As far as we found out so far it's doesn't matter as long as you pull five Chests at once since each time you pull for example the Avatar and/or the Frame it seem to skip those that you already own and does another Shuffle so even while those 3% might seem at first low it shouldn't be this time to hard to get the items you are looking for. Such an end result of an 5-Chest Run would look like this then (as always Scopely didn't fixed the Chest Counter but that's an different Story):

dont complain about that, we had to fight to get that back, the armadas are useless, so this is a way to only have to buy the directives once, and then every time the event comes around you can do 1 for free without having to buy more of the directives.

i know, thus the ...., you could ask rev duece how much ive complained about voyager mining nodes and having to reset the game for them to refresh properly. He said, they said its a client sync issue that not all servers have. i personally dont believe it. only those nodes, and trellium nodes that can move have the issue, the fix is simple, change them to static spawn nodes. No idea why they wont just do it...

While what you say can happen, it’s not always the case. There is a degree of being smart about it. For example my Quv ‘Sompek when it was only around 400M in power was able to take down a 1.2B power Rotarran.
The way some other PvP events work is fine with me, only getting point for hitting warships, so farmers can mine in peace, but let’s not have a “War Room” event with no war.

March of progress, just claimed, ops 43, just got 27 million points, thanks but still need 87 million to finish, I pushed did 100 million points for the month but still another 87 million is crazy. Plus could have added a few more rewards other than ship parts, could have added more incentive with some g5 or g6, for g4 players to help earn stock up for primes perhaps. I know some at different ops levels (56+) that have not reached their first milestone.

So 14,000,000 in building. 28,000,000 in platforms, and a mere 37,333,333 in research. Spread over a month, so 500,000 in buildings, 1,000,000 in platforms, and 1.5 million in research EVERY DAY. G6 didnt even have a chance. the only reason i got anything was because of the comp chest, i was around 150m before they gave that out today. According to Rev, 0% of G6 players finished the event. I am no math expert, but I have to say, someone in scopely did the math wrong on this event. It needs to go in the back 50 and stay there. The only way I can see g6 needing this many points is they tracked whales, even tho they said they didnt. This event was laughable at best, down right scrummy at its worst. Do better Scopely.

You needed to average 113m power increase PER DAY to make this event work. I managed that over the course of 24? 23? days. and its not for lack of upgrades. I did a ton of research, almost capped out of g5 stuff to research now. Bunch of station upgrades, including docks, turrets, special buildings, FC and artifacts. The numbers didn't work. Also, can we stop the month long daily spend events, it feels like if this is the norm going forward, where you expect people to spend $100-200 per day minimum to complete these events, you are just going to push the player base away. You want retention? Make the game better, stop selling us packs. Packs will come naturally when people are playing the game and enjoying it. There is no reason to race to the finish line like these events are trying to push us to do.

Is it just me or is the scoring still incorrect on part two of Saris has returned events for doing Away Teams? I've been completing a ton of these, and it's still not finished. So I checked the scoring. It says completing an epic mission gives 2400 points for it. I only got 800 points for that!! It's only giving one third of the points it's supposed to! I checked the events and bug reporting channels but I don't see that anyone else has reported this yet, which is odd. I'm having a hard time trying finish this event with the scoring so messed up.

Response to my ticket re: New Year’s event

Hello Commander! Thank you for contacting us regarding your concern with the "A New Year's Celebration" event, please note the following:

Daily Login Issue - If you were already logged in before the event started, it won't count for the event. Worry not as you still have enough chances complete the log in objectives as this event runs for 7 days.

Mining Issue - You need to dock your ship back to base for the points to reflect. Also, the Isogen scoring has been updated to correctly reflect 1/2/3*. In addition, there is a visual bug issue with the character limit for the Mining Objective Values but rest assured that the team is looking into it.

Hostiles Issue - The "Defeat Fatu Krey" objective has been updated to "Defeat any hostile."

As for the displayed milestone points, this has already been fixed.
We will be sending out a compensation chest later today with 1600 NYE tokens while we are working on resolving the duplicate rewards. These can be claimed from the Gifts store once per day for 5 days.

I personally am not a fan of these gambling style event rewards ( new years celebration ). So this is maybe more opinion.... I opened 40 Combat chests, 10 Epic and 13 Rare. I opened 40 Station chests and got 3 Epic and 11 Rares. Also, no frame but I did get the Avatar. ( Why on earth would you leave that up to Chance? ) Honestly, the rewards are decent, but the chance component really can take the joy out of it. Many of us are planners and calculators. Its just not my jam, imagine if you got zero shards 🤣 . ( I did get zero on a 5 chest roll )

My 2 cents: Holiday Events and Celebrations should be fun and rewarding to players, not grindfests to keep "Engagement" over the holiday season. It reflects how people see you. Then, Incorrectly displaying the goals - giving limited instruction or explanations just adds to a negative look, in how you develop this game. There's been nothing Celebratory or Happy from these events to reflect a feeling of holiday spirit. (2 bit change hand outs, while your overall grindfest event is the main centerpiece doesnt count).

It's all about grind, grind, grind and a feeling of loss if you don't manage to complete. But they don't factor in, or find the players resentment(casual), a big deal. The "fix" is always a derisory comp chest (or no comp chest!) and more of the same ill thought out, third rate and plain shoddy events, chasing more and more cash before the game finally implodes.
Seriously, look at the previous 12 months of broken content, lag, failed new features, the "quality over quantity" fiasco etc.
But, why on earth would Scopely bother changing while they can get away with selling premium content that still doesn't work properly, or bring out a new ship and then flog it to death, to a degree l don't think l've seen before...With almost every event seeming to require you to have bought the Revenant to compete/complete so many events.

I know you’re not the dev team but seriously Scopely needs to really start learning from these but it seems like they double down on the cash grab and appease folks with crumbs. I’m level 38. I know we don’t matter to you at scopley but why give me tasks I CANNOT complete. I can’t buy the new ship and even if I could I could not build it. And even if there were someone in my alliance that had the ship and would let me tag along, if I had the directives, I couldn’t even get to the lowest system with polygon armadas. Which has a warp range of 105 which is not attainable with any ship or crew I have. Highest I can get is warp 98. You have all the ships level locked. I shouldn’t be required to complete something for the end reward I cannot do no matter how much I spend. Which I won’t till your product is less buggy.

<@&509690795536941056> So Scopely does not scale contributions to ops levels. The event today for contribution is impossible for some to complete. (And it is NOT mark heroic). This is an ops 31 who is an Alliance with bigger players. Doing four contributions took them down 2 billion plus. P.S. Tbh, it could be challenging at any ops if someone is in a “big” Alliance. Lat is precious (for speed up) to many giving the insane amount of time things take to do. Others may just not have that level of rss to do that much Alliance contributions in one fell swoop.

My feedback would be that I feel a new year’s event should be achievable by individuals. This is because many of us were inspired to come here via a recruitment by a content creator on twitch or youtube. These would be very small alliances to start. Often people are then recruited into larger alliances, where they could achieve greater goals. But in my opinion, you went to a lot of expense to attract people like me, by paying for these campaigns, only to introduce an event where we have to rely on many others to succeed. The amount of lag that is occurring during incursion is inexcusable. Where are the stability and reliability upgrades we've been promised for over 2 years? This is absolute amateur hour. I cannot even see what is happening in real time. My base was just attacked despite my screen showing that I had a shield, the shield marker showing I had a shield, and the shield program advising me i had a shield when I tried to apply one. If you people cannot get enough server hardware up to run an event with some SEMBLANCE of a playable experience, DONT RUN THE EVENT.

It actually depends on what time you opened day one. Day 2, 3, etc will be the same time as that, not at the same time as the whole server. My Day 3 has been open for 4.5 hours now. You can click on the "Day 2" or "Day 3" etc and it will tell you when that one will open.

But the top award requires 2240.

This seems like the parameters are a bit too narrow for this incursion sms. you can get taken out by a higher ops player and not score any points because their ship isn't on the list of scoreable ships. and a lot of people use different ships for pvp at the upper 40s lvl than the faction ships too. it's felt like pulling teeth to complete this

The "Infinite Incursions - Championship XSLB" should to be reworked somewhat because as it currently stands it's just a reward for win-traders or even those who make alt accounts on opponent servers. I was super confused when, after winning only 5 combats, I was 2nd place for damage done in my bracket but not even top 50 for PvP kills. How are people getting hundreds more kills than me while dealing far less total damage in the same level bracket? Then I looked around and saw the reason, an account on one server just repeatedly running its Realta into the ships of an account on the other server, and not just in one system but in multiple systems.

After playing out the event to a few hours from its conclusion, I am still top 5 for damage dealt and top 9 for raiding but still over a hundred kills behind some of the players I'm beating in those two rankings. I'm not going to say for certain what the best solution to this is, but here are some ideas: limit each level bracket to only counting ships relevant to their level bracket; instead of counting the raw number of ships destroyed, count the number of other players defeated; or, simply switch its rewards with that of the "Infinite Incursions - Invader Damage SLB"/"Infinite Incursions - Defender Damage SLB", since that one roughly measures the same thing for non-cheaters but currently has much worse rewards and is much harder to game.

I spent a great deal of resources to rank first or second in the daily SLB so I might get the last 100 points I needed for the ahead of the curve event. But I was not granted them. So I missed the final tier of the event rewards. And on top of that they removed the selection from the event store tab so even if I’m granted them final reward as I requested in my in game ticket I won’t be able to spend them. After a month of grinding and spending resources to get the reward scopley dies a rug pull. So typical of them. I don’t know why a keep playing with the lag and the errors and the general sloppiness if the game all whine being actively 🪛

I had no clue events from yesterday / this AM - would roll into a NEW Ahead of the curve event. How could I. I'm out Event completion. There have been multiple desperate attempts to try and FOMO us into buying it, which to me says it didn't sell as well as you exepected. as far as I'm aware, you can't. Could be wrong, but I still require 800 points to complete the event, and 160 points would come from those two events. Remains to be seen what the events revealed at reset will provide, but the average from daily events so far seems to be ~450 points, so seems to me that all events will be required for full completion of the milestone

It's unfair to servers that have their Incursions on Sunday for the store to close 24 hours after awards are given. If you get more then 1 or 2 trophies it's impossible to spend them on the reward you want due to the silly 22 hour cooldown.

I'm completely disliking that I won't be able to reach the finish line on this because I have an impossible event on both my accounts. On my US36 account I have a "Defeat x Xindi" when I am 100% incapable of defeating any of the Xindi. I've checked with the others on my alliance and they confirm I simply don't have the right stuff acquired or unlocked to even scratch these hostiles. On my US93 account I have two tasks that require a cloaking device...but I'm on the Federation faction track and won't even have access to the one cloak-able ship for that faction until I've managed another 7M faction points.

You know for the events that require ship repair times or trit spend on ship repairs, you should calculate the goal based on a target number of repairs for a player’s ship.

You know their ops level and what faction ships they should have. Plus the level of repair speed or cost efficiency. If you target a full repair x3 of the most expensive ship they have, then make the milestone reflect that for the individual player.

Scopely is 100% invested in pushing you to G4. They don’t want anyone staying in G3 any longer than necessary (aside from not letting servers ascend for forever 🙄). So while you make a good point, the likelihood of it happening is effectively nil. G3 is no longer supported, and the game starts at 40 now. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if keeping polygons for G3 was a deliberate move. Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised that “what about G3?” is a question they no longer even ask.
