Of all the feedback that came in: No free Amalgam path, better new Officer sourcing,... The one Problem that needed a quick fix was the immediate or sooner release of the drydock? Well, the feesha itsel is a somewhat boring ship (as its predecessor also was). I appreciate a path for higher ops players to gain a bit more daily lat from an upgraded ship, however the upgrading pace is rediculously slow. It wouldn't hurt to have it on t3 or t4 by the end of the arc (speed it up by providing parts from events) but it looks like that it will just be a 3yr grind.

The new feature (feesha) is not that enganging on it's own - and pairing this with a very light approach on event density makes the game look very stale. Today it's just kill some swarms (or borg probes) and mine your stuff. done. Looking into the event calendar this doesn't seem to get better

Then there is the new dock. This isn't really a "new" feature as docks are already in the game. For several players this will give them more flexibility, however charging 49.99 for this seems a bit much. I guess players who buy those 99.99 station packs will just enjoy it for free "on the house".

We all know, that the Amalgam was premium only and that it will arrive for f2p somwhere down the road. But as it has always been it will be a lengthy grind of some sort. The grind could just start now...

Ridiculous that a G4 dvor isn't better than a max original dvor out of the gate. Old research no longer applies to the new one. Leveling it is slower. I can't use it for the old lat nodes...

1. Tooth rapair alloy is definitelly NOT for low lever players finaly be able to raid higher ranks, simply because they will NOT be able to break through that high level base, secondly because that ship is P2W ship, and third because it need $$$$ to upgrade it to an amount that will start having a good use.
2. G-dock is having a great letter in RL, but in the game, it is a P2W thingy and that will not benefit much as ppl dont have dvors maxed to be scrapped and get dvorA to a sufficient WARP level to even start mining properly and at the same time mine classic lat that this totally uncool ship mining rate has.
3. evreyone was expecting Vidar A as you, buglagely (pronounced scopely), have never utilized BORG the proper was in the game considering these BORG are the archer enemies to the galaxies....
4. prolonging ppl leveling (denial of alliances hop helps) makes you, SCOPELY, loose money actually as ppl would then pay for ships, but if they cant build it, what is it good for ehhh? math lost in space i guess.``````fix

Extremely underwhelming arc. People want inexpensive, grindable warships, more G4 nodes, and a better balance to the power scale. You guys delivered a sequel to an unpopular arc, made it somehow worse, and fit it in just in time for tax return season when people are actually eager to see something new and exciting. Honestly, I should say thank you. This arc has given me a reason to close the wallet for the time being.

They should have the same opportunities as those who are willing to pay.

3 years into this game and still the chat system is complete garbage. I've played many mobile games that had way more robust chat systems. Simply being able to send a message to all the players on my roster would be a huge help as posting in AC gets buried quickly. Why no basic internal email system? Why no basic translator? None of these things is that hard to implement. The only update you all have really given in 3 years was being able to change from horizontal to vertical. Woohoo. Please try and pretend to care what we want in the game we waste our lives on every day and ultimately contribute to your salaries. I think you can afford to hire 1 person to dedicate to this. Give it to an intern, I'm sure a good Computer Science major could whip up something 100x better than the junk we use now. Thank you.

Based on a Condensed Latinum Node in Wolf (Base Mining Speed 53)

Ferengi officers are assumed to be at T1 for these calculations:

T1 (Level 5) Feesha = 54,675.2028/hr
T2 (Level 10) Feesha = 58,753.574/hr
T3 (Level 15) Feesha = 63,530.8668/hr
T4 (Level 20) Feesha = 68,454.6304/hr

Level Gate 1 OPS41:

T5 (Level 25) Feesha = 96,933.7193/hr
T6 (Level 30) Feesha = 105,611.1337/hr
T7 (Level 35) Feesha = 114,618.436/hr
T8 (Level 40) Feesha = 124,498.4787/hr
T9 (Level 45) Feesha = 135,335.0124/hr

Level Gate 2 OPS51:

T10 (Level 50) Feesha = 199,402.4088/hr
T11 (Level 55) Feesha = 217,528.7639/hr

Bonus maths for nerds:

= (53 x (1 + 1550%)) x (100% + 12500% + 25% + 80%)
= (53 x 16.5) x 12,705%
= 874.5 x 127.05 = 111,105.225/Hr

since it was asked... T9 Faction miner will mine at the following:

Antares/Kvort/Valkis T9 + Full Synergy Crew = 129,286.08/hr

so super - super bonus maths for nerds:

= (53 x (1 + 1820%)) x (100% + 12500% + 25% + 80%)

= (53 x 19.2) x 12705%

= 1,017.6 x 127.05 = 129,286.08/hr

Why does a new "Specialty Mining Ship" suck more than a Horizon/Faction miner if you're below OPS41 running the new crew designed to mine that resource. It's literally a one trick pony and being outshone on it's one trick until you're in the late 40s and 50s

How about addressing your technical support organization. I entered a ticket last week because I was lucky to get two full pulls of Harry Mudd in one pull. When I went to level him up only one of those pulls was shown. Entered a ticket, received the standard “get to you in 24 hours” response….Next day I get an update saying support is swamped and it will be more than 24 hours. So far, so good. My main issue with this arc is the step back in playability, increase in time spent in game, and basically being a step backwards. The dvor mistake allowed us to mine lat once a week, and got enough for the whole week of refines. This meant less time in game, less overall. Now I have to mine daily to get the 2 chest pull, since opc is so small, I need to do 5 runs which takes time, concentration and in game time every day.
The same issue with the lack of 4* mines. It just means I have to spend more time searching, hunting for mines across systems that I cant look into and have to send ships on rotation to try find a mine. It just takes too much time, too much focus.

Make this part of the game less stressful, less time intensive, less time searching and people can enjoy other aspects of the game, although that does mean those other areas will have more focus on them.

When I contacted them to ask to be given the same reward, I was told that wasn't possible because that "wouldn't be fair" (wtf?) and they shut the ticket
When I escalated the issue again, I was told that they would be removing the excess reward from players who received it - this was a blatant lie and never happened

I can prove I was lied to as I have screenshots, yet Scopely won't even engage with me about this, they just close any tickets I raise
They also close tickets raised via their e-mail system
And despite the FAQs on here saying to contact the Mods if you're having issues with customer support, when I tried PMing one of them they ignored me too

Scopely. This is my argument to you that the officer pool to draw from has become so diluted that you are never going to be able to max officers like those that have been playing from day one have. Here is a single triple draw of Ultra chests. Out of this draw, maybe 10 of these folks have been in the game since day 1. An early player would have pulled 30 shards from just that smaller subset of officers, so they pulled a LOT more shards for them each time meaning they could actually max them. Here now someone will pull from 200% more officers in the pool and never make it to full unlocks. The only folks I am pulling transporter shards for are the ones that come in multiple packs like Discovery, Faction, and Ultras.

You raised the number of pulls for an Ultra chest slightly, but did not come close to matching this new pool. To truly account for all the officers you have added to this pool alone, even tripling the single chest pull from 10 to 30 shards would have been needed to have the same maxing potential of early players.

New officers are great, but they are worthless when you can't get them.

When you hit level 40+ there is a need to constantly scrap ships like mayflower and legionary for g4 materials or it is completely impossible to progress. That’s fine but levelling the ships to level 45 just to instantly scrap them is really a horrible and unpleasant task. Could you change how the scrapping calculates from ship level to ship tier so you can just max tier it up and scrap It for the max rewards without levelling it to 45?

And yes, I did put parts into a 2nd dvor. Why? Because for the cost of 1 upgrade for a t8 part, I could get a new dvor to t6. It takes 16% of total dvor parts to get to t6. T7-T9 is the other 84% of parts. And the refinery payout is not good enough to help with that. It needs to go up, or there needs to be a way to grind the parts (like the FM's for the Franklin)

But, I mean, apparently, we players have more maxed Dvors than not maxed, so I guess I am in the minority (even though my alliance would largely agree that that seems wrong....i.e. most do not have a max dvor)

I had the expectation that the path to the amalgam would be along the lines of 4-6 months before it would have a f2p option. I think any more than 6 months is too long personally, but we've seen some things take longer (such as Jaylah sourcing), or even not be available f2p since introduction (such as certain primes needing prime particles). I hope they make the new dock available f2p eventually.

I can understand paying for the additional build and research slots, as those directly speed up progression, but otherwise you can still eventually build and research everything you were going to build or research anyways..... They also provide far more benefit for newer players than those at a higher level, because of how accessible speedups and lat for speedups become. The extra dock is a huge QoL improvement, as the game has more resources needing to be mined and more ships and officers available for pvp crews than before..... But I'm not going to shell out that much money for it..... Just that 1 new dock is more than half the price of a fully fleshed out PC game right now..... I've got lots of better places to spend my money than that.....

Tbh, I'm even less inclined to put money into even the battlepass at this point. This month has taken on a very strong p2w vibe, and I really dislike that..... Pay to progress faster, sure. Not pay to win.....

Dvor Feesha - concentrated latinum, Max 630% Base mining speed

So it makes sense, the horizon is faster, because its drill is better

I just ran some tests, and it almost seems like the warp routes going in to and out of Balduk are broken (in our favor).
Pheben and Balduk are supposed to have a warp range of 61. But... when I try to navigate to Pheben with my Sally (60 warp range) I am able to get there through Balduk.
If I try to go to Pheben with my Frank A (80 warp range) it takes me straight there from Lankal... and you are correct, it is faster even though my Frank A is slower than the Sally.
So... all I can figure out is that the warp routes going to Pheben through Balduk are broken in our favor, allowing ships with a 60 warp range to pass when it really should be 61 (actual warp range limit may be lower, I haven't had the time to test).

There is no use for steel,trit and dilth miming nodes for players 35+. Since there is a shortage of g3/g4 nodes. Propose tech research that adds those nodes a chance to also mine g3/g4. Steel/crystal, trit/ore, and dilth/gas. This would also give op hunters a 2ndary source of rss and those over populated nodes would get extra life. G3/g4 miners would get additional sourcing. *cough amalgram would have an additional use.

For a game called fleet command...there are no fleets. We have a station full of lil used ships. Perhaps "fleet missions" similar to away teams but for ships. Missions like combat patrol, explore territory, offensive/defensive could be used to give those ships xp and additional parts rewards. Right now out of a hold of 50 ships, we only use 10 or so and would use the scrapyard more. As well as offload unused ship bp to support the fleets. Additional missions of producing ships for syndicate, rom/kling war effort would also unload excess ship bp.

I think the issue is that this game doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Most players play, or have played other games where there’s a mechanic where if you complete all of X you get a grand prize. To some extent we have all been conditioned to this mindset. Disappointment falls on the spectrum of experience. If we’ve all experienced X but get Y for something similar to our experience we are disappointed. How many times have we heard that this or that game does this or that and why can’t scopely. The player base is is disappointed because scopely seems to not adhere to established industry practice when it comes to rewards or sourcing. In this case both sides have a role to play; scopely for not meeting expectations set by experience in other games and the player base for expecting anything. That’s my 2 cents…

I've seen a lot of these ideas floating around. And while I also posted some of these when I first started, as a player for now 2 years let me help you out. 1) all those crap blueprints? You WANT them. build and tier those ships the scrap them. Some good (and sometimes surprising) rewards from those ships. I depend on them to reduce the money I spend on this game. 2) If you have a several of your docks sitting pretty with ships at base, you aren't getting the most out of the game. I have a minimum of 2 miners, and 1 warship out at all times with the other 2 reserved for fast opportunities or quick KOS kills. 3) the shortage of nodes is intentional to increase PVP. Which I love though I don't enjoy hitting miners (cause BORING). it does lead to rage responses that escalate to actual PVP. Which is nice. 4) I sort of agree with the number of ships we have being pointless relative to the number of ships we actually use and more importantly have access to. The entire hanger system is completely BORKED. Scopely needs to provide access to our ships without it taking up a dock to do it. Especially since we have the build/scrap buildings. I would love to see them change the layout by moving the bookmark/system search button to the alliance button (to clear up space for my fat fingers) and add a button beside the golden exclamation point that gives you access to all your ships (not in dock) so that you can better manage your build/scrap/upgrade process. I honestly think this change would actually drive revenue up for them. Which is really all they care about.

With how officer sourcing works, officers are always first priority in an event store. IF there is currency leftover, then other things might have priority, but dvor parts are never as economical as other parts/mats/options...

Owning a maxed a disco at 40+ is essential and getting it sooner is more game-changing than all but a handful of officers.

It's almost as though you were deliberately trying to trick us into accidentally joining the wrong event. Would it kill you to always list them in a fixed order? After making sure everything was backed up to the cloud, and I was signed in with my ScopelyId, I uninstalled and then reinstalled the game. It was so much better and I haven’t had too many issues since; just the glitches come back on and off. A friend has done that right after a monthly maintenance, and it works for them.

Also, anyone else do a large faction recruit spend and figure that epic shards payout was below half the median payout?

I don't know what happened between the night of 2/26th and the morning of the 2/27th, but my game has become incredibly unstable. I leave the station, game crashes. I attack a hostile, game crashes. I swap ships, game crashes. I swap crews, game crashes. I zoom in/out, game crashes. I swipe the screen, game crashes. Anything I do can cause the game to crash. But, it is not a consistent thing. It is not everytime I do one of those actions. Instead, it will crash sometime multiple times within 5 minutes. Sometimes, it will not crash for 30 minutes or more.

I have already tried (multiple times) clearing the localization, as well as uninstalling/reinstalling the game (and a clear localization afterward).  Still having the game crash randomly with no apparent reason.

If it's android, some players have found success uninstalling/reinstalling Android System WebView from the Google Play store. Others had to do the same with the dev version of that.

That's been the problem for many Android users. They update to Android 12 and the game becomes unplayable. Some of the fixes don't work for everyone. I don't use an Android, so I have no idea when a fix will be released.

I've deleted and reinstalled the game on my iPhone 7 and had very few issues since. I had to switch to an iPhone SE 2nd edition 64GB version. No major issues as well. A friend has uninstalled the game once the update is posted in the Apple App Store; after the maintenance is completed. He hasn't had too many major issues since. I'm going to try that as well. I also put up a 3 day shield in case I can't get back into the game after a maintenance.

I have Samsung S10 512GB, Android 11 and I have frequent crashes when swapping ships etc. 2 to 3 times a day, sometimes freezing opening chests. Plenty of memory and storage available.. p.s. Instagram causes more frequent crashes in STFC in my experience hence why I don't leave it running.

I do wonder if it is to do with the new dry dock (which like most I haven't purchased). Never used to have the crash problems before the update though.

Many players are having problems after upgrading to Android 12. Recommended fixes are not helping that much (I don’t recall what they are). I haven’t seen whether or not Android has a fix for the problem yet. If you can get into the pc version, you may want to play that way for a while. However, there are some things you need to do first.

I spent 260k rom and 210 Klingon recruit tokens. Just take the rom - 20% chance of epic. 5 chances per chest, so would be pretty reasonable to figure a median of 1 per chests. Bought 516 rom chests. Not expecting 516 Nero shards, but figure maybe 430-450 low end. Got approximately 300 Nero shards. 11.628% epic rate versus the 20%.

Also find it funny that my ability to contact support in game is gone 3 days after voicing the low officer payout here on discord (after it being dismissed along with 17 missing Quark Shards), despite not doing things that would likely get a ban, such as name calling, derogatory comments, curse words, things that would violate a user agreement and such.

Scopely, couple notes id like to offer:

1. Trait sorting is fantastic. More ui features like that.

2. green indicators ship cargo for exceeding pc and green "!" for full cargo are nice touches. Id love to see similar features for mining ships on their dock icon (I.e. The blue bubble background turns green when you exceed pc)

3. truncating current (max) cargo to one significant figure is bad. Make it two or three minimum for all values

4. system views now seem to take a long time to load hostiles, nodes and players.

There's only only basic action in the game. Tap ship at point A, make ship go to point B. Sometimes point B is static (mine) and sometimes it's moving (hostile). It's not surprising it feels stale - there's only so many ways you can dress up the same mechanic.

But I think the more serious problem is the pricing structure. They need to lower and diversify the prices of the packs so more lower tier players would start making smaller transactions. Relying on whales is not a sustainable business model.

Despite the ups and downs I still play daily and mostly enjoy the game. It's been a huge part of my life over the last three years and I've made lots of friends. I just wish they'd fix big things and not tinker around the edges. Stopping me using ST emoji in a ST game? Bizarre, annoying, unnecessary. Why not fix the ship module upgrade material miscalculation bug which the last (or so) release notes said had been fixed, yet it's still there any infuriating as ever? Prioritise that please - not taking my emoji away!

I'm just going to say this, but the level raiding penalty is being stupid. It punishes lower level players who try to raid up. When I was a lower level player, I looked for big targets. I'm a day 1 player, and remember when raiding was much harder, and you had to repair after every hit, because the guns instant repaired and would fire.

At ops 28, I cracked a 38 that was in the top 10 on my server. It sucked, because I couldn't get anything, because my miners couldn't survive his guns - but knowing that if it happened now, I'd be penalized for the work just sucks. Oh, and the real kicker - I did it on 11/12/19, the day before the guns stopped shooting after being broken.

Anyway, the real point of this is that this punishes people that legitimately raid up. It's a horrible concept and punishes free to play players.

Yeah - the Lag has increased 10fold with the update. 'Normal' space and hostile killing (with less than 10 players in the system) is now worse than Territory Capture with a full system.

Yeah, it's about 2 seconds delay now on loading objects in system view. And about 1 second after launching an attack. Sometimes it seems to get stuck on "scanning" when entering system view.
