Yes, about two years ago they promised not to sell our data and that the Opt-Out option was there because they needed to add it by law and now they ask us to agree to terms that is letting them to sell and share it with advertisers and data brokers ... "what a surprise".

I highly recommend anyone who agreed to opt-out, and the rest to read the ToS and Privacy Policy very carefully before selecting "Agree":

Subject: Too Many New Ships – Game Balance and Performance Are Suffering

Hello Scopely Team,

Once again, a new ship is being introduced, even though the previous special ships and their objectives have not yet been fully implemented or meaningfully integrated.
Many players have not even completed the previous ships or understood their true usefulness – and now yet another ship is being added, whose role and purpose are still unclear to us.

At the same time, the game is suffering from massive bugs and performance issues. Instead of constantly adding new content, it would be much more beneficial to improve existing performance and fix errors.
Many of our members are now considering leaving the game because they barely have time for actual gameplay.
The daily tasks, events, refinery, and faction tables take up so much time that free exploration of the galaxy and strategic gameplay are hardly possible anymore.
The game should primarily be fun – but right now, it feels more like an endless to-do list.

Please urgently reconsider your concept and place greater emphasis on a bug-free and stable gaming experience.

Why is it every time there is backend changes, that things I was once able to kill with exact same ship and crew 3 or more of winds up changing to where I can’t even kill those exact same lvls anymore? That is total bs. To go from killing things for months at a lvl to going and losing against that very same lvl you were killing when with exact same ship and crew after upgrading the crew and ship to it being a loss . Never played a game that when you in crease your lvls and gear and stuff that you actually wind up losing to things you were killing with relative ease. . I used to kill 3 lvl forty battleships of xindi aquatic with my t6 lvl 30 nx01 and exact same crew yet now nx01 t7 lvl 32 dies right off the bat first time in against same enemies with exact same crew ? Battleship aquatic has a go home shot at the end of round one (activated by chance, I dont know in percentage). You can kill 10 or die at first attempt.But NX01 T7 + 2 energy guns and right crew you should be able to kill the 40s battleship in round one, you ll not drain your hull there, after 50-60 kills getting bored and recalling.

I have a question. I'm DAZ333 from server 709. When you go to the alliance screen that shows all the alliances and their power ratings, why doesn't it show the actual power rating of each alliance? When you click on each alliance it takes you to an invite page that shows a different power rating.

In server 10 most of the pay players are in an alliance called TaL.
TaL has dedicated to killing the server by not allowing armadas... as soon as ships enter certain systems they are destroyed...
And also by camping quest points.

Tell me how were supposed to keep playing in server 10 when we can't dent thier ships and we can't play the game ?...

Now mind you I been playing over 5 years and I never complained, but now they think if they kill server 10 they will get a merge and openly aim to make all players not in thier 3 alliance group inactive.

For the future, when you select a ship, use the white arrow on the right (and left?) to cycle through targets. This will eventually land on the Q target. Zooming in helps as well

The patch notes make it seem like the ship wasn't tested and the arc wasn't ready for release, and all that was done was to finish off the remaining to do list items that weren't implemented for Tuesday.

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing in and of itself, except I really don't see any actual player feedback incorporated into the patch outside of some signs that the ship didn't sell as well as their targets projected. Unfortunate, but unsurprising.

<@&509690795536941056> if just reworked all armadas to do an even split of loot among those participating instead of loot split being power based, it would future proof adding new ships like the relativity that inherently get less loot cause they are overpowered by the rest of the ships involved.

We're getting too many new ships too quickly for most mid level players to digest. Most of the ships are locked at ops 40+ and there are far too many for FtP players to acquire especially if they're NOT in an alliance with 2*+ territories or being in an up end Tournament League. Even having BP's in the Arc Event Stores doesn't really help unless a player is going to dump significant amounts of RL money into the game.

The Boldly Go events help the new players get a jump start and get to ops 20 quickly, but there needs to be more help between ops 20-39 to help players get the ships and crew needed to progress. For example, have dedicated ways to guarantee getting Sisko, Janeway and Archer. There also needs to be a viable FtP path to acquire Pattern Buffers so that Newer players and do level appropriate missions from previous Arcs. I have 3 accounts ranging from ops 27-33 and I can't afford to buy pattern buffers to do the missions locked in the Holodeckm

<@&509690795536941056> So your release some buffs for the ship (possibly because of low sales or player feedback). You still did not adress the two main issues:

• The ship is quite useless for higher ops players (I'm 63). Sure you set it in the armada to apply the buff, but I don't see why I should buy several packs to get the ship where it should be to be of an actual benefit to my game experience. Revenant was better, as it provides immediate benefits event at T1.
• Sourcing for directives is just a joke. This goes for both solos and formations. Limit what players can get through the store cooldowns but not by scarced sourcing for directives. With formations it's even worse, since another failed leg rips your week long "saved" experience apart.

This is an change long overdue. Having loot split by shippower annoyed me at day one, but it was OKish with classic FKR armadas. With all those new ships which stay at a very low power level ist is a necessity. Also I don't see why the Neutral krenim formations yield less loot then the other two legs, all of them cost the same to start.

Please can you fix this. It's ridiculous that these are so difficult to max... they just get locked up way too easily and you're stuck. I only just unlocked mine to 12% (and the same for my tantalus) to only be able to do one upgrade before it's locked AGAIN.
I have also been told by scopely help that once you run out of Q trials to do, you won't be able to unlock them AT ALL. Like, seriously? Please please do something about this.

I thought we were supposed to get better mission mapping to be able to find the missions we are working on and better mission road mapping to be able to complete missions? I see no improvement on n mission road mapping at all. Here this one tells for a research but I can’t even find it in any of the research trees and I’ve looked 6 times in each on trying to find it. Then you give a mission that requires you to have a specific ship that you try to force people to buy. I ain’t stupid enough to spend $100 for 5 lines of code for a game I barely like that has major issues. Hell I don’t spend it on collector edition physical games that give collector items for games I really love and would like to have. Working on Kirk... but thats not the point. They were previously in a reachable system without "Kirk" and now they are not. There was really no reason for the move as both the 62' and 64's were spawning just fine in the same system. Okay so they seperated them fine. But why put them out of the standard warp range without Kirk for g5 epics when they previously were. Makes no sense and was a poor decision. Why warp 1150? Why not warp 1100 instead? Shouldn't need rifts or Kirk to reach them if you have a maxed or nearly maxed epic.

Warp range is definitely going to be a problem if you don't do the right level enemy ships in the zones. If you want to do 63/64 dailies, you travel to that zone with that level range: all you see are level 62 enemy ships. This feedback has been passed on thousands of times, but nothing is done about it. Very annoying Scopely!

On another note: Just unlocked the Ex-Borg yesterday and now that the daylies have reset, i find out the reward payout for their tasks are ... backwards?
For other hunting tasks the secondary ones give more rewards, but for freebooters the first gives me 200 credits and 250 reputation, but the second task only gives 125 credits and no reputation. Feels a bit discouraging, especially with the sweeper research being locked beyond 1250 reputation, so roughly a work-week of daylies. Am i the only one seeing that as quite odd?

Looking for a place to speak out about the way the game is punishing players that are below LvL 40 and hope that we can get this fixed.

My server that I play on is Sever APAC 202 and what a nice server it is... lots of active players and it seems that we are getting ripped off when it comes to the events and the rewards that come with them. The server had its first birthday 2nd of February and everyone was anticipating the opening of OPS lvl 40 so we could get our new ships and join in the content that we have been missing out on for such a long time.
And yet we get nothing, the only response we get from Scopely employees is something along the lines of " I will look into it " or something along those lines...

When first starting the game I had no idea that there was a cap on lvls and when i quickly reached that cap it was obvious that our server has been forgotten about but Scopely just keeps making the same boring content with different pictures with no light at the end of this long dark tunnel of repetitive gameplay.

Watching players that have been great rivals and long time players and even friends leave the game due to the way the gameplay has been lacking in excitement and advancement causing a stale and dull style of get the dailies done and hope that Friday we can move forward in our enrichment of the game.
I call for the aid of all players to hear the call for there to be a removal of the lvl 39 cap and free the stalled servers across the world.

Here is why my teammates from ops39- need more event store currency :

When I was ops35 I used the gorn event store to unlock the defiant. It greatly improved my game so once I felt bajoran faction was on a good track I leveled up.

At 39 once I saw I had every thing in the event store of November I pushed to 40 to get started on the next speciality ships.

If I haven’t had many currency I would still be below 40.

So please give more currency to players below 40. And they might surprise you and level up 😉

I’m not hard on them on this one, clearly they need people to spend to keep the game running, and they don’t force you to pay. Why would you stay at ops39 in today’s game? I am a semi ftp, I have purchased two ships, Mantis and the Monaveen, both of these are really obsolete now. So I have decided to not purchase anymore. I finally have the Vindicator, as a ship it is a little disappointing, the refinery is okay I guess, I am glad I didn't buy it. The survey also asked about officers, as I don't ever buy them, I don't even look at them anymore until I am close to getting them. I do buy Battle pass's and am enjoying the game, the new 60-70 is a great addition. Keep up the good work.

Instead of improving the issue the devs have made it WORSE by adding events that ONLY give Chaos Matter and not Reactors, and adding ONLY Chaos Matter and NO Reactors to the arc store. Two possible solutions:

1. Add a second use for Chaos Matter similar to how Protomatter is used to upgrade Q building.

2. Add another source of Chaos Reactors (even if it's just in the arc store)

I tried clearing in game cache and the app cache on my phone. Neither fixed the issue. It only resolved after I rebooted my phone.

Clear in game cache 500 times, get 5k arc tokens. It should take a day or two to complete

Restart game for Schrodinger's ship 100 times, get 7k arc tokens . Should take 2 days.

Game hangs on the preparing screen 200k times, get 4 tokens. This one will be done in an hour or 2. As an extra bonus, getting just 4 tokens ensures we get more unusable stuff in our inventory.

Mining Obsolete. With huge amount of resources now from events, I meet higher level players that say they don't mine at all. That it is pointless. Refining grants just a silly bit, and mining to refine is not worth the effort, compared to what you get from events. That makes refinery and mining sort of obsolete. The only reason to have a miner is to complete faction dailies. Other than that, all that mining research, mining vehicles and stuff, now seems all pointless (after recent changes to the game (events/battlepass)).

The Vindicator is already a very slow 2 progress ship. Its refinery currency comes from an easy event on thursday. However if for whatever reason you miss this event you are "done" for the week. I agree that handing out the currency just as a gift is too simple. I have more than I know what to do with (been playing forever). Depending on your Ops level, number of tokens you have and how often you get them, I’d save them for Incursions to ensure you can be in a low =<19 system as well as pop around to wherever you can get in on raiding.

They’re more common to get in times past so even if you get to only a couple, more free ones will come along.

I 100% agree. Last year when announcing the Galaxy Quest crossover, Scopely made a big deal about wanting sub-lvl40 players to move up to level 40 and beyond. They specifically noted that future content would be focusing on level 40 and beyond. They also said they would be doing things to encourage and help the lower level players advance to current content levels. The Independent Archives was a great start, and I applaud the addition of this building and the help moving through those loops more quickly. However, since then Scopely appears to have stalled out on the commitment to streamlining the content path to level 40. This miserly amount of currency directly hampers our efforts to get through lower content to get to current 40+ content. Chief in catching up to current content is being able to get the earlier ships and the refinery benefits they provide, including Mantis and Voyager. By cutting way back on currency available to us lower level players, Scopely is slowing us down and impeding the leveling up they claim to want from us.

I was considering buying a pack this month, excited for the new officer ability and additions to the event store. But now I decided to not spend any $ while Scopely continues to be so stingy with event currency.

Scopely, why should I buy access to the new release ships with my dollars if I'm not at a high enough level to use them? Give us more event currency, or lower the event currency cost for sub-40 ship BPs so we can get through to 40+ faster. You might actually see an increase in sales for the new release ships by doing this.

The silly thing about prioritizing over lvl 40 players is that they are basically ensuring that the death of the game will come even sooner.

A lot of STFC players are older. I've know an awful lot who have died over the years. I've also known a lot of big spenders who hit the mid 60s lvl and realized this game is ridiculously expensive and quit. If Scopely is going to treat below lvl 40 like they don't matter who's going to replace the big spenders who leave? That is part of what gets folks to spend more. They get hooked at lower levels when things are easier and cheaper then fall for the sunken cost fallacy.

I'm guessing some brilliant MBA looked at what the revenue is from under lvl 40 vs. higher level players and decided the real money is above 40. They didn't put any thought into the fact that people eventually quit and need to be replaced. It's just chasing the quarterly numbers tail and ignoring the long term profitably and viability of the game.

You will get lots of relocation tokens as you progress. Primary source is completing your daily tasks. Will get you 1/day. You use them by clicking on a planet that you can station around in a different system and it will ask if you want to relocate there. Won’t work if your ships aren’t docked or in the new system.

Just got my vindicator, and I have immediately noticed it may be one of the worst ships in terms of tier up efficiency. The math works out to be months between tiers, and that is simply unacceptable. i can understand the frustration of what we think scopley legally needs to do the problem is they have as most companies worked very very hard to be in a grey area when it comes to what 99.9% of companies have to do compared to what that 0.01% have to do. unfortunately this means the more square your screen is, the more zoomed in you are.
and tablets(as well as folded open foldable phones) have screens that are closer to square.

you can trick the game if there is a way to force a 16:9 or wider aspect ratio, giving you a wider view.
on android it's possible by using multi-window.

you always see about 75% of a system's height when zoomed out, once you see 75% vertically it stops you from zooming out further.
systems are oval, so on a square screen that gives you 50% horizontal visibility.
you need at least a 2:1 screen to see the full width of a system, you can't see the full height of a system without a mod(which only exists on pc/mac/linux)

The entire gifts area, refinery, artifact, territory, faction stores, archive, etc. stores/ needs an option to set a default collection on each button followed by a single master button that collects / claims highest options set to default for everything at once. Not 1 button per section, 1 button for the whole game.
2. The option to disable the "chest opened" screen that when, even for the current claim all in the gifts section, still loads for every. Single. Chest.

I spend more time stepping through a terrible UI tree, collecting chests, and waiting for "adjusting, preparing, activating" then I do actually playing any part of the game. Each new "release" just adds to the problem.

Obsolete mining can lead to total war. Now that game gives ridiculous amounts of resources in events, mining to refine is pointless. That could lead to total war, because up to now strong players were kept in check by possibility of their miners being hit (ROE were invented mostly for this). How’s about a kill counter so we know how many many hostiles we have left until we hit the daily limit. Kinda of a pain guestimating how many are still available for those of us who farm. Would allow people to prioritize what they need to kill when getting close to the limit. Or, you could just remove the limit all together 🤷‍♂️😂.

Also I know this is also a big ask, but maybe give people an option to disable the language filter? That way when we use the innocuous words that still get blocked we don’t have to retype it in a way that shows up in chat. This way the people with more delicate sensibilities can chose to have it on while the rest of us that can handle the more harsh realities of the world can have a uncensored conversation.

Mining is not obsolete unless you are behind the game curve or titan/mega whale and near max everything. They want war because whales spend do much more to level ships than anything else. T h e biggest bottleneck is not mats but ship parts because they are so hard to come by/farm....especially rares. A low grind gives you plenty, fast speed hurts you some. The real problem is a lack of holding players accountable for bad and illegal behavior. Scopley turns a blind eye to that if the players spend a lot.

Why is the arena not fixed? Because the whales love having smalls to curse and beat on. You can't beat them no matter what you do so if it is laggy or they can't attack, they know you can't beat them. And with the impulse 'fix', you can't escape them now. As the ftp and light spenders drop out, the heavy spenders will have to spend more to compete or they will stop. And the whales will spend more to keep that edge.

There are enough group events and ALB to keep whales in check if the smaller player base has the courage to them to stop or kick them out/leave. But most don't have real courage, morals ke values and turn a blind eye too.

Thank you scopley for once again screwing up the game. Since this latest maintenance I’ve been having issues every 2seconds to every 15minutes where lag is so bad and that connection is lost. I don’t have issues with any other game I play on any device so I know it’s not my network or service provider. Which means it’s all on your end due to things you do in your so called maintenance upgrades. Due to lack of confidence in your abilities to fix anything and compensate for your incompetence in fixing things is the number one reason I refuse to send even one penny on this game anymore. It’s funny how people forget Star Trek was never about combat it was always first and foremost about exploration. Stfc and scopley and everyone else seems to have forgotten that. Yes I like fighting as much as the next guy but as a fan of Star Trek I have to say many forgot what Star Trek was about , to boldly go were no man has gone before in the spirit of exploration. Pvp is ok but generally so unfairly matched . Yes i tend to be critically harsh on the game and scopley, but im honest. Yes many good things I like about the game it’s why I still play, but there are many things that do need to change In the game and with scopley business practices that can make both better. Look at stellaris a younger game that within a year of its release went from being just a mobile game to a multi platform game and one of the number one games. Reason why it was able to do that in a short time fairness in game practices and business practices. Which really makes stfc look bad since stfc has a known name where no one new anything about stellaris . So that should make you think scopley about what you’re doing wrong!

Ok one major question here. How to complete this mission when one has no faction missions that can be done or completed. It says in chosen faction mine was Klingon yet I have no Klingon missions. So how am I supposed to complete this mission?

The only Klingon mission I have is death and dishonor but it’s locked by path way that requires what we lost mission. I don’t have this mission. In fact most my missions are done and have no indication of where to find the ones I need to continue on the mission path . In fact only missions I can viably work on are building missions. The ones I have dealing with factions are locked by pathways which require missions I don’t even ghave and missions I can find are locked by missions I can’t even find.

1980’s pvp was about skill and comradery 1990’s pvp was about that same skill and comradery. 2000’s to today it’s no longer pvp= player vs player but wvw= wallets vs wallets with only one real winner and thats the companies that have cash in on the cash cow known as pvp aka wvw. That’s the cold hard reality of todays pvp

The error code that popped up all the time for me was Error Code 2 after it disconnected me due to "connection issue"

The arena enhancements coming are still a joke. 4 ops levels is still in insurmountable difference in this game for most players. Your telling an ops 56 they will get hosed by a g5 epic, and and ops 66 to flail uselessly against an ops 70 with a g6 epic ship. You can't make arena fair and balanced unless you literally make everyone have the same ship power/speed/etc. Got my vindi from the event store, so like many other players, arena will never be something I do ever again.

Step 1: publicly acknowledge the problem exist.

I was a bit harsh in my criticism of the latest patch and complained a bit too much before I did a little more troubleshooting
I found that after clearing the app data and cache and then rebooting my phone ( android 13, Samsung) That the stability and freezing issues did resolve and I have been able to play normally. I need to thank my wife (server 13 SK KITTY QUEEN) for pulling my head out of my *** and suggesting the troubleshooting ideas.
I apologize for being a hothead before doing my due diligence and troubleshooting on my end before complaining like a spoiled brat noob.

I had to delete the cache and data files at the app level ... I had 13 Gb of excess data files in the app on the app.level on my phone. My wife noticed the difference between the game on my tablet versus the game on my phone. ( I primarily play on my phone) so I deleted the excess data files from the app via the setting options in android and. . blammo! it worked like a charm.

A work around that some players have said helped them was clearing the app data/cache on the phone itself (not in game) and uninstalling and reinstalling the game. For anyone to try either method, make sure your account is linked to a scopely ID and or you copy down your playerID in case your authentication token gets wiped and you can't get back into your account. Will make it easier for support to help you.

There are some tasks meant for higher levels. Some meant for lower. That is exactly the point. Lower level players can do the swarm task, while they can't do most of the epic tasks. Why complain about something that isn't meant for your level. Not everything is meant for whales.

Here are some screens from my game play today. An hour in and I just about have my alliance claims done. This is so much fun!! Why didn’t scopley give us this type of game play before? Lag lag lag….click claim….lag lag lag….processing processing……ha it’s your connections fault….game crash or freeze. Heating up phones and iPads to the point I’m afraid they will catch fire. I believe that all the members of your alliance see the same task list, that's why there are tasks for all levels on the board. The list is not personalized for each player. It is the same list available to all in the same alliance. I don't think they change up the list for higher level alliances vs. lower level, because no, it is not smarter than that, Lol.

Did 3 of the acquire 6k unc ex Borg credit tasks. 4400 loot for each, and I had 2900 going into that. My event scored and I am at 30k for the fleet and 3/3 for events. But the loot…I am sure ok scopy is gonna tell me “working as intended” and we aren’t allowed to collect more than a certain amount per tournament. I bet that will be their answer. 🤨🙄. Depends on your platform. I can play although performance is as crappy as it always is. But loads can't play because they can't even log in or get constant freezes.So you need to try yourself really and see if your tolerance for bad performance is high enough to engange today

Is there going to be any new word from scopley regarding the issues on server 22 and the rest of USA servers and the rest of the servers or is it going to be silence and continued ignoring of the issues they caused? There better be massive compensation since they knew there were issues ongoing before they ever released the latest patch which evedently they did not test properly before release. Back when I was learning programming one of the first things I learned was to create and test the codes in a safe zone before ever releasing them to run. This was to both prevent potential viruses and other issues from getting out in the main format

Well while you’re at it, ask whoever is handling loots, to figure out why it is not rewarding us. Did the same event, three times, should have gotten 13,200 based off the maths. Got the rerolls, got the fleet points, didn’t get MY loot. (Shilled my last wins worth, 4400). Not going to bother with putting in a ticket as that is worth less of my time than posting here. Honestly it is just par for the course in my book.

Back in the day, things were simple: You built structures, leveled up ships, or started armadas when you had enough resources. You just played. Today? Today, everything is hoarded, saved, and meticulously planned, as if the galactic apocalypse were looming.

🔹 The new reality in the game:

• Materials are no longer used, just stockpiled.
• Tokens aren't spent, they are stacked like gold bars.
• Armadas? Don’t waste them – only launch the absolute minimum needed for the tournament!
• Even resource purchases are carefully timed to align with the sacred Alliance Tournament.

Why? Because it's all about points. Because we have to maintain our rank or climb higher.
