• You introduced one useless currency after another (e.g., Riker or Picard Tokens). We as community asked for one new currency (Phantom tokens) to increase the value of the 7-day chest. Instead of listening to you community you added more and more “waste” currencies which are useless after the events.  Why not do a cleanup and remove all not used currencies from the game.

• The officers you added in the last arcs are not balanced and not recruitable. E.g., Why is Lorca not part of the Discovery recruit special? How to recruit Jaylah? What is about TOS officers? Some time ago you asked us for new officers which should be added to the transporter patterns. If I correctly remember most of your community asked for officers like Harrison, 5of10, … but all of them are not added. Why you asked the community if you do not want to listen.

• Same as officers: You introduced skins but there is no way to get them. How to get the TOS-D7 skin for the D4 ?

• Features nobody asked for. I do not know if there are many fans of the Exocmop Consumables. I am not. Just another features which does not match to the overall game. What is about the features the community asked for? E.g., save crews, change the generators? …. Maybe her a small idea which you could implement without much effort: Replace the Warehouse by a second vault (you not even have to change the icon 😉). The warehouses are useless. Even in the early power level 30 the building upgrades cost more steal than you can store in your warehouse. With a second vault you would have more protected material and the generators would work independent of the amount of material you have, which would be a nice bonus for active players. BTW: you can even sell a package for a prime search: Auto collection for generators.  Small development effort huge benefit for the community.

• What about the time saving you promised earlier this year? Many players I know (include me) start playing the game when the Covid pandemic started. But now more and more normalization starts and we will have less time to play the game. Therefore the community asked for time improvement and you added some nice improvement (e.g. reduce the Franklin grind). But somehow you stop. E.g. you added a new skin for the ViDar to reduce the Borg prob grind. Unfortunately there is no way to get the skin. It would be nearly no effort for you to make a small event for such a skin (or add the skin / skin parts as a reward to existing events).

I really like this game. Please listen to your community and try to improve it. At the moment I have the feeling it getting worse and worse with each patch.

Well said, but will fall on deaf ears. Scopy only cares about money, (I mean who in their right mind thinks 400$ USD, is a reasonable price for a T1 Lorca?! ). These are pixels we are RENTING! We do not own any of this. Scopy is charging rent folks, and the whales just keep pushing the bar higher and higher. Eventually they are going to kill the game this way, and all that money will be pissed away. I have seen it happen before…

They will create another game very similar and e same whales will jump all over the “new” thing. The consumables are worthless junk. They are only useful if they work on the total enhanced rates and power etc. Working off of base, they aren't even worth clicking on.

I haven’t purchased anything in 2 months.. it’s funny how the cheap packs are now available again.. unfortunately not cheap enough for me to want to purchase ever again. The BP elite unlock was the last one I purchased ... definitely wasn’t worth it, and I can see that this one isn’t worth it either. With them constantly lowering what you get as rewards and putting in these “new awesome” items as rewards like the isogen or these consumable add ons... yuh.. don’t think I’ll ever buy another pack. Barely worth doing the BP event at all.

Re: exocomps, it's so disappointing how my 30% mining boost turns into 4% in reality. Sometimes you should let these bonuses stack/multiply. It is not going to break the game for me to mine 39K/hr versus 30K/hr, but it will make me feel more like exocomps are worth the trouble. Letting me feel op for a few hours a week would go a long way towards better game satisfaction.

that's because you've roughtly +200% officerstats as bonus on top of your normal officer stats. the display doesn't take that into consideration, but when it comes to the assignmentstats this gets recognised.

I have seen several Away Missions where Lat is to be given as bonus rewards. I am being given instead ship XP points. Is the alternate reward normal when lat was not won or was the Lat suppose to be given?

The mining exocomp is a joke. For latinum mining, my base rate on a node is around 486k/hr. While the 30% mining exocomp was running, it was 488k. Ore mining was similar, where it was 13,xxx either way.

The exocomp works on base mining rate. Before any research, crew, etc... So for the D'vor it's a small increase, given the huge bonuses from the D'vor research.

This is basically what I figured (I think I had a similar realization with Riker's "100%" buffs). It's just incredibly misleading, especially when such a big deal is made about it.

It is great that we can complete our daily targets by doing many things. But not some targets are not so easy to fulfill. -> Killing lvl 39 fraction enemies.
Unfortunately there are not enough lvl 39 fraction enemies (non veterans) available. Please increase the number of targets to reduce the time we need to fulfill our dailies.

Server 31 is still down. Lag on the server has been an issue for months. Game will often fail to load properly (locks up), going into assorted menus (events, refinery, daily missions) causes freezes. Apparently you guys think that we all play the game 37 hours a day, 9 days a week and have an infinite money tree at our disposal.

Feedback: Stop and think before releasing an Arc. Better to have 2 weeks no Arc where you can properly design an Arc and make the next Arc run for like 6 weeks, than rushing TNG Arcs back to back. Some were decent, and some like this one, too much failures. It is not acceptable for a game, i hope you do not want to end up like CD Projekt RED. The event schedule provided at arcLaunch get altered, without an ingame Newspopup so only a few will notice (but hey, promote the new website...), various events are boring and low on reward (see comments on discord by everyone), but high on playing time. Various server crashes, lagissues, new bugs (like the [] alliance tag not showing). It's not good, really not good. Grade E at max, and that's cause the Exocomps actually work, otherwise it would be a big F.

How does that work in a multiplayer situation, without instancing?

Every level-scaling system I've seen is either a single-player (or small-coop) game, or done as a separate instance for a small group of players, not a free-to-access zone/system

PvP Improvement
PvP is in a very sad state of affairs, it basically consists out of robbing offline players! It should get a new name Thief versus Offliner.
Now a bit more constructive, did you ever watch Star Trek? There are battles where ships attack a single ship, where fleets fight against other fleets, where factions fight for territories and take them over.
-> We need mechanics to allow a team to fight together against a ship, not this linear one on one, but all against one, than people can fight back against those stronger players and not just be sheep to farm.
-> We need to be able to take over and fight for systems, those systems could offer some benefits, but mainly being a meaningful PvP objective where alliances fight each other anytime not on a weekly schedule. To take a system needs to take time so that others can fight back / interfere several hours imho and most importantly the owning alliance needs to be informed of tress passers and attackers.
-> Alliances should be informed when a members station is under attack.
-> if low level players attack other low level players they should be attackable by that alliance and if only for a short period of time, it makes no sense that a player can kill all the little ships while a stronger ship can not help.

Just some ideas to make PvP a viable experience and bring it away from “hustling offline players”

Mining and Refining

This is in no way a meaningful and rewarding part of the game. As it stands effort put into mining does not reflect into a better ‘ higher reward for the player. E.g. I need in excess of 5k uncommen crystal at the moment. So I went and mined millions of raw crystal and refined in 75k batches. The result of a weeks work with 2 refines a day were 114 uc crystal at this rate I would be able to upgrade in 50 weeks. I also got much more crystal from events and missions than mining, that should not be the case.

Refining is broken and pretty meaningless towards progress!

I do like it that you have to put effort in to achieve something, but effort should also be reward and not be coming down to luck with RNG just imho.

They work on the base value. So the more research, buildings, officer buffs, etc .. you have, the less impact the exocomp will have. They're awful, basically. And people have been complaining about them since they were first introduced.

Some day ago I complained about the missing possibility to get ship skins. So thank you for putting the some skins into the shop.
I am just not happy about the price. To get a skin for the Augur, I have to spent 4x50€ ?
Maybe I as a small Player (just buying the BP and one or two packages per month) are not so important for you, but for me it is frustrating that there is no way to get such skins. No way to get the skin by playing the game and in the shop they are totally overpriced.
Please add the skins to events or /and put them for a fair price to the shop (e.g. the 20€ for the Meridian skin was fair). And please have a look on your price strategy.

Battlepass and Daily Rewards

It is hard to believe how much you are charging players for this and what value we get in return. For Battlepass you charge between 20 -100 bugs, others charge 10 -20 and the value for the 100 bug option is mediocre.

Every other game I played gives players daily rewards for free to appreciate their custom, you are charging 50 - 100 bugs for again mediocre rewards the sum of it is not enough to build a single building upgrade nor upgrade your ship for one tier. That is disrespecting your players and customers.

It would be nice if you reflect on your business practices and start to treat us as valued customers instead of cash cows to be taken for a ride!

Progress is easier on newer servers as the game has evolved since those on older servers were at comparable levels. Rewards are better now etc. That’s the logic behind it I believe. At the same age, older servers would have been getting far less than newer servers do now.

This is a shady business practice. There's no explanation that will make this work. In the real world if someone tries to charge us double or we are getting a better deal somewhere else we can change the place we shop to get the better deal. We can't change servers past level 12. So we get to see this deal somewhere else and we can't get it. We have several 40+ players that are legit thinking of quitting the game because of this. Seems like an easy thing for Scopely to fix by just rolling the changes out across ALL the servers instead of just a few.

You increase the price of the biggest packs by 10%. Smart move, this will definitely raise your income by 10% per pack. Too bad you lose even more people buying them probably a lot more then you're 10% increase. And for Everyone you loose its a 100% loss. So you need 10 packs to be sold to compensate for every loss. I doubt that will pay off at all. Decrease all prices by 20-30% would give you a boost. But you greedy bunch just don't get those simple mechanics

Basically if there is a conflict between the merged servers for a base location
(1) you get moved to another spot on the planet
(2) you get moved to another planet in system
(3) you get moved to lvl 1 system

Even though it didn’t say anything in the merge faq about it being randomized it very clearly considers one server the original and the other the addition. Any base on the original gets to hold their spot. The other server gets booted from their location.

As evidenced by the systems with the prime real estate (pjem/morska/rator) 100% being populated by the OTHER server in the merge that just happened.

Yes it is, Because your sally has a 60 warp range it can go through that gap,
Is it a realta? Or is that a turas? It doesn’t have the warp range to head across that specific piece of the path, so has to go round the long way. That little path your trying to get across used to be the only path into the lower half of the system before they added the side entrances. And you couldn’t get a Botany Bay across there without being a higher warp as you levelled it up

No your not getting it, its ONLY that particular short path that has the warp range for it. because when the Augment first came out there were no side entrance paths, so that single warp path was the lock until people grew their botany bays high enough, once through that gate the other paths are lower.

Well what can we say.. TNG the most beloved series in the franchise the series I guess most of the player base grew up watching has been woefully brought in to your game. You completely either do not understand the passion and love Trekkies have or just do not have a clue what your player base would expect. We have had 5 arcs.. your way I assume of making TNG more important, however 2 of the 4 previous arcs and this current arc are utter garbage. When you think of TNG the first thought is what.. The Enterprise D.. For most of us, whilst the show is about the characters the starship is a major element. The lack of the Ent D is most probably the single biggest failure you have had with this game, although there have been many failures. We during this arc have had far too many Epic officers.. Troi, Geordi, Data should all be rare officers.. Oh and now 3of10 let's not forget to copy and paste a rare officer and make them epic..! Whomever was part of the round table on TNG has completely missed the mark. How about Q as an officer rather than trying to shoe horn another Borg officer in especially when the economy on upgrading Borg officers is daft as a bag of frogs. So one thing the player base really wanted was more currencies.. Hopefully you can understand sarcasm, we have been moaning long enough about having too many currencies and you go and introduce more. After the work you guys put in to acquiring the rights to use anything from the ST franchise you have let us as a player base down and I would like to think with what I am sure is lots of negative reactions let yourselves down also. The creative team need to take a long hard look at themselves and actually get some proper subject matter experts on board so as to not repeat this abomination with any of the future series brought in. The new station/armada focus for tapping heavily favors base raiders and makes it near impossible to defend an ally station from being raided. In transit cargo ships are even hard to pick if they travel near another station. Perhaps this will help the whale economy, and they will not buy as many packs for RSS since raiding is now way easier?

A bit of feedback from me - I think it's pretty poor that 2 of 10 and/or mining recruit tokens don't make the event store.

Yes, he came out in the arc before TNG Part 1, and yes, there is the "special mining recruit" option for him now but, in the six months since he's been released, I have obtained 14 of the 40 shards needed to unlock him. And that is with buying, and fully completing, the battlepasses for both the arc he was released in, and the last arc where mining recruit tokens were released, I also completed all SMS / placed decently in all SLBs during those arcs where rewards were relevant. So that's £/E/$40 spent already and while, potentially, I just got utterly shambolic luck on the recruit tokens, it's looking more likely that I will either have to pay that same amount of money again to unlock one rare officer (who is fairly important) or wait months / years on recruit tokens, assuming they continue to be dropped every arc.

I started doing eclipse hostiles with Kumari as well, use Pike, T'Laan, Moreau and you should be able to take them. Even with Kirk, Spock, Uhura you should be able to take a few down

Mining / Refining
should be the main source of uncommen materials the drop rates are laughable and at that ratio it would take years to obtain the materials needed to upgrade a single ship. The effort / reward is completely off balance and of course people can sped thousands of dollars to obtain materials needed.

Offer some rewards for events. Giving us mediocre event currency and than charging us an arm and a leg to buy that currency to be able to obtain things might be good for your bank balance but is poor game design and very disrespectful towards your players.

Progression
It is good that the game requires some effort, but somewhere you went completely off balance and forgot to bring the rewards in line with the effort. A player has absolutely no chance to stay competitive by playing the game and spend 10-20 bugs a month in game.

It is clear to me that you only care about cashing in on your player base as fast as you can and don’t care about the gaming experience. You have demonstrated that with every action you have done over the last 2.5 month I play. You also don’t even care employ a community manager to engage with your player, but I guess as long as it goes kashing… and the bank balance grows you are fine….

The game is truly pay to play because it can take a year or more to get an epic ship or officer if you don’t pay for it. Shards for Officers like Harrison can only be obtained at a cost. There are rarely events for Harrison.

Last arc: I will make it short. It was not a good arc !
• The new content Exocomp are useless. They are useless because the buff is too low and buggy (e.g. activation period of the galaxy exocomps). I understand that the buff for combat exocomps is limited, but why for the galaxy and station exocomps ? All the improvements (e.g. 50% buff) were added to the base values. But due to research we already have a lot of buffs on our ships and station. If you now activate a 50% mining buff, you do not see a huge improvement in the mining rate. It is ridiculous low. It’s not worth the effort. -> Improve the buff for station and galaxy exocomps and fix the buff.
• The mini Borg arc was a joke. It was great that you offer an event store, but there were no event to earn credits for this store. Next time improve the (event store credits) rewards of the single events to allow us to buy something in the event store
• The new PC client is great. Please continue to improve it. E.g. include the mod (or the features of the mod) from Ripper in your client. See: #863086312957149226 message

General feedback:
• Thanks that we have an event store. I am happy to find some ship skins in the store and already know where to store my event store credits. You should run an event store more often !

Regarding the Arc (sorry mainly negative feedback).
• For this whole arc I have the feeling you had a big delay in development teams. It is not the big brilliant final arc of the TNG storyline. It sounds like a joke.
• New missions: I just completed the first five missions. Unfortunately I have to say the story is bad. Enterprise-D storyline: Beach or Camping holiday. Really !!!
• Why do you have to be lvl 35 to do this missions ? Let’s imagine there is a lvl 33 player, who is motivated and want to grow and play this game. He/she looks now on this arc and see only useless content (see my comments below) and a few missions which he/she could not play. Scoply, this is a slap in the face of all small players in this game.
• Away team traits and improvements: The improvement are really good and the trails are a nice addition to the away teams. But did you ever test it ??
Here are two screenshots which shows the problems:

I have officers on ships (outside of the dock) and in other away teams, which I could not assign to new away mission. Add a filter to overview that allows me to search only for available officers. In my screenshot I look for all available officers ordered by defense strength.

Now I also have to look for the traits. Which mean the traits needs to match to the current away team and I have to ensure that I do not assign an officer, whit another active traits, to this mission. Maybe I need this officer, or better his/her traits, in another away mission. But If I click on the details, traits are not listed. I have to click on the “Verbessern” (I think in English Upgrade) button. Unfortunately a click on this button opens a new window which reset the officer selection for the current away team. It usability is really bad and annoying.

• You added a new currency (away team credits) and a new shop to spent this credits. First thought: why not nice. Unfortunately you see the drawbacks soon:
o You can bug fraction reputation (like in the borg store), or ship BP (like in the fraction store). Why do we need this new shop ? Which value does it add to the game ? If you want to keep the shop, it should contain stuff you cannot buy in another shop, like ship skins, avatars and frames from old arcs, or some special officers.
o We can earn ca. 200 – 300 credits in away missions per day. This does not match the shop price level. Example: 50k federation reputation cost 4k credits. -> I get 200 per day -> 20 days until I can buy this item. That is really expansive for 50k reputation…
• The new officer 3 of 10 looks nice. I am looking forward get the officer. Please add in coming arcs also borg officers for Crystal and Ore mining.
• Talking about the big elephant: Where is the Enterprise-D ??? Could it be that there were huge delays in your development teams and the stuff is just not ready ? You have a nice community, but we want to be informed. We were waiting for this ship and you told us this would be the last TNG arc. At least I am really disappoint from this arc. Your expectation management was crap ! Did you thought about something like a Trello board or similar tools to share a kind of roadmap with the community ?
• Here on discord we asked for one small improvement again and again. And this improvement is still not part of the game: Where are the Phantom tokens ? They are available on the new servers so it cannot be so complex to enable this currency also on the old server. Why you did not do it ? instead of getting the feature we asked for we get another totally useless currency “away team credits”. Really disappointing.

Sorry that the feedback is negative, but this arc, the final arc of the TNG storyline, is just a joke.

I totally agree with pretty much everything about the new away missions store the credits vs value vs reward is way off. As I mentioned in my post before just using the Rouge rep as an example as you did the faction rep. One chest is as you said 20 days worth of away mission credits and for the ship bps you are talking a month worth. When you can get enough faction credits to buy a single bp for a lvl 34 ship everyday you can only get maybe 1 a month from this away mission store. You can almost earn anything in this store in way more quantity and faster the regular ways then what you would get from this store. What I am saying is between armada chests, faction credits, etc you could easily earn all the bps for a Enterprise before you'd get 2 or 3 bps from this away missions store. And if you already own everything in this store.The store is pointless and just another useless mechanic still we get to like the 41/42 ships which same thing I could earn the bps from other means well before I could get any amount from this away store. Plus as pointed out already the Rouge/Faction rep is way to low and needs at least 2 zeros added to the amount per chest.

See the white points on some of the Officiers? This officers have the trait. you can activat it about the new xp's for away team. If it is activated you got a blue point insteadt of the white point, which higher the krit chance

Does anyone read the dialog on the missions? Probably very few. They don't give you any useful info to complete the mission. And all the missions are so formulaic.. Go to a system and meet X, "do" something at a random spot in that system, kill gold hostile, return to station, go to a different system, donate mats or rss...

It's just a bit confusing as the main 3 factions work in the opposite way. Ie you have to become hostile to them before they will attack, but with Augments you get friendly and get attacked. The game should differentiate between the two systems. Perhaps by naming the system some other than Augment space.

So uhm, Traits;

With those 1150 from the dailies, it takes:
~1 week to get all 3 levels on T1 (green/blue/pink officers)
~1 month to get all 4 levels on T2 (blue and pink officers)
~34 weeks to get all 9 levels on T3 (pink officers only)

Unless Scopely either gonna make some heavy tweaks with it, or expects us to be playing this game consequently daily for the next 20 years ofc, to me it seems just a tiny bit bonkers with all the officers there are ingame…😏

Well the main point is to start small, and work on the officers for one or 2 of your ATAs that you’d prefer to get better crit rewards.
Also there is an ATA that will give Trait XP as a main reward, some have seen it multiple times, some haven’t seen it yet. And also we have had 1 event so far give some, so likely we will get a few more.

But it’s a start, see how things start off, and as with a lot of other things in game the ways currency drop increase over time.

The away teams “traits” as a feature, has been completely shit so far. I completed all my assignments and had a new list. Easily 8 out of 10 of the critical traits, none of my officers had at all. most of the ones available are on critical mining officers I can’t loose for 3 days. 1 requires I complete 2 other traits first, which I won’t earn for weeks

There is a real problem with the game losing the ability to communicate with the server, no matter the game platform. I do not know if it loses sync after a period of time or it has a memory leak causing the game to lose functionality. Whichever it is, making us close and restart the game every 15-20 minutes is not a real solution. Until you can figure out how to actually fix the problem, a button to manually do it would be nice.

I am sure it would be much faster than closing and restarting the game. It is most burdensome when you find out your game is no longer functioning after enting a hostile syste, and by the time you get the game back up you are being killed by whatever faction.

Scopely, IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT'S MERCIFUL please either fix the automatic proximity targeting misfeature introduced as a "fix" in the last update so that it applies only to mission targets, or give us a preference setting to just turn it off. This is the FOURTH time I almost hit a friendly base because the game autotargeted the base instead of the hostile I was aiming for, and it's made it much more difficult to check actual armada strength to work around the well known and still unfixed armada strength calculation bug.

In order to "fix" a problem that most players might encounter a few times a month, you've broken things players do a dozen times a day.

The "solution" is worse then the problem.

If your server is targeted for a merge prepare yourself to hate the game. Everything in this very slow game gets worse. Hunting hostiles, mining, completing and competing in events. You will likely end up with rogues upset by scopely merge decision that just go around killing miners or PMC crew all the time. It’s truly awful.

It’s my considered opinion that the exocomps are entirely worthless. Or, at least, the juice your get from them is not worth the squeeze it takes to get them. I’ve tried a variety of them, some several times, and the effects are always either underwhelming, or entirely undetectable.

That’s unfortunately how it goes for a long time, the range of levels that can attack you only gets bigger at and above level 20. If you’re in a good alliance get your leadership to talk to the leadership in that player’s alliance.

So it took me 25 ultra chests to get my last 5/10 shard for t2. I was getting a shard every 1-2 chests prior to getting the last shard. I escalated this to a ticket asking for just 1 shard and scopely denied giving me a single shard even though clearly they designed the algorithm to mislead people. The odds of not getting a shard in 24 chests is impossible unless they reduced the odds of a 5/10 shard dramatically the closer you get to a level breakpoint. This of course would be wrong since the odds of getting any particular epic should be the same. In general with 15 epics and approximately 5-6 epics a roll you should have about a 40% chance each time. So please tell me how i was able to flip a quarter 24 times and have it come up heads 24 consecutive times?

I would like someone from scopely to contact me directly about some form of compensation for this

Windows / PC market is just better positioned, and has been for a long time. If Apple weren't so set on "It must be ours", they'd have solved the gaming compatibility years ago...

WINE is also supported on Mac, I've used it to play Windows games for many years now. Steam's usage of WINE has really catapulted performance of it

It basically maps underlying Windows calls to equivalent calls on your OS

OS X is based on Darwin, so I expect there isn't too much difference between the Mac and Linux compatibility layers, but it's been many years since I've taken a look at deeper system stuff

WINE used to have a lot more bugs in it, both on Linux and OS X

Definitely wasn't suitable for modern games until very recently

OpenGL on Mac is deprecated and Vulkan won't be implemented.
Future seems to be using a Vulkan to Metal translation layer that is not developed by apple and use Vulkan for the rest.
So no, cross platform is not really a thing anymore, at least no officially supported scenario anymore.
So if anything, it's because of Apple's continued Anti-Consuner behavior where they want to force everyone to use their proprietary junk.

Can you share a screenshot of your inventory? I am not sure that customer support can even remove inventory items using their tools but I can check with engineers and see if we can get something like that on road-map. I agree that inventory sizes do get extremely large, especially if you have been with us from the start.

The Borg rewards are, let’s be honest, just an example of anyone playing this for over a year of the immense number of useless currencies left in inventory. I could take plenty more ss of junk items all over the place in my inventory. These just are the most egregious as they are lumped together.

An archive button would at least let us manage this junk. A delete option would be inScopelys pocketbook interest. At least they could add a warning ⚠️ when you click delete the items may be needed later. Great opportunity for them to bring that back later and then they have mire chance of people buying a pack. Hear that Scopely? MONEY MAKING OPPORTUNITY! That’ll help get them working on it. 😉
