You have probably hit 2,000 hostiles since the limit reset. You won't be able to get loot/xp/rep from hostiles until that limit resets later today at 5am UTC, 1 hour after daily reset. Event scoring is unaffected.

@raw fiber may we please have a massive overhaul of 6* unc cargo hold. It takes 2 kills to max out cargo. 9 minutes to fly to a 65 system just to hit 2 ships and have full cargo is ....wow, not realistically thought out. Less than 100k cargo is not acceptable.

Can we also get broken niner ship parts add to the mirror miners. Have them drop broken ship parts for all (with miners being a little more, like 750 each of the battle triangle and 1000 for the miners)

I really wish I could claim my 24 bonus chest for having pc version regardless of what device I’m playing on. It doesn’t even let me claim it through the webstore. It’s like an inconsiderate thing saying no you can’t claim your bonus 24 chest unless you get on your pc. What if my pc quit or is in the shop? I don't like the scaling in solo wave at all. I kill lv 50 with almost no damage and no support. When I attack lv 51, I can't even scratch them because 88% of attacks won't damage them. I have shreds at lv 3 and it doesn't look like it would be of any use at lv 51. At lv 50, the apex coverage and hull damage are similar, but at lv 51, the apex cuts out 5M damage to 4M, that's not 75% according to the shred info, I don't have to be Einstein to recognize 75% and 25%. If it was like the shreds description says, I would kill them, but not like that.

Is Apex Shred working correctly? I bought the first two tiers of all the shreds (50%) from Section 31... still couldn't get past wave 4, 340 mil Vorcha getting it's butt kicked. So I bought the 3rd tiers of Fierce and Traceless (75%) and tried again. It brought the numbers for mitigates down, but by less than 5%... 7.265M standard + 6.116M Iso, Apex barrier mitigation of 6.018M. (50% shred). 7.239M Standard, 6.096M Iso, Apex barrier mitigation of 5.843M. (75% shred). That's just over 4% reduction in apex barrier mitigation... at this rate, if I max the apex shred at 150%, it'll only reduce the mitigation by 8%???

I also liked testing out crews that work/don’t work and having to think of new stuff.

I’m not a fan of the big waves being available at 60, it should be a g6 thing.

Funny enough, I have less connectivity issues in solo waves compared to normal waves. (1 total crash vs. 5 per 10 round wave)

I love the new solo waves. But what I don't like is there is no incentive to do the 60s other than to test how well you're doing and that doesn't need to be very often. I can go in and do all 5 waves of the 50 and get more credits than trying to do 3 of 60. Honestly the balance should have been maybe equal solo credits but less MU and S31 credits for wave 3 of the 60. then if you can get past wave 3, wave 4 pays more solo than the 50s do. But you still take a loss in S31 and MU, which makes sense, the solos are new currency, we have ways to get the old, there is no reason for solos to feel like they're replacing them(granted I do love that idea, the old waves take too long). Then wave 5 of the 60 can pay out like it does already. If people feel the extra wave needs to pay out more, well make wave 5 pay less or the same as the 50s on s31 and MU, after all again this is Solo wave, we have the old waves we can still do

From what I seen yesterday arena is still pretty much a failure. I seen no alliance squads and 6 public squads all lacking members in them. Don’t know if the match making has improved or not. Just not interested in it. Probably due to the fact not really interested in PvP since PvP in todays time is all about who can spend the most and nothing about skill like it used to be when people went to arcades and played on couch with friends all before the whole internet gaming was born. As for minining in there or armadas why bother when you know someone going to hit you as easy prey. So my book it’s a failed concept played games with far better concept in that regards.

AT Request: everyone else has the more-than-24-hrs-notice thing covered, so here's a feature request.

I'd like to see the task board totally revamped. Instead of rerolling and praying, and dealing with the MOUNTAIN of technical issues this causes across each alliance, let us pick any task we want from the pool, and once a task is completed it goes on an alliance-wide cooldown (something like 10m to 4 hours, depending on the tier). This would let people of all levels contribute at their own speed, encourage coordination between alliance members, and remove what is probably the most-hated aspect of the event.

For bonus points, no cooldown on tasks that don't provide tourney store credits.

This ties into the whole "everyone hates the task board" issue, but allowing people to freeze tasks could also be problematic. What happens if someone freezes a task and walks away from their game for a few hours? Or if a whole tier of tasks gets frozen at the same time? Coordination is already a big problem, especially with the staggered/laggy updates to the board across the entire alliance.

My wife and I play together in the same alliance, and we'll watch each other's games to see how well the board syncs up when one of us rerolls or accepts a task... it isn't encouraging 🤦‍♂️🙄

Edit: My alliance tends to post in AC or Discord to request certain tasks. We've gotten pretty good about announcing when a high value task comes up, or pinging a teammate when their requested task appears.

I get it. We're all human, but there seems to be a repeating pattern of ineptitude. This isn't just a simple mistake here or there. It's all the time and there's no reason for it. Anyone else having trouble auto grinding in Yarda?

I just want to put one ore two of my ships out to auto grinding some XP overnight but in the last few months the hostiles just stop coming after an hour or so.

It is not the 5K limit, they are parked at the edge system like everyone else and whereas before, I could leave them there for days steadily gaining XP, they just don’t anymore.

Have I missed something? Did a patch come out? Or is it my OP’s level? Do the Hostiles in Yarda stop attacking you once you eat to a certain Ops level or something?

I only ask because it’s a problem on my OP’s 46 account but the OP’s 38 continues to auto grind without issues. Thanks for any answers.

I restart every time I accept a task and verify I have it, before doing the task. It forces a sync with the server. Without it you never know if you really got the event or someone refreshed it or got it at the same time.

The problem about apex shred is the same as for any efficiency mechanics (1/(1+x)) - it is not very intuitive.
This, combined with a couple of more not very visible numbers making it somehow impossible to tell "can i beat this enemy or not".

About making damage:

• i do not easily know what my base damage is (ah, yeah, there is "scan" and some info but still)
• i do not easily know what actual damage my ship does
• special ships damage additions
• research for special enemies
• mitigation itself is already somehow a mystery
• i do not easily know what my anti-mitigation is
• from whatever damage i do and is mitigated, the result is somehow increased and reduced by isolytic mechanics
• and then there is apex...
• how does states, crew, etc. apply into this?
• the total formula for hull dmg is what? probably wrong and incomplete: ((((base*something)-mitigation)*0.8+isodmg)*isocascade)-(barrier/1+shred) maybe if its not an sarko during TT on a node

Tasks in Alliance Tournaments need improvement. 750pts for tasks is unreasonable, just like the FKR Armadas and ExBorg tasks are too common.There are other opportunities for tasks which seem to be overlooked as well. The initial Ex-Borg rep grind is too long. Starting at ops 38, you need 90 days of dailies to get to Distinguished with Ex-Borg. You are expected to have Distinguished with Ex-Borg when you hit ops 40, because the XinDeep event changes to only score on Xindi, and to have any chance of killing Xindi you need the beam delay favor, and that favor requires Distinguished with Ex-Borg. Considering how Scopely seems to want people opsing up faster, a three month grind spread across two ops levels is much to slow. At least tripling the daily amount of Ex-Borg rep would help people feel more prepared for 40 sooner without hurting anything.

Obviously people shouldn't not ops up because they won't be able to do one weekly event. But its a pain point, and removing pain points on the transition to G4 will get people going there sooner.

If existing players are spending less than new players, not much of an incentive to bother keeping the old ones. That's just a simple check on cost vs benefits, and Scopely very much prioritizes whatever makes them money (which to a point is fair, this is a company after all).

This isn't a new situation. We've seen for years that they have no interest in actually stabilizing the game beyond bare minimum to allow people to spend. There's a reason some of us are F2P. I'm willing to get what I pay for and if I spend money I might actually expect a stable product.

Absolutely zero change in apex mitigation for wave hostiles. The description for apex shred states a 50 percent reduction in apex barrier at 100 percent apex shred. 75 percent apex shred should be noticeable in battle logs, not exactly the same.

We are a younger g6 server but our alliance isnt a whale alliance, so some of our players still need them, but having that requirement there, you're right, makes no sense. It's saying 'oh you've unlocked the privelage, but now you have to be Master League for 3 months at least to use it. Not very well thought out, but as I've stated before in this chat, some of the decision makers at STFC are from TEMU. It's also the reason I'm thankful for Simpauly @tidal notch because as actually bad and out of touch the decision making can be, those 2 keep them somewhat grounded. Sorry, but this is not okay. STFC is a daily mess at best, so people should be able to

Do you remember when Scopely pretended to be concerned about QoL and how much time it took to play the game in all its facets? What happened to that? There have been at least 4 new ships since then, each with a distinct loop plus arena plus alliance event… my suggestion is the game is becoming unplayable due to this. Personally I’ve cut back a lot because the stress of FOMO was becoming so great it was genuinely starting to affect my mental health. So I have two suggestions: (1) make all these loops have one universal currency and a shared store; (2) make it so the faction choice affects which of the new features applies (e.g. choosing romulan gives you a path to the relativity, choosing feds gives you a path to the revenant). I do like the game and I’ve been playing since a few months after launch, but I’m playing less than ever because it’s too much to keep up with everything.

QoL means scopley get 3 days off per week, noone works for a month over xmas and summer break. all expenses paid. if you never noticed, they stop work friday noon, and dont start until monday afternoon.

If you click into a maxed out Botany Bay Independent Archive and click the claim button in the lower left any pulled officers that you are maxed out on shards will be converted into Officer XP and Transporter Patterns as normal.

However if you do not open a maxed out Botany Bay Independent Archive and instead click the "Claim All" button at the top you will be given the shards for the maxed out officers, which the cap will turn to 0 shards for each, and you will get no Officer XP or Transporter Patterns.

Being that the Augment Store Chests were the easiest way to get Transporter Patterns and that the Independent Archives clears out the options from the stores to put into a daily claim, the functionality of the Claim All button being broken from the launch of the Independent Archives and remaining broken to this day continues to be an annoyance as a Quality Of Life feature for the archive pretty much doesn't exist as it will not give you the full rewards from the claim if you use it.

Just watched a review of today’s Q&A and I have thoughts on 2 frustration points inventory filters and event currency exchange:

• Inventory When I’m scrambling looking through inventory it gets particularly hectic & frustrating around Tournaments (ie, do I have enough X to do Y). I may be wrong, but my growing sense of how the inventory sections for Materials (Ungraded) & Other (Misc) work is things are tossed in based on an arc release v. keeping like-for-like near each other. I shouldn’t have to scroll through lines of options for different directives. Anything that requires a directive (and IMHO cipher) should be in one clump. Event currency in another. Loot in yet another still. Keep them all under Misc. - just group them together better.

  • I don’t code but if player facing filters are hard to do, I would imagine adding a single field with a BTS drop list for whoever adds new content to include that bit of info is easier than rolling out something game wide. But, as I said, I don’t code and I’m willing to be wrong.

• Event Currency Having played for over 6 years I have tokens for holidays, isolinear rods & intel briefs to find the changeling (it wasn’t Miles), to Galaxy Quest VHS tapes. They make my game look like the TARDIS wardrobe. Unless they carry over from run-to-run (Sarris, Incursions. Tournaments, etc.) they should have what the event store has: an expiration date. Once you can’t use them any more … they blow away in the 💨, never to be seen again.

  • Again not a coder but there should be a BTS method for all those forms of existing arc/event currency that can never be used to just go away.
  • Yes - it would be nice to trade in my 4.5k VHS tapes for anything, but if conversion is off the table - then just eliminate. Do a Marie Kondo for us.
  • On a go forward basis, have a field that sets an arc currency to align with the arc store. Use it or lose it, not use it or you’ll see it forever.

Stella is pretty much useless ship. Whole research is mostly to upgrade it, and once upgraded it can do more armadas that give nothing else than stuff to upgrade Stella. So there is little benefit. Even hijacked ships can't be scrapped, which is bizzare, because that would be the only reason to build them as a sourcing of mats. Meanwhile building a ship that can't be scrapped hurts yourself because uses up limit of ships that you can have. So there is no point to build them. Scrapping hijacked ships would be good reason to work Augment and Rogue reputation. I don't know why it is not so.

I give you a failing grade for both xindi armadas and krenim armadas. They both require at least 1 top player per mada section and our alliance only has 3 top players. With 70 or more other players wanting to play, you're lucky to get in. I have only been able to play both of these 2 times since they started. Make them easier so more people can play.

I understand this is annoying. But as a workaround, you can send a ship into the rift circle manually. Once in, the use rift button works. You don’t need to use the button ahead of time to get the rift to know you want to use it. As long as you are inside the circle and stationary, the rift will send you when you hit the button.

Reputation Creep needs to put in. By this I mean, if you reach a certain level in FKR, it cannot get knocked below that level if you reach it. Currently, the floor when you reach it, is respected on all FKR. However, say you are working on Federation in particular (need something from Klingon and Romulan just to make the case here, like a ship etc), then work or use some other means to get it to somewhere like commended (just say) to get said items. You go back to working on the Federation to make it go to full cap (as some people may intend to do this). Suddenly, after all your hard work, the Klingons and Romulans are back at respected! However, with bracket creep (as in some other games I know of) the reputation would stay at commended, then go up and down until you successfully make the next bracket. Then it would stay there, and the next etc until it maxes out. Still a lot of effort is needed to do it, but less effort if it keeps getting knocked to the floor every time, like a child having to learn to walk again. Hopefully, you will look at my suggestion and feedback and implement it into the game in the not too distant future and it won't be Section 31'ed.

I've made this suggestion many times. I think it's a great way for scopoly to make lots and lots of money. Material refinery payouts really need to be bumped up. I just did a max pull of the bonus refinery - 1.7M 5* gas yielded a paltry 3 epic, 5 rare, and 95 uncommon. To upgrade a single component of my Corvus i need 8000 5*unc gas. Here’s a little math: that would be 84 pulls of the bonus refinery, requiring 35 days given cooldowns! That is such a slow trickle as to be absolutely useless. Yes, we get mats from events. But the refinery should be of more value.

While the concept of alliance tournaments is enjoyable and the store beneficial, the implementation has left us - the players - exhausted.

This tournament is too soon after the last for no work being done to improve the issues with the task list, it is mildly infuriating to require restarting the game to have tasks populate correctly, or to accidentally purchase the wrong item because the store page jumps when anyone else in the alliance interacts with it - requiring us to contact support and wait 24 hours or more or potentially have a clueless rep who does nothing.

Many of us have lost the will to take part so soon after the last AT.

We want AT, but we want it to work to an acceptable standard.

I think its kinda sad that we get an event like this really. People who are casual or low spenders are pretty much out of contention, especially when Alliances kick members who isnt participating (and spending money). Looking at the "changes" its really not much worth the effort to participate, especially since this is still an extreme pay to win event. Looking at the officers, well, PvP officers are pretty much useless outside pvp and there isnt that much pvp going on apart from the arena and the rewards there are even worse than here. Getting a rank or lame title (bragging rights) because you spend most cash, that wont put food on the table or make the game more "fun". This along with pay packs that has only a limited use for a spender just shows how poorly Scopley are running this game. When halft the content in a pack for §100 is more or less completely useless for a *5/*6 player, something needs to change. Sooner or later people will stop wasting their hard earned cash on useless content, regardless on how nicely you wrap it in gold papper and red ribbons. Stop with the experiments and fix the game, quality over quantity, the joke of the millennia.

The special event for the Alliance Tournament is only for rich people, the same event levels as the Material Event that lasted for 3-4 weeks for the whole pass, so it can't be done in one day.

No, reputations only lock at 8 million. so if you concentrate on one, sure that one goes forward (and you may falsely see it go back to 8M as you are continually going forward) the others however that's the lowest point they can go too. They do not stay at their highest point. Yes, it sucks to be me, for example: I had both romulan + klingon at glorified (due to DTI faction help). However, because of working on Feds as my main reputation R+K dropped, then continue to bounce until finally it got to its lowest point which is the point you are referring too, the 8 million point. So, you may think it caps at each point, but it doesn't currently. It has the low point cap, which is 8 million. As for if has the hard cap (exalted), I am at Foot soldier, which is close to the cap. That I can say more fully when that happens. So, this has come from recent experience (and experience yet to come - as in the hard cap).

This how the game has worked like forever, just take one up to lock, then drag the other two up to the lock. And carry on. You can’t bounce between the factions without hitting the lock first. You could take two up at once, but that tends to be slower. But whatever fits how you want to play.

So some feedback...I like the new mechanic for AT. The play to win/ draw is a unique twist. Additionally, the day 1 gift was spicy, and worth the hype you put into it. The one thing that needs to be changed back immediately is the 4400 alliance tournament credits for most 10k tasks INCLUDING Epic Borg and Epic Dominion. @tidal notch this needs to be reverted back to previous AT standards immediately. Other than that, so far so good

Let me add this , you would think when one knows that some hostiles only go up to a certain lvl that one would put an alternative way to still get the maximum points for that target. Hummm do I want to waist $100 on something that’s not even going to last 2 seconds or do I want to risk that same $100 in a slot machine where I have potential to double , triple or quadruple that very same $100 and enjoy it longer? Please find a Solution for Raiding. There is pretty much no reasonable way to raid Sigma RSS.

The last 1T Rss take forever to raid. Speaking 4h+. While the 200T+ before takes under 1,5h.

Give Selkies and the 68 Miners a extra ability (or Skin) to let them raid 0.01% of Sigma RSS with each pull. Something small so you get on 1m Sigma rss maybe 1k per pull. Something so raiding Sigma RSS is possible and not completely pointless. Only give the Selkie and 68 Miners that ability so only G6 players can raid Sigma stuff which is how it works right now either way.

Or something else. But please do something about G6 Raiding. Right now Sigma RSS are pretty much invinceble to being raided if you only got 1T rss as a shield. I dont want or need a way to take all sigma rss right away. That would be too overpowered. You still have a shield you can use. When G6 came out it was possible to empty a base. Since then we got so many rss daily that its nowhere near possible to empty a base in a reasonable time to get to the sigma stuff.

My idea wouldnt be first you take sigma then you take normal rss. No! Just take a tiny amount each pull so that raiding becomes something G6 players can do to advance. Something which in a pvp game should be given.

And yes i agree raiding Ore/Crystal/Gas would be bad. A teammate suggested pulling a tiny amount of Lat. No just no. Keep it simple and how it has been since game launch. You can raid rss. But make it possible to raid Sigma RSS too.

And Skin was just an Idea to maybe make it easier to implement. Right now there are the Gold Skins for the 68s which add an Amalgam like Ability. Those you might be able to modify to add this Ability for Sigma RSS (the skin is F2P btw.). For the Selkie they would either need to make a research/skin or modify one of the 3 existing skins to give it that Ability.

It should not be a paid feature or prime. More a correction of an evolution of the game in terms of raiding
