option - Mines in higher level system should have significantly higher yield mines at the moment they are at the level of a level 9 or less system from before November build. There were also a few level 9 systems that had 100K Tritanium mines previously, not all users can or do go out into deep space.
- More mining nodes as already available on the other instances and screenshots provided to us by those players.
- An update to our maps so that they are the same as the ones on other instances and screenshots provided to us by those players.
- Missions are unachievable, what used to be a donation of say 10K is now 10M and at the rate of mining my great grand children may just make it - this is now part of my succession plan in my will 😂
- Recycle old ships back to blueprints and regain all raw materials from them.
- Ability to share resources within an alliance to help lower players build faster.
Please bring back the one-for-one PVP and PVE chest drops. URGENT.

Bring back old mining rates and volumes for dil, para and trit (like on digprm sever). Basically no point mining those resources past lvl 10 since rates and volumes are so low.
Increase resources dropped from maruders there roughly 1/10 what they used to be . Due to the broken repair costs there not worth grinding because gains are lower than repair costs.
Fix repair reductions both platforms and research reductions are still broken.
Majority of officer bonuses are broken and also need to be fixed....officers are the main strategy element to this game since the ship classes make it a game of rock paper scissors. All the broken officers have been reported and still no fix. Also need to look at bonuses not activating when two ships have the same officers they cycle in turns of activating has been like this since early beta and still not fixed. The descriptions of officers bonuses needs to be overlooked since some don't make sense like Hadley says he increases warp speed but still increases total warp distance by % of ship warp distance.....
Items such as parts G composites/raw materials need to be able to be converted or sold. Old digprm sever allowed you to exchange g2 composites to g3 in faction store but was removed. That should be brought back and include parts.
Allow us to remove (impossible) missions that requires a strength or donation that we will never get to. The descriptions do not provide enough information before accepting them and once your list is full you are stuck.
Here's a good idea... Employ some computer coding programmers who can actually encode fixes to bugs that have been reported by us players for over 2 months. And maybe some in house game testers to test the fixes BEFORE they are released!

Currently there are griefers camping the mining spots and hitting each mine in succession as a way around the pvp limits so they can continue to grief lower level players who just started playing on the flimsy excuse of "pvp chests" and "loot" (I quote two specific players here) This makes mining almost impossible and therefore the missions involving mining equally impossible to complete. Either: pvp restrictions needs to apply to mines or they need to be tightened up or make it so ships mining can't be hit or at least not without a countdown and warning notification to the player on the mine (it would take some time to find where mines are located especially in space I would think so the miner would have a chance to leave if they were on and paying attention) or just remove or change all missions with mining requirements. Mostly I think that is why newer players are on the mines to begin with.

don't make it harder than it has to be. Players tend to quit games where even getting started is an impossibility because of toxic ingame community and bad behavior
I personally have not been able to get onto or mine ANY G3 materials for more than 2 weeks. If it wasn't for my faction standing I would not have been able to refine anything.
Miners are easy pickings for aggressive sociopaths. Unfortunately mining is integral to the game so you really need to fix up the defensive capabilities of miners or something. Maybe a reduction in power rating but loot and bad rep in return. You gotta balance that out somehow. It's one of the biggest frustrations of newer players and probably the biggest reason for players quitting. Plus the foul nature of global chat

There will always be bullies on servers, just the nature of any game... What is missing from this game is a method of players to forge an attack alliance to tame these bullies... Example: we have a level 31 player who has an attack range of 10 levels. He is exploiting a game bug where you can farm bubbled bases suckling the resources dry from smaller players. Based on game mechanics with crazy repair costs and exceedingly low resource drops from reds (marauders, etc) and low mining rates, the top 5 players who could hit him can't afford to.
Dtr the -9/+9 is deliberate and not going anywhere from what i hear

Yeah the system is totally out of whack. That's not sustainable long term. It is not 'interesting and challenging' to be constantly ruined by a higher level player you can never touch. That's just idiotic quite honestly. The game is going nowhere fast if that doesn't get fixed quickly.
needs to be -2 +9 or at the worst -3 - and does there need to be a ceiling limit? If you are level 15 and want to throw your ship at a level 35, why should you be stopped from doing it?

You seem to share several of the opinions here. Unfortunately this is not the impression given by the developers, especially during the last assignment of questions / answers on the old discord.
I am thinking in particular of this kind of response from them:
I give an example: The developers seem convinced that their almost unique way of giving resources is good: that mines for resources + refining and not much else except the event's. So no possibility to exchange our resources with other players or any NPCs Merchants, etc ... They do not want to implement the possibility of "negotiate" resources. The mines will remain exclusive for that at first.
Moreover, they do not seem to want to change "radically" resource requirements after a certain level.
Honestly, I think soon leave the game, especially because of this kind of answers that we have support. And to be in contact with a lot of world of beta testers server, I can say that I am very far from the only case. It really feels like you're not being heard.

That's why I'm talking about the developers and not the two people who answer us here. Q2 is freshly named community manager and JB is moderator. They share many of our opinions and I wanted to say here that this is not usually the case of people who answer us on the support of the game and obviously developers during the last session of questions / answers.

I’d like to know what the actual business model for this game is? Because it seems designed to suck people in, offer them cheap bundles and a lot of interaction (players, building, etc.) However, within a week or so of playing it is no longer possible to really advance without forking over obscene amounts of cash with diminishing returns.
There is no server migration at this time, so it seems like a “churn and burn” scheme to keep opening up new server instances and filling them with unsuspecting victims.
I can’t for the life of me comprehend what the long-term business plan of this model is because it seems destined for abysmal failure. I would rather pay a monthly subscription fee and have an actual balanced game to play than the current pyramid-cash scheme.

I invest in my leisure spent in such interesting and challenging opportunities. I wish this was one of them but sadly, it is not. I hope that can change and I made an initial purchase in good faith last night. We'll see what goes from there.
A possible solution to the mining thing would be to require players that hit others on the mines to stay there until their cargo hold is full or until the mine is depleted.

I think a reputation is needed for players. If you keep hitting miners and low level players your reputation drops. At a certain level anyone can hit you and don't get a bad rep (unless a 'war' is declared between guilds). A war is a drain on people's coffers. They lose materials and health through general attrition as well as gameplay. A bad rep means that other things in the game become more difficult, upgrades, repairs to ship, missions etc. There should be a downside to pvp. You may get loot, but your power levels slowly decline. This does not happen if you are at war.

After being told I misunderstand the game, I repost what I said in the other thread and say I don't misunderstand the game I aim to improve it. As of now, there is no balance and therefore pvp sucks. It sucks real bad. So there needs to be ways of balancing it out and making it interesting. These are suggestions, they can be improved, others may be better. Right now pvp is the most frustrating for many players, certainly not rewarding. If that continues, many players will leave. Make pvp interesting if that's the main reason for playing. Over and out
Our Beta server was closed but solid activity for 6 months ... the changes made 4 weeks ago has killed activity... most of us have moved on to other apps like Nova Empire until launch where we were promised exciting changes and nothing happened... now it is quiet... tumbleweeds quiet...

Me personally, I've had 8/+ resource related bugs still outstanding where payouts never happened that are well over a week old and still not resolved...

I thought Nova Empire was a money pit. The fact that they had to keep opening servers and that when a server was far enough along for server wars sometimes that meant 8 players v 8 players when 2 servers fought.....ouch... Nova Empire does have better support than that

The 'excitement and challenge' of pvp is something like this.
- Spend a veritable fortune making your starbase impregnable.
- Hit a bunch of miners one after the other
- Goad the upset players via universal chat.
- Watch your power levels increase astronomically.
Rinse and repeat.

This is not a pvp game... unless you define pvp as an enounter where only one side is active 90% of the time and the other side isn't capable of mounting an effective defense

@nocturne lantern Could you please ask the development team to consider limiting attacks on bases to warships only? Having faction miners be able to take millions of RSS in one hit is unsustainable.

My thought to fix the PvP competitiveness issue is instead of basing the ability to attack ships on your Ops level, base it on ship strength...
That gives players of all levels the chance to attack and defend themselves against ships of stength that makes it a fair fight...
As far as bases go, that could be restricted by ops level, 5 levels either way until level 20 than 3 levels either way after that as the strength of ships skyrocket... And as Corban Aurellion states, miners should not be able to attack a base...
Because right now there is no challenge and it is not fun...
<@&509691205798592532> please change the navigation system to accept star system names as well as XYZ coordinates. It's a mobile app, and typing in long numerical coordinates is excessively laborious and requires a notepad. Being able to type in 'doska' would make life way easier.
Plus on the tv shows and movies, the captain usually requests systems by name, not by coordinates.

As it stands i have never used the search function to find a system, it is far easier to scroll and use my eyes...

if they revert the mining rates back to what they were the ship rep costs wouldnt be anywhere near as bad, also need to increase the booty you get from killing marauders to make them a bit more orthwhile to farm
Because of only "violence" related rankings, people think that is the way to "win" the game.
Why not also create "peaceful" rankings like "Alliance help sent" or "systems visited"?
